watching behind every good man 1967 and missing baby queen 2022 so much. and many other chinese trans documovies, featuring scene and/or sequences where the subject dresses themselves in private or behind-the-curtain, so to speak. sometimes it feels rather voyeuristic and exploitative, but sometimes it's very sweet and intimate, and just wonderfully mundane.

#me is mark #scenes about dressing oneself or preparing oneself for the day is always highly appealing to me ofc #but especially love it in documovies #baby queen 2022 having a lot of them because it's a drag queen documentary ofc #and not a trans movie but those dressing room/green room makeup sequences in new beijing new marriage 2009 #so so so satisfying and lovely
