The Case of the Missing Wedding Ring
Five Hargreeves x Fem!reader
Warnings: none
For a man who had tackled apocalypses, and timelines, Five Hargreeves was astonishingly unprepared for the moment he discovered his wedding ring was missing. He stared at his empty finger, the gravity of the situation dawning on him as he rummaged through his pockets for the tenth time.
“Y/n is going to kill me,” Five muttered, running a hand through his hair. The ring had been a symbol of their bond, a piece of eternity they had vowed to keep. And now, it was gone.
Determined to find the ring before Y/n noticed, Five decided to enlist the help of his siblings. The mansion was a labyrinth of hiding spots, and if anyone could help, it was the rest of the Hargreeves.
He found Klaus lounging in the living room, casually flipping through a fashion magazine. “Klaus,” Five began, trying to keep his voice steady, “I need your help.”
Klaus looked up, raising an eyebrow. “Sure, bro. What’s up?”
Five hesitated, then blurted out, “I lost my wedding ring. I need to find it before Y/n realizes it’s gone.”
A grin spread across Klaus’s face. “Oh, this is going to be fun. You know she’s going to murder you, right?”
“Thanks for the encouragement,” Five replied dryly. “Are you going to help me or not?”
Klaus stood up, stretching dramatically. “Of course, dear brother. Let’s find that symbol of eternal love before Y/n finds you and makes you wish you were dead.”
Five and Klaus’s search quickly spiraled into chaos as they recruited the rest of their siblings.
Luther took the mission seriously, meticulously checking every corner and crevice of the mansion. “Are you sure you didn’t lose it outside?” he asked, lifting the couch to peer underneath.
“I’m sure,” Five replied, exasperated. “It has to be here somewhere.”
Diego, on the other hand, approached the situation with his usual intensity, flipping over cushions and even dismantling parts of the kitchen. “Maybe it slipped off when you were washing your hands,” he suggested, checking the drain for the third time.
Allison joined the hunt with a sense of determination, her focus on finding the ring unwavering. “Don’t worry, Five. We’ll find it,” she reassured him, peeking into cabinets and drawers.
Viktor, ever the calm presence, methodically sifted through various rooms, his face a mask of concentration. “Have you retraced all your steps?” he asked, glancing up from his careful search of the library.
Meanwhile, Klaus provided a running commentary, much to Five’s annoyance. “Maybe the ring ran off because it felt neglected,” he joked, earning a glare from Five.
As the search dragged on, Five grew increasingly anxious. He couldn’t help but imagine Y/n’s reaction if he returned empty-handed.
The siblings gathered in the kitchen, their faces a mix of concern and amusement. “What if we can’t find it?” Five asked, his voice tinged with worry.
“We will,” Allison said firmly. “We just need to think. Where’s the one place you haven’t looked?”
Five thought for a moment, then his eyes widened. “The attic. I was up there earlier looking for an old book. Maybe it fell off while I was moving boxes.”
The group hurried to the attic, their footsteps echoing in the dimly lit hallway. Klaus couldn’t resist a final quip. “If we find a ghost up there wearing your ring, I’m out of here.”
The attic was cluttered with dusty old furniture and boxes of forgotten treasures. Five waded through the mess, his eyes scanning the floor. His heart pounded as he reached the spot where he had been earlier.
There, amidst a pile of old books and papers, glinted a small silver ring.
“I found it!” Five exclaimed, relief flooding his voice. He picked up the ring, inspecting it closely to make sure it was undamaged.
Klaus clapped him on the back. “Nice going, Sherlock. Now you just have to come up with a story for why you spent the whole day frantically tearing the house apart.”
Five slipped the ring back on his finger, the familiar weight reassuring. “Thanks, everyone,” he said, a rare smile touching his lips. “I owe you one.”
Later that evening, Five sat on the couch, his arm around Y/n as they watched a movie. She hadn’t noticed anything amiss, and Five was determined to keep it that way.
As the credits rolled, Y/n glanced up at him. “You seem unusually quiet today,” she said, a hint of curiosity in her voice.
Five’s heart skipped a beat. “Just tired,” he replied smoothly. “Long day.”
Y/n nodded, her attention returning to the screen. “Well, I’m glad i’m home. I missed you.”
Five smiled, the warmth in her voice easing the last of his anxiety. He tightened his arm around her, grateful that the crisis had been averted.
In the kitchen, Klaus and Diego exchanged knowing glances, barely suppressing their laughter. “Think he’ll tell her?” Diego whispered.
“Not a chance,” Klaus replied with a grin. “But you know what? I think she already knows.”

Twelve Feet Away from the Mistletoe - Part 2 | Five Hargreeves / F Reader (Angst/Fluff) Words 3k
Requested by @fiannee. I managed to stop myself writing smut through the simple expedient of fading to black. #personalgrowth
<< Read Part 1
On Christmas Eve, he opened the front door looking a million dollars. He stood straight and authoritative in what must have been his best suit. Its clean lines skimmed and accentuated the breadth of his shoulders, his trim waist, and the shape of his legs.
You stared, dumbstruck for a moment, snow settling on the shoulders of your coat.
Five looked like he’d been dressed by Gianni Versace himself, and you were standing in out in the snow wearing a lumpy sweater featuring candy cane striped arms and a horrified looking gingerbread man with a huge bite out of his head.
“Nice sweater,” he said, apparently too distracted by the small glimpse not obscured by your coat to say anything else.
“Thanks,” you said, embarrassed.
You looked up at him for a second, there on the Academy steps, laden down by a large bag of Christmas gifts in your hand and a bag of clothes on your back, the cold air at your back rushing into the warmth of the entrance hall. You were suddenly unsure how to proceed. He was smiling welcome, but there was still a moment of uncertainty.
You’d had no contact with him since that night. How to greet him after what happened? A handshake? A hug? Surely a kiss was too -
But Five stepped back from the door and gestured you through it.
“Come in,” he said, “we’re about to order Chinese food.”
“Sounds good,” you said, smiling awkwardly as you maneuvered your lumpy bag of gifts through the door.
You stood in front of him for a second or so, waiting for the hug or handshake or whatever, but it never came. Instead, he closed the door behind you and went to lead you into the living room where signs of movement made it clear that his siblings sat.
You hesitated, and it made him notice your bag of gifts for the first time. He looked curiously down into the bag.
“Are these for-?”
“Just some gifts for you all,” you said, waving a hand to disclaim their importance. “I was just going to go dump them in the room I’m sleeping in and then-”
“Sure, sure,” he nodded towards the stairs, “you go do that. It’s the same one as last time,” he finished, answering your unarticulated question.
***
Alone in the spare room you’d been sleeping in last time you stayed, you looked in the full length mirror.
With Five looking like he’d fallen from heaven, the sweater suddenly felt like a bad move. Why did you always have to hide behind a veneer of childish humor? Why, when you came here hoping to be swept off your feet, did you dress like an idiot?
Ever since that kiss, he’d polluted your thoughts. Memories of the sensation of his lips on yours and the occasional touch of his tongue had always been followed by whether you should try to see him before christmas, whether to buy him a gift and exactly how you should pitch that gift. You’d agonized over it until you bought everyone a gift just so that buying him one wouldn’t stand out too much.
All in all, the last couple of weeks had been a mess of doubt and nerves.
Mentally shaking yourself, you pushed these thoughts aside. You kissed under the mistletoe once: it was hardly grounds to expect romance. Maybe his invitation to come for Christmas had been friendly, and the kiss was just a bit of fun in the moment. There was mild mutual attraction and there was mistletoe, but outside that little bit of holiday mischief, you were just his brother’s friend.
Fuck it. You liked this sweater and you weren’t going to change it for a man. And you’d be damned if you let yourself get hung up on a man this fickle. Squaring your shoulders, you left the bedroom.
***
“I thought I heard your voice.”
Viktor’s smile from one of the armchairs was one of welcome, but surprise. Luther, Sloane, Klaus, Diego and Lila were watching you too, looking welcoming themselves but oddly expectant somehow. Five was nowhere to be found.
You felt the enquiry in their looks.
“Uh - am I early? Five said Christmas Eve but he didn’t say when.”
“Huh?” Diego said, uncomprehending. Their eyes on you felt uncomfortable.
“H-he told me to come over on Christmas Eve and stay a couple of nights. Did he not tell-?”
“Wait:” Lila said, loudly, “you’re telling us Five invited you for Christmas?”
“Yes,” you all but whispered, heat rising to your cheeks, “did he not tell you?”
“First I’m hearing of it.” Lila said, amused, “The sly old git.”
Putting two and two together, Viktor stepped in to cover your feeling of intruding on them.
“Sorry, I forgot to mention it to you guys. We invited her to come before she moved into her new place.”
“No problem here,” Klaus said, shrugging and throwing his sequined ankle boots up onto the table, “nice to have a different face to look at.”
After the other inhabitants of the room made sounds of agreement, or stated their welcome, you took a place beside Viktor.
When a bottle of champagne had been popped and poured by Sloane and quiet chat reestablished, Viktor leaned towards you.
“So are you and he-?”
“No.” you said, hurriedly, as a wiggle of Viktor’s eyebrows suggested what you and Five might be up to, “He didn’t really tell you he invited me, did he?”
“No,” he sniggered, But seriously - what’s going on? When did he ask?”
“My last night here,” you began, uncertainly, “you were asleep on the couch and -” you cast around for how to explain it, and then promptly chickened out, “- he asked me then.”
Viktor looked as if he knew this was far from the full story, but made no further comment.
“Well, I’m glad you’re here. I’m sorry I didn’t ask you. I should have done.”
You shook your head to indicate that his apology was unnecessary, but were too preoccupied with one question to do more.
“Where did Five go, anyway?”
“Beats me.” Viktor shrugged. “We were about to order dinner but he disappeared.”
Disappeared?” you repeated, surprised into speaking more loudly than you intended.
This attracted the attention of Klaus, who watched you with interest from over his champagne glass.
Don’t get hung up on him. Don’t.
“Yeah,” Viktor said, clearly as confused as you, “he blinked away.”
“And we were just about to order food,” Klaus said, airily, “let’s give him fifteen and if he doesn’t come back, we order without him.”
You gave him an hour. And then you did order without him. And, by the time the meal came, he still wasn’t back. And, another two hours later, the portion of satay and fried rice Viktor had ordered for him was still sitting on the coffee table, completely cold.
You tried not to let it get to you. You tried not to let yourself dwell. You remembered the sensible conclusion you’d come to in your third-floor bedroom but still, a mixture of confusion, hurt and irritation began to fight for the upper hand in your feelings.
Even as you enjoyed the company of his siblings, joined in with their banter and laughed at their jokes, half your mind was engaged battling over their brother.
What had you done to make him leave like this? Why invite you over at all if he clearly didn’t want to spend time with you? Did he take one look at you and regret that kiss? Did you spend days agonizing about whether you should buy him that gift just for him to make other plans as soon as you arrived?
Fuck him. And fuck his mixed signals too.
You looked up at the felt mistletoe above the fireplace. Cheap and fake, just like that kiss apparently.
As the evening wore on, the snow got heavier and heavier outside, until snowflakes were falling in thick, heavy clumps past the windows, melting into slush as they came into contact with damp, dirty sidewalks and tarmac laid with grit.
And Five’s meal was still left uneaten, even when Luther began to campaign hard to get everyone to watch The Muppet Christmas Carol.
“Five would agree with me,” Luther said, earnestly, “he loved it when we were kids.”
“Only because it was the only Christmas video tape we had.” Viktor replied.
“And he was six years old,” Deigo interjected, “you’re the only one who hasn’t matured since then.”
“You guys are grinches,” Luther said, sulkily. And then, face changing to curiosity as soon as the thought occurred: “where the hell is Five, anyway?”
“Search me,” Viktor replied.
“Should we be worried?” you asked, as Luther lost interest and continued to extol the Muppets’ many adaptational virtues.
“Nah,” Klaus said, “I’m more worried for the folks wherever he is.”
“Does he do this often?” you pressed.
“Oh yes. Cinco’s a little...unpredictable. Probably wanted to avoid being sociable. Probably couldn’t face Luther’s whining about this shitty movie.”
Pleading tiredness, you headed to bed before the movie began, Luther cross-legged in front of the TV accompanied by an equally excited Lila. As you bade them all goodnight, Viktor watched you with a look of mild concern.
“See you in the morning,” you said, trying to smile at him and put his mind at ease, but unsure if you were successful given that your brain had been a mush of rage and recriminations for the last four hours at least.
His sympathetic smile back was slightly too knowing for you to be comfortable.
So much for not getting hung up on him.
***
Quite how you woke up in Five’s bed the next morning, you would never know. And, as his warmth shifted beside you ahd he whispered a sleepy: “Merry Christmas,” into your ear, you found that you didn’t much care how it happened, only that it did.
It started with you alone in your room, having changed into your pajamas; still hurt, still angry and even angrier at yourself for being so.
How could you let one kiss do this to you? How could you let this man get under your skin?
Because how could you forget? How could you go back now, knowing the feel of his hair, the feel of his breath feathering across your lips? How could any kiss ever again live up to the one he’d given you so carelessly?
That bastard. That smooth-skinned, perfect-jawed, green-eyed bastard.
Muffled above your head, came a sound you nevertheless recognised: the static whoosh that signaled one of Five’s blinks.
So he’d been up in his room all this time? Perhaps using his powers to avoid you?
No. Fuck that noise.
As if you yourself had blinked there from your bedroom, you found yourself marching up the attic stairs and knocking insistently on his door.
“Yeah?” came his slightly irritated voice from inside.
That tone was like a red rag to a bull already butting against his confines. You thrust the door open and were over the threshold before he could acknowledge you.
“Why did you invite me here?” you demanded.
Clearly, Five’s response to your knock had not meant that it was fine to come in. He stood there in the center of the room, naked from the waist up, a sopping wet shirt falling from his hands onto the floor.
You felt your face heat up like a whoosh from a gas furnace. You didn’t stare, but the second or so you looked gave you enough of a glimpse of a firm stomach, subtly toned abdominals, and dusk-rose nipples erect in the chill of the attic room.
“Sorry,” you said, looking briefly down at your feet to give him a chance to dress himself.
“No problem,” he replied, briskly, though making no move to cover himself.
Eventually you looked back up at his face, careful to avoid your eyes lingering elsewhere.
“Why are you wet?” you asked, as he brushed away a drip of water running down his nose from his drenched, tousled hair.
“I’ve been out,” he said, as if this were obvious, “It’s snowing. It’s heavy sleet really. Almost rain by now.”
“Where?” you pressed, embarrassment quickly replaced by the irritation you’d come here with “And why did you invite me over just to fuck off all night?”
His lips tightened, shifting in apparent discomfort.
“I needed to run an errand.” he said, after a short pause.
“An errand?” you said, skepticism dripping from every syllable, “Come on. Don't bullshit me.”
“I needed to run an errand.” he repeated, simply and deliberately, “Take it or leave it.”
He raised his eyebrows and folded his arms across his chest in a way that made the veins and muscle definition of his forearms look borderline pornographic. It was just like this asshole, to look so infuriatingly sexy when you were trying to yell at him.
You let out an angry huff of breath through your nostrils.
“Why did you invite me tonight?” you asked, again, more insistently this time.
“Because I wanted to see you for Christmas!” he said, frustratedly, as if this were obvious, “I wanted to see if you and I were going anywhere!”
“What?” you yelped, wrongfooted and jolted unexpectedly out of anger.
He stepped towards you.
“We kissed. I wanted to see if -” he gestured frustratedly between you, as if to indicate a connection in question, “-And when you turned up tonight, with all those gifts, I had to…”
His face worked, chewing his lips.
“I had to buy you a gift too.” he said, reluctantly.
You blinked, and he continued.
“Ever since that night, I’ve been thinking it over. Whether I should get you a gift and show you I’m serious about us trying something together, but I decided not to in case it scared you off. And then, tonight, when I saw a gift to me in your bag, I…”
He tailed off.
You let out a single breath: half laugh and half sigh. You could feel yourself trembling as you smiled at him.
“Viktor and I don’t usually do gifts,” you said, softly.
He looked confused at this apparent non sequitur, but his eyes crinkled into a smile as you continued, “I only got gifts for him and the others to make it look less weird to get you one. I didn’t want to scare you off.”
A breathy laugh escaped his perfect lips.
“So what have we learned?” he asked, expectantly.
“That we’re both weird and intense?”
“Correct,” he nodded, taking another step forward, and tilting his head insolently. “but it also shows that neither of us scare easy.”
He was effortlessly, devastatingly sexy.
You took a step towards him in turn.
“So we can be as weird and intense as we want to be?”
Your voice came out husky, now no more than a foot away from his perfect, half-naked form.
“Exactly,” he whispered.
And, leaning forward, he closed the door behind you with a decisive click.
Your mouth was on his before he could react. The whole world was his lips, his warm breath and the smell of his damp skin. Your hands sprang to his freezing torso, feeling gooseflesh as well as muscle beneath your fingers.
“You’re so cold,” you breathed, breaking the kiss.
“Then warm me up,” he growled, a wolfish version of his cocky, know-it-all smile curling his lips.
And you would have obliged him: you would have rushed him and ravished him. You would have pulled his hair and pushed him roughly onto his own bed…
Except he got there first. His nose crashed into yours, resuming the kiss roughly. Groaning low in his throat as you responded in kind.
All the restraint you’d sensed in his kiss beneath the mistletoe had clearly been abandoned, because now was all teeth, tongue and roaming hands as he steered you towards the bed.
***
You rolled over, a blissful smile on your face, and came to rest on Five’s shoulder.
“Happy Christmas,” you replied to his whispered greeting.
He leaned in for a kiss, a loving one this time, and then sat up in bed. He leaned over to reach for his abandoned, soaked jacket of the previous evening, rummaging around in it on the floor, inelegantly stretched across the rug, half in and half out of bed.
“What are you-”
“There we go,” he said, locating whatever he’d been searching for. He heaved himself back on the bed, a small black box in hand.
“It’s your Christmas gift,” he said, matter-of-factly, “It’s Christmas morning. That’s traditionally when you open gifts.”
Your eyes were fixed on the box.
“Oh god, it’s not jewelry is it?”
“Yes,” he said, eyebrows contracting.
You interpreted his expression correctly and tried to assuage his worry.
“No - no, I mean, I like jewelry, it’s just that - oh, give it here.”
You took the box from him and opened it. Inside was a delicate, gold mistletoe pendant hanging off a matching chain.
“Fuck,” you said, distractedly.
“So…wrong move?” he said, worriedly.
“No. No. It’s beautiful. It’s gorgeous, Five. It’s just that -” you looked up at him, face the picture of agony, I only got you a bottle of scotch!”
He broke into a broad, relieved smile.
“Which scotch?” he asked, curiously.
“It seems so stupid now," you moaned, mortified, “but I remembered you talking to Klaus about being in Edinburgh in 1988 and drinking -” “Glen Moray 12?” he asked, eyes lighting up.
“I didn’t even get the right year!” you whined, oblivious to the pleasure that would have been obvious to anyone else, “I could only get one bottled in 1987.”
He gave an incredulous, pleased chuckle, smile broadening even more.
“That’s perfect. My god, you’ve been hanging off my every word, haven’t you?”
“Shut up,” you muttered, feeling your face heat up as his smile became slightly smug.
“That’s pretty weird and intense,” he teased.
“No more weird and intense than buying a gold necklace for a girl you kissed once,” you shot back, finally catching his mood and teasing him in turn.
“Touché.” he conceded, and leaned his forehead affectionately against yours, "But is it acceptable now I've kissed you much more than once?"
"Hm," you said, in mock thought, "I'll reserve judgment."

Twelve Feet Away From the Mistletoe | Five Hargreeves / F Reader 2.8k words
Viktor was a friend of a friend who gradually became your own.
He was supportive when you lost your job in September, and was even more practical help when you lost your apartment around Halloween.
“There are like forty spare bedrooms. Technically I can do what I like with six of those since I own a seventh of the house. Plus you wouldn’t get in anyone’s way. There’s like…so much room.
“Viktor, that’s kind but I’ll be fine. My parents say -”
“Don’t your parents live outside the city?” he interrupted, “I think it would be easier to find work if you’re here.”
“Yeah, it would, but I can’t pay any rent.”
“I don’t want rent. Stay a few months. Be my guest. I could use someone to help me deal with my crazy family anyway. It’s weird being back in that house.”
And so, you’d accepted. It was hard to refuse Viktor anything.
‘Crazy’ was one word to describe his family. ‘Volatile’, ‘noisy’ and ‘infuriating’ were some others.
And none were more infuriating than Number Five.
You met him the first night you stayed, while Viktor was thrashing you at pool as the pair of you got gradually drunker on Moscow Mules. You weren’t really enjoying the game, but you were enjoying hanging out with him, and you’d just mis-cued spectacularly as Five entered the room.
The first thing you noticed was his scowl. The second, third, fourth and fifth thing you noticed was his looks.
Dark. Pale. Jaw a razor lined angle, nose long and imperious. He moved with quick, confident grace as he crossed the room. It was as if every thread of carpet his shoes touched had been waiting until that moment, just to pave his way, and now all other treads to come would be incidental to the floor’s true purpose. Hands thrust self-assuredly in his pockets, he seemed to look down on you as if from a great height, although he was barely an inch taller.
Cold green eyes looked you up and down.
He cut a fine figure, but an arrogant one. Despite his looks, your overriding impression was only of rudeness, so you met the challenge of his gaze unflinchingly.
After a moment surveying you, he turned to Viktor.
“Luther’s looking for you.”
“Why?” Viktor asked.
“No idea. I’m not your secretary.”
As Five’s gaze shifted back to you, Viktor took the hint and introduced you.
“She’s a friend of mine,” he said, by way of explanation, “she’s lost her apartment so she’ll be staying for a while.”
Five sighed at this, shaking his head at you with a dark chuckle.
“Is there a problem?” you asked, politely.
“No. No problem,” he said, though his tone making it clear that there was, “It’s only that I’ve seen this play out a dozen times: my brother has a habit of picking up waifs and strays.”
“Don’t be dickhead,” Viktor murmured.
Five shrugged, smirking.
“Letting me stay for a few weeks because we’re friends is hardly ‘picking me up’, you said, bristling, “I’m sure Viktor will ask for your opinion when he wants it.”
Five smiled that infuriating, sarcastic smile of his. Even then, when you were angry with him, looking into his eyes was an experience you noticed for the way it made your heart beat.
“I guess I’m just a little protective,” Five said, delicately, “I know how susceptible he is to a sob story."
He looked at you insolently for a beat longer before addressing his next words to Viktor.
"Don’t let her take advantage of you.”
“Come on, Five,” said Viktor, almost wearily, “I can decide who’s taking advantage for myself.”
Five scoffed, at this, expressing doubt as clearly as if he'd spoken it.
Stinging with the injustice of Five’s snap judgment and his infantilization of his brother, you ground your teeth. You knew Viktor had a tough time as ‘Number Seven’ (always being told he wasn’t good enough), and for a moment you thought you could see that in Five’s treatment of him.
“Your brother’s a grown man. So why don’t you fuck off and go back to torturing small mammals, planning your next school shooting or whatever your We Need to Talk About Kevin - looking ass likes to do?”
Five looked back at you, in slight surprise, studying your angry face. After a short moment, he gave a tiny shrug and made a small noise of assent.
Then, looking back at Viktor:
“Do you want Thai food later?”
When he was gone, Viktor assured you that you’d just made as good an impression as it was possible to make.
You doubted this, however. Five rarely spoke to you beyond a good morning and a good night. He was polite, but nevertheless guarded.
It was strange, on the few occasions he had deigned to strike up a conversation with you, he took two routes: he'd either draw you out for no reason other than to challenge you on your opinions, or else ask odd combinations of questions. There was nothing odd in themselves, but in aggregate they felt...strategic. He asked what you liked to do, whether you lived with a roommate or partner in your last place, how you and Viktor met, how well you knew each other…the list went on.
Perhaps he was still scrutinizing you, ensuring that you weren’t trying to use his brother in any way.
It stung to feel that he still suspected you when you’d done nothing but accept a friend’s offer of help, but you were soon able to put it from your mind in the wake of the enjoyment you got from staying there and hanging out with the rest of Viktor’s family. Over the few weeks you were there, you indulged Luther, chatted animatedly with Diego, and laughed with Klaus and Lila.
But still, and despite his polite superciliousness, only the oldest brother drew your eye as soon as he entered any room.
He unnerved as well as attracted you. Sometimes, you thought you caught him watching you, peering over whatever book he was reading with a steady look of contemplation. As soon as you noticed it, however, you concluded it was probably just absent-mindedness: you found him staring into space or at one of siblings just as often.
You found a new job by mid-November, but Viktor persuaded you to wait for your first month’s paycheck to come in before you put down a deposit on a new place, so when it came to your last night staying with them there were half-assed string lights and tinsel hung haphazardly around Hargreeves manor.
Those on the tree and the fire crackling in the grate were the living room’s only light. In the flickering, warm glow, even Luther’s piss-poor attempt at decoration looked passable.
With Christmas music playing softly in the background, the booze had been flowing. Ill-advised mulled wine followed ill-advised eggnog followed ill-advised mimosas, leading Luther and Sloane to already stagger off to bed.
Sprawled on one of the couches, Viktor leaned towards you, lowering his voice so as not to be heard over the noise of Klaus and Diego arguing over who had most right to the final gingerbread man.
“I'll miss you, but at least when you're gone Five's crush might calm down."
“What?” you asked, too quickly to pass off as true ignorance.
“Come on, he’s been staring at you for the past three weeks.” Viktor smiled, teasing in his tipsiness, I’ve never seen him like this,” he added, fondly.
“Yeah, whatever.” you said, brushing this off with a roll of your eyes, “If he’s been staring at me, it’s probably only because I piss him off more than anyone else in the room.”
“We all piss him off.” Viktor said, reasonably, “Everyone he likes pisses him off.”
You looked at him doubtfully.
“Pretty weird way to be.”
Viktor shrugged.
“Well, he's definitely interested. The other day he asked if there was anything between you and me. Why else would he ask me that?"
You looked at Five covertly from the corner of your eye.
“Probably just checking I’m not some gold-digger moving in on that sweet sweet Hargreeves dough.”
“I don’t think he cares about the Hargreeves dough,” Viktor replied.
“Yeah, well,” you murmured, hoping that this would be the end of the conversation.
But Viktor didn’t oblige you in this. The drink was making him uncharacteristically tenacious.
“He’s into you. I’m sure of it. So you don’t like him?”
You sighed deeply, your own mild intoxication making it harder to bullshit him.
“I’m not saying he isn’t hot,” (Viktor visibly cringed at this remark), “but why would I be into someone who looks at me like I’m a problem?”
“I think that’s just his face,” Viktor said, more uncertain now, “but I hear you.”
The conversation moved on, and you chatted with the family lazily as, one by one they all filtered off to bed. Soon, it was just you, Five and Viktor who, when you turned to look at him after Klaus’s departure, had fallen asleep on the couch.
Five caught sight of this and let out a small laughing breath. At the sound, you caught his eye and smiled, sharing the moment of humor.
At this reception, he got slowly up from his armchair and moved over to your couch. His usually confident movements were smaller than usual. If you didn’t know better, you might have thought he was uncertain in this approach.
“Too much eggnog,” you said, as he sat down, nodding at his snoring brother.
“Mhm.” Five agreed, “There’s not much of him and he’s no drinker.”
You fell back into silence. He was only a few inches from you now, and it was awkward; strangely awkward. you were just thinking how best to excuse yourself and whether you should wake Viktor, when Five spoke again.
“So, you’re moving into your new place tomorrow?”
You cleared your throat. There should be nothing uncomfortable about this. This was just small-talk with your friend’s brother.
...Your friend's brother who apparently hated your guts yet had also appeared in your dreams virtually every night since you met him in varying states of undress.
Pulling yourself together, you turned to face him with a passable impression of ease.
“Yeah. I’m all packed. The moving van will be here around 11.”
“Hm,” Five said.
It was a single syllable, yet its ambiguity in tone made you look at him more closely.
He noticed.
“Will you decorate the new place for christmas?” he asked, quickly.
“Probably not,” you said, trying to keep your tone conversational, “my parents are away this year so I’ll be doing Christmas alone. There’s no point in unpacking it all just to put it away again in a few days.”
Giving himself thinking time, Five shifted, letting out a little sigh as he repositioned himself. Holding his glass of whisky on his knee, he leaned back, resting his head against the couch cushions and watching you from beneath the dark hair now falling over his eyes.
“That seems a shame,” he said, finally.
You shrugged, mirroring him unconsciously, leaning back against the cushions so that your faces were just over a foot apart
“There’s always next year.”
“You’d be welcome here.” he said, seriously, “It was nice having you for Thanksgiving.”
“I’d never assume Viktor would invite me.”
“But I’m inviting you.”
You looked at him with a confused expression, which he interpreted correctly:
“What? Is it too much to imagine I want you to be there?”
'Yes', you wanted to say.
“You called me a deluded hippy at Thanksgiving.”
“That’s not necessarily a bad thing. You’re a progressive…an idealistic progressive.”
He smiled, and your eyes flicked uncontrollably down to his lips.
“And I only said that because you called me a fascist,” he continued, unaware of your unruly gaze flicking guiltily away from his mouth, “I know you weren’t being serious, but I don’t take that sort of accusation lightly.”
He responded to the question posed by your expression:
“I spent a lot of time in 1930s Munich. Not nice.”
You stole another glance at him and caught his grim face; handsome features clouded by too many dark memories.
“I’m sorry,” you said, more softly than you’d ever spoken to him before.
“Don’t worry about it,” he replied, “I guess I’ve not given you the best impression.”
“No,” you said, disclaiming the idea unconvincingly, “it’s not exactly that…”
He raised an eyebrow skeptically, and you chuckled slightly.
“Well, I got the impression you wouldn’t like me to come to another family celebration, anyway.”
“And now I want to correct that impression.” he said, seriously, “I’d like to spend christmas with you. With all of us, I mean.”
You’d been looking into his eyes for too long now, fine lashes framing them, his pupils blown in the low light. Somehow, those eyes always gave you the impression you were being assessed.
…And for the first time, it occurred to you that perhaps you were being assessed: just not in the way you’d assumed.
You blinked and looked down, though you didn’t move your head from beside his.
“Thanks Five,” you replied, after a silence of seconds that felt like minutes. “I’d like that.”
He smiled again, the corners of his mouth just twitching. It was as if he was trying to conceal just how much you accepting his invitation meant, but the lines around his eyes betrayed him. As you smiled in return, he couldn’t contain it further, and those gorgeous lips broke into a genuine, unrestrained smile.
And somehow, over the course of the conversation, your heads had shifted to a distance of no more than six inches apart.
You could feel his exhales on your cheeks.
“I heard you and Viktor talking tonight.” he said, voice low, “He’s right about me.”
You felt the heat rising in your cheeks as he continued.
“I don’t think you’re a problem. Far from it, actually.”
“Oh,” you said. It was all you could say as he inched ever closer to you.
You could have counted each of his eyelashes.
“And I also know that you think I’m hot,” he said, emphasizing the word with the ghost of his usual shit-eating grin back in his eyes, “so why not take the opportunity of being under the mistletoe and kiss me?”
You looked up to where he’d indicated. Across the room, above the fireplace, there was indeed a bunch of felt mistletoe, tied with a red, velvet bow: exactly the sort of decoration Luther would buy.
“But we’re not under the mistletoe,” you said, hoping to give your racing mind and beating heart some time to take stock of this, “it’s twelve feet away.”
Five’s eyebrows twitched, and he looked quickly from you to the mistletoe and back again.
“Let me fix that,” he said, and suddenly your upper arms were caught in his grip.
Air crushed in on you as you both disappeared in a flash of blue, and then rushed away as you rematerialized beside the fireplace, mistletoe hanging overheard. You swayed from the surprise of unexpected teleportation, holding onto Five’s lapels for dear life as you tried to stay upright.
But his arms were around you, strong and solid. And his mouth was on yours, soft and yielding. You breathed his breath; tasted the sweet burn of scotch on his lips and felt yourself kissing him back, responding to a careful passion that you could sense might go further but for his self-restraint.
His hands left your arms and came to cup your jaw, rising gooseflesh following the path of his fingers at the nape of your neck. You shivered at the sensation and deepened the kiss, your fingers automatically starting to gently tug into his soft, eucalyptus-smelling hair.
He made a low, appreciative sound against your lips but then, perhaps conscious of his brother sleeping on the couch, broke the kiss and stepped away.
You could do nothing but stand there: surprised, dazed, yet anxious to recapture his lips. The kiss had felt like one, shining, crystalline moment as it happened, but now it had already retreated too far over the horizon for you to stay satisfied.
You opened your mouth to say…you didn’t know what, but, grinning his infuriating grin, he held up a single finger to silence you.
“I'll see you on Christmas Eve. Stay a couple of nights.”
You nodded, mutely.
“It’s forecast to be cold though, so if you get cold in one of the spare bedrooms you could always-”
Now it was your turn to hold up a finger and silence him:
“Don’t ruin this with a crappy pickup line.”
He nodded sagely.
“Noted.”
And with a small wink, he vanished in another of those blue flashes.

Chapter Five (Rated E, 4.9k words)
The End of It
You awoke on Christmas day with a feeling of unreality. Was any of it real? Was this real?
Yet the bedsheets were your own, the bed was your own, the bedroom was your own. And, as what happened solidified in your mind, you realised that, best and happiest of all, all the time ahead of you was your own.
Time to make amends, time to build some bridges, time to live your life.
Today, you had three things to do. As you jumped in the shower, you imagined each of them with a smile. The first was so simple, the second so overdue, and the last so needed.
The first two could be completed almost immediately so, fresh out of the shower, you immediately set about choosing a nice outfit for the day.
As the wardrobe door creaked open, you smiled again. It was a beautiful wardrobe, big enough for a grown man to hide in before taking you on the trip of a lifetime. For that, you’d love it as long as you lived.
Dressed, you cantered into the living room intent on another piece of furniture. The old bureau had been left virtually untouched since the apartment passed into your name. You laid hands on it, smile trembling with emotion, and felt beneath your palms before you unlocked it.
There it all was: keepsakes and framed photographs stacked or stowed away in inner drawers. Your hand went automatically to the topmost drawer, where you knew you’d find what you were seeking. You remembered carrying it numbly back from the hospital and locking it up tight; locking away the fact she was gone.
You picked up her necklace and held it to the light. The silver encrusted with rhinestones still looked like diamonds to your eyes. It sat on her collarbone, twinkling in the light day after day. The pendant was one snowflake-delicate flower hanging from another, leaf detailing leading off them to form Y shape up each side of the chain.
It was her all over, and you kissed the pendant in your hand.
“I love you, Grandma.”
Your heart fluttered with the small moment of feeling, and then soared as you fastened it around your own neck. It was like a talisman: with its comforting weight against your chest, you could honour the past, live for the present, and look with new eyes towards the future.
The first of your three tasks done, you set about the second, pulling out your phone and sitting down to compose a message to Robbie.
When you rang their doorbell later that morning, intent on your third task, you bounced nervously on the balls of your feet, bottles clinking in the stuffed-full bags by your sides.
Sloane answered, and you faltered, remembering what you heard her say yesterday, but when you looked at her face, she seemed more surprised than anything.
“Happy Christmas,” you said, smiling a little awkwardly.
She returned your greeting with a slightly cold smile.
“Is Luther in?” you asked, “He invited me today, but I was pretty rude to him so…”
You tailed off, and her expression softened slightly.
“I brought booze.” you joked tentatively, “A peace offering.”
Sloane smiled then.
“Come in, it’s cold out there. He’s in the kitchen.”
“Cooking since five AM I bet?”
She gave a surprised chuckle.
“Yes actually. They’re been working their asses off. Just let me go get him.”
You gave her brief thumbs up and she walked briskly towards the kitchen.
You looked around affectionately at the Academy’s entrance hall. Far from being intimidating, it now felt like an old friend.
Only a few seconds later, hurried footsteps announced Luther’s arrival.
“You came!” he cheered, bounding towards you.
He was wearing an expression of pure, unbridled joy on his face and a comically tiny apron embroidered with poinsettias and adorned with frills. You held out your arms and hugged him.
“Happy Holidays. I’m so sorry about yesterday,” you said fervently, “I was such an asshole.”
“Forget it,” Luther replied, sounding as if life could afford no greater promise for the day than to have you here, “water under the bridge.”
“I don’t deserve you.” you said, hugging him harder, “Thank you so much for putting up with me.”
“I don’t put up with you, I like you.”
When you broke apart, you briefly hugged Sloane too.
“You’ll stay all day, right?” she asked, “And sleep over. We have so many spare rooms.”
Apparently her dislike of you wasn’t so deep that a decent apology couldn’t undo it all, and you were glad for that fact. You knew from Luther that Sloane was his perfect match, and you hoped to find a friend in her too.
“If you’ll have me, I’d love to stay.”
“Gladly,” said Five’s voice.
You broke apart from Sloane to find Five standing in the doorway, clad in his own frilly apron tied over his new sweater and drying his hands on a dishtowel.
Though you said goodbye to him only a few hours ago, it felt like much longer. You felt renewed, joyful, and invigorated, and with it came a new perspective. Every person was a fellow passenger onwards through time, but only you and Five were united in having seen the destination and decided to change it.
Luther and Sloane exchanged a significant look as you and Five moved towards each other.
“Happy Christmas,” you said.
The consciousness of what passed the previous night crackled between you, and you exchanged conscious, conspiratorial smiles.
“Happy Christmas.” he replied, tucking the distowel in his apron pocket, “Nice necklace.”
“Thanks. Nice apron.”
He gave a self conscious smile, and his arms gave a strange sort of twitch outwards, hands hovering uncertainly at his sides as if he wasn’t sure what to do with them.
You took pity on him and hugged him, which he gladly returned.
So far, most of your touches had been unconscious, unconsidered, or instinctive. This time, you made a conscious decision to kiss him on the cheek. It was platonic enough, but that didn’t stop Five’s grip almost imperceptibly tightening around your upper arm as shivers ran down his spine.
The four of you entered the living room, where you were finally introduced to the people you’d seen last night. Viktor and his girlfriend Annabelle, visiting for Christmas for the first time; Klaus all smiles in his sequins; and Lila and Diego, joined at the hip.
“You’ve been cooking with him?” you said to Five in an undertone the moment you got an opportunity, “That’s sweet.”
One corner of Five’s mouth rose in his lopsided smile.
“He’s a surprisingly good cook, actually. Taught me a thing or two.”
“I’m glad for you.”
“What are you two whispering about?” asked Lila, honing in on an interesting dynamic with the precision of a sniper.
Five turned to her with the air of a father holding his patience with a bratty child.
“Just making a pact to grin and bear it when one of you idiots inevitably suggests Charades after dinner.”
“Ooh! Charades!” Lila said, boisterously, “Yeah, great idea!”
“Uh. Charades?” grumbled Diego.
“Shut up, Diego,” she scolded, slapping him on the arm, “don’t be a killjoy.”
The day progressed as most family Christmases do: there was Christmas meal in which the potatoes were slightly overcooked (Five’s fault), little squabbles breaking out over the gravy, (Diego and Luther’s fault), and one serving platter broken in the production-line of dishwashing (a mortified Annabelle’s fault).
Afterwards you all retired back to the living room and, while Viktor piled up the fire and the family began to chat, someone mentioned drinks.
“I brought some stuff with me from Maggie’s,” you said, eagerly, “I thought I could say thank you for inviting me by making a few cocktails, if you’d like that?”
“You sure?” asked Luther, looking at you doubtfully, “I don’t want you to feel like you’re at work.”
“I’d love to actually,” you said, earnestly, “mixology never feels like work to me.”
You caught Five’s eye, but continued speaking as if to Luther.
“And I’m taking a step back in the New Year anyway. I’ve asked Robbie to manage the place for me.”
“Really?” Sloane asked, surprised, as you went to grab your supplies from the entrance hall.
“Mm-hm,” you said, re-entering the room, “It’s long overdue. Robbie’s always wanted to manage, and I need to reevaluate what I want in life.”
“Good for you,” said Five, quietly.
You couldn’t help but look at him then. His approval felt good. Very good.
“I wanted to try out a recipe idea I had.” you said, again deliberately addressing anyone but Five, “Tell me what you think: it’s whisky, cinnamon, maple syrup, egg white, and a dash of lemon.”
You turned to catch Five’s eye as you finished, eyes practically sparkling with mischief:
“I call it the Ebenezer Splooge.”
There was a polite chuckle around the room, and Five’s face worked very hard not to draw attention to himself. There was a blush high on his cheek, and his mouth gave a violent twitch.
“Hence the egg white?” he asked, careful to keep his voice steady.
“You’re a quick learner,” you replied.
Five bit his lip, the line bringing back the memories you’d deliberately evoked; that night back in March when you turned his drunk ass down. It hit something inside him.
Up until last night, he’d been content with masochism: drinking in your little touches whenever he could get them, enjoying the flirting and quietly dying inside every time you so much as poured a drink with that elegant poise of yours.
He couldn’t do it anymore, not when he knew what it was to hold you in his arms, to feel your lips on his skin, to be party to your grief and revelations. It was better to look to love that he could have rather than pining after yours. It felt so near sometimes, yet, whenever he reached for it, it was inaccessible.
The promised game of charades came and went. The booze flowed, and the atmosphere got livelier. It was all a whirl of caterwauled Christmas songs, champagne, and late-night turkey sandwiches.
They were a friendly group, and it felt good to be among them. This was what Christmas was supposed to be, spending time with people who made you feel loved and welcome.
By this stage, all of you had been dancing, and you flopped down on the couch beside Five, a stitch in your side.
“I’m going to have to go to bed,” you said, grinning at him, “Klaus is going to tire me out!”
“He has that effect.” Five remarked, glancing fondly at his brother, “Want me to show you to a guest room?”
“Yes please.”
You said your goodnights, and when you were both out of earshot in the entrance hall, Luther turned to Sloane:
“I bet you fifty dollars Five doesn’t come back downstairs.”
“It’s about time,” Sloane replied, grinning, “he’s been hung up on her for months.”
“How about you and I go upstairs?” he said, with a sly smile.
“Soon, sugarplum,” she promised, and kissed him gently.
“So you’re taking a step back from Maggie’s?” Five said, as you mounted the stairs together.
“Yeah,” you said, with a gentle smile, “I woke up this morning and I just knew. I don’t want to sell the bar, but I don’t want to spend my life chained to it either.”
“So what’s your plan now?”
“The plan is no plan,” you beamed, “I’m just going to build my bridges, follow my heart, have some fun, and see where it leads. I’ve got some catching up to do.”
Five was silent for a few moments.
“And where’s your heart leading you now?” he asked, uncertainly.
“No idea. I guess we’ll see.”
He stopped and opened a nearby door.
“Does this room work for you?” he asked, casting an eye around to check its suitability.
“Are you in love with me?”
He blinked once at the unexpected question, and then answered without hesitation or preamble, as if he was simply giving you the time.
“Yes.”
Your arms, legs and sex tingled with the admission.
This was it. You were done with self denial and done with pushing people away. Five was everything you wanted right now, and you wanted to pull him as close as two people could be.
“Then spend the night with me.”
His mouth fell open, and he let out one or two disbelieving breaths. You took each of his elbows and pulled him closer to you.
“This is…unexpected,” he said, and swallowed.
Your eyes immediately flew appreciatively to his Adam's apple bobbing in his throat, and when you raised your hand to touch his face, you were surprised to see a hard expression there.
“I don’t want to be a one night thing for you.”
“You won’t be.”
“I don’t believe you.” he replied, resentfully, “You just said that your plan is ‘no plan’. You’re just throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what sticks. I’m not going to-”
You silenced him with a kiss, pulling him to you by the collar. It was one you’d been holding back for as long as he had, and when your lips connected with his, you felt your body wanting to melt, permeate his skin and sink into him.
You could taste his last scotch on his lips, you could smell that maddening cologne.
But he took you by the upper arms and pushed you away, firmly.
“Five,” you pleaded, “Five, please. Please.”
“No. I’m not going to be some experiment for you. I’ve wanted you for too long to just be some no strings fuck. I’m done.”
“Do you know how long I’ve wanted you?” you pleaded, shaking him slightly by the front of his sweater, “Pretty much since you first came into Maggie’s!”
There was a needy, beseeching tone in your voice. It would have embarrassed you before, but now it just felt good to wear your heart on your sleeve. He opened his mouth to object, but you spoke over him:
“I’ve been hiding from my feelings for years: hiding from Grandma dying, hiding from how I feel about you, and I’m done hiding!”
Five looked down at you, at your pleading face.
To think you were literally begging him for sex - the stuff of his wildest fantasies - and he was turning you down.
He bit his lip again and looked up at the ceiling, away from you, and tried to think.
This didn’t help quell your desire, finally released from its bounds after years of repression and cold showers. His neck looked unbelievable, all stretched and arched that way, and it took some restraint not to dive forward and taste his skin.
“God, Five. I need you.”
He let out a little growl of frustration.
“No. I need to know we have a chance at a future!”
The fragile note in his voice broke through your fever. Guiltily, you loosed your hold on his sweater and backed off.
You closed your eyes for a second or two, and then spoke again:
“Okay. I understand. I’m sorry I kissed you like that.”
“It’s fine,” he croaked, sounding far away.
You put a hand on the spare bedroom door frame, signalling your intent to leave him alone.
“I’m going to go to bed, but let’s talk in a few days, okay?”
He nodded, opened his mouth to speak, and then closed it again.
“Maybe we’ll go for dinner?” you added, tentatively, “We can take it slow. You’re worth the wait.”
He flushed at this, and his fingers moved restlessly at his sides.
You gave him an understanding smile, and then, echoing his leavetaking of the previous evening, you took one of his hands, raised it to your lips, and gave two delicate kisses to the backs of those fingers.
“Goodnight,” you said, tenderly, “Thanks for today. And last night. Thanks for everything.”
With that, you retreated into the bedroom.
But before you could close the door, he was over the threshold.
“I won’t last long,” he said, voice low.
And, before you could process what he meant, he kicked the door closed behind him with a bang, pulled his sweater over his head and cast it away from him.
If his voice smoldered, his eyes were aflame; being the object that gaze felt like being scalded by hot honey. It seared your skin.
With a rush from your toes upwards, you threw yourself at him, sending him falling back against the door with another loud bang.
His tongue was in your mouth: plunging, searching, tasting; teeth clashing against yours with the urgency of desire. You moaned into his mouth and sagged, weak with the feel of it, and he grunted in displeasure. His hand came to the back of your head and held you fast, pressing your face harder against his.
Though you initiated the kiss, though it was you pressing him against the door, though it was you begging for this only a few moments prior, it was his passion that won out, leaving you wilting in his arms, eyes helplessly closed.
At last he came up for air, loosening his hold on you and breathing hard.
He looked too full of lust for words, eyes were darting all over you, teeth exposed. You could relate, your pussy aching like a tuning fork struck too hard.
You dropped immediately to your knees, hands coming up to fumble at his waistband.
He groaned in anticipation, head hitting the door as he slumped back against it, the mere prospect of being sucked almost undoing him.
“You shouldn’t -” he gasped, sounding a little embarrassed, even through the lust-induced haze. “I’ll come. It’s been a long time, I’m already-”
But he gasped again when you took him, hard and heavy, into your hand. It was clear that he hadn’t been exaggerating; his white underwear and pink cockhead were already moist with leaked arousal.
His cock was thick, uncut, and long enough to exceed your grip by half. His shaft was curved and sculptural like his forearms; veins standing out attractively. It twitched invitingly in your hand and, as a little more precome dripped from the slit, you felt yourself gush into your panties.
“I want to taste you,” you said, looking up at him.
“And I want to give you a good time,” he said, fretfully.
“You will.” you smirked, lips an inch away from his tip.
He answered only with another sound, and when you tasted him, he hissed, and bucked his hips immediately into your mouth.
“I’m sorry,” he whimpered, “it’s hard to control.”
You only smiled and took him back into your mouth, tasting the salt of his arousal, the delicate musk of his cock, and yet drinking in his whines more greedily than either.
“Oh fuck,” he choked.
He was perfect: sensitive and desperate. He writhed, cursed, tensed, and whimpered: one fist contracting in your hair and the other against the door handle as he fought fiercely against the need to come.
You took pity on him then, content with having had him in your mouth for the few moments he could manage.
“You’re going to kill me,” he said, breathlessly.
You grinned up at him.
“Then eat my pussy and calm down.”
His cock twitched, and he gave another small cry.
“That didn’t help!” he yelped, agonized.
You chuckled mischievously and stood, just he started to unbutton his shirt, kicking the pants and underwear off from around his ankles.
Even this momentary delay to getting some part of your body back on some part of his was too much, and you cast your dress away as roughly as Five had his sweater. Meanwhile, he was wriggling out of his shirt, swearing as his wrists caught in the cuffs. Your fingers shook as you unclasped your bra and, as you struggled, his eyes fed on you.
“Can I take off your panties?” he asked.
No sooner had you answered in the affirmative, finally succeeding in removing the cursed bra, Five was on his own knees, shimmying your panties down your legs, and helping you to step out of them.
“Against the wall,” he growled, cock protruding invitingly between his legs and bobbing with his movement.
No sooner had you obeyed than his mouth was inches away from your pussy, helping one leg up onto his shoulder to give him better access.
He looked at you for a moment, fascinated.
“Holy shit,” he said, awed, “you’re so wet.”
“I’ve been wet since the hallway!” you breathed.
With that same expression of fascination, he dragged a single finger between your labia, from your hole all the way to your clit, collecting your juices, and then put it in his mouth.
He let out a low moan as he sucked his finger clean, one hand darting lower to gently roll his foreskin back and forth.
He looked up at you with a cocky grin at the effect he’d already had on you, the appearance of even more thick fluid evidence enough that you liked what you saw.
He leaned forward, nose less than an inch away from you, and lingered there.
“Please!” you said, desperately.
“Call this payback the Ebenezer Splooge,” he said, playfully.
“No! Please!”
He took another, momentary pause, and then mused:
“You do sound good when you beg.”
His tongue protruded, his breath hot and torturous against your inflamed, excited pussy… and then he paused there, tongue tip millimeters from your clit.
Just as one of your hands came to urge him forward by means of his hair, he gave your clit two or three experimental licks.
You squeaked, hand finding a grip in his hair anyway, and he dragged his tongue deliberately up and down.
“Oh fff-fuck.”
He hummed delightedly against you, and started to eat you out in earnest, kissing your labia, slipping his tongue inside you, and alternating between nudging your clit and sucking on it.
You urged him on, trying hard not to moan too loudly, stroking his thick hair, and trying hard not to surrender too much of your weight to the wall as your supporting leg went weak.
His face wormed its way further between your thighs, and his mouth closed around your clit, lips and tongue at work against you, eating you like a ripe fig; sucking your juices down his throat with a snarling, feral sound.
As it turned out, Five didn’t need to worry about his lack of stamina: he might not last long, but neither did you. With only a few minutes of concerted licking, tongue swiping side to side, he only had to introduce a finger for you to keen, shout, and then come.
You flailed and cursed as the pleasure slammed through you like a wave smashing you against the rocks. It floored you, and then that hot-honey was back, engulfing all your senses in a thick, shimmering molasses haze.
As the feeling subsided, Five slowed his licks, kissing your pussy lips and easing you out of the orgasm with increasingly gentle attentions, mercifully avoiding your over-sensitive clit.
When your breathing was back to normal, you unhooked your leg from his shoulder, and he looked up at you, face wet with your juices.
“Good?”
You didn’t need to answer him, your fucked-out haze of an expression was enough.
He smirked and stood so that you were on a level once more. He kissed you deeply, hands coming to cup and fondle each of your asscheeks and holding you up as you slumped bonelessly against him.
“We need a condom.” you said, breathlessly.
“Right,” he agreed, distractedly, setting you on your feet and bending to locate his wallet from his pants pocket.
“Still in date,” he said, sounding slightly surprised as his trembling fingers located the rubber and opened the package, “I haven’t needed one in a while.”
“You can’t get STDs from the cable porn ladies,” you quipped.
“Shut up,” he smiled, rolling the condom down his shaft and leading you to the bed.
He sat down on its edge and looked up at you.
Ride me,” he said huskily, “I promise I won’t take long.”
Though already exhausted from your orgasm, the need to have him inside you overwhelmed it, and you nodded. He guided you onto his lap facing him, your thighs around his waist and his arms around your own.
As wet as you were, it was still a slow, tight slide down onto his cock. Five buried his head between your breasts with a strangled moan at the sensation, intense even through the condom. When you started to ride him, he was beside himself in no time at all, feet planting on the floor and pushing helplessly up and into you.
It felt good; full and intimate with your arms wrapped around each other, eyes and mouths occasionally locked as you thrust into one another, meeting the other’s body and pushing as deep as you could go.
It was his face that made your nipples harden, the feel of his strong, lithe body between your thighs that made you bite your lip, and his pelvis moving against yours that made you bend to finally taste his neck.
“Fuck,” he said, roughly, “Gonna come already. Been too long - thinking about you - can’t believe we’re - oh sh-iii-t!”
He came with a yell, surging upwards in the grip of his orgasm, head thrashing and arms tightening reflexively around you. His thrusts became disorganised, messy and uncontrolled, eyes screwed up, teeth gnashing against the air, and neck once more arching in that delicious way.
He collapsed onto the bed, panting, and you leaned forward to give him a final kiss before climbing off him and wriggling into bed beside him.
You stroked his hair idly as he came down from the high, regaining his breath and dealing with the condom. For a few moments afterwards, he just stared at the ceiling.
“That was amazing,” you said.
“Yeah,” he replied, distractedly.
“All okay?”
“Yes,” he said, sitting up but not turning to face you, “I’m gonna go get cleaned up, but I’ll be back, okay?”
Sitting in his pajamas on his own bed, Five plucked another hair and inserted it into the briefcase on his lap.
He’d get over you. If that really was a quick fuck while you rediscovered yourself, then that would suck, but he could face it and survive. What he couldn’t face was becoming that lonely man with the child-molester mustache.
He had to know that it wasn’t inevitable. Because if that wasn’t inevitable, then it proved that the power really was still in his hands.
And maybe it even proved that he had a chance to make you love him back.
He set the briefcase to the same date as last night, braced through the static of time travel, and then immediately regretted not putting on shoes.
Snow was soaking through his socks.
“Great,” he grumbled.
He was standing in the front yard of a little house, alone on a snowy country road, and a quick glance at the briefcase proved to him that it was the same night as before: Christmas Eve, ten years from the present.
It was different, that was for sure.
He hurried as quickly as possible off the snow and onto its covered doorstep, where the light from the front window drew him to it. With a strange sense of deja vu (shouldn't he be standing beside an azelea?), he looked through.
There was a small but cozy living room, a lit wood fire, a Christmas tree with wrapped gifts beneath, and himself.
He was wearing the same sweater Klaus got him for this Christmas, his socked feet up on the coffee table and a book in his hand, reading contentedly. Instead of the pedo ’stache, he sported only a little scruff around his jaw.
It was all he needed to see, and Five let out a deep sigh of relief.
Alone he might be, but with that many presents beneath the tree, he at least had family coming.
It was almost perfect, he thought, as he set up the briefcase for the return journey.
But then something caught the periphery of his vision.
There you were, entering the room and handing him what had to be a glass of Ebenezer Splooge, garnished with a twist of orange zest.
“Hi,” he whispered, climbing back into the guest bed beside you.
“Hey,” you replied, sleepily, shuffling up beside him and laying your head on his shoulder.
For a few moments, he just enjoyed the warmth from inside and out.
“Thank you for tonight,” he whispered, “that was amazing.”
“It was a long time coming,” you mumbled, “and when we wake up, we’re doing it again.”
“Good,” he said, breathing in the smell of your hair.
His future was all here in the here and now: his family downstairs, you held here in his arms, and his resolution to deserve it all by being good to you all.
And he’d do it too. He’d be better than his word. He’d be as good a friend, as good a brother, and as good a man as he could. Perhaps his siblings might laugh to see the change in him - all loved up and cheerful for once - but he found he didn’t care. His heart sang: and that was quite enough for him.
As he drifted off to sleep, the woman he loved in his arms, he barely heard your sweet voice as it observed:
“Your feet are fucking freezing!”

A/N: Did you think I was ending this without smut? Have you met me? Thank you for all your lovely comments and reblogs throughout this fic and all my others this year. They really do make the difference and constitute roughly 80% of my self esteem. Happy Christmas to all who celebrate, and here's to a better 2025, (slim hope, but bring on the revolution etc etc).

may I request miss🙋🏻♀️ some high nsfw katsuki
warnings for nsfw, p star! katsuki, no quirk college au, consumption of weed n alc, masturbation, fem! reader, it’s a cliffhanger i’m sorry i don’t have the brain rn
katsuki bakugo would become a porn star entirely on accident.
the topic would surge from time to time in his friend group, mostly as a joke. because "gosh, bakugo! you have the body of a porn star! you sure you're not on some secret account we don't know about?" and it really got to him. what does a porn star body look like, anyway? it's a mystery to him, as he pulls out his phone on incognito and...
he's in disbelief. he's actually looking up porn. never in his life would katsuki bakugo ever think of doing so. katsuki feels like he'd be less guilty if he's not sober whatsoever, so he's searching multiple accounts on his twitter throwaway with one hand as the other holds a small joint. it's not long before his eyes are completely red, pants and boxers slid down to his ankles, and videos recommended by kaminari going on auto-play.
but he's not satisfied, not one bit. he stopped caring for physique videos ago, he's now entertained by the poor technique. with blurry vision, he reads the replies and quote tweets, expressing their inconformities. comments like "god, her moans sound so fake", or "can't he stroke it slowly? i want it to last" make his mind run. katsuki bakugo was lost in the world of constructive criticism, while his ego began to chew at him.
he can do better than those stupid extras, right?
of fucking course. he's katsuki bakugo. but he's not gonna fucking do it. nope. never.
katsuki bakugo is a lightweight. he feels like he's sitting on the moon instead of his couch as he's gulping down some cheap rum his friends bought the week prior. and soon enough, his camera app is open, cock fully on display, and he's stroking it for a few good minutes. and the camera catches everything—how his cock twitches every time his strokes get slower, how the tip was reddish and filled with precum from the very beginning, his heavenly moans, his white-knuckled grip, and how his knees shake as he comes undone and stains his red, velvet couch.
and he has the video on twitter as a draft, half written caption and all. katsuki needs to visualize how it would look like if he posted. until he does. his finger slips, and the video and half caption are posted. at first, katsuki is mortified and doesn’t know what to do, until he sees a person liking and commenting. he decides to leave it up until he sobers up.
twelve hours and a huge hangover later, user 00179359027728kb is a twitter porn sensation.
thousands of users express their love for him, asking and demanding for more videos, as well as wishing to be his partner in crime. when katsuki realizes he can monetize this, he suddenly has dollar signs for eyes. a few videos later and katsuki bakugo is famous.
so famous, in fact, that one of your friends is in love with him, despite only seeing the lower half of his face. she raves about him to you on the daily, and as a result you find yourself creating a throwaway to watch his videos, and damn—katsuki is fucking sensational. he’s an icon, and you wish he were in your bed right then and there.
but he’s quickly discarded by your own brain as you get ready for an outing. it’s a nice, weekend night, and your friends are ready to go clubbing. once you get there it’s… okay, you suppose. dim lighting, people stuffed like sardines in a can, and the occasional couple eating their faces in the corner. you know the many cocktails you had are catching up to you once you accidentally bump into a person, and as you turn to apologize, you’re stunned.
“y’should watch where you’re going.”
“i’m so sorry, i didn’t see y—wait—are you that kb guy from twitter?”
he’s like a deer in headlights. “…that depends. who’s askin’”
“name’s y/n” you giggle, “i know you cause i have a friend who’s nuts for you.”
you officially pique katsuki‘s interest. his eyebrow rises as he smirks, “oh, is she?” he tilts his head to the side, “what about you, sweets? you watch me too?”
shyly, you nod. his smirk gets bigger as he steps closer, “she here? i don’t really do pictures, though.”
“do you do videos?”
liquid courage. it would cost you a lot to even say that sober, and you blame your drunken state for your boldness. katsuki bakugo has that fiery look in his eye as he laughs. “sure i do, sweets. you wanna be the first model for my page or is it just to spite yer friend?”
first?
only model is your goal. you’re determined to make that happen.
“bathroom? in 5?”
“ya got it, captain.”

———————————————————————
It had been a little over six years now. Six years of being stuck in a confusing maze of timelines and once again, Five was all alone.
At least in the first apocalypse, he found comfort in Delores. But down here, his only company was the rats.
Five was desperate. He wanted to go home, to see his family again, try and stop yet another apocalypse. He wasn’t going to give up, that wasn’t the kind of person he was.
But this place was driving him crazy. He couldn’t focus in here. He wanted a shower, clean clothes, a regular source of clean water and good food. He remembered a timeline he visited that looked peaceful, a place he could relax and feel safe to figure out a way back.
He picked himself up off the ground. His body aching and joints creaking. He may have a twenty-four year old’s body, but it sure felt like his body finally caught up to his age.
Five groaned as he stretched, feeling his sore muscles pull and his vertebrae clicking into place. Damn that felt good.
When the train came to a stop at his station and the doors slowly opened, he stepped on board and collapsed on the nearest seat. He was so hungry and dehydrated that he barely had any energy. He hoped it wouldn’t be long before he could get to the timeline he wanted.
It took about twenty minutes for Five to get to the right timeline, and another seven to exit the station. He was so exhausted that the stairs nearly made him pass out. He knew exactly where he was headed and he couldn’t wait to get there.
When he saw the little cottage far in the distance, he felt a burst of energy. He had been dragging himself along for thirty minutes and the knowledge of having good food and fresh water helped him find the strength to continue.
The gate to the property was open, its latch broken. Five made his way to the greenhouse as it was the closest thing and he knew there were strawberries inside from his last visit.
He opened the door, a burst of warm humid air hit him immediately as he stepped inside leaving the door ajar. He made a beeline for the plants and started picking and eating as many ripe strawberries as he could. They were so sweet and the juice ran down his chin.
He was busy stuffing his face when he heard the familiar cock of a gun causing him to freeze in place.
He slowly turned around, one hand frozen in place holding a strawberry near his face, his mouth full of the fruit. The first thing he noticed was the twin barrels of a shotgun a few feet away pointed directly at his head.
Then his eyes moved down to see whoever was holding the gun, was wearing a beautiful dress that stopped right above the person’s knees.
“What are you doing here?” A stern voice spoke out. The gun was obscuring their face but he could make out the long hair that framed it.
“I’m not going to ask again.” They readjusted the gun as a warning when he took too long to answer.
Five dropped the strawberries he was holding and held his hands up. He roughly swallowed what was in his mouth and tried to speak.
“I’m sorry. I don’t mean any harm. I’ve been lost for a long time and I’m starving. I didn’t know anyone lived here.” He explained in a soft voice, trying not to startle the owner.
The gun faltered slightly before it was lowered slightly. A pair of eyes stared back at him with an unreadable look.
The person sighed and finally lowered the gun fully, the click of the safety being turned on being heard through the quiet greenhouse.
Five was able to see them fully now, a woman was stood blocking the entrance, and she looked beautiful.
“Come on, you look rough. I got some proper food inside and some clean clothes.” You gestured for him to follow you as you stepped out of the greenhouse.
Five eagerly followed you out, excited to finally eat something proper and get clean. You closed the door behind him and started towards the cottage a few feet away.
A few chickens roamed around the property, most running out of the way as you two walked but there was one or two you had to nudge out of the way with the barrel of the shotgun. You did it with such care and gentleness that you must’ve had to do it many times before.
You opened the wooden door to the cottage and held it open, gesturing for him to go in first. He thanked you as he passed you and took in his surroundings.
The inside was cute. It was small but not cramped, more…cozy. Plenty of room for two people to be comfortable.
You closed the door behind you and propped the shot gun against the wall. You startled Five, causing him to jump a bit when you accidentally clapped your hands together when brushing them off against each other.
“I’m sure you’d like to take a bath quickly. But everything’s pretty old school around here so it will take me a while to get enough water and warm it up. But I’ve got some soup simmering right now.” You put your hands on your hips as you looked him up and down.
“Thank you. Anything is perfect.” Five knew he looked (and smelled) bad. He hasn’t been able to do anything properly for six years and he was grateful for whatever you could provide.
You nodded, feeling weird having a man around after being alone for so long. You gestured for him to take a seat at the dining table as you walked to the kitchen and grabbed a bowl, ladling some of the soup into it. You placed the bowl down in front of him and grabbed some slices of sourdough bread you had made fresh that day and placed it in front of him as well as a spoon.
Five was nearly drooling at the steaming bowl of soup in front of him along with the fresh bread. You chuckled silently to yourself when you noticed his expression.
“It’s potato and leek and the bread is sourdough, made it today. I’m going to go get a bath ready for you, help yourself to seconds if you’d like, there’s plenty left.” You patted his shoulder before you left towards the bathroom.
“Thank you.” He called as you left and dug in. He moaned as the creamy and smooth soup slid down his throat so easily and warmed him up from the inside. He was quick to dip a piece of the bread into the soup and scarfing it down. He hasn’t had a proper meal in years so he couldn’t control himself.
It was about twenty five minutes later when he wandered into the bathroom. He had helped himself to seconds like you said and he also washed his dishes. He didn’t want to be any more of a burden than he already felt.
The bathroom was small. There was a big long metal tub sat on the side of the room, a wooden shelving unit with potted plants on the top few shelves and some different soaps on the lower shelves with in reach of the tub. On the opposite side of the small room was a metal basin full of charcoal that was glowing orange.
There was a window a few feet above the tub that was slightly open for ventilation, there was a door that lead to the outside that was wide open. As Five was busy observing his surroundings, you walked in from the open door. A pole was over your shoulders, two big metal buckets full of water on either side.
“Oh…hello…” You were startled at the sight of him but you couldn’t let it stop you cause the buckets were starting to feel heavier by the minute. You bent down at the knees and slid the pole off your shoulders, causing the buckets to hit the ground with a thump making some water splash out onto the concrete floor.
“I..uh…the soup was really good, thank you.” Five shuffled awkwardly and scratched the back of his neck. He was impressed by your strength, and watching you do it in a dress was just the cherry on top. He was used to seeing strong women due to his time in the Commission, but none of them looked as soft and feminine as you did. It was clear you were a tough individual and he liked it.
“No problem.” You lifted the buckets up and set them in the pile of lit charcoal and used a stick to move the charcoal around so it surrounded the buckets. “Sorry, I don’t have running water. I’ve gotten used taking cold baths, usually only heating it in the winter but I thought you’d appreciate a warm bath more.” You brushed your hands off and placed them on your hips.
“You don’t have to go through all this trouble for me.” Five felt awkward, he’d never had anyone care about him this much and he was slowly starting to realize how much he craved a simple life like this.
You waved him off with a scoff. “Just gaining some good karma points.” You joked. You reached in the cabinet that the container of charcoal was sat on top of and grabbed some big fluffy towels out and set them on the middle shelf near the tub.
As you checked on the temperature of the water, you explained to Five that all the soap and shampoo was homemade. Despite living in the middle of no where near a forest, you had a neighbour that you regularly trade with. She was an older lady that grew Beehive Ginger, a plant that produced a natural liquid shampoo. You were able to make your own bars of soap pretty easily with the lye you also made. You mostly had everything you needed out here but it didn’t help to build connections with those near by.
As you picked up one of the buckets, holding the bottom with a cloth you picked up earlier and poured it into the bath, Five was thinking to himself how much he wanted a life like this, he hoped he could when he got back to his family and figured out how to stop the Cleanse, but it was tempting to stay here with you.
You poured the second bucket into the tub, it didn’t fill it completely but it was full enough, it would’ve cooled down by the time she was able to grab more water and heat it up anyway and Five was grateful for any amount of water. You scooped up some of the smouldering coals with the bucket and dumped them into the water.
Five gave you a weird look and you let out a breathy laugh. “It will keep the water warm longer. The water put it out and cooled it enough where it won’t burn you, plus, charcoal ash is good for your skin. Helps bring out toxins and such.”
Five nodded and thanked you again. You left to go grab him some extra clothes you said you had lying around and he finally took the opportunity to strip out of his dirty clothing. He wasn’t sure where to put the clothes so he left them in a pile on the floor. When he was fully nude he climbed into the tub and sat down. He groaned when the warm water raised around him. It reached just above his belly button and he took a moment to just sit there and enjoy the warmth. Not wanting the water to get cold, he grabbed a small pitcher that was on one of the shelves next to the various soaps. He scooped up some water and poured it over his head, relishing in the warmth and how it felt as some of the dirt washed right off.
You walked into the bathroom, a folded up shirt, jeans, and a pair of briefs in your arms. You paused when you realized he was in the tub already, you couldn’t blame him, you’d want to clean off as soon as possible if you looked as bad as he did. The tub was high enough where you couldn’t see anything below his shoulders from where you stood.
“Sorry.” You laughed awkwardly. “I’m used to not having to knock. Here, got you some clean clothes. They should fit.” You placed them down on a stool nearby and noticed you hadn’t closed the door to the outside and walked over and latched it shut. “Sorry to get rid of the view but sometimes the goats get too curious and sneak their way in and that usually brings in the chickens.” You laughed.
Five smiled with a huff. “Thank you, again.”
“Stop it. No more of that.” You huffed. “I’ll be around. Just shout if you need something.” You smiled and gathered up his dirty clothing and left.
——————————————————————
An hour or so later, you had his original clothes all washed and hung up outside to dry in the sun.
You were sat at the dining room table, drinking some tea thinking about everything that’s happened so far.
Five entered the dining room and smiled. He opened his mouth to say something before you cut him off. “If you try and thank me one more time I’m going to kick you out.” You semi joked.
He silently laughed and shook his head. “Noted.” He pulled out a chair and sat adjacent to you. “I was actually going to say, I didn’t know how to empty the bath so I just left it.”
You waved your hand. “Don’t worry about it, I’ll take care of it later. Tea?” You gestured to the kettle sitting on the stove.
“I’m more of a coffee guy.” He sheepishly admitted.
“Oh, I’ve got some of that.” You stood up and grabbed the container of instant coffee and poured some into a mug and poured the hot water from the kettle into it and stirred it around. You placed the mug in front of him and sat back in your seat. You made it so quickly it was as if you’ve done it many times before. “Sorry it’s only instant. Coffee is kinda hard to get out here so we’d have to go to the nearest town for it which is about two hours away.”
“I’m grateful to be having any coffee at all. I haven’t had any for twelve years.” He picked up his mug and took a sip. It was the perfect strength, slightly bitter but it wasn’t the worst he’s ever had.
“Oh! I forgot to ask if you want cream or sugar with that.” You sounded concerned but didn’t really make a move to get up.
“Oh no, that’s alright. I take it black. This is great.” Five reassured.
“How are the clothes? They comfortable?” You asked as you sipped your tea.
“Great, yeah. They fit perfectly.” A little too perfectly to be honest.
“That’s good. I cleaned your other clothes, they’re outside right now hanging up.”
You both let a comfortable silence go through for a few minutes before you gasped. “Oh my god…I just realized I never asked for your name.” You laughed.
He smiled after taking a sip of his coffee. “It’s…Five.” He hesitated, not sure on if he should tell you his real name but deciding it was the least he could do.
“Five? Like the number?” You questioned.
“It’s…a long story.” He sheepishly replied.
“I got nothing but time…but I won’t make you talk about something you don’t want to.” He was grateful for that. “I’m Y/N by the way.”
He repeated your name. He liked the sound of it. “Do you live alone? I find it odd that a woman who I’ve only seen wear a dress so far has men’s clothes.”
“I….I had a husband.” You looked away.
“Oh..I’m sorry. I didn’t see a ring so I just assumed…” he trailed off when you grabbed the thin chain around your neck and pulled it out from the top of your dress. A simple metal ring hanging off the edge.
“Hard to do any work around here when you’re worrying about keeping a ring on your finger. Plus I’ve never been one for wearing rings. He made it himself out of some scrap metal he had lying around.” You explained as you played with the ring. “We got married officially down at the courthouse. No wedding though. We were never much for big events like that and we didn’t really have anyone to invite anyway.” Tears pricked at your eyes as you thought back to it all.
“If I may ask, what happened?” Five straightened up in his chair, feeling sorry for you.
“He went out one day to check the traps we have out in the woods…never came back. I went looking for him for months but I never found him. He wasn’t the kind of man to just leave. He loved it here. So I assumed something got him.” You sniffed and wiped your eyes. “Sorry…”
“No no it’s alright. That sounds awful. I’m sorry that happened.” He reached out and laid a hand on yours that was on the table. It was out of character for him, usually he wasn’t good at comforting others, but he felt like he needed to. Something drew him to you.
You smiled weakly. “It’s been three years. You learn to cope and move on quickly. Especially with this kind of life. You don’t get to mope around, there’s always stuff to do here so you have to work through it.”
“It must’ve been hard, having to do everything yourself after having someone else to split the chores with.”
“It was. But you get used to it. You sorta look like him too. The long hair and eyes, they’re just like his.” You smiled. “Anyway…enough about me. You can stay as long as you’d like. I’ve only got one bedroom but the couch is surprisingly comfortable. I’ve taken many naps on it. Sorry I can’t offer you something better.”
Five smiled. “Anything is better than what I’ve been sleeping on for the past six years.”
——————————————————————
Five originally planned on staying for a few days. But a few days turned into a few weeks, which then turned into a few months.
He hadn’t given up on finding a way home but he got a little…distracted. He helped you out around the house and small farm you had. You taught him how to do a lot of the more labour intensive tasks and over time you two grew closer.
You were in the greenhouse, collecting some of the strawberries to make jam later when Five appeared in the doorway, a watering can in his hand. He was wearing a green knitted sweater that used to be your husband’s favourite. He paused for a second to admire you and smiled to himself and busied himself with watering the plants.
You glanced over and smirked to yourself and picked one of the smaller strawberries and threw it at him. He tried to hold back a smile at your antics when he got hit with another strawberry, and then another, and another. Finally, he turned to you.
“You’re not going to have enough to make jam if you keep throwing them at me.” He smiled gently at you.
“Ah, they’re just the shitty ones I would’ve fed to the chickens. I think I have enough now anyway.” You took a few steps towards him before you stepped on the handle of a trowel that was left on the ground. It caused you to slip and you dropped the basket of strawberries in shock, you prepared to catch yourself when Five caught you just in time.
You both made eye contact. You felt a shiver go down your spine at seeing eyes that looked so similar to your late husbands. You felt yourself get lost in them the longer you looked and Five felt the same.
The last person he ever loved was Delores, and she wasn’t even real but he loved her all the same. But you made him feel the same way, only a thousand times more. He had started to fall for you over the months of being alone together.
He glanced down at your parted lips, silently asking for permission. You sucked in a small breath and looked down at his. He slowly leaned in, tilting his head slightly before closing his eyes and softly kissing you. When you parted you looked at each other again before Five whispered.
“Was that weird?”
“No…but that’s what makes it weird.” You replied.
At that, Five cupped the back of your neck and pulled you closer, bringing your lips back to his. This time the kiss was more passionate and loving. You held onto his shoulders, gripping his sweater.
You slowly dragged your kisses down his jaw right to a specific spot on his neck and harshly sucked. Five threw his head back and moaned lightly. He hadn’t been given a hickey before but it felt so good. After a few seconds you pulled away and admired the bruise starting to form.
You pulled away from him and walked towards the greenhouse door. He looked at you in confusion, wondering if he did something wrong or if you were just toying with him when you turned around to look at him and leaned against the doorframe.
“You coming?” You smirked with a look in your eyes.
He grinned and stalked towards you with a predatory look on his face. You giggled and took off towards the house with him chasing behind you.
——————————————————————
Five had been with you for six months now. He has since graduated from sleeping on the couch to sharing your bed.
He has been everything you could ask for. Attentive, loving, patient, caring, hard working, etc. He was perfect in your eyes.
You were once again in the greenhouse. It was your favourite place after all. You were sat on a crate, using some shears to tidy up some flowers for the small bouquet you were putting together.
Five walked in carrying two rabbits. “Oh wow look at that. Two this time.” You smiled.
“All because of your traps.” He winked and kneeled in front of you.
“Such a flatterer.” You smirked as you put down the shears and placed the last flower with the rest. “What are you hiding?” You inquired with a raised eyebrow.
“What do you mean?” He asked, trying hard to hide his smile.
“I know you. You got that look.”
“What look?”
“That guilty ‘I have a secret’ look!” You laughed.
“I have no such look.” He bit his lip holding back his smile.
“Whatever.” You rolled your eyes with a grin.
“Ok ok you’re twisting my arm.” He reaches into his jacket pocket and pulls something out. “Here.” He holds it out to you.
You gently take it from him and notice it’s a bracelet made of metal. It’s beautifully twisted together making a unique piece of art. “Oh…Five, this is beautiful. Where did you get this?”
“I made it. Used the scrap metal I found lying around.” He looked up at you.
“I love it.” You looked up from admiring the bracelet into his eyes.
“I aim to please.” He looked at you full of love and smiled.
You grabbed the back of his head and pulled him in for a kiss. He placed a hand on your waist and leaned in to the kiss. He was always such a good kisser. It was passionate and full of love and want and always left you breathless.
You both slowly pulled away, leaning your foreheads together as you caught your breath.
“I love you, Five.” you whispered as you softly scratched his scalp.
“I love you too. So much.” He replied, his thumb rubbing your waist.
As much as you’d love to keep the moment going, he slowly pulled away and stood up. “I’m going to go look for more scrap metal, we’re getting low and one of the traps needs to be fixed. I’ll be back in time for dinner.”
“Oh, okay. Be careful.” You smiled at him as he stood in the doorway.
“I will, love.” He replied softly before turning around and leaving.
Your smile fell as soon as he was gone. Now was as good a time as any.
——————————————————————
Despite finding peace and happiness with you, Five never stopped trying to find a way back home. His family was important to him and even though you were apart of it now, he still wanted to get back to his siblings.
He told you all about his family, his powers, how he got trapped in the future, his true age, everything that lead him to that point in time with you. The only thing he left out, was the subway. It was quite a distance away from your little piece of heaven and he didn’t want you to get stuck by accident like he did.
It was the one secret he kept from you, but what he didn’t know was that you had one of your own.
You had been feeling suspicious for a while about where he was getting all the metal. It was woods and foliage for miles so you had no clue where he was getting it all.
You weren’t stupid, you knew how much his family meant to him and you saw how it effected him being away from them for so long yet again. There would be days where he wasn’t himself, he was visibly depressed and his mind was occupied with the thoughts of his family. He would reassure you that he loved his life with you and didn’t regret a single thing, but being apart from them was hard.
But you were selfish. As much as you would love to meet his family, you refused to lose the one man that made you happy, again.
You waited for Five to get a head start before you went after him. You had to be careful, you knew he was a trained assassin and a former CIA agent, one little mistake and he’d catch you and you didn’t have an excuse thought up if he did. Luckily, you had some training yourself. Not at the level of Five’s but good enough where you were able to sneak up on him a few times before.
You followed a few yards behind him, staying close by but far enough behind where you won’t lose sight of him.
After about twenty minutes of walking, Five reached the entrance to the subway station. He looked around as a precaution before descending the stairs. Luckily, you had ducked down before he could spot you, you rose from your spot as you watched him go down the stairs.
You walked over and looked down from the top of the stairs and sighed heavily.
——————————————————————
A few months later, you were outside feeding the chickens when Five walked outside, he had the messenger bag he always used when going out slung around him.
He hadn’t needed to go to the subway station since the time you secretly followed him but a lot of things needed repairs recently so he had to find some more metal soon.
He walked up behind you and wrapped his arms around you and kissed your cheek. “I’m going out now. Be back soon, okay?” He said softly as he rested his head on your shoulder.
Five has become more touchy and cuddly recently and you’re not too sure why but you’re not exactly complaining.
“I can come with you. I don’t have much else to do right now that’s urgent. Just lemme finish up here.” You replied, throwing the rest of the seed to the birds.
“No no, it’s okay, love. You stay here. It’s safer here than out there.” He tried persuade you.
You huffed and turned around in his arms. “Five, I’ve survived out here on my own for three years before you showed up. I think I can handle it.”
“I know, but please? Just stay here. It gives me peace of mind knowing you’re here safe.” He looked down at you with pleading eyes.
You sighed exasperatedly. “Fine. But don’t be too long or I’m coming after you.”
“I won’t, love. See you soon.” He kissed you before taking off.
Five felt guilty. He had found a notebook that had the answers to find his way back home. He had held on to it for so long but he had no clue how to bring it up to you. He loved you, and he loved his life with you so much. But he also wanted to save his family, and as much as he’d love to bring them here, he knew most of them would refuse to drop their new lives to start over completely. Plus your cottage and garden kept both of you living comfortably and he had no idea what this timelines world was like outside of the small bubble you stayed in.
He was going to scavenge for metal but he was also hoping to study the notebook a little more. He had covered the subway walls in equations while he tried to think of all the possibilities of getting his family safe while also being able to stay with you. He knew you wouldn’t want to leave your timeline, especially since the one he was trying to get back to was turning to shit quite quickly.
Five had walked this path so many times that he was walking on auto pilot while looking down at the notebook and thinking. He had made it to the station and was about to take the first step down when he bumped into something solid.
He looked up and saw a bunch of wooden planks and chains blocking the entrance.
“What the hell?” He muttered to himself.
“I knew you’d come here.” He turned around when he heard your voice. You were stood a few feet away looking disappointed.
“Y/N? What are you doing here? I told you to stay back.”
“I know. But I wasn’t going to let you go down there again.” You crossed your arms.
“You did this?” He gestured to the shoddily put together barrier. “How do you even know about this place?”
“I followed you last time. I knew you were hiding something. Plus I was curious as to where all the metal was coming from. So…what’s that?” You nodded towards the notebook he was still holding.
“You have no right to keep me out of there.” He ignored the question and walked towards you.
“I can do whatever the fuck I want. You’re not going down there again.” You stood your ground.
“Oh yeah? And where else would I get the materials we need?” He was starting to get pissed off.
“Fuck all that! I don’t give a shit about that! What are you doing down there that’s so fucking important?” You yelled, getting frustrated with him diving the question.
“Trying to find a way back home! To my family!” He raised his voice back, throwing his arms up.
“This is your home now, Five. You’re happy here. We both are.”
“This is NOT my home. Without my siblings here, it will NEVER be home. With or without you here.”
That hit you hard. You felt a pang in your chest at hearing that.
“So that’s it? You’re just going to leave as soon as you can? You just can’t WAIT to get away from me huh?”
“Don’t be stupid.” He huffed.
“Stupid?! You won’t even tell me what the fuck is in that notebook or where you go it!” You waved your arms around.
“It’s the answer I’ve been looking for on how to get back to my timeline. Now, take this shit down so I can finish my equations.” He sighed.
“No.”
“Excuse me?”
“I said no. You’re staying here.” You stared at him while he glared at you.
Five got close to you, getting up in your face. “What the fuck is your problem? What makes you think I won’t just blink down there and leave right n-“
“BECAUSE I DON’T WANT TO LOSE YOU AGAIN!” You screamed as tears finally started falling down your face.
This startled Five, causing him to back up. It took him a second before he spoke up again.
“What do you mean ‘again’?” He questioned.
You squeezed your eyes shut and shook your head, hugging yourself.
“Y/N…” Five warned as he took a step towards you.
You hung your head as your tears kept falling. “I knew about timelines long before you showed up.” You sniffed and lifted your head, looking off to the side. “My husband…he…he found this place years ago. He went on the subway and came back telling me all about it. He was so captivated by it that he kept coming back, taking it to different timelines. I went with him once but we ended up somewhere awful. I never wanted him to go down there again. I didn’t trust it. But of course he was too stubborn and didn’t listen. He went out one day and…never came back. I waited for years. I came out here every day for about two of those years, just waiting for him to walk back up. I wanted to close it off but kept it open just incase he came back. Then you showed up…and I…I thought that you…were him. You looked and sounded the exact same. Even had the same name. But I knew you couldn’t have been him from the way you acted when we first met. But when I gave you his clothes to wear…all I saw was him.” You wiped your tears away.
Five was silent for a while. Trying to process everything you just dumped on him. “So…I was a replacement, for the version that you lost.” He clenched his jaw.
“No!” You looked at him with surprise. “No I swear you weren’t a replacement. Even if he was a version of you and you had a lot in common, you’re also different. There are things you do, things you say, that are so different from him. I never saw you as a replacement. I never saw you as him . I just saw someone so familiar that I felt so comfortable with. You made me fall in love all over again with a whole new person.” You tried to explain quickly.
Five sighed and looked away, scratching the back of his neck. “I need to get home.”
You sucked in a breath. “Five, please. Please don’t leave me alone out here again. I’ll…I’ll do better! I will do whatever you want as long as you just stay here. Please .” You felt tears stinging your eyes again as you reached out and held onto him.
“Y/N…” He sighed. He brought his arms around you and held you close. “I love you. I really do. But I don’t belong here. I’d love to stay with you. I really do. But your Five is out there somewhere. Stuck just like I was. He belongs here with you. I need to be with my family. I’m sorry.”
You sobbed into his chest as you tightened your grip on him.
“I’ll find your Five. I promise. I’ll find him and I’ll bring him back to you. You’re strong, you can take care of yourself while I look for him.” He reassured as he nuzzled into your hair.
“How do you know he’s even still alive?” You whimpered into his chest.
“He’s a Five. We’re stubborn, and if he loved you as much as I do then I know he’s fighting to get back to you.”
You both stood there, the air cold as you held each other. Your sobs mixing in with the sound of the wind. After a couple of minutes, your tears died down and you slowly pulled away from Five. He looked down at you, evidence of his own silent tears on his face.
You reached up and wiped the tears off his face. “I love you, Five. Just as much as I loved mine.”
He caught one of your wrists. “I know.” He whispered before kissing your palm. You both looked into each others watery eyes before stealing one last kiss.
When you pulled away, you leaned your forehead against his, one last time. “Do you promise you’ll find him?”
“I promise.”
With that, you backed away from him and held your hands close to your chest, one of them playing with the bracelet he made you all that time ago. You watched him look at you one more time, smiling, before suddenly he was gone in a flash.
You felt yourself fall to your knees as your curled in on yourself as you sobbed.
——————————————————————
Five had managed to arrive safely in his timeline. He was going to keep his promise to you, but first he needed to see his family.
His heart was still heavy at the thought of leaving you behind but he tried not to let it show. He didn’t want his siblings to pry too much when the wound was still open.
He walked up to the familiar house and sighed before knocking on the door. It opened to reveal Lila.
“Hey there you are. Finally.” She looked him up and down. “What the hell are you wearing?” She questioned.
“I can’t be comfortable?” He countered.
“Alright, don’t get your knickers in a twist. I’ve only ever seen you in suits or a school boy uniform. It’s weird seeing you in casual clothes.” He rolled his eyes at her statement. He certainly didn’t miss her quips. Lila stepped back and opened the door more to let Five in.
As soon as he stepped inside he saw Diego with Grace on his hip. “Heyyyy you made it, Cinco! Come on in, take your shoes off first though.”
Five softly smiled at the sight of his family safe and sound.
——————————————————————
Five found himself back in the subway station pretty quickly. The Cleanse had yet to be stopped and everything was escalating so fast but he knew he had a promise to keep. He hated leaving his family again with no explanation but he refused to let you down.
He was prepared to spend another six years down there all alone just for you. Luckily, he had only spent a few hours searching different timelines when he came across a deli.
He had followed what he swore was an another version of him down there. He hoped it was the one he was looking for.
However, he was shocked to find the entire place was full of doppelgängers. “Hey! Over here.” The Five in the suit that he followed called him over to a booth.
“What is this place?” He sat down across from himself.
“It’s a gas station. What the hell’s it look like? It’s a deli.” His counterpart replied sarcastically, sipping some coffee.
Another Five chuckled in the booth behind him while yet another copy of himself placed down a mug of coffee and two pastrami sandwiches on the table.
“Little light on the sauerkraut don’t you think?” Five joked.
“Yeah, it says it on the menu and I keep telling him but…he never listens.” He shook his head.
“Sorry.”
“It’s not your fault.”
“Theoretically it is.” He picks up the mug of coffee.
“Oh, you’re not gonna like that.” The other Five points out.
He looks down at the coffee with a frown.
“So! I take it your figured out the subway system by now.” The Five takes a bite of his sandwich.
“Alternate versions of the same moment in time?”
“That is correct. You’d be surprised how long it took some of the Five’s to figure that out.” Five mumbles with a mouth full. It made him think back to you and how you always scolded him if he talked with his mouth full. He hoped you were alright.
Five swallowed and continued. “We’re all you. From alternate timelines, most of us have given up trying to fix the problem.”
He looked at his counterpart, confused. “What problem?”
“The broken timeline, man. There’s only supposed to be one.” Five sipped his coffee.
He thought for a moment. “I don’t get it.”
“Look around, Five.” He sighed. “Does this seem right to you?”
He looked to the side. “Well, no-“
“You think Einstein was thinking of this when he was figuring out relativity? Not a chance. This shit would’ve made his head explode.” He took another sip of his coffee.
“Ok so, what shattered the original timeline?” Five questions.
“Not what…who. And I’ll give you three guesses to figure it out.” A ding is heard through the deli.
“We did!” Another Five from behind the counter shouts.
The Five across from him looks exasperated. “Why you always gotta wreck shit, Brisket Five? Why?”
“By we he means…the family, my siblings?”
“The morons, yeah.”
“I’m familiar with them, yeah.”
“One perfect timeline and the moment we come into existence; boom! Shattered. Into an infinite number of alternate timelines in an infinite loop of time. As we try and save the world- how many times…was it again?” Five leaned over and asked the Five in the booth behind him.
“One hundred and forty five thousand four hundred and twelve.” The Five lowered his newspaper to look at the other two.
“That’s a lot. He’s like Rain Man, that one. He loves num- oh by the way. Look at the artwork.”
He turned and looked at all the framed photos littering the walls.
“All the different ways we made our universe go kaboom. Gold star for consistency, am I right?” He joked.
“We need to fix this.”
“Oh trust me, we tried. That’s why one of us created the commission. By the way that’s why there’s no paradox psychosis here. Uses the same technology that Five did for the panic room. He wanted to undo all the broken timelines, get back to the one and only. But that always fails because…?” He prompted.
“The family is the problem. We’re doomed to save or destroy the world over and over again and infinitum.” He sighed.
“Bingo.” A Five sat at a table holding a coffee chimed in.
“Bingo.” The Five across from him repeated with his mouth full.
“I need to get back to my family. Stop this from ever happening.” He stood up.
“Well…good luck with that. Guess you don’t want your brisket to-go?” The Five reached for his plate and slid it towards him.
He was about halfway to the door when he remembered his promise and turned around. “One last thing. I spent a year in a different timeline with a woman. Her name is Y/N, she said she lost her husband because of the subway and that he’s another Five.”
“Y/N, huh? Only a few of us have met someone with that name, but chances are you’re looking for that one over there.” He pointed to another Five who looked the worst out of all of them. He was hunched over a table in the far corner, head in his arms. “Used to talk non stop about his wife named Y/N and how he had to get home to her. Poor bastard got stuck and went crazy trying to find his way back.”
That’s all Five needed to hear. He walked over to the Five and shook his shoulder. The Five grumbled but lifted his head.
“Hey, I know how to get you back to your timeline. Your wife misses you a lot. She’s waiting for you right now.”
“Y/N?!” He straightened up.
“Yeah. C’mon. She needs you.” He helped the Five stand and lead him out of the deli.
—————————————————————
On the subway ride back to your timeline, your Five was pacing back and forth.
“Sit down. You’re gonna fall on your ass when the train stops.” Five tried to calm him down.
“I haven’t seen her in years. She told me to stop coming down here but I just couldn’t fucking listen and I ended up leaving her all alone.” He brushed his hand through his messy and dirty hair.
“Hey. She’s strong. She was doing just fine by herself when I met her. I promise she’s okay. She’ll be happy to see you again.” He sighed. He really wishes it could be him, but now that he knew his family was destined to destroy the world no matter how hard they try to stop it, he had to go back and be with them.
When the train stopped in the right timeline, he guided the other Five out. “Ah shit.” He muttered when he got to the stairs and saw it was still blocked off. “Forgot she did that.” He grabbed the other Five and blinked them to the surface. He shivered at the cold air. It must have been a few months since he left considering there was now snow on the ground.
“This way. I’m not sure how long it’s been for her so let’s not keep the lady waiting.” The disheveled Five followed close behind him, growing anxious at the familiar scenery. His heart started beating hard in his chest when he saw the cottage in the distance.
As they got closer, they could both see you exiting the greenhouse, a basket in your hands.
“Oh my god…” The Five whispered. He stood still in shock at seeing you again. You looked just as beautiful as he remembered. “Y/N!” He called out.
You looked around at the sound of your name being called. You had been hallucinating hearing your name in Five’s voice since he left so you were in complete shock when you looked over and saw your original Five a few yards away.
You dropped the basket, its contents spilling onto the snowy ground, and beelined for your husband, jumping right over the fence.
He ran towards you, quickly closing the distance before colliding in a desperate hug. Tears were pouring down both of your faces as you squeezed each other right. Scared that either one of you might disappear.
You looked up from his shoulder and through blurry vision you could see the Five you spent a year with standing in the distance. You smiled at him and mouth a “thank you” to him.
He smiled sadly back at you and nodded. You closed your eyes and nuzzled deep into your husbands neck. When you opened them again, Five had disappeared from view. You frowned, a part of you will always love and miss him , but you had your true Five back now. You could only hope he found someone that made him happy.
You pulled back from the hug and looked your Five in the eyes and smiled through the tears. “Welcome home, honey.”
——————————————————————
As Five stood hand in hand with his family as the Durango slowly consumed him, he thought back to you.
He had no idea what timeline was the right one, but he could only hope, that even if it was a slim chance, that your timeline was the correct one.
As you laid in bed, cuddled up to your husband, you didn’t feel a thing as your timeline disappeared.
——————————————————————
On the twelfth hour, of the eighth day of August, 2024, absolutely nothing out of the ordinary occurred.
Y/N would say, it was just a normal day as she watered the marigolds in her garden.

I can’t get it back so I’m reuploading everything I had saved in my notes app. Sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment, trust me, I’m devastated, but with your help I can get back to my former glory so PLEASE reblog if you like it 🙏😭
Summary: After you find out that your husband of 40 years cheated on you with his own brother’s wife, you give up on figuring out how to fix the apocalypse and run off. That’s when you’re lead to a suspicious deli full of the exact face you never wanted to see again.
Genre: Fluff/Angst
Word Count: 1,663
Warnings/Notes: implied/referenced cheating, heartbreak, rushed writing, happy ending
Disclaimer: Five is canonically in the body of an 18 year old in this season. Not to mention he aged like 7 more years with Lila. Also, obvious Season 4 spoilers. This season was awful and Five was done so dirty and he’s still ooc in this fic (or at least a version of him is)
This is part one of my The End series (part two and three coming soon)
———————————————————————
You had no idea how long you had been walking for. All you knew was that you were tired.
Tired of everything. Of the constant apocalypses, the fighting, the stress, …the lying, the heartache. Everything.
You had to get away from that place. You couldn’t stand to be around anyone from that family anymore. Around… him.
You and Five have been married for forty years. You both met in the first apocalypse as teens. You weren’t special like him or his siblings but you were both grateful to have someone else around.
You slowly fell in love over the years as you grew older together. You had a makeshift marriage with a ring Five had made for you out of random bits of metal he had found.
You had both been recruited into the Commission together and quickly became the most badass couple in the entire organization. You were always put on missions together for your efficiency and speed.
You had followed Five back in time to see his family, consequently getting stuck in your younger body as well. You followed him everywhere. You would’ve given your life for him.
So, how could he do this to you?
Forty years, thrown away all because he supposedly got stuck for seven fucking years in a stupid timeline traveling subway station with another woman.
You wanted to kill him. He knew that you didn’t like how comfortable Lila was with him since the beginning and he had assured you he wasn’t interested in her at all and that you were all he wanted. What a load of bullshit that was.
You had left after their explanation. You saw the way he looked at her. The exact same way he used to look at you. For him at had been years since he last saw you. For you, it had only been a few hours since he last looked at you like you were the world.
You had slipped off the wedding ring and threw it at his face before leaving. You could hear him trying to get you to stay and try to follow you but he was stopped by Diego.
You were so lost in thought before you found yourself in front of the entrance to a subway station. This must be the one they were talking about. You looked behind you, making sure no one had followed you but also as a way to look back on this life.
If they were telling the truth about the timelines…then you weren’t going to be coming back to this one. Maybe there is a timeline where you’re happy. One where you and Five don’t meet. Or maybe one where none of this happens. Where you’re both a normal married couple.
You took a deep breath as you gazed down the steps. Once you took your first step down, you knew there was no going back.
As you descended the steps, the eerie silence unnerved you. You could hear only your footsteps on the ground and the squeaking of the turnstile as you pushed through it.
You were startled by the sound of the speakers playing some sort of announcement. It was impossible to understand considering it was all backwards.
Soon, the subway entered the station and came to a halt. The doors opened and you stood still, you were still a little creeped out. Five always made you feel more comfortable in situations like this…but he wasn’t here anymore.
You swallowed your unease and entered the subway car. You slowly took a seat and looked around before the doors closed and the subway started moving. You looked out the window as flashes of colour went by.
You were there for a couple minutes before you stopped. The doors opened but you didn’t get up. You weren’t sure if you wanted to get off yet. You wanted to be sure you were as far from the timeline you were just in as possible.
You felt something pull inside of you though. Something wanted you to get off and explore. So you did.
You let yourself be guided by this feeling deep inside. It was like your heart was pulling you somewhere.
It isn’t long until you end up in front of a building of some kind. Could you even call it that? You never left the station and it’s the only other place in here. Is it more of a building in a building? You didn’t want to think about it too much.
The words “Max’s Delicatessen” were shining brightly in your face. You were a little amused. Maybe you were hungry and it was actually your stomach bringing you here rather than your heart.
You sighed and decided to check it out.
But when you entered, you were horrified at what you saw.
The entire deli was full of copies of your (now ex) husband. This was the last thing you wanted to see and you internally cursed at your conscious for bringing you here.
You could feel your heartbeat pick up and your breathing become heavy as tears pricked at your eyes.
Finally, one of the Five’s had looked up and noticed you stuck in place at the door.
“Darling!” He shot up out of his seat, audibly hitting his knee on the table but he didn’t flinch.
Suddenly, every single Five in the place had his eyes on you, each with various emotions displayed on their face.
The Five that spotted you quickly made his way over to you. He lifted his shaking hands and held them over your cheeks, too scared to make contact in case you fade away.
You could see the disbelief and love in his eyes. This snapped you out of your confusion and slapped his hands away from you and backed yourself up into the door.
The Five in front of you looked confused and hurt before sighing and lowering his hands.
“Sorry…I forgot that you’re not the same one.” He apologized.
“What the FUCK is going on?” You exclaimed as you looked around to be met with all the Five’s still staring at you. “How did you get here? Why are there multiples of you? Why can’t you just leave me alone!”
“Woah, woah, slow down. Breathe. You’re okay. Everything’s fine.” The Five in front of you tried to calm you down. “You took the subway right? This is a different timeline. We’re all the same person from different timelines. Usually the only new people that enter here are a version of me…or…us I guess. You’re the only…well…you, that has shown up here.” He explained.
“What?” You looked at him like he was crazy.
“They should sit down.” Another Five had said.
“Come on, hun. Come sit down and we can talk.” He had reached out towards you, careful not to touch you while he guided you towards the opposite end of the booth he was previously at.
You sat down, still in shock. It felt weird being surrounded by so many Five’s. Especially when you were trying to get away from him.
“I guess I’ll start.” Five had sat down across from you and sighed.
“In my timeline, you and I had been together for years. We met at the Commission. At first we hated each other but we were always put on missions together. Over time…I had fallen for you, and luckily for me, you reciprocated those feelings. We were together romantically for years. We were on our last mission before our contract with the Commission ended. We were planning on getting married after and retiring somewhere nice. But…it went wrong…and I lost you. You died in my arms.” He looked off to the side and tried to play off wiping away his tears.
“I haven’t seen you in years. You’re just as beautiful as the day I lost you.” He reached a hand across the table and gently placed it on yours.
You teared up as you saw the pure love in his eyes. Your Five used to look at you like that and it still hurt knowing he no longer felt that way.
“If you’re here…then something must’ve happened to the Five in your timeline.” He rubbed his thumb on the back of your hand.
You stilled and took your hand back, making the Five in front of you frown.
You hugged your torso for comfort and curled in on yourself slightly as you looked down at the table.
“We were married for forty years…but he got stuck in the subway with Lila and…I guess forty years didn’t mean anything because in seven years he threw it all away for… her .” You hiccuped as you tried to hold back your tears.
There were multiple grumbles and scoffs around the deli.
The Five across from you reached across the table and held your shoulder gaining your attention.
“Everyone here had a version of you in their timeline. We all lost you in one way or another. I think I speak for all of us when I say…having you here is the best thing to happen to us, and he’s a complete idiot for throwing you away like that.” He smiled as he lightly caressed your cheek.
You smiled slightly at his words.
“Aww there’s that beautiful smile.” Five said as he lightly pinched your cheek.
You giggled and batted his hand away and wiped your tears away.
A sandwich and drink was placed in front of you and you looked up to another Five holding a now empty tray.
“Your favourite, just the way you like it.” He said as he gently grabbed your hand and placed a kiss on the back of it with a wink.
You blushed at the action and thanked him.
Even though you got on that train in order to get away from him…you don’t think you’ll be getting back on any time soon.

———————————————————————
It’s been three years since he showed up.
You still remember that day so clearly.
You were thirteen when he arrived. You had been there since the opening of the children’s house. A man approached your parents when your quirk got out of control when you were eight and offered to enroll you in his newly built “school”. It felt more like a daycare than anything else. You learned a few school subjects but there was a lot of quirk training as well.
You were terrified, but persisted. Since you were one of the first, you got to witness other kids joining, and some of them got to leave. No one knew where they went, and Mr. Sunny wouldn’t disclose any information either. He’d always try to change the subject. You learned pretty quickly to let it go and not think too hard about it.
All the new kids always flocked to you. You were one of the few left from the first group, and kids were always so curious, so they always pestered you with questions. Because of this, you became one of the unofficial helpers. Mr. Sunny was the only staff, other than the doctor that would come in every few months for check ups or if someone got injured passed what a simple band-aid could fix. And then of course there was the House Master.
He never showed up in person. He always spoke through a screen. You were probably one of the few people that actually saw a glimpse of him back when he propositioned your parents.
Because you were so popular with the kids, it was easy to help care for them. They all saw you as an older sibling, even calling you as such sometimes. Although, over the years, you got tired. You hated this place. And you slowly started to hate the people in it. You hated how needy some of the kids were. How happy they all seemed to be despite never being allowed to see or talk to their parents. All the intense quirk training and unwanted child rearing wore you out. You slowly started to become a shell of a person. You were able to fake a smile in order to please the kids and throw off any suspicion Mr. Sunny had of you, but deep down, you couldn’t feel emotions anymore. You didn’t care about any of the kids that adored you.
And that included him.
You knew, once he was wheeled in on his bed, comatose, that you were going to have to help out. And you were right.
Mr. Sunny took care of any bathing and dressing issues, and the doctor took care of any medical ones such as replacing his IV and monitoring his healing. But you were in charge of keeping him company whenever you could and shooing away any stray children that snuck in to his room.
You hated it. You thought it was stupid. He’s in a coma, what sort of company would he need?
You mostly sat by his bed, staring at him. Waiting for some kind of movement so you could do anything else but this. But the only movement you saw was his chest slowly rising and falling and the only thing you could hear was the beeping of his heart monitor.
He looked awful when he first showed up. He had reconstructive surgery on his jaw, and third degree burns all over. They did manage to have someone with a healing quirk try and speed up the recovery, but they could only do so much. You weren’t gonna lie…you didn’t want to be near him at first. Because of his burnt, dead, skin he smelled awful. He needed to be bathed regularly but that could only do so much.
As he healed, and fresh new skin came in on some parts of his body and face, he started to look (and smell) better. You watched his healing process from start to finish. Talking to him sometimes as there was nothing else to do and sitting in silence can only get you so far with out wanting to rip your hair out.
You talked about anything and everything. The weather, the other kids, training, any trouble you had with the little school work they actually provided, how curious the kids were about him, etc. Over time, you started to enjoy the time you had with him, even if he never responded.
It was nice to get away from the rest of the “family”. Plus, it was an excuse to get away after a particularly hard session of training. Everyone here had powerful quirks. A lot of them had bodies that couldn’t adapt to their quirk. That was supposedly the purpose of this place. To help people cope with it all.
Luckily, you weren’t one of those people, your quirk didn’t effect your body much. Over use would exhaust you but it wasn’t as bad as some of the other kids. And definitely no where near as bad as this kid.
It was a normal day at the school when he woke up. You were watching over some of the older kids while Mr. Sunny took the younger kids for nap time. Most of them were doing some kind of arts and craft or playing, others opted to catch up on some school work.
You were helping a girl with her writing when you heard one of the new kids shout.
“Oh, the sleepyhead’s awake!”
You didn’t pay attention to what she was saying, more so the volume at which she spoke.
“Keep it down. You know the young ones are sleeping.” You scolded not looking up from the paper the girl was working on.
“Mr. Sunny!” A different girl yelled. “The sleepyhead’s awake!”
“Oi!” You shouted at her, still not noticing what everyone was yelling about. “He’s busy. Sit down and be quiet.”
“Where…am I?” A deeper and raspy male voice spoke. Now, that got your attention.
Your head snapped up towards the door where the voice came from and stared directly at an all too familiar face. Holy shit…he’s awake. His eyes are so…blue. You don’t think you’ve ever seen eyes that blue before. Seeing him awake and standing was weird.
You were released from your thoughts when the new girl spoke to him.
“This is our home! You slept for…let’s see…three years! You slept for three whole years! I just arrived, so I don’t know much, but that’s what Mr. Sunny said.” She explained. He looked shocked and upset at the news.
You stood up abruptly, your chair squeaking loudly on the floor. “Caroline! You can’t just spring something like that on him! You’re just confusing and scaring him.” You reprimanded as you walked over to the two.
“Ah…I-I’m sorry…I just…” Caroline tried to explain herself.
“Go sit down. I’ll handle this.” You sighed.
“But shouldn’t we tell Mr. Sun-“ another voice spoke up from the back of the room but didn’t get to finish when you interrupted them.
“NO! Don’t say anything to him yet. I’m handling this.”
You grabbed the white haired boy by the wrist, he was breathing heavily at this point and seemed to have zoned out.
“Come with me, quickly.” You dragged him out of the room and down the hallway. This seemed to snap him out of his trance as he tried pulling against you.
“W-wait! Hold on, what-“ he started before you shushed him.
You opened a closet door full of cleaning supplies and shoved him inside as he kept protesting. You shushed him every time. You slid into the closet next to him and shut the door.
“What the hell is going on?!” He practically yelled at this point.
“Shut up!” You whisper yelled at him and grabbed his shoulders. There wasn’t much room in the small closet but this was your best shot at being hidden for a while.
“Listen, I don’t know much about you myself, I don’t even know your name. All I know is that one day, three years ago you were found covered head to toe in third degree burns and had a missing jaw. You went through surgery to fix what they could and for three years you’ve been in a coma here. I don’t know why you specifically are here, it must be something to do with your quirk, because this is a place for kids with powerful quirks that they can’t control so they can get help. This is all I know, the grown ups don’t tell us much. I’m sorry…” you quickly explained, keeping your voice down.
“I…” He tried to process everything. “A coma? Surgery?!”
“Shhh! Not so loud. I know you’re freaked out right now and confused and I wish I could tell you more but I genuinely do not know anything else, but if it makes you feel any better…you weren’t alone. I was tasked to sit by your side basically since you arrived here.” You tried your best to calm him down.
“Really?” He still sounded like a child and you supposed he still was one, mentally he’s still 13 and everything must be so terrifying to learn. You don’t really know why you were trying to comfort him. You don’t like him anymore than the other kids. And you didn’t like them at all. You pitied him, you guessed.
“Yeah…I talked to you almost every day. Look, you’re safe here. As long as you follow the rules and don’t cause too much trouble you’ll do fine.” You sighed.
“No, I…I have to go home.” You felt despair at his words. You knew he was never going home. No one that came here ever went home…not if he could help it.
You were about to explain that to him when the door to the closet opened, blinding you both with the shitty fluorescent lights from the hallway.
“Ah, there you two are. Now, sunny, I know you’re excited that your friend is awake now, but you know why kids aren’t allowed alone together. I’ll take it from here. Please join the others in the activity room.” Mr. Sunny smiled down at you two.
You blushed furiously at the implications of his words and ripped your hands away from the boys shoulders and crossed your arms.
“You know damn well that’s not what was happening.” You muttered as you stomped past him.
“Language, sunny!” Mr. Sunny sing songed.
———————————————————————
It was night time now, all the younger kids were fast asleep, having been put to bed an hour ago, and the older kids were winding down for the night and getting ready for their bed time.
You however, were lingering outside Mr. Sunny’s office. The door was wide open…so it wasn’t like you were eavesdropping, but you were staying out of sight.
You felt like something was wrong. Like something bad was about to happen. Touya, you learned his name was at dinner, seemed adamant that he was going home. You just wanted to be there when the news was broken to him. You’d gotten used to being the therapist all the kids come running to.
“I have to get home!” You heard him plead.
“You can’t do that, sunny!” And there it was….the ball has dropped.
“Why not?” Touya argued.
“You’ll be living here with everyone else now, sunny! This is your new family! I’m sure it’ll feel like home soon!” God, you hated that fucking flower freak. You were told the same thing and you know how much it stings to hear that.
“Wait a minute! I have to get home! My dad…He probably just had work and couldn’t come. I’m sure he’s worried! I did…and said…some terrible things. I need to apologize to Mom and the others…I need Dad to see what I can do.” You could hear the pain in his voice, and yet…he still sounded like a child.
“I’m gonna be a he-“ He got cut off.
“Unfortunately, I don’t think that can happen anymore.” You flinched at the voice. It’s him.
“Your burned up body was extremely hard to repair. The missing parts were filled in with regenerative tissue. Your face makes you look like someone different, but even so, you survived.” The voice cracked through the speakers.
“What are you saying? I don’t understand…someone different?” Touya whimpered.
“You can’t use your power like you did before. There was damage to your organs. Your senses, including your sense of pain, has been dulled. Your body is weakened. It will never go back to how it was before.” Damn….you didn’t know it was that bad. You felt pity for the boy.
“We would have liked to receive you in full health, too.” He continued. You could hear Touya’s shaky breathing. “We did our best, but unfortunately, we failed.”
You could hear him trying to hold back his tears. You peeked your head in and saw him bent over, clutching his face.
“It’s hard, isn’t it? You poor thing. But WE might be able to make your flames go back to normal! How about it? Will you try joining our family and learning together with us?” You wanted to punch that asshole. He ruined countless children’s lives. He ruined YOUR life. Who knows how many more of these places he has running.
“Shut up.” Touya spoke. You could hear the anger boiling in his voice. “I don’t want to learn from anyone else. The only one who can teach me is…” he threw the keyboard at the computer screen “my dad!”
“Don’t do that, sunny!” Mr. Sunny intervened, grabbing his shoulder that stupid smile on his face.
“Be quiet!” He yelled as he fought back, activating his quirk. You could feel the heat form the doorway. “Shut up!”
Suddenly, the whole room was ablaze. Touya turned and stopped when he saw you standing there. You stared back at him blankly. He huffed and ran past you down the hallway. You knew you could stop the fire. You knew it would’ve been the right thing to do. But you couldn’t bring yourself to care, this was your one and only chance at freedom. So you ran after him.
You caught up to him when he tried pushing open a locked door. You grabbed his wrist again and started pulling him towards the front enterance.
You both ran out the front doors as the entire building was quickly engulfed in flames. You let go of his wrist and let him lead the way. You could’ve gone your own way, but you followed him anyway. It’s not like you were dying to go home. As far as you’re concerned, you lost any family you had when your parents gave you up.
You stayed next to him as he slowed down. Soon, he was trudging along, both of you now in the middle of the city. The streets were lit by restaurant lights and the hanging street lights.
“I have…to go home.” He spoke more so to himself. You weren’t even sure he knew you were next to him. Your hands were shoved in your pockets as you looked around. You remember him saying he lived in Musutafu. That was the next city over. Not too far that it was impossible, but it would take a few hours to get there on foot.
He finally snapped out of his trance about an hour in. Most stores and restaurants were starting to close now, leaving only izakaya’s and yatai open. You passed a few with drunk patrons sat around on stools loudly chatting and laughing with each other.
You were surprised you hadn’t seen a single hero yet. In a city like this, you’d think there would be a bunch crawling around. Especially at night. At least you two were being left alone.
“Why are you following me?” He spoke up. He sounded tired. Ironic, considering he slept for three whole years.
“So you don’t die. Besides….I didn’t have anywhere else to go so I wanted to see this home you kept whining about.” You answered with a shrug.
He huffed and it was back to silence for a few minutes. He seemed to be deep in thought again as you two walked the streets.
“I killed that guy didn’t I?” He suddenly spoke up again.
“Probably shouldn’t say something like that out loud. But yeah, most likely. Bastard kinda deserved it though.” You replied.
“The whole place caught fire…oh god I probably killed everyone else…” He started to freak out.
“Nah…probably not everyone. Some of those kids have quirks that could be useful in a fire. They probably saved a bunch of the others. You probably only killed a few of them.” You realized that wasn’t a very helpful thing to say but it was too late.
“Why are you so nonchalant about this?!” He yelled, grabbing your shoulders and shaking you slightly. You were now both stopped on the sidewalk as he hyperventilated.
You sighed and scratched the back of your neck. “Touya…I never gave a shit about anyone in the damn place. I was never attached to them. Everyone there annoyed me. I wanted to be left alone, but the kids liked me so goddamn much that I was put in charge of them against my will when that freak was busy. They became attached to me while I felt absolutely nothing for them. They were never my family, no matter how hard that idea was pushed. I was given up by my parents because they were terrified of my quirk. I lost all sense of a family when I walked through those doors for the first time. I don’t care if they lived or died. I’m just glad that place is burnt to the ground and I’m out of there. So if anything, I should be thanking you.”
Touya was shocked at your lack of care. He started to notice how dull your eyes were, how tired you looked. Now he was the one that started to pity you.
He let go of your shoulders and rubbed the back of his neck. He sighed and turned to continue walking. You followed a pace behind him silently.
——————————————————————
Hours later, it was the next day. It was dark and cloudy even though it was around noon.
Touya had come to a stop in front of a rather large traditional looking estate. You stood beside him as he stared at the huge double doors that lead to the front yard.
“Jesus…no wonder you were so desperate to get home. If my home was as nice as this I’d have burned the place down myself years ago.” You joked.
“I told you…I’m a Todoroki.” He looked at you confused.
“Am I suppose to know what that means?” You lifted an eyebrow at him.
“My father is Endeavour? Number two hero in all of Japan?” He looked bewildered.
“Ah, right…not gonna lie…I thought you were lying about that.” You laughed.
He sighed, exasperated as he looked back at the doors and took a deep breath before swallowing.
He slowly pushed open one of the doors and walked through as you stood by and watched the boy you had been next to for the last three years.
He turned to you when he realized you were still stood outside the property.
“Are you coming?” He asked.
You flinched. “Do you…want me to?” You replied, confused. You thought this would be the end of the ride for you, you’d finally be alone after this.
He nodded. “I’m sure my parents will be able to help you. They would probably let you stay for as long as you want, or help you find a place to stay if you’d prefer that.”
You felt a blush ride to your cheeks. No one ever gave a shit about you like that. You didn’t know how to feel as you felt your heartbeat speed up.
You tsked and glared at the ground as you walked through. “Whatever.” You mumbled.
He smiled softly and closed the door behind you then made his way to the entrance of the house, you following behind him, hands shoved deep in your pockets.
He opened the door and let you in first.
“Mom? Dad? I’m home! I’m sorry for worrying you all but I’m back and I’m okay!” He called into the eerily quiet house. He stepped up from the genkan not bothering to put on any slippers that were near the door. You noticed that there was only two pairs at the front. You remembered him saying he had three siblings and both his parents lived with each other. But if only two people were out…why did no one answer?
You followed behind him as you looked around the spacious and very traditional house. You wished you lived in a house like this.
That’s when you both heard a childlike scream followed by an older male voice cursing and yelling commands.
Touya took off down the hall where the noises came from and you followed close behind. As you got closer you could smell smoke and wood burning and you could feel the intense heat.
He stopped at an open sliding door and stared in. You couldn’t see in from where you were standing, but you could see the flames covering the inside of that room.
Touya was stiff as he stood there, his hands clenched into tight fists. You could see tears falling down his face. Whatever he was seeing…it obviously effected him quite negatively. He silently took off down the hall as he wiped at his face with his sleeve and you stepped forward, the floor underneath your feet still warm from where he stood. You looked in and saw a young boy, probably around eight, hunched over on the floor. Perfectly split red and white hair covered his face. That must be Shoto. Touya told you about how much he resented him as a kid. The huge man standing over Shoto, holding a piece of wood must be Endeavour. Looking at him now…he doesn’t look like a hero.
You slowly went off in the direction Touya went, careful not to make too much noise. You came across an open door and looked in. There stood Touya in a nearly empty room. The most prominent thing in the room was a huge wooden shrine, intricately decorated, that he stood in front of, his hands held up in front of him in prayer. He stared blankly down at a picture frame sat in the middle of the shrine.
You debated walking in or leaving him in peace. You thought it safer to join him incase his dad left the room and saw you. You slowly and silently slid the door closed behind you and stood next to him. You looked at the picture he was staring at and noticed a younger white haired boy in a school outfit. That must’ve been him before the accident. You couldn’t help but think he looked a little cute.
You sighed and matched his pose. Bringing your hands up in front of your face in prayer. You didn’t know why, but it felt like the right thing to do.
You both left not long after that, climbing out a window in order to not be seen. You let him lead the way, going wherever he felt like.
It was an hour or so by the time you both came across an abandoned building. It looked like an office of some kind, it was also clearly the victim of a villain attack of some kind. You doubt normal robbers would attack an office and make this much mess.
Touya came to a stop in front of some fallen junk and sat down. He hunched over with his arms resting on his knees as he stared at the floor. You both stayed silent until you heard his stomach groan quite loudly. You chuckled breathily.
“I’ll go get some food. I saw a convenience store a block away. I’ll be back soon.” You spoke softly, not wanting to break the silence too harshly.
———————————————————————
When you got back you noticed he was laying down, an arm laid over his eyes.
“M’ back” you muttered, not sure if he was awake or not. You placed the two plastic bags full of food and drinks onto the nearby table. You noticed a laptop with a charger attached, the cable running off the table and onto the floor where it was plugged into an extension cord that was attached to the wall. He must’ve found it while you were out.
You heard shuffling and looked over at him as he slowly sat up. He was looking down but you could see the tear stains on his face and his bloodshot eyes. You didn’t comment on it.
He slowly shuffled over to you and looked through one of the bags. “How did you get this much stuff?” He asked.
“Stole an old ladies wallet and took the cash before she noticed.” You answered, pulling out a warm steamed sweet potato and handed it to him. You didn’t know what he liked but it was a popular choice so you guessed he wouldn’t mind. You also pulled out a water and handed it to him.
He took both items from you and went to sit down. He pushed down the paper wrapper and took a bite of the sweet potato.
“That’s pretty illegal ya know.” He said with his mouth full.
“So is burning down a school full of kids.” You retorted, a little annoyed due to being hungry. You pulled out a pork bun and bit into it.
He scoffed and you both sat in silence as you ate.
You finished the last of your bun and took a sip of your own water. You sighed. You felt bad for snapping at him, now realizing he was just teasing you.
“Touya-“ you started before being cut off.
“That’s not my name…not anymore.” He said dejectedly.
“Oh…” Now you know what he was really doing at his shrine. Touya is dead…now all that remains is the shell of a boy. “What…uh…What do you want to be called now then?” You moved over to him and sat down next to him.
“I don’t know.” He sighed, crumpling up the wrapper and chucking it across the room.
“Well…whenever you figure it out, lemme know. I wanna be the first one to call you that.” You placed a hand on his shoulder.
He looked at you and smiled softly, a light blush across his face.
——————————————————————
You woke up to the sound of typing and soft cursing.
You stretched your whole body, groaning at the feeling of your vertebrae snapping into place.
Your new friend looked over his shoulder at you. “Sorry.” He cringed. “I didn’t mean to wake you.” He looked back at the screen.
“Hmm…it’s fine. What time is it?” You yawned as you slowly stood up. Your body stiff from the pile of semi comfortable debris you piled together last night. You lifted your shirt and scratched your side.
“7:26am” he responded after glancing at the tiny clock in the corner of the screen.
You hummed as you walked over to the table and looked through the bags. There was a single small bag of chips left. You weren’t able to get much filling food yesterday and you both ate through everything else, him especially. You knew teenage boys ate like they were starving but damn was he hungry. Although you gave him some slack considering his body was forced to survive off the bare minimum to keep him alive for three fucking years.
You opened the chips and ate one anyway. You were regretting not buying toothbrushes and toothpaste but whatever.
“What are you doing?” You asked as you shoved another chip in your mouth. You tilted the bag towards him in a silent offer.
He took one and answered as he chewed. Normally you’d find that gross but you can’t be bothered to care right now. “Trying to connect to the internet but the connection is shit.”
“Trying to look at baby name sites to find your new name?” You teased.
He glared at you out of the corner of his eye, making you chuckle.
“How long have you been awake?” You ate a few more chips before leaving the rest for him.
“About an hour.” He mumbled as he tried connecting to the internet again.
“Alright, well, I’m gonna go get some more food. Hopeful something better than just snack food.” You said as you stretched your arms over your head.
“Uh…” He said as he looked up at you, his gaze going to your stomach that showed from your shirt riding up.
“Hm?” You fixed your shirt, not noticing he was staring.
“Your hair…” He trailed off looking at your hair all tussled from sleep. He thought it looked…cute.
You tsked and ran your fingers through your hair trying to fix it. “Better?”
He gave a thumbs up and looked back at the screen.
“Get cup noodles.” He said more like a demand.
“How the fuck are we going to eat noodles?” You questioned.
He lifted his hand and activated his quirk, small orange and red flames dancing on his palm, all with out looking up.
“Ah…right…” You forgot he could do that.
“Don’t steal money from an old lady again!” He called after you, teasingly.
You simply flipped him off as you left, not looking at him.
When you returned, more bags than last time with more than just food this time you saw him still looking at that damn laptop watching something.
You could hear the yelling and brutal sounds coming from the device. You set the bags down on the table.
“What are you watching?” You rounded the table to his side to look. There you could see videos of Endeavour fighting off villains, his flames taking up a majority of the screen.
“Oh…why are you watching that? I would assume he’s the last person you’d want to see right now.” You walked back over to the bags and shuffled through them.
“I’m studying his moves. He never saw what I could do, so I’m going to show him I’m better than his precious favourite. That I can be just as powerful as him.” He growled as he stood back and set his arm on fire.
“Ah. Well you can do that later. Eat first.” You muttered. You pulled out two cup noodles like he requested. You had more for later too.
“Steal more money from an old lady?” He smirked as he grabbed one of the cups.
“No.” You mocked. “…it was a salary man.” You smirked. That got him to let out a loud laugh and shake his head.
You opened your cup noodle and dumped the powder packet in then grabbed one of the water bottles you bought and opened it, pouring some water up to the fill line then handed the bottle to the white haired boy to do the same.
He grabbed yours first and held it with both hands wrapped around it. “Sure you won’t burn the whole thing?” You teased.
“Shut up. I’ve done this before.” He hissed as he concentrated on getting the temperature right. You watched in awe as steam started to steadily rise from the cup.
He put yours down and you placed your wooden disposable chopsticks down on the lid to keep the steam in.
“It’s not boiling but it’s hot enough. You just have to wait a little longer.” He explained as he did the same to his cup.
“Fine by me. I’m just glad to have a hot meal.”
When you both finished your noodles you both had some broth left over. Which made you ask him, “Do you think you can cook eggs with your quirk?”
“What?” He looked at you, puzzled. “I mean…I dunno…I never really tried but…probably. Why?”
You stood up and walked back over to the table and fished around in one of the bags and pulled out a small container of two eggs and walked back over to him and sat back down.
“There’s this hack I learned where you can make a sort of egg soufflé with the remaining broth from cup noodles so you don’t have to dump it out.” You explained as you took an egg out and cracked it into your cup. “You’re supposed to microwave it but we obviously don’t have that option right now.” You whisked the egg up into the broth with your chopsticks.
You traded your cup for his and watched as he repeated the same thing he did to cook the noodles. You could both see the egg starting to cook along the sides and you both exclaimed in joy.
“This way we can get more protein.” You cracked and whisked the remaining egg into his cup.
It took longer but he managed to cook the egg enough to your liking so you switched back and he started on his cup. You had to let yours sit for a while to cool down so you both made small talk.
When you were both finally finished eating, your friend wanted to practice his quirk so you sat near by and watched.
He punched his fist out and orange flames burst around his hand and up his arm. He lift his hand and you watched as the golden flames changed into beautiful blue waves of heat.
“Woah…” you gasped. It made him smirk.
“Cool, huh?” He gloated cockily.
“I’ve never seen anyone have blue flames before. Does it hurt?” You questioned.
“Not as much as before. That guy said my sense of pain has been nullified and I can definitely tell.” He responded as he looked at his arm.
You scoffed at the mention of that asshole.
He turned off his quirk and looked at you. “Who was he by the way? Why did he only speak through a computer?”
“Fuck if I know. He was always communicating through that thing. Never bothered to show up even though he owned and created the damn place.” You seethed. “He was called the House Master. You couldn’t call him anything else, I swear it had to be some kind of ego boost or fetish.”
“He never showed his face?” He asked.
“No. Not while I was there…but I did get a glimpse of him once when he approached my parents about boarding me there.” You picked at your nails.
“You said that it was a place for kids with powerful quirks…what is your quirk? It must be insane if you were asked to be one of the first students.” He realized he never actually asked what your quirk is before.
You stood up and walked towards him and stood a few feet away. You gestured for him to activate his quirk.
He lifted his arm as orange flames burst through once again. You lifted your hand towards his flames and soon they reached towards your hand away from him. You moved your hand around and made the flames dance around in the air. You brought your hand behind you and the flames followed, jumping to your other hand behind your back and following in front, bringing them in front of your face and letting it sizzle out leaving little sparks, revealing his shocked face.
“Woah.” He was in awe.
“It’s called Elemental Manipulation. I can manipulate and maneuver any element I want. There are limitations though. I can use it on any element found on the periodic table, meaning it’s basically unstoppable considering everything in the universe is made up of something. However, I can’t use it on living being like plants, animals or people, and I can only manipulate something if I understand it’s elemental makeup. Water for example is two hydrogen and an oxygen. So I can pull hydrogen and oxygen from the air and combine them to make water, but it takes a lot of energy and time. Fire is a little trickier though since it’s primarily oxygen. I actually can’t create the elements myself, meaning I can’t produce fire like you, cause while oxygen helps fire spread, you still need a heat source and fuel to really start it. It’s easier for me to just move already existing elements than create it. But you can see how dangerous it can be if worked on enough.” You explained.
“Wow…that’s…really awesome.”
You shrugged.
You spent the next few hours watching him train, giving him suggestions every once in a while and making him take breaks if he looked like he was over exerting himself.
The day went by quickly and soon you both found yourself laying next to each other in silence, sometimes chatting about something the other thought of, but you were both content just laying there.
“I think I found a good name.” He broke the silence.
“Oh yeah?” You answered. You were laid on your back, hands folded together and your eyes closed.
“What about Dabi?” He asked, slightly looking for your approval.
You opened your eyes and stared at the dilapidated ceiling. “Dabi…” you tried it out. You smiled and looked over at him. “I like it. Sounds cool and mysterious.”
He smiled back at you.
———————————————————————
For the following years you stayed by his side. You both met Giran and he took you both in for a while. You helped staple his peeling skin and scolded him every time you noticed his scars spreading. You helped dye his hair black. You even helped give him his nose piercings, and you were there when he joined the League of Villains, consequently, joining yourself.
You grew yourself, too. You got better at using your quirk, still not to its full potential, but much easier to handle than when you were younger. You helped fight for Shigaraki’s cause, although you would always keep your entire loyalty to Dabi.
You both found comfort in each other, and you wouldn’t have it any other way. That’s why you agreed to help him when he asked you for a specific favour.
“You ready?” You asked as you stood over the shirtless man, sat on the couch. You softly cupped his face and caressed his cheeks with your thumb.
“I’ve been waiting for this for years. Of course I’m ready.” He grabbed your hand and brushed his lips on the back of it as he made eye contact with you. His eyes still as blue as the day you first saw them.
You smiled and went over to the video camera that was pointed towards him. He sat hunched over, his elbows on his knees, fingers pressed together in front of his face.
“Go.” You whispered.
“Sorry to interrupt.” He looked into the camera through his fingers.
“My name…is Touya Todoroki.”

I Could Be A Good Mother, and I Wanna Be Your Wife - Katsuki Bakugo x Fem!Reader (REUPLOADED)
PLEASE READ: my old blog (clownwritesfanfic) was deleted when my main blog attached to it got terminated for some unknown reason. I can’t get it back so I’m reuploading everything I had saved in my notes app. Sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment, trust me, I’m devastated, but with your help I can get back to my former glory so PLEASE reblog if you like it 🙏😭
Summary: Class 1A is given the surprise task of caring for baby dolls. Everyone is randomly paired up in two’s, and it’s just your luck that you get your crush as a partner.
Genre: Fluff
Word Count: 6,535
Warnings/Notes: plus size friendly, poc friendly, trans women friendly (except the bonus scene at the end), reader has a quirk
Disclaimer: This fic was written originally with an OC of mine in mind, however, most people don’t read Canon x OC and while I normally wouldn’t care and wrote one anyway, I am very proud of this and want as many people to read it as possible and hopefully enjoy it. So with that in mind, I took out any describing factors and her name but I did keep some of her backstory and her quirk. If that bothers you, you can move on but I hope you read it anyway because I’m very proud of this.
Also, there is another OC of mine in this story, Usagi. She’s not integral to the plot and has no speaking roles. I had to add her to keep the class even, otherwise someone would’ve been a single parent.
———————————————————————
It was a Monday, few weeks after a majority of Class 1A got their provisional hero licenses when Midnight and Recovery Girl entered the classroom. Aizawa had taken it upon himself to snuggle up in his yellow sleeping bag and take a nap after introducing the two women, leaving them to explain what today’s class is.
The students expected Midnight, considering she had taught a few of their classes before, but there were murmurs of why the school nurse was there.
“Listen up boys and girls! We have a very special and unique class for today!” Midnight announced as she raised her hand in the air, her leather whip clutched in her hand, catching the attention of everyone (who was awake) in the room.
“Today isn’t about hero work or everyday schoolwork. This lesson is special, it will help you all later in your lives if you choose this path. The path being….PARENTHOOD!” She exclaimed while striking an enthusiastic pose.
“Wait, what?!” “Seriously?” “What do you mean?!” A series of voices could be heard throughout the classroom.
“Settle down!” Midnight got the attention of the students. “This lesson is the most important lesson anyone can learn. Whether you want to become a parent or not, learning how to care for babies and children is a vital and selfless aspect of life.”
There were a couple hushed protests among the class but Recovery Girl talked over them. “You will have one week to care for these babies.” She explained as she pulled out eleven baby dolls of various genders and races. “These dolls are specially made for things like this. These babies will cry, make noises, “sleep”, “eat”, and soil its diaper like a real baby. They’re also able to record and grade you based on how quickly you can figure out and resolve its problem. And be careful what you say around it and how you say things. They can detect anger and verbal abuse which will drastically affect your score. Now…any questions?”
A bunch of hands were instantly raised. But that didn’t matter since Bakugou stood up and slammed his hands onto his desk and yelled. “WHAT THE HELL DO WE HAVE TO RAISE SOME DUMB BABIES FOR?! THIS IS THE HERO COURSE NOT A NURSEY COURSE!”
“Sit down.” Midnight said sternly. She took over the conversation. “While this lesson isn’t exactly meant to play into your hero work, this knowledge can be beneficial out in the field. For example, in some rescue operations, it can take hours for a child to be reunited with their family. Most of the time, medics will take the child and work with police to try and reunite them with their parents, but there are times where a hero must step in and care for and comfort the child. With older children around three to five years old, they’re easier to calm down. You can talk to them and explain the situation and reassure them. But babies and younger children are harder to console in high stress situations. If you learn these things now, you won’t be stressed if you ever get caught in a situation where you’re in charge of a small child. A lot of heroes are inexperienced with child care unless they are a parent themselves or have young family members. Think of this as getting ahead of a problem before it even starts. Make sense?”
Bakugou grumbled and sat back down.
“Eeeee This is going to be fun! We get to take care of cute babies!” Ashido squealed.
“I don’t think it will be that fun, Mina. Babies are a lot of hard work and dedication.” Asui chimed in, a finger lifted up to her lips. She had two younger siblings, so she knew a thing or two about raising kids.
“Correct you are, child.” Recovery Girl said. “The infant stage is one of the toughest stages of child rearing since they can’t communicate their needs and wants with words. It’s a lot of guessing and paying attention to their body language. However, these dolls do not move so you will have to rely on audio cues to guess what the child needs.”
Midnight spoke up. “You will be split up into groups of two all determined by a random draw. Because there are more boys than girls in this class, some of you will end up in a same sex partnership. You do not have to act as a real couple so don’t freak out if you’re partnered with someone you don’t have romantic feelings for. What’s important is teamwork on taking care of the baby. You are in charge of the child for the rest of this week, including the weekend. You may chose to either take turns or to split responsibility evenly. You will be given all the supplies you will need, if you end up needing more, Recovery Girl will help you. At the end of the week you will return the dolls and we will tally up the scores and see which couple has the lowest score. The lowest score is the winner since each mistake is marked based on how severe of a mistake it was. The higher the score, the worse you did. Any more questions?”
Iida quickly raised his hand. Midnight gestured for him to speak. He stood up and loudly asked “If we are to have the baby all day for the rest of the week, what do we do with it while training? You can’t expect us to take the baby with us! That’s highly dangerous and immoral and I would expect better from such a prestigious school!”
“Yes, you’re right. We don’t expect you to keep the doll with you while training. That’s why each of you will have to figure something out. One of you will have to sit out of training unless you can find a better option. Leaving the child in your dorm and hoping for the best is not an option and neither is bringing it to training and leaving it off to the side. It’s like real life. One of the parents has to stay home and care for the child. Sometimes they will get a babysitter but that is not an option for you since the scores need to come from you and your partner only for you to pass. If you really want to train that day, you’ll either have to talk it through with your partner, or train later in the day during your free time.” Midnight answered.
“Thank you very much for clearing this up.” Iida said, bowing deeply before taking his seat.
Midnight clapped her hands. “Alright! With everything out of the way, let’s draw for your partners.” She held up a blue plastic box. “In this box is twenty-two coloured tokens. There are eleven pairs. Each one of you will reach into this box and pull out one token, when everyone has a token, you will be given time to find the person with the same colour token. They will be your partner for the rest of the week. You may not switch partners. Each colour is already assigned to a baby as well, so you don’t get to chose that either.” As she finished explaining she walked around the room letting everyone reach in and pull out a token. When the box was empty she returned to the front and allowed the class to find their partners.
Midoriya and Uraraka had the yellow tokens, Shouji and Asui had the purple tokens, Mina and Kirishima had the red tokens, Kaminari and Jirou had the orange tokens, Hagakure and Yayorozu had the light blue tokens, Sero and Mineta had the black tokens, Usagi and Tokoyami had the dark blue tokens, Todoroki and Ojiro had the pink tokens, Iida and Aoyama had the green tokens, and Satou and Kouda had the white tokens.
You looked down at your brown coloured token and looked back up to scan the room. All your classmates were already paired up and either happily talking about how it would be to raise a baby together or complaining about their partner. You could faintly hear Mineta crying about not being paired up with a girl. You look across the room at Bakugou who was still sat at his desk, glaring at his token.
Upon closer look, you could see that it was the same colour as yours. You sighed, already accepting that you’ll basically be a single parent as you can’t imagine he’d want anything to do with this. You reluctantly stood up and made your way across the classroom to him.
“Um…hey. Looks like we have the same colour. Guess we’re partners for the week.” You said, gently.
“I can fucking see that. I’m not blind, dumbass.” He retorted.
Ah, it seems he’s decided to take on the verbally abusive and absent father route already. You’ll have to do your best to make sure you get a low enough score. You’ve never taken care of a baby before. You had baby dolls as a kid but they’ve never graded you before. This was a whole new challenge and you could feel the anxiety pooling in your stomach.
“Right…well. We should talk about how we want to do this.” You started. “I think we should take turns each day. I could take it today and you take it tomorrow and repeat. I know you probably don’t want to skip a day of training so I can take it during training even on your days. There’s not much really for me to train anyway so I can afford to lose a week of it.” You let out a weak laugh.
Bakugou growled. “Do whatever you want but don’t be stupid. You can train on the days I have it. Don’t stop your training over some dumb doll.”
“But…you would be stopping yours if you-“ You get cut off by the blonde.
“I’m already the best in this whole class! Missing a few days of training isn’t going to do anything. Besides, you’re weak and you need to be at your strongest so I can beat you and prove that I’m the best in this entire school!” He yelled. You think that was a compliment albeit he put it weirdly.
“Ha…yeah…okay.” You replied. Just then the bell rang and everyone started to put their stuff away. You went over to your desk to do the same.
“Please return your tokens to the box! And before you leave, pick up your baby with the matching colour onesie and the bag of necessities. You have the rest of the day to yourselves.” Said Midnight.
You slung your bag onto your back and walked to the front of the room and dropped your token back into the box. You waited for your classmates to fizzle out a bit so you could get your baby. The dolls were all lined up in car seats. You found the one wearing a brown onesie, a girl with blonde hair. You chuckled to yourself at the resemblance to your partner.
You grabbed the handle of the car seat and went to grab the big duffel bag next to it when someone grabbed it before you. You look over to see Bakugou standing over you, glaring off to the side.
“Move it.” He gruffed out as he slung the bag over his shoulder.
You left the classroom with Bakugou trailing behind you, still scowling. You turn around and start walking backwards to face him and hold out the car seat so he could see the doll nestled inside.
“Look. She looks like you.” You giggled. He glanced down at the blonde doll and huffed.
“Watch where you’re going, idiot.” He grumbled. You rolled your eyes and turned back around and followed your classmates to the dorms.
———————————————————————
Back in the dorms, everyone was changed out of their school uniforms and gathered in the common room with their new kids. Everyone of course…except for Bakugou, who very grumpily went to his room after dropping the bag of things off at your room.
You had went through the bag and found loads of diapers, clothing, a carrier that strapped to your chest, bottles, a pacifier, and some baby toys. You weren’t exactly sure why you would need toys, considering the baby isn’t actually real, but you guessed you’d find out the reason sooner or later.
You decided to change her out of her boring brown onesie so you picked out a cute outfit from the ones provided. You undid the buckles holding the baby in the car seat (why it came in a car seat when you don’t even know how to drive a car, you will not know) and gently and carefully lifted the little girl out of the seat, making sure to support her head.
As you laid her on the ground and started to undress her, she started making cooing noises.
“Oh! Hello….you must be awake now I guess.” You spoke to the baby as she cooed in reply. “Ha…I guess you are kinda cute.” You felt as if you were talking to yourself.
When your new daughter was dressed, you decided to go to the common room since you thought everyone would be there, and right you were. As you went down the hallway you could hear the excited chatter of your classmates getting louder. When you were in sight, Mina noticed you and waved you over.
“Hey! Come over here! We’re all showing off our babies!” She excitedly exclaimed. As you walked over, Kirishima stood up from his spot beside Mina and offered the space to you. You thanked him as you sat down and readjusted your baby in your arms.
“Course! What kinda man would I be if I didn’t offer a seat to a lady with a baby!” He replied. Ever so chivalrous, he is.
“Ha! That rhymed.” Kaminari pointed out.
“Awww you got a girl? How lucky!” Mina squealed. “Kirishima and I got a boy. We named him Kenji.” You looked down at her lap where the doll was laid on its back.
“You named it?” You asked.
“Well yeah! We can’t just keep calling him “it” and “the baby”.” She explained as if it was obvious.
Iida then chimed in, his baby tucked securely in one of his arms. “Yes, I suppose it would be beneficial to name the child. This is supposed to be taken seriously and we can not leave a child unnamed!”
There were murmurs of agreement throughout the room as everyone talked with their partners on what they should name their baby. You looked down to the small blonde doll in your arms that let out another coo and softly smiled.
“Riki…” You thought to yourself. “I’ll call you Riki.”
———————————————————————
“Riki?” Bakugou gawked. “You gave it a name?”
Bakugou was helping with making dinner, well, it was more like he forced everyone to let him do most of it because “no one was doing it right”. You were stood out of the way but within talking distance, your newly named baby in one arm and holding a bottle up to her mouth as she “ate”.
“First off, she’s a she not an “it”. Secondly, everyone in the class named their baby. We have to take this seriously and I’m not going to call her an “it” the whole week. Besides…I thought Riki would be a good name. It means “strong”….and since she kinda looks like you, I figured you’d want your kid to be strong like you so…” You trailed off looking down at the doll in your arms. “We can change it though if you really don’t like it.”
Bakugou huffs. “No…call it-…..call her whatever you want.” He continues to cook in silence. There’s a faint blush on his cheeks. You smile softly at him. Maybe you won’t have to do this alone after all.
———————————————————————
The first day goes by smoothly. You had a bit of a learning curve with changing the diaper but you managed after help from Yayorozu. Who knew she’d be so good at something like that?
You had just settled down into bed after putting Riki to “sleep” and were scrolling on your phone. It was about 10pm, most people were still awake but you knew the person you wanted to talk to most more than likely wasn’t. He went to bed at 8:30pm every night, even on weekends.
You stared at your screen open on Bakugou’s blank private messages page. UA made an app for the students to contact each other and teachers with. It worked like a regular texting app, every class had their own group chat and you could private message each other, even students from other classes. All of them were accessible to staff if needed though.
You didn’t know if you should even bother asking him if he’s still going to take Riki tomorrow. Plus you didn’t want to wake him up. You were about to turn your phone off when you got a message from Mina. You open up her message and see a picture of Kirishima with his hair down, asleep on one of the couches in the common room with their baby on his chest. You laughed quietly to yourself and responded with a cute reaction meme. You thought they would make an interesting pair for this project.
You turned off your phone and plugged it in to charge and set it on your bedside table. You got comfortable in bed and closed your eyes. It would take you a while to fall asleep so you started to let your mind wander. You realized that tomorrow Bakugou will miss out on training if he takes the baby. He already told you earlier today in class not to worry about it and to focus on your own training…but you genuinely couldn’t think on how training would benefit you.
Your quirk has always been more of a supporting quirk rather than one that could do well in a fight one on one. Your quirk is called Cheer, by speaking words of encouragement to someone, you can make your target stronger both physically and emotionally. The reverse also works, if you berate someone it makes them weaker. You can use it on more than one person but its effects get weaker the more people you use it in at once. There’s also a major weakness to your quirk. Anytime you berate someone, you gain confidence, but when you encourage someone, it takes away your confidence. Because of this you feel inferior to everyone else in your class. Even Mineta has a more useful quirk in combat than you do. You’re basically forced to sit on the sidelines and watch people fight. It helps in rescue operations but you still wished you could fight like everyone else. You only managed to get into the hero course because you racked up enough rescue points and got lucky with a three pointer.
It’s ironic that someone with an inferiority complex got paired up with someone with a superiority complex. It’s even more ironic that you managed to gain a crush on the bastard too.
———————————————————————
It was now Tuesday morning and Bakugou was sat in his room staring at the doll in its car seat.
You had entered the common room already dressed in your uniform with Riki in the seat. Hero training was the first class that morning so anyone who was in charge of their baby that day stayed behind and would join everyone later for normal classes. Your tie wasn’t done yet and your skirt was pulled up a little too high, showing off more thigh than you usually do, as you were in a rush since Riki wouldn’t stop crying and you couldn’t figure out why. She had finally managed to settle down when you gave her the included pacifier.
You weren’t much of a breakfast eater, especially if you were training in the morning so you didn’t go to the kitchen. You noticed Bakugou sat on one of the couches drinking something out of a mug. He was wearing a simple black tank top and sweatpants.
“Oh Bakugou! There you are. I’m guessing since you’re not in uniform you’re still taking Riki today.” You sat the car seat on the floor near him and started doing your tie. You knew you were just going to have to take it off soon to change into your hero costume but you still wanted to show up looking like you at least tried. “So I figured out that she makes different noises depending on what she wants. Most of the time she just wants to be held or given a pacifier so she makes really whiny sounds that almost sound like a cry. She was just crying now and the only thing that made her stop was the pacifier so she might start up again soon. I made a smaller bag of her things like diapers and her bottle just so you’re not carrying a big ass duffel bag later.” You were almost rivalling Midoriya with how fast you were muttering, you didn’t mean to but you didn’t want to be late and you kept fumbling with your tie.
As you were smoothing out your front, you felt a pair of hands grab the bottom of your skirt and start to pull down. You shrieked and smacked the hands away and turned around to see (to the best of your ability) Hagakure behind you.
“Oh my god, Hagakure! I had no idea who was behind me! You scared me thinking it was Mineta pulling at my skirt.” You laughed and grabbed onto the girls arms.
“Ahhh I’m sorry! I just noticed your skirt was up a lot higher than normal and you almost showed off a bit too much.” The invisible girl explained as you fixed your skirt. “Come on, we got to get to class!”
“Right, yeah, I’m coming.” You responded as Hagakure held your hand. You quickly turned to Bakugou again who once again had a faint blush dusting his cheeks. “You sure you’ll be okay? I know it’s only for an hour before I see you again so if you want to pawn her off to me next class then that’s fine.”
“Tch…how incompetent do you think I am? Of course I can take care of some stupid doll for an hour!” He barked back at you.
You felt Hagakure pulling you towards the front door. “Ok, well…see you later then!” You said as you finally took off with your friend, leaving Bakugou and a few others scattered around the common room.
“Heyyy, Bakugou! You get stuck on babysitting duty too?” Kaminari taunted, his baby settled in a carrier strapped to his chest.
Bakugou growled. “It’s not babysitting when it’s your own kid you idiot. And you look dumb with that thing on.” He stood up and grabbed the handle of the car seat and went off to his room. He could hear Kaminari complaining as he left.
Now here he was, in his room having a staring match with a doll. He wasn’t sure what to do for an hour, let along with a baby. He glanced up at some math homework left on his desk and decided to finish it up so he was ahead of everyone else in class. Ten minutes past when his concentration was interrupted by whining. He looked over at the car seat that was faced away from him at this angle and sighed. He reached over and turned it around.
“Jesus. She didn’t mention how fucking annoying it would be.” He muttered to himself as he undid the straps and lifted the baby out. “What the hell is your problem, huh?” He asked, surprisingly not as loud as he normally would. He thought maybe she was hungry and remembered you said something about a small bag with her bottle in it. He looked around but couldn’t find it. In fact, he didn’t remember seeing any bag with the baby anyway. He grumbled as he picked up his phone and opened up the messaging app and sent you a private message.
In the locker rooms you heard your phone buzz and decided to look at it as you were changing. You saw a notification from Bakugou and quickly opened it.
Katsuki Bakugou: hey, dumbass. she’s crying but I can’t find that bag you were talking about
You winced as you remembered that you never actually grabbed the bag in your rush to get downstairs.
You: damn I must have forgotten it in my room, sorry. feel free to go and grab it. my room code is 6678 it should be on my desk. you know which floor I’m on right?
Bakugou scoffed.
Katsuki Bakugou: yes I know. I’m not stupid.
You: never said you were <3 have fun lol
You didn’t realize you sent the heart. It was muscle memory from texting with your friends, but it sent Bakugou for a loop.
After he had quickly made his way to the second floor and grabbed the bag you mentioned, he went back to his room where he had left the baby on his bed. Her whining had turned into crying by now.
“Alright, Alright! I got your damn stuff.” Bakugou sat on the floor and settled the doll into his arm. He removed the pacifier and held the bottle up to its mouth. He felt relieved when the crying stopped. “This is fucking ridiculous.” He thought out loud.
He rested his back on his bed and started to drift off in to thought. Why did you send that heart? Did you mean to do it? Was it a reflex? Were you making fun of him? No…that couldn’t be right. You were one of the few that took him seriously. Sure you teased him sometimes, but not as much as the others. He thought back to a time where he accidentally overheard something he probably shouldn’t have that still made his heart feel weird.
———————————————————————
Bakugou was making his way to the kitchen to get something to drink. He could hear you and the other girls of Class 1A giggling and talking about random shit.
He was going to ignore the group when something made him stop in his tracks right before he would be seen.
“Sooo, who do you like?” Mina asked with a teasing voice.
“Who, me?” You asked as Mina nodded. All eyes were on you and you felt yourself blush. “Well…I guess I kinda have a thing for Bakugou…” You answered shyly, playing with the hem of your shirt.
“What?!” “Wait, Bakugou?!” “Really?” The girls cried out in unison.
“Why is that so shocking? You guys seriously don’t think he’s at least a little bit attractive?” You inquired.
Bakugou stiffened at the confession and he felt his heartbeat speed up. You…had a crush on him? Someone actually was interested in him romantically?
“You don’t think all his yelling and name calling is a turn off?” Uraraka asked.
“Hm…not really. Sure he says some mean stuff but…he doesn’t actually mean it.” You reasoned.
“I don’t know…he always seems to be serious about it. I mean he doesn’t even know our names.” Jirou huffed.
“Yes he does!” You laughed. “He’s not stupid. He’s a lot smarter than I think any of you give him credit for.”
“He is in the top our class academic wise as well as hero wise.” Yayorozu chimes in.
“Exactly. Have none of you realized that a lot of his plans actually work? He may seem like he’s rushing into things but it’s obvious he’s put clear thought into his plans. And the fact that he can make one up that quickly is impressive. He’s also more compassionate than you’d think.” You said, leaning back on the couch.
“Well I think you’re wrong with that.” Tsu replied.
“Because you guys are only seeing the surface level. You’re not reading in between the lines. For example, remember when we just moved into the dorms, the talk Mr. Aizawa had with us outside?” They nodded. “When Mr. Aizawa left, you could feel the uncomfortable tension in the class at being reminded of what happened. Bakugou grabbed Kaminari and made him go all dumb because he knew it would make everyone laugh. And it did! The tension was gone instantly! Bakugou really does care, he just doesn’t know how to show it like other people. And remember the school festival? He totally could’ve refused to play the drums but he did it anyway! That’s what I like about him. He’s not a cold hearted asshole, he just wants you to think he is. I use to be like that too.” You trailed off, looking ashamed.
“Wait. YOU were an asshole?” Mina prodded.
You sighed and nodded. “Yeah, back when I first got my quirk. I realized that putting other people down gave me a lot of confidence. I went on a power trip and started bullying everyone. I started to realize that the “friends” that I did have were only my “friends” so they could escape my words. Made me feel like shit when I found out. Now I hate using my quirk like that unless absolutely necessary. But yeah….I see through Bakugou’s walls and I guess it just made me fall for him.” You changed the subject.
“Wow…you’re whipped for him, aren’t you?” Mina teased.
“Yeah, yeah, whatever. Just don’t tell him that. I don’t need him on my ass about it.” You blushed and waved her off.
“You sure you don’t want him on your ass?” Mina teased again.
“OH SHUT UP!” You threw a pillow at her as the girls laughed.
———————————————————————
Bakugou had zoned out at that memory. He hadn’t meant to eavesdrop, it’s your fault for being so damn loud and talking about him in the first place! It’s been a few weeks since that and it’s still fresh in his mind. Did he like you back? He wasn’t sure. On one hand he was pissed at how you managed to figure him out so easily, but on the other hand…he felt comforted knowing someone understood him and didn’t make fun of him for it. He will admit that you weren’t that bad looking or as stupid as everyone else. He did wish you would see the potential you had with your quirk, though. He could feel his cheeks start to heat up and he scoffed, snapping out of his thoughts and looking back down at the doll in his arms.
“I guess…she’s not so bad…” He said softly to Riki.
———————————————————————
Training had finished and you and the rest of your classmates were on your way to your next class.
Upon entering the classroom you noticed everyone that had skipped out on training standing around, babies either in their arms, strapped to their chest, or in the car seat. Bakugou was sat in his spot, chin in his hand looking out the window to his left.
You had a few minutes to spare before class started so you walked up to your partner. “Hey! How’d it go? Was she fussy?” You asked as you squatted down to see Riki, who was in her car seat on the floor next to his desk.
“Tch, no. I told you I know what I’m doing.” He grumbled.
“I’m pretty sure none of us know what we’re doing but it’s nice to know that you’re taking this seriously.” You replied standing back up.
“HA? YOU THINK I WOULD’NT? YOU THINK I’M NOT CAPABLE OF THIS?” He yelled as he let off small explosions.
“Course not. I did kinda think you would end up leaving most of this to me though. But it’s nice that you’re playing along.” You smiled sincerely.
Iida started ushering everyone to their assigned seats as class was about to begin. You patted Bakugou on his shoulder and left to your seat near the back of the class.
He clenched his fists and glared down at his desk, he could feel his heartbeat going wild again.
———————————————————————
A few days had passed and it was now Friday night and you were at your wits end.
It was your day with Riki and she had been crying non stop for thirty minutes now. You were pacing your room with her in your arms as the doll “sobbed” louder and louder with each agonizing minute. You had no idea what was wrong; you tried feeding her, changing her diaper, holding her, giving her a pacifier, you even tried the toys that they provided but nothing was working!
You were close to tears yourself as you thought about how this would affect your grade and how pissed Bakugou would be if you ruined it. The whole week went by just fine, it never took this long for her to settle down. You had gotten lucky with the baby you were given as she was so easy to care for, but this moment right now was proving difficult.
Feeling like you had no other choice, you left your room with your still wailing daughter in your arms and quickly made your way up to Bakugou’s room.
You knocked on his door while still trying to shush Riki. When Bakugou opened the door, he looked like he had just woken up which made you start ranting.
“Bakugou, fuck, I’m so sorry to bother you right now I know you like to go to bed early but she’s been crying like this for like thirty minutes now and I’ve tried everything but she just won’t stop crying and I don’t know what to do and I’m probably gonna make us fail cause I can’t get her to fucking stop and I just…” You panted “…can you please help me?” You nearly whined.
“Give her to me.” Bakugou reached out as you transferred her into his arms. He walked away with the crying doll, leaving his door open. You decided that was an invitation so you slipped into his room and gently closed the door behind you. You watched as Bakugou gently bounced the doll in his arms and started petting its blonde head.
You stared in awe as Riki started to finally quiet down until she was silent. You breathed out a sigh of relief but tears started to quickly gather in your eyes. Bakugou had opened his balcony door and stepped outside to the cool air. You ran a hand through your messy hair and followed them out onto the balcony. The not quite freezing but cold air nipping at your skin. It felt nice as you didn’t even notice that you were sweating from the stress. You bent over and rested your elbows on the railing and placed your head in your hands, trying to hold back your tears.
“She had been crying for so long…I tried everything but nothing worked. But the minute you have her she finally stops. What the hell am I doing wrong? Why am I such a bad mother?” You muttered more to yourself but your partner could hear you anyways.
A minute of silence went by as you tried to not let your tears fall when Bakugou finally spoke up, surprising gently. “Don’t beat yourself up over something you barely know how to handle.”
He leaned his back against the railing next to you. His arm barely grazing against your shoulder, his way of trying to comfort you. You sniffed and dropped your arms from your head and looked forward out into the dark courtyard.
“She’s been perfect this entire week. Nothing I couldn’t handle…but she just had to act like a total brat tonight.” You sighed.
“Hey.” Bakugou said sternly. “Don’t call our daughter a brat…that’s my line.”
You laughed at that, completely overlooking the fact that you called the doll “our daughter”. Bakugou softly smiled at your laugh, also not realizing exactly what he said. But her certainly felt his heart flutter as he looked down at the baby in his arms.
Bakugou decided he’d take her for the rest of the night so you could get some sleep. It was his turn tomorrow anyway.
———————————————————————
Monday had come by quickly, thus, ending the project. Recovery Girl had collected the dolls, and you couldn’t lie, you felt a little sad at the fact that you won’t have Riki around anymore. The class waited in anticipation to see whose grade was the lowest.
When the results came in, Midnight stood at the front of the class once again and started to call out the grades.
“Coming in last place is Sero and Mineta with a sixty-five.” Mineta started screaming about how unfair it was and that they got a faulty doll. “Todoroki and Ojiro have a score of thirty-four, Kaminari and Jirou have a thirty, Iida and Aoyama a twenty-seven, Usagi and Tokoyami with twenty-five, Shouji and Asui with twenty-one, Hagakure and Yayorozu with twenty, Mina and Kirishima with an eighteen, Satou and Kouda with a fifteen, Bakugou and (Y/N) with a score of eight, and lastly, coming in first place with the best score is Midoriya and Uraraka with a three! Good work everyone. I hope you all learned some valuable lessons from this experience!” Midnight finished.
There were high fives and cheers coming from the people with the lower scores and talks of what they could’ve done better from the people with higher marks.
You stared down at your desk smiling. Eight wasn’t so bad, right? Much better than what Mineta got.
At the front of the class, Bakugou has turned his head back to look at you and softly smiled to himself when he saw your relief. He turned back around to look down at his hands as he played with his pen. He could hear Midoriya and Uraraka being congratulated for the lowest score and for once in his life….he didn’t mind coming in second.
———————————————————————
Bonus:
Twelve years later, Bakugou had established himself as the number two hero with his own agency. You worked along side him as his number one sidekick. You both grew a lot since high school and grew closer from the experience. You managed to get rid of your inferiority complex and become more comfortable with using your quirk against villains rather than standing by and cheering on the heroes. You can also hold your own in combat pretty well now and you have a slew of support items to help.
But instead of kicking ass on the street you were laid out on a hospital bed after the longest 7 hours of your life. You were sweaty and exhausted, but it was all worth it as you looked at the little bundle in your arms. A head of blonde hair was peaking out of the blanket.
“What should we name her?” You whispered to the person leaning over you with their hand on your head and looking lovingly down at the newborn.
“…..Riki.” Bakugou said softly.

Willy Wonka NSFW Alphabet - REUPLOADED
SFW version here
PLEASE READ: my old blog (clownwritesfanfic) was deleted when my main blog attached to it got terminated for some unknown reason. I can’t get it back so I’m reuploading everything I had saved in my notes app. Sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment, trust me, I’m devastated, but with your help I can get back to my former glory so PLEASE reblog if you like it 🙏😭
———————————————————————
A = Aftercare (what they’re like after sex)
Sex with Willy isn’t too kinky so aftercare would be few and far between. Most times you’ll clean each other up and lay in bed cuddling and talking about whatever comes to mind. But for when you do get a little more “adventurous” there would be more questions of “are you alright?” “Did you have fun?” “What do you need?” And lots of praise
B = Body part (their favorite body part of theirs and also their partner’s)
Tbh Willy would probably like his brain. It is his best feature after all. How else would he be able to come up with all those good ideas for a new candy or chocolate?
On his partner, probably their brain too let’s be honest. He’d like an intelligent and creative person to keep up with him. But don’t worry if you don’t understand the more “technical” stuff. He loves to explain it all to you. As long as you’re able to give him ideas for candy or give feedback when he asks.
C = Cum (anything to do with cum, basically)
It would be sweet. Let’s be honest. He’s a chocolatier and candy maker, he’s bound to have eaten a lot of his own products. It wouldn’t be candy sweet but it would be a more sweet and salty flavour.
He definitely cums a lot. Rope after rope that probably lasts 30 seconds. It’s thick too. Definitely a shooter rather than a dribbler.
D = Dirty secret (pretty self explanatory, a dirty secret of theirs)
You probably think he’s got some secret sex dungeon or something but you’d be wrong.
He fantasizes about fucking you in every room of the factory tho. He’d never do it since he thinks sex should be done privately and he wouldn’t want to contaminate anything but he does think about it. Anytime you’re in the glass elevator with him, he’s thought about pressing you against the glass wall and taking you but it’s much too exposed. He wouldn’t want any of his beloved workers to see that. Plus, your body is just for him to look at.
E = Experience (how experienced are they? do they know what they’re doing?)
Oh god he’s a total virgin when you first get together. He was always so focused on building his business and finding new ways to make candy that he never really felt the urge or need to do anything with anyone. Plus he doesn’t like to be touched anyway.
He had only been kissed once before and he didn’t even instigate it, he was caught off guard by it.
He isn’t a very touchy person so I’d imagine it would take a long time before you start to have sex anyway.
Once you’ve been together for a while he starts to learn your body and what you enjoy and he gets more comfortable with your touch, even craves it sometimes.
He’s not crazy good or anything and he’s always open to learning more of what you like, but he makes you feel good.
F = Favorite position (this goes without saying)
Missionary most likely. It’s a classic. He likes watching you, let’s him know how he’s doing and he can kiss your lips or neck while doing so.
If you want to “spice it up” sometimes, Doggy Style or Cowgirl is probably the best. He’s not too interested in doing anything crazy or strenuous so don’t bother buying a copy of the Kama Sutra lol
G = Goofy (are they more serious in the moment? are they humorous? etc.)
Willy is a pretty silly guy. He’s got a childlike spirit but even then he can act like an adult. He’d take sex semi seriously, it’s very intimate and vulnerable for him but every once and a while he’ll crack a (bad) joke or find something to laugh at. It’s best if you don’t take it too seriously either.
H = Hair (how well groomed are they? does the carpet match the drapes? etc.)
He’s a vain person, never a hair out of place, clothes always clean and pressed. So I bet he’d take his personal hygiene very seriously as well. He wouldn’t be fully shaven, trimmed closely at the top of the base of his dick. It would probably be a little triangle.
I = Intimacy (how are they during the moment? the romantic aspect)
As said above, Willy finds sex to be very intimate so he’d be very attentive to you. He’s not good with words but he can be romantic through his actions. He just wants to make you feel good so speak up if you want something.
J = Jack off (masturbation headcanon)
He doesn’t really do it that often. Never did really. He only did it when he was younger and his hormones were going crazy but now that he’s older he doesn’t have the need to. If he ever feels in the mood he just finds you instead. If you don’t feel like it at the time or are too busy, he can wait. He doesn’t get really worked up out of no where so it won’t bother him.
K = Kink (one or more of their kinks)
His bdsm test score would be mostly red (ifykyk) he’s just not that kinky.
Candy is most likely going to be involved in one way or another on some occasions. Maybe some whip cream or chocolate sauce lol. I guess that would be considered a food kink.
If you wear those candy lingerie that look like those candy necklaces and bracelets he’d find it funny. It would probably also inspire him to make you some using his own candy (how dare you get candy from someone else) but it wouldn’t be sold. It would just be between you two.
He’s also a switch. Most of the time he’s “dominant” but he’d absolutely sub for you if you asked.
Not many crazy kinks but I can see some handcuffs and blindfolds appearing from time to time. Perhaps some feather teasing, temperature play, and edging as well.
L = Location (favorite places to do the do)
The bedroom is the only place he allows it to happen. He likes to keep his factory clean and sanitary and wants to keep his sex life between the two of you.
M = Motivation (what turns them on, gets them going)
If you start listing off new ideas for candy or new techniques he finds it really sexy and it usually gets him going.
This doesn’t necessarily turn him on but when he sees you being nice to the Oompa Loompas and laughing with him and watching their little performances, he does feel a lot of love for you. He loves knowing you adore and care for his workers as much as he does. Usually when he’s feeling that way you can expect some loving and romantic sex later that night.
N = No (something they wouldn’t do, turn offs)
He’d never do anything that would hurt you. The most he’d do is some spanking but don’t expect your ass to be burning later. He can’t stand the thought of you being hurt by his doing, even if you promise you’d like it.
No watersports or scat. He just got used to you touching him what makes you think he’d ever do something like that?
No threesomes either. He’s monogamous and wants to keep sex between you two only.
Also you’d probably think he’d be into latex/rubber considering his gloves but he doesn’t see latex as sexy. Just aesthetically pleasing. If you wore anything latex/rubber he’d think you’d look nice but he wouldn’t be turned on by it. (I mean just think about it, all the Oompa Loompas wear latex outfits so I really doubt he would have them wear something that would turn him on. He doesn’t even want to think of them that way)
O = Oral (preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc.)
God, this man can give oral like crazy. At first he was ok at it but he just kept getting better and better at it.
He prefers giving but wouldn’t turn down the offer to receive.
P = Pace (are they fast and rough? slow and sensual? etc.)
There are times where he can get fast and rough but for the most part he likes to take his time. He’s vulnerable during these moments so he likes to cherish it.
Q = Quickie (their opinions on quickies, how often, etc.)
He likes to take his time during intimate moments so quickies wouldn’t be much of a thing.
There was maybe one or two times where you needed him real bad before he had a meeting or something to do, so he took care of you quickly. He doesn’t mind those times but he much prefers to take his time with you.
R = Risk (are they game to experiment? do they take risks? etc.)
There was only one (1) time where you had done something outside of the bedroom.
You had given him a blowjob in the chocolate room behind some candy bushes and he only allowed it because it was at a time when he knew absolutely NO ONE would be around. He did it mostly for you but he’d prefer for it to not happen again. He did enjoy it even if his anxiety made it a little hard to get him off quickly.
You can ask him to try new things and I think he’s be open to trying them (with in reason) but he can’t guarantee it will be a reoccurring thing.
S = Stamina (how many rounds can they go for? how long do they last?)
Since he likes to take his time I would say a single round could take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour. That includes foreplay. I’d say he lasts about 10 minutes before he cums if you’re not edging him. He lasted much less when you first started tho.
If he’s not going to be too busy the next day then he could go for a second round.
T = Toys (do they own toys? do they use them? on a partner or themselves?)
Willy is a playful guy. I wouldn’t put it past him to have some kind of toys just for fun. Most likely to just be used on you but he wouldn’t complain if you used them on him too.
U = Unfair (how much they like to tease)
Probably a little teasing. He likes to watch you squirm and whine. He’s mischievous and playful so he likes to tease from time to time. You can tease him right back if you’d like.
V = Volume (how loud they are, what sounds they make, etc.)
He doesn’t make much noise and if he does it’s not very loud. Nothing above a regular speaking voice. He doesn’t dirty talk much either. He will sometimes during more fast and rough sessions but most of the time he’s just enjoying your sounds.
If you’re teasing him tho, he will whine. He’s such a whiner when you tease.
W = Wild card (a random headcanon for the character)
You were giving him a blowjob once and you were surprised when he came in your mouth with how he tasted sweeter than he usually did. It was so sweet in fact it felt like you were eating liquid candy.
He had figured out how to make a sugar pill that changes the flavour of cum and decided to surprise you with it.
In true inventor fashion tho, he asked for feedback on how it was almost immediately afterwards lol
X = X-ray (let’s see what’s going on under those clothes)
His body is mostly naturally hairless. Smooth chest and stomach but he probably has a very faint snail trail leading to his neatly trimmed pubes.
His cock is slightly above average. 6.5 inches erect, 4.5 inches flaccid, slightly girthy, average sized balls that hang slightly
Y = Yearning (how high is their sex drive?)
His drive isn’t very high. He can go a few days with out sex but if you asked he’d be down, so long as he wasn’t busy.
Since he’s always so busy he doesn’t feel the need to and if he ever did he’d just go find you but if you were busy he’d wait.
Z = Zzz (how quickly they fall asleep afterwards)
He’s probably tired after a long, eventful day since he’s always inventing new things and overseeing a whole factory all by himself. Then if you decide to have sex at night and not a quickie then he’d be tired after that as well. However he always seems to be thinking of new ideas so even if he’s exhausted his brain is still going so he’d cuddle with you afterwards and talk about whatever is on each other’s minds until one of you falls asleep first. The other is quick to follow.

Willy Wonka SFW Alphabet - REUPLOADED
NSFW version here
PLEASE READ: my old blog (clownwritesfanfic) was deleted when my main blog attached to it got terminated for some unknown reason. I can’t get it back so I’m reuploading everything I had saved in my notes app. Sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment, trust me, I’m devastated, but with your help I can get back to my former glory so PLEASE reblog if you like it 🙏😭
———————————————————————
A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)
Willy isn’t a very touchy person and he isn’t very good with words so he would show his affection through small acts of service or gifts to show that he appreciates you and is always thinking of you.
After being with you for a while he would start to tolerate little touches.
Please be patient with him. The physical affection will come with due time.
B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)
Willy is a very introverted man. He didn’t have many friends as a child and once he set out on his journey to become a chocolatier he didn’t have time to make any friends. You could say the Oompa Loompas became his friends and while he does value, appreciate, and care a lot for them, it’s mostly a boss and employee type of relationship.
However you somehow came into his life and declared yourself his friend. Like some friendships, there are ups and downs, pros and cons. But you both get over them soon enough and once he really accepts you as a friend you become as thick as thieves.
C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)
He’ll only cuddle you once he is fully ok with your touch. He’s not totally reject full of touch, he just doesn’t like strangers touching him. Once he gets to know someone they start to find out how touch starved he really is.
He won’t be clingy but he would be a tad disappointed if you moved away from him.
He’d probably be the big spoon most of the time but please let him be little spoon sometimes.
D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)
He’d only be content with “settling down” once he is 100% certain of handing his legacy over to his heir. Once Charlie is old enough and experienced enough to run the factory himself, he’d be ok with settling down. Don’t expect to leave the factory tho. That’s his home, he would never want to leave it. Plus he’d want to be there for Charlie if he ever needs help.
E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)
The only reason I could see him ending a relationship with someone is if their personality just didn’t fit with his or if he felt like his lifestyle wasn’t enough for his partner.
If he felt like you deserved a better life than spending it inside a factory and being away from him most of the day then he would encourage (more like gently force) you to leave and find someone better.
It would be hard for him, since once he likes and trusts someone it would be really hard for him to let them go. He doesn’t want to hurt you but he wants what’s best for you and if that means leaving him then he’ll learn to cope.
F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)
Willy doesn’t really see a point in marriage other than getting to call his partner his spouse and the tax benefits.
He thinks that if he’s been in a relationship with you long enough he should be able to call you his spouse if he wanted to, ring or not.
However if you wanted to get married and have a wedding he would do it, just promise him it’s gonna be a very small intimate wedding.
(He’d probably propose with a Ring Pop let’s be honest)
G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)
Sorry to say this but in the beginning, he won’t be very gentle emotionally. He’s used to being alone and he doesn’t like to fight but he’d end up coming off as a little insensitive to your feelings. He doesn’t mean to, he just gets so busy and stressed that you won’t be his top priority for a while.
Physically though, he’s not rough with you what so ever. He doesn’t want to hurt you.
H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)
As stated before, he’d have to know you for a while to be comfortable with hugs. The longer he knows you the longer and more often the hugs are.
At the beginning of him getting used to your touch he’d prefer quick side hugs but much later one he’d lovingly accept a full hug.
He wouldn’t like surprise hugs as much. He’d tolerate them but he’d much prefer to know it’s coming.
I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)
It would take Willy a LONG time before he could actually say the words. He likes to show his love through actions rather than words. In fact he may not ever say it. He would just assume you know that he loves you based off his actions. If you want him to actually say it you’d have to tell him. But be prepared for the conversation to be deflected, something about you mumbling.
He doesn’t like talking about his feelings so please don’t rush him and understand that he may never say it. But he does love you, you just have to see it rather than hear it.
J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)
Oh he gets jealous alright. He has never had someone love him the way you do and he doesn’t want to let that go.
He’d try to stay calm, he trusts you but he doesn’t trust the other person. He’d be silently seething, pretending not to notice but his grip on his cane has become increasingly tighter and his jaw is set firm.
Even if he trusts you, you may have to reassure him a bit.
K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)
He’s only been kissed once before you. It was when he was younger. He didn’t initiate it, it caught him off guard and he wasn’t very pleased.
Kissing you was different though. Like everything else, it took him a while to do it. It only started out as small pecks until he was comfortable with a full kiss.
He enjoys kissing you but he would rather keep it private and won’t kiss you around other people, not even the Oompa Loompa’s. He’ll allow you to kiss his cheek in front of other people but that’s about it.
L = Little ones (How are they around children?)
I mean…we’ve all seen the movie. He only tolerates kids if they’re polite and well mannered.
I do not think he would want a child of his own. He’s too busy and he would fear he’d end up like his father.
M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)
He gets up early. He’s got a whole factory to run you know.
If you’re a morning person: he would enjoy the time you share getting ready in the morning. Willy is the kind of person to shower in the morning, he’s too tired to do it at night. If you shower in the morning as well then you’d probably shower together. Don’t expect anything naughty to happen tho.
If you’re not a morning person: he’d try to be as quiet as possible to let you sleep in. He won’t let you sleep in too late but he’ll let you get a few more hours in. Before he leaves he’ll give you a kiss on the head.
N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)
He’s usually exhausted at the end of the night. So much to do when running a factory and inventing new candies. Sometimes when he’s close to a break through or he’s on an “inventing high” as you like to put it, you have to force him to relax and go to sleep before he over exerts himself.
If neither of you are planning anything…naughty…then you’d both do your night time routines together. Be prepared to be waiting a while for him, his night time routine can be long.
O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)
Willy is a very private man. He doesn’t like talking about his childhood or his father and if you try to bring it up he will deflect immediately.
He will start to slowly open up to you more and more over time but it’s hard for him to do. He becomes very vulnerable. He doesn’t like thinking of his past when he has everything he’s ever dreamed of in the present.
P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)
He surprisingly has a good amount of patience. He can get ticked off easily but to make him really angry is hard.
You would need an insane amount of patience with him as well. He won’t show physical affection for a long time, he probably won’t talk about you to other people (he’s very private), won’t open up for a while, won’t be around you a lot, and he may come off as insensitive to your feelings sometimes.
He means well, and he does love and care about you. You just have to be patient.
Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)
He remembers a surprising amount of things. He’s used to not having a notepad when he has a new idea so his memory has gotten pretty good.
He’s good with remembering little details but he’d be awful with dates and names. Everyday is the same for him so he doesn’t bother checking the date. So he may forget a birthday or anniversary of yours. Please don’t be too mad. He’d make it up to you.
R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)
His favourite memory is probably when he first showed you around his factory. He loved how you lit up with wonder with each new room you saw. He also loved how you treated the Oompa Loompas so well.
S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)
He’s not super protective but he likes to be safe than sorry. He’d rather you stay in the factory, he trusts you to not do anything stupid, plus he knows the Oompa Loompa’s would watch over you. They adore you as well so there’s no way they’d let you get hurt or lost.
However if and when you do decide to leave the factory for a while he’d rather you go out the back. The front is too obvious and he wouldn’t want you to be affiliated with him in public, lest you be hounded by nosy nelly’s. He trusts you, he really does. But he probably would send an Oompa Loompa to secretly tail you just in case. They are small enough to go undetected by the public, but you know. You recognize those footsteps behind you. You can’t be mad at Willy. You understand he just wants to make sure you’re safe. It’s one of the ways he shows he loves you.
T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)
Willy doesn’t like to half ass anything. However, don’t expect lavish dates or gifts. He may be hella successful but he’s humble as well.
Most dates would happen around the factory and I wouldn’t doubt that he’d have the Oompa Loompa’s choreograph a song and dance for you. Any gift you’d receive he would make himself, he loves giving you new candies to try. It’s his way of letting you get involved in his work.
U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)
If he’s really engrossed in something, he’ll unintentionally ignore you. You could be talking to him and he’ll be like “uh huh” “sounds nice”. He doesn’t mean to, he’s just very invested in his thoughts.
V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)
He’s very vain. He has a whole room just for hair cream. It was made specially for him. Did you see how critical he was of his hair cut? He had a whole head of brown hair and one gray hair freaked him out.
His skin is also always so smooth and soft. His night time routine is so long cause he’s doing skin care.
His clothes are always so clean and neat.
He was very self conscious as a kid, especially with that damn contraption on his head. Now he takes so long to make sure he’s looking and feeling his best.
W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)
When Charlie first declined his offer, he went on a spiral and felt like shit and he barely even knew the boy.
But if you left, he’s sure he wouldn’t survive (he can be quite dramatic). He’d try really hard to keep going, but he’d miss you. He’d miss waking up next to you, seeing you interact with his workers, seeing how your face lit up every time he showed you a new invention. He missed everything about you.
As we know, if Willy isn’t feeling good, his candy won’t taste good. I wouldn’t be surprised if his sales declined. Maybe they’d get so bad he’d have to shut down the factory (again).
X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)
He’s surprisingly good at drawing. It would make sense that he could draw landscapes and scenery considering he had to have drawn the blueprint for Prince Pondicherry’s castle, his factory, and all the rooms inside. But what’s surprising is he can draw people as well.
Many times he’ll find his thoughts drifting away while drawing a new blueprint for a new candy or perhaps a new room and when he finally snaps out of it he notices he’s drawn you. He gets embarrassed but he never throws away any of them. But he also hasn’t shown you. He’s much too embarrassed about that.
Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)
Someone who’s all around rotten or selfish. He’s a very generous man so don’t take him for granted. Don’t expect a sugar daddy or anything. He won’t spoil you, but sometimes he may spoil you a tiny bit on special occasions.
He’d also want you to have good hygiene. He’s a very organized and clean man. He doesn’t want someone who’s messy and dirty. (All the depressed bitches punching air rn, I know, I am too lmao)
Also if you don’t like candy or chocolate what the hell are you even doing with him? His whole life revolves around it so he’d only want someone who enjoys it at least a normal amount or as much as him.
Also, have you ever seen how a pet will act aggressively or scared with a certain person but you’ve never seen that person be mean to the pet? It’s the same with the Oompa Loompa’s. He’s very connected with them and can read their body language very well. If you disrespect them when he’s not around, he will know and he won’t stand for it.
Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)
This man is a DEEP sleeper when he’s exhausted. And he’s exhausted a LOT. The only thing that can wake him is his alarm. Have fun trying to wake him yourself. And if you do manage to wake him up, he’s one of those people that wake up scared.
He’ll have the occasional nightmare. If you can’t wake him up (you probably shouldn’t anyway) just reach over and hold his hand or rub his arm, it will calm him down.
He’s also a slight sleep talker. You can’t hold conversations with him but he’ll mumble out some sentences here and there. You’ve caught your name a few times.

“I had a new wonka thing planned” *BUSTS THROUGH THE DOOR* can we…get a little rundown of the plot/idea itself please? 🥺 (totally fine if you don’t want to)
KDNDNDNNSNSNSKSBSN
Basically it’s the same original plot with CATCF but instead of five kids it’s six and reader is the sixth kid
I don’t mess with the original plot too much it’s more so a “what if” lmao. There’s no romance or anything since reader is a kid but i think it will be fun to write
I don’t want to give too much away

yeah I was confused when I was looking at who I was following but I didn’t see your acc and I honestly got a little bit sad because I had NONE of your Willy wonka stuff saved or reblogged 😭
It SUCKS! But I still have most if not all my stuff saved in my notes. Reuploading them will be really annoying and time consuming though but I’ll try to have everything back asap :(
I also had a new Wonka idea planned but idk when I’ll be able to start it now

Text
Imagine the first time with inexperienced!Five…
Like we know he’s touch starved. But who isn’t in the academy?
Imagine season 4 during those six years he finds comfort in you. Your touch soothes him it feels like how it does to blink so electrifying.
Just imagine one of your first times with him, worshipping that god-like man in your bed. His whimpers and whines when you place gentle touches on his narrow hips dragging fingers up his stomach to caress his face. The way he begs for your touches and his attempts to hold back those whines as you deliver searing hot kisses on his neck and shoulders.
Five breaking as you tease him by stopping the touches as you ask him so sweetly to release the whimpers. The sound sweet as he lets out a whine as you bit down on his neck rewarding the good boy.
Five seeks out your touch whenever he can and however he can. His favorite is just curled up with you after dinner watching tv as he reads a book. Five lives to be close but he’s not fond of pda just because he’s not big on putting the relationship in the spotlight. And that’s not because he is ashamed or anything it’s he’s private and just old fashioned that way.
