Bad writing is when you have the woman that would drop everything, including a huge box of stuff, in order to not miss her loved one’s call when he’s away, who would dig him out of a grave, who would willingly stand right next to him as he’s strapped to a bomb, who had just moved in with him, give up on him after a few months of him missing and be okay with NOT KNOWING if he’s alive or dead.

#hudson and rex #and you've also established her as a certified badass who can literally do anything too #she wouldn't go look for him? no one would except for a guy who they know for a minute?#hi yes I'm still extremely unhappy about this #I have like ten different ways the finale can be resolved by the way (writers contact me I'll give them to you for free)#but even if everything goes well the show gets renewed and john reardon comes back #then this will sting forever and they can't change it because of the fucking 'several months later' scene #of course I'd rather have a good outcome than anything more stupid don't get me wrong #if this turns out to be my only gripe then I can convince myself to watch the next season if there is one
