I feel like at this point I've established enough of a workflow with the menu/calendar and worksheet things that I don't actually need to "borrow" stuff from that one site anymore if I don't want to, which is great because a lot of the sample images they have on that site are so small that even waifu2x can't save them, and I'm running out of the ones that are usable

#in the back of my head I'm also slightly paranoid that the company that owns the menu art might eventually find out and get mad #whereas like I don't think microsoft is gonna ever notice that I'm borrowing old clip art (and this is basically what it's intended for)#and jump or kadokawa or arcsys or whatever isn't gonna care that I'm using cutouts of their shit for flavor #although idk maybe if wwgg ever gets large enough to be making nonzero amounts of money things would be different #but at that point the ability to commission art or get access to modern stock image/art libraries would also be available #someday I would absolutely love to find an archive of like #scans of kids menus used at various chains though #I found a database once that had old restaurant menus but I couldn't find anything from modern chains #still interesting though #weird little cul de sac of graphic design
