Sooo this was meant to look more like a poster originally, or some kind of flyer advertising Derek Hale. Maybe for a Hale Gym, or Derek as a popular trainer to see in battle, or relating to the Hale Daycare. My personal headcanon includes the Hale family as some high ranking battlers with their own ranch/daycare where they breed and train Pokémon. I know I didn’t draw a full team for Derek, but I did brainstorm a tentative team including (but not limited to): Mightyena, Luxray, Altaria, and Cubone (because, seriously. Cubone = Derek). I considered Ninetails as well, but I really like the idea of his mom having one that keeps an eye on the whole family. 

As for Stiles (not pictured so far) I’ve written up Scrafty, Joltik, Frogadier, and a Gengar passed down from his mom. I want to draw Sterek with both of their teams in one image someday, which is a crazy undertaking I’m not prepared to start yet. But I would like to hear everyone else’s ideas for their teams! Which Pokémon do you think suit Derek and Stiles best?
