Okay, but really, this whole comic is just so… nice. It’s one of those ones that’s really wholesome start to finish. There are a lot of wholesome ones.

Characters have influence. If someone sees a character they like acting a certain way, or expressing a certain opinion, they’re more likely to do the same. The Archie comics, from what I’ve seen, use this power for good.

(They also use it to advertise caprisun, but hey, nobody can be noble 24/7, ‘specially if they’ve got bills to pay.)

yes he can!! his mouth is openable! he just doesn’t open it often since he doesn’t need to in order to speak

no, he doesn’t need to eat or drink, and he often doesn’t. but it’s good for him, helps supplement his internals so he isn’t running on fumes (he otherwise runs on various forms of energy conversions ex. kinetic, solar, electricity… he’s a complicated fellow and i’m not a science expert, point is he can survive without food/drink for fuel. …barely).

mayhaps having y/n around will encourage him to eat, though!

A lot of people think my autism is “getting better” but I think a lot of it has to do with being an adult and being able to make my own decisions. I used to have frequent meltdowns and shutdowns and on the outside seemed more “obviously” autistic. But I’m 19 now, so I have a lot more say in my life. I only buy one brand of socks. I only own 2 types of shoes. All of my clothes are the exact same. I only eat what *I* want to eat and think feels safe. I can drive and can choose when to leave for appointments and obligations. If I were still a child and forced to wear socks with seams in the toes or clothes that fit me wrong or foods that trigger my sensory issues or have my routine thrown off by other people, I would have A LOT more issues. But since I’m an adult, I have control over most aspects of my life. I’m not “less autistic” now, I just have more free will and know myself well enough to avoid triggers.

Finn spends a lot of time swimming in the ocean, so Avery checks him over periodically to make sure he stays healthy and free of parasites! This is sometimes a difficult process… 🤭

He doesn’t have a lot of feeling in his tail, mostly just the ability to sense pain, pressure and temperature.

so sick and tired of people writing fics about jeremy treating kevin like shit over kevin leaving jean at the nest like that is either 1) in character 2) something jean would appreciate or 3) fair. do you even bother to read the books you’re writing fanfic about or is the urge to create cheap angst so overwhelming you can’t see past the tropes you write for every other fictional pairing you like? the idea that jean would appreciate jeremy going out of his way to poke old wounds in his and kevin’s relationship when jean himself does not even like for jeremy to joke about kevin near him is absurd, and that’s without mentioning the fact that jeremy is not so clueless as to think he has any idea of what the nest was like, or why kevin felt he had to leave the way he did. if you need something to make your ship more interesting thinking beyond your flat interpretation of it is a lovely start, but don’t use kevin’s name and storyline if you’re just going to butcher it for the sake of a milquetoast sob fest the characters involved in would not even appreciate
