Pretty boy used to be A Face that would come up in his mind when he thought of the term. There was no specifics in mind, just like. Pretty Boy. Pretty boy! You say that and theres like a Face Template that shows up in ur minds eye and hed just attribute that to any dude who was like Vaguely Pretty. It drives him insane bc like he did Not see any of these things as like inherently girly or whatever. Like thats just akira thats just his bro! He wears that AWFUL gym uniform and doesnt tweak it AT ALL?? He likes baseball?? hes got a whole binder of trading cards that he will show off if u show any moment of weakness. john and arthur's relationship development is so funny to me. they start out hating each other's guts and both of their biggest goals is to get the fuck away from each other. but then they go through the horrors together and are now hopelessly codependent to the point where they both cant even CONSIDER losing the other. and they also killed several people and ate at least one guy along the way

What happened to the other watchdogs? Are they also knights? Would Andy be making newspapers in this au? Does Lackey remember their birthdays?

they're knights and pages and royal guards! since lackadaisical disappeared, they haven't had anything official to do, so they've been busying themselves however they can. at some point during the story, i think lord lackadaisical would mail a letter addressed to the watchdogs that grants them control over the kingdom's assets, so they start organizing and helping out the kingdom on their own! he's like the opposite of a union buster. i do not think he knows their names, but he knows a few of them personally.

and yeah, i think andy would do some kind of newsletter, or maybe a podcast! the aesthetic of the kingdom is very medieval, but they've still got the technology they have in the original series.
