(also, why did wdtyg have to go up against BB man! They are both such great AUs, and wdtyg is gaining more popularity and love lately, which makes me happy. But BB is such a BIG and well-known AU man. Not that it doesn't deserve the love and to be as big it does, it totally does! Iit is one of my favorite AUs for a reason. But still, bad luck for wdtyg to go up against BB though, man. Oh well, I love them both and they both win to me anyway. And hopefully, this tournament will get people to check out and into BB and WDTYG if they haven't already and also the other great AUs involved too!)

One of my favorite AUs ever and one of my fav. Rise Leos and Rise Donnies (BB) against another favorite of mine with such a good 2012 Future Leo and Future Leo and Cleo stuff!! And Big Mama and Leo history. And Sentient and/or Sapient Metalhead. And Leo is so big, and cool, and just done with everything. And has trauma and grief. And a electric sword. And uggghhh.

Long, long post. Mostly me rambling. Have a lovely day :)

I watched 2012 tmnt when I was little so I got used to the vibe that one has, like the darker colors and stuff. So the first time I saw Rottmnt I was like

woah

It’s super colorful, there’s a lot of hyper activity, a lot more jokes, and it’s pretty obvious that it was made for the attention of little kids

so I didn’t watch it. It just didn’t really grab my attention, and I didn’t watch it until I saw a clip of the opening scene in the movie. And then I was like

so I went ahead and watched the show. And it was amazing, and I loved it, and I’m a huge fan of Rottmnt. Not to mention the fandom (at least here on tumblr) is actually awesome to interact with, everyone is really excited to talk about the show and share headcanons and art and it’s amazing.

I’ve gotten into other fandoms and content through the Rottmnt original content creators too. I’m sure that a lot of people know the Cass apocalyptic series, which was incredibly written and drawn and had me coming back to read it over numerous times. And the comic also led me to read Casserole’s original content, Marble Sky, which is amazing as well by the way.

And the au comics are amazing, too. I read the Mutation Situation, I read Jacob’s Ladder, Two Arms Left, TizSepAu, Villan Leo, Kid Leo, Redline, Swanatello, Gemini Twins, Bloodbath au and a lot more I’m not mentioning.

Rottmnt is a kids show. Same as the Powerpuff Girls, or Paw Patrol, or any other kids show out there. It’s not for everyone. It’s catered to a target audience, which happens to be little kids who’s attention is caught by the bright colors, and hyper activity, and the 2D artstyle. It’s not for everyone, same as every other tmnt iteration, same as all content everywhere. I don’t expect anyone to go out of their way to watch Rottmnt, especially if it doesn’t interest them, and you don’t have to watch the show to interact with the community either. You can enjoy the community without enjoying the show.

You do you. Do whatever makes you feel good. I just hope that everyone’s experience with tmnt, and the tmnt community is as positive as mine is. I saw a post talking about all the reasons the blogger did not enjoy Rottmnt. I read the whole thing. It made sense, I understand why they didn’t like it, and I just disagree. I didn’t pick a fight. I just liked the post and moved on.

Recently I’ve seen a lot of people picking fights over disagreements a tv show made for kids. Not a lot are actually engaged in, which is good, but we really shouldn’t be picking fights at all. Basically, all this to say, you do you. Do what makes you happy. And if you disagree with people, just do that. Disagree. You don’t have to fight, or be rude, or anything. I’m all for debating, as long as it remains respectful.

I’m very aware that I can’t control other people and dictate how they interact with others, but I can suggest that we’re just nice to each other. Please.

And jc realizes he's his brother's kid and gives him "the bow of a dead beloved shixiong" - only sect bro older than jc was wwx, but no one living remembers. Greatwriting

17. Hi there. So I'm currently in the mood of reading wangxian AU or canon divergence fics. If possible the fics shouldn't be a short story, and I really, really just want WangXian, other characters may appear or mentioned, but I'm not in the mood of reading other chara's self importance appearance, so yeah just wangxian.

E.g a canon divergence when LWJ took WWX to an exile after the bloodbath in Nightless City, or a scenario where they were in the run, or the post 13 years WangXian just run away and don't give a shit about the revenge drama NHS and JGY are having about, anyway, it must be 90% of the fic, should be about wangxian.

To be more specific, perhaps some canon divergence where wangxian just don't give a shit about the cultivation world? Either before the First siege happen, or post 13 years, but preferably before wwx dying because I think it's a pity for a fine man like YLLaozu to die, lol. Just a pair of husband running away, live in seclusion, feeling discovery, etc.

Or an AU of soulmate or abo, or martial arts au, royal drama au, where it's, again, only about wangxian.

HMMM. Little Kid With a Big Death Wish is my all time fav fic rn. A Samurai and Ninja Love Story is a great series I’m very much looking forward to updating (ﾉ´ヮ´)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ It’s the only reason I even gave Leosagi a chance tbh. I also enjoy this V!Leo series so far, and genuinely if anyone has any good villain leo fics/comics I WANT THEM. There’s a lotta Donnie, but I want Leoooo.

In general, I enjoy a lot of “Future Turtles Coming Back In Time” AUs (and I love that more people are exploring that beyond Peepaw Leo 🥺), and of course Leo being in the prison dimension for longer than just 5 mins. Okay, so I just read the new batch of pages and OH MY GOD KARAI IS HERE???

That kinda confuses me, since Karai is a Hamato and so is Splinter, who is technically the "Not really eveil but still not a morally good person" kinda character. In the last page we got recently, Karai tells Mikey that his family is in danger, and then Mikey does the pog meme. Is she referring to the Hamato side of the fam by implying that Shredder will exist or something?? What of the Foot Clan? is she against them now that they've turned over a new leaf in this AU??

How does she even know anything if she's technically dead?????

Also that pretty shikieri is good shit, how did they meet? & ice: Konishi, war: megumi or sho, death: Uzuki? (Ice/death maybe switched but Konishi has an ice theme in game)

[the comic] yup Neku is resurrected by Josh’s hated life magic. gets them im trouble with a certain red-haired Reaper bc resurrection is forbidden magic, but thankfully they’re under protection from a god so it’s all good in the end

(to be more exact, Hanekoma steps in like ‘nope not happening no one is getting punished here’ mostly to save Neku but also to hide the fact that Josh can not, in fact, be ended by a Reaper)

during that same fight, Josh kind of really flips his shit and basically makes a bloodbath, which isn’t really a problem for him usually, but he doesn’t just use his space magic for it. and killing people with life magic, while really effective, has pretty heavy consequences on the user

shikieri is best, so obviously i couldn’t pass up that opportunity

how did they meet you ask… well, Eri is a treasure hunter, and one day while fishing for information in a tavern, she meets this pretty and smiling and mysterious lady who shows her a ring and tells Eri she found it near Misa river and like, she’s pretty sure there’s more

she ends up giving the ring to Eri while kind of sending her on a quest for treasure

and Eri does find treasure near Misa river, but more importantly she finds Shiki, shy and awkward and incredibly cute metamorph, and they become friends. and when Eri learns that Shiki is on her own there shes like ‘no that wont do youre coming with me’ and Shiki does come with Eri and they hunt for treasure together and own a little cottage in the woods of Saku and are very gay the end

Kitaniji is a very tired god of War. he has a lot of work outside of Shibu, so when he finds the time to rest he goes there. during the first godly war, he was one of the main reasons Life’s side won, though he lost his sight during the fight. (there are some who say he gave up his sight willingly to stop seeing the horrors done in his name) he can smell trouble coming, and wishes Josh would help as Life did in Its timeto him, Shibu is a place to rest, and a place he wants to protect with all his heart

Death - Uzukithis one is wrong, sorry !! but Death is a very hard one on purpose, so don’t give up !! for your trouble (and since you got 2 out of 3 right) ill give you Uzuki

Ice priestess - UzukiUzuki is a terribly powerful Ice priestess. she might not be the highest ranked of her temple, but she sure as hell is the strongest when it comes to magic. when she isn’t perfoming her duties, she hangs out with some lazyass who is always late (takes after his mom he says) and likes to gamble. she cant even remember how they met. probably at Ramen-Donshe really wants to make high-priestess and serve her goddess as well as she can
