HI SORRY I know I said I I’d post more about Orpheus and Phoebe awhile back, I just I THOUGHT I KNEW what to write about them next only to realize, I have no FECKIN CLUE 😅

Yeah I got stumped, I’m still trying to string their story together though, I just took a short break from posting about them and went to redesign two VERY OLD characters I have that DESPERATELY needed a new look, as well as new names

They’re not treasure planet ocs but I still like em and I kinda missed thinking about em

This one’s Laureen Cucurbit, the name they had in their old design was Melone, at first she was some negative Nancy who just straight up didn’t like being around people, so glad I changed her, now they’re perfectly fine with people they just don’t interact with them often unless approached or on the job since their job involves going to people’s houses, they’re a long distance messenger, the reason they have this job is cause they like to travel, in the drawing they’re in their early 20s

The one is Laureen’s sister, her name is Meliin Cucurbit, in her old design her name was just Melin and she honestly didn’t have a personality then, and I still don’t really know what she does for a job now but I do know that gardening is her hobby, she love’s going out and meeting people, she has a personality this time and just don’t know how to explain it 😅 if she was in a friend group she’d be the cheerful mom friend with some bounce to her (meaning she can be very energetic pinkie pie style) so her tails are constantly moving, in the drawing she’s also in her early 20s but slightly older then Laureen

Ok ok ok, I saw this question on other blogs so I have to ask here. Who of the ROs would look back and who wouldn't in an orpheus/eurydice situation?

Athalia/Asher: Wouldn’t look back. Of course, A knows the story like the back of their hand — look back and the MC’s gone forever; not that that knowledge would stop them worrying. They’d have a clenched jaw, their heart would be pounding, they would’ve cracked each knuckle at least twice, looks up to the heavens and prays that their godly relatives would show them any type of sign… anything to get them through such a painful walk.

Blaire/Blaze: Looks back. There would be a lump in their throat, one they’d try to swallow down but it would get harder to do so at each step. They’d gnaw their bottom lip, enough to draw blood and with their emotions all over the place, they’d try relying on their werewolf senses — listen out for the MC’s footsteps, and when they don’t hear them that’s when they’d have no choice but to turn. They’d see the MC fade away and there are many things that B hasn’t forgiven themselves for… and this scenario would be high on the list.

Kiana/Kaidan: Looks back… at literally the last second. Acts the most confident. They need to put on a brave face. They have to. They’ve gotten so far in life by only trusting a few, by not admitting the truth to themselves — they have to do it one more time. Get through it for a few more steps but… there’s a reason they only trust a few, why they’re someone who needs reassurance; and it’s when they make a quick turn back that they realise living without the MC is not a life they want to live. But it’s too late…

Phoebe/Phoenix: Wouldn’t look back… but very almost does. I think this would be the only scenario that P would go head > heart. They have to do this for the MC, stay logical, trust the process and in the end everything will be okay. But all that thinking isn’t without subconsciously thinking of the worst case scenario, or tugging at their blond(e) hair, or without letting a few tears stream down their rosy cheeks. P’s experienced loss before, they can’t lose out again.
