I suddenly realized that Evil Ford can be easily defeated with the Memory Gun, since he doesn't have a metal plate in his head. After all, why would he need protection from his friend?

He has a metal plate.

In Evil Ford's timeline, the fact that he freely let Bill possess him meant Bill could use Ford's body to sneak into dimensions/worlds he'd previously been locked out of.

So to stop this, the Oracle kidnapped Ford and stuffed a metal plate in his head.

Bill and Ford are both very depressed about this.

Thinking about how (a humanoid) Bill would see Ford be older after those 30 years (because that’s how people work), and so to try and appeal to him again, he makes himself look older too (I mean, he’s WAYYYY older than Ford actually, but I just mean visually)

But then after he’s killed and sent to the Theraprism, he goes back to his original twink look, and I say this because I already did a drawing of my humanoid Bill in prison and I like how that design worked with his pathetic traumatized orange jumpsuit look more than I think I would like it with an older looking version 😁 plus uhh I don’t wanna deem that drawing “not canon” to my brain so yeah

me: at the end of the day a character is their choices, and the canon choice that bill cipher makes is to never grow up or change into a better person. this is his defining characteristic that sets him apart from the rest of the characters who do grow and change. a redeemed bill cipher is no longer bill cipher. he's just a silly little guy hanging around the mystery shack making googoo eyes at ford
