Random Kageyama Tobio HCS
Word Count: 1851
Warnings: just... me being in love with a m*n other than masumi 😔 also! these are my headcanons as in,,, what i personally i think he’d be like ‼️ also me projecting my ideal man into him (as if he wasn’t it already 😋)
A/N: i... i love tobio so much it’s literally unreal... i couldn’t wait for a request (i’m still working on the remaining 4 too lolol) so take me projecting my love for tobio >:(
— Kageyama normally wears loose fitting clothes or athletic-style clothing. His favorite go to outfits tends to be a loose tee, some loose pants with an obnoxious Nike logo he swears are super cool but look like two garbage bags sewed together, and running shoes. Throw a hoodie in there for colder weather, even then he still manages to look good.
— He takes very good care of his hair, like freaky good care, because of Miwa. Once she enrolled in cosmetology school and she saw Kageyama use the same baby shampoo from when they were kids she freaked out (if she’d been any later he’d start using 3-in-1) and chewed his ear off about hair care. His hair is super shiny and there’s literally no freeze, he uses nice smelling shampoo and conditioner too. Ugh, I love him.
— He has a very sensitive nose but it gets clogged easily so he doesn’t notice much unless it miraculously unclogs itself and he’s complaining about everything.
— “Eh! Hinata, why’d you smell like a fucking axe bottle?!” “Why does no one say anything about Tsukishima smelling like strawberries?” “Yamaguchi smells like... milk.” “Hah?! Sugawara smells bad-?!”
— He says he’s a picky eater to appear cool but as long as you don’t say what’s in the food he’ll down it. He’ll say he doesn’t like carrots but if you give him a salad with carrots he might even say “it’s the best salad he’s ever had”.
— He’s a hot sleeper, and not in the “oh he’s sexy” type of way. I’m talking, he’ll sweat buckets if he sleeps with anything other than a flimsy white t-shirt and his underwear.
— Might be me projecting my love for bunny teeth but he has bunny teeth, his front teeth are a bit bigger than average (not to the point it’s super noticeable but it’s still something Miwa teased him about), his aunties probably squeezed his cheeks and called him “baby bunny” when he was younger.
— He doesn’t go to sleep later than 9PM, he thinks if he does it’ll ruin his schedule (which it will) and fuck up his body - he’s seen Miwa screw up hers after she pulled a bunch of all nighters in her third year in high school and has been afraid since.
— The type to forget people were coming over and come out of his room shirtless asking for his clean underwear.
— His sister forced him to let her cut and style his hair which led to many questionable hairstyles. Tsukishima is genuinely so grateful to Miwa, especially when she was first starting - he’s got some pictures of Tobio with the shortest most embarrassing bangs ever saved in his phone in a file for blackmail if the need for it ever presented itself.
— Likes pissing people off on purpose sometimes, during one of the training camps he probably walked into the bath with socks on and was made fun of but out of spite he just… never took them off. Said he’d done it on purpose and all too. Tanaka cried out of fear for like a hot minute when he saw him standing under the shower with Iron Man socks on.
— He’s so petty too, if you make fun of him for messing up he’ll remember until you embarrass yourself to make fun of you. And when I say he remembers, I mean it - he can’t for his life remember when to use make and do in english but he remembers when Hinata made fun of him for wearing different socks back on their first year and yes he will bring it up on their second year when he did the same thing what are you going to do about it?
— Probably got scouted for a modeling agency once and began running away because he thought they were trying to kidnap him.
— If he had Tiktok… he would’ve gone viral after posting a video of him practicing, he posted for a while for fun and to flex on people that he was hot but then he saw a comment saying they wanted to drink his milk under a video of him drinking milk and he deleted his account, he can’t buy from that brand for a while.
— He’s got a video of a gorilla walking in two legs saved on his phone for when he’s feeling down and watches it whenever he’s not going well. People think he’s texting his S/O but no, he’s just watching a gorilla walk like minecraft Steve.
— He can’t pose for pictures to save his life, his default pose is an NPC stance with his arms stiffly hanging down and his eyes wide in surprise, don’t ask him to smile or else he will look like a serial killer.
— He’s got a bit of baby fat on his cheeks that won’t disappear no matter what. It’s become a pre-game ritual to pinch his cheeks. He’s also got dimples you can really only see when he smiles naturally but he doesn’t know and he’d get shy if he knew and try covering his face so don’t tell him, that’s a fact he told me so himself.
— Cannot dance to save his life. He’s so long (?) his limb control is non-existent, it appears in game and vanishes when he steps out of the court. He really just bounces on his heels and moves his arms like a t-rex, don’t ask more of him.
— Buys his clothes one size bigger just in case and Miwa teases him saying he’ll need them when he gets old and fat.
— Gets asked out often but always rejects, then has the audacity to complain he’s never dated anyone like he hasn’t turned down half of the school's population.
— Can’t sing. He’s got a nice speaking voice but ask him to sing and he’s out of tone, out of sync, out of breath, and out of the room in 5 seconds.
— Sugawara joked about having him singing as his alarm clock and Kageyama actually believed him, probably sent him a new recording as a gift after he annoyed him during practice.
— Surprisingly funny when he wants to but most jokes fly over people’s heads since he seems so serious most of the time, it annoys him to no end. Yachi still struggles differentiating when he is and isn’t joking because his tone literally doesn’t change at all and she doesn’t want to offend him.
— When he was younger he liked to collect rocks, not even the pretty ones he’d pick the most average, raggedy rocks off the ground and clean them up and tuck them to bed because he saw Miwa play with her barbies like that. Still owns his first rock, he named it “Johnson” after Dwayne Johnson, aka the rock (he’s had to explain it so many times he’s exhausted).
— Accidentally drank expired milk once and didn’t notice until his stomach began hurting and he thought he became lactose intolerant and he was inconsolable for days until he realized it had expired like a month ago - he went on a milk shopping spree and the milk sales that week saw a 20% rise from the last few months.
— Tobio had bad handwriting until he was in Junior High because his teachers couldn’t understand him and had him practice calligraphy, his handwriting is now one of the prettiest ones in the team and he’s the official inker of the VBC posters (as designated by Goddess Yachi Hitoka herself).
— His biggest fear for a long time was getting eaten by piranhas because he saw it happen so often in cartoon shows he genuinely thought it was going to be a bigger deal than it turned out to be but for like a solid 6 years of his life he avoided suspicions puddles just in case.
— Kageyama has a habit of rolling and unrolling his sleeves when he’s deep in thought, it soon made way to a habit of checking his wrist watch (he absolutely has a wrist watch, you cannot change my mind on that) but not actually reading it.
— His nails are very pretty, like most setters, he takes very good care of them. They’re filed down to a perfect length and he puts oils and creams, his hands in general are so nice. He takes a lot of pride in them, you know his cuticles are pushed back and trimmed and he could absolutely be a hand model. Kags’ hands are calloused, he’s a volleyball player of course they are, but it’s not to the extent of Ushijima or Daichi’s hands.
— Talking about hands, it’s probably one of his favorite features on people. He loves holding hands with his S/O and tracing the wrinkles in their palm, being able to interlock fingers with them and feel the bumps in them.
— Mumbles to himself when in thought too! Very nonsensical if you’re not informed on what he’s thinking about, if he’s thinking about you he’ll mumble your name or something like “pretty eyes”.
— Has a very healthy diet, like extremely healthy and thought out. He won’t eat anything too sugary or that could throw off his body, but he does have cheat days (which are rare but exist). He also doesn’t drink much soda or alcohol (once he’s of age).
— Things like smoking are a big no, he takes so much care of his body he wouldn’t even touch a cigarette or be near a smoking area, lowkey paranoid of ingesting the smoke too.
— When he’s older I can see him having a dog and a cat, the dog would be a big dog; if they stood on two paws it’d be the same height as you, he’d name or something like Tobias and think he was super clever and funny, the cat would probably a small cat he’d name Milk (it probably would be a black cat too but he does not care).
— Probably tried baby formula because he heard it was a substitute for breast milk. No further comments on this.
— I feel like he doesn’t listen to music, but if he had to choose something he’d pick instrumental music - not orchestral music or anything like that - but more of a chill, no deep meaning just guitar and piano track. I could see him listening to Shego Sekito or Joe Hisashi on occasion, he might even listen to some 2000’s pop if he wants something to pump him up during training (he works out to Brittney Spears’ “Womanizer”).
— A cuddle-bug when he’s sleepy, he’ll throw himself across his S/O and not move at all, he just wants to stay there and not move ever again (or at least until he’s not feeling like passing out). He’ll like to wrap himself around them and cuddle their neck, he’ll attach himself to their arm like it’s a lifeline.
— In other words, Kageyama Tobio… b-boyfriend material.

Catch all post:
*egg/beauty blender holder as a head holder while drying after reroots. I didn’t have anything to prop up heads since the wire shelf was needed elsewhere in the appartment.
*Star Darlings Libby has found her body, the hasbro blue leg body with a 5mm thick vinyl washer cut in the shape of a disc just bigger than her neck hole and squeezed over the neck knob. She can wear MH/EAH shoes. She’s also wearing the Daiso yukata with velcro added so it doesn’t gape. This leaves the final hasbro body (and better match) for her eventual orange reroot version: Annatto.
*Finally started that junk vs useful parts sort out i’d been trying to do for weeks and it turned into four different things: 1 my own personal doll body parts stash: that part’s done! 2 monster high (unfinished) and child dolls bundles I can sell cheap and get to owners that’ll appreciate them, 3 “just pay postage” and gifts for doll customizers stuff (hair, wigs, lashes, tinsel, eyes, reroot customs that need paint) that could bifurcate into n°4 an ebay france bundle for barbie/monster customizers. I don’t know, it’s a headache but at least I got rid of quite a few things that were just taking up space. If you’re in the EU, hit me up. If you’re in the USA i’ll do some trial letter post sized gifts later this year (is DeJoy gone yet?).
*Glue sueding with liquid superglue is a terrible idea. I know this and somehow managed to mess up anyway. A big drip seeped from the elbow joint to the peg which ripped off and had to be replaced with a pin. Sev can stand now but can’t bend her right elbow. I made a photo montage of the stages of ‘oh no’ that I went through seeing myself make a mistake made several times before. Feel free to use for your own “oh honey!” needs.

THE STORY
They call you Cerberus, fighting with the ferocity of a beast. For the majority of your adolescent life, you felt suffocated, crushed under the weight of certain expectations you never wanted to meet. They wanted you to be gentle and kind, everything the storm that raged inside of you was not. So you learned to fight under the midnight sky, sneaking away from the watchful eye of someone who claimed to love you as you were, rendezvous in dark alleyways and underground rings filled with people much bigger than you. This was a life worth living: packing hits and watching people fall under them as you felt every irritation and frustration leave you, inciting a passion in you that you had never felt in any of the things your parents wanted for you. It was there that you found your future calling, someone who represented death themselves with the moniker of Hades extending the hand of freedom to you. You ceased it at the first opportunity, knowing you would never have to do any of those redundant things again. You have never left their side since, even if you’ve begun to feel stifled again from their faith in you and the expectations that come with them.
CONNECTIONS
PAEAN - If there is one person that you are eternally grateful for aside from Hades, it is Paean. You cannot remember how many times you’ve come to them, with wounds that would otherwise terrify anyone else and they calmly talked you through every single one while their hands made you whole again. It is in this calm that you found a friend, someone decent enough in this world of crime to earn that title. Though your loyalties are on opposite sides, you know you can count on them far more than anyone else.
CHIMERA - It seems as though they are everywhere you go, your very own shadow with a touch of insanity in your eyes. You’re not certain what it is they have against you, going out of their way to find you and start a fight. All you know is that you’ve had it with them, especially with the way you two seem to be evenly matched, leaving the both of you in a sweaty and bloody heap when all is said and done. You’d do almost anything to wipe that smirk off of their face and knock their snarky words right out of them.
MEDUSA - It is of no surprise to you that people tend to stay away from you, with knuckles cut and bruised to the point of scarring and a grin made for violence, you don’t blame them. Medusa, however, has never shied away from you and you often times work together, almost too cohesively, to pull of a job. You know of their reputation, but you learned long ago that perception isn’t always reality and you genuinely want to get to know them better.
SUGGESTED FACECLAIMS

BIOGRAPHY
TW: Drug use mention, violence, murder, abuse, eating disorders
Ever since she was a child, Felicia was not tender. She was bossy and feisty, a real “problem child,” as some would refer to her. Living in London, there were certain expectations of her. She had to be a good girl, she had to sit up straight with her legs crossed and wear white without getting it dirty, of course. Her grandparents immigrated from Mexico to England, making her the third generation and by god did she had mighty shoes to fill. Her mother certainly would never let her forget it, perhaps that was why she was forced to assimilate by wearing skirts that were too long, or why she went to high tea and had a nice gaudy hat for every damn occasion.
In truth, her father was planning on becoming apart of Parliament and eventually, Prime Minister. So Felicia needed to be the prim and proper, perfect little girl that everyone wanted her to be. It could not work, in year two she got sent home for twisting a boy’s arm too hard that it deeply bruised him. In year five, she beat another boy up with her little purse full of rocks. Each time her family got such phone calls, she was demonized back at home. Her mother was livid, it was a nightmare trying to get her to calm down and the bored expression on Felicia’s face only sent her over the edge. “Do you have no shame? Your father needs this family to be perfect!” Felicia sat there, her blood curdling in her veins from her rising temper because she needed to fight back. Yet instead, she clenched her fists and spoke through gritted teeth.
“Take another sedative then, mother.”
Things had been intensely uncomfortable between them ever since. In public she was forced to bite her tongue, and becoming a teenager did not make her mother take her more seriously. If anything, it meant that her arm would be twisted back tightly under the guise of a saccharine sweet smile in public, and in private you were engaged in a screaming match that was only calmed by the condescending words your father would whisper in an attempt to soothe you. “Mija, you are supposed to be my good girl. Can you be that for me?”
She wanted to tell him to go fuck himself, but of course she didn’t. She simply nodded every time and tried to stifle the war raging inside her. Her bones felt heavy with the fight she needed to go to, but she tired. As the years went on, Felicia pretended that she actually could be gentle and soft. She almost believed herself for a moment as well, she spoke with a proper English accent and walked with perfect posture. Her hobbies included croquet or cooking, and for awhile, she forgot who she really was. She was completely numb and hazed out for the majority of her teenage years; her mother always had a problem with something she did but Felicia could only remember taking a biting blow at the moment and screaming into her memory foam down pillows later at night. If zombies were real, Felicia was your polite and beautiful zombie. She never came home with knee scraps anymore, she looked like a doll and everyone ate her up. Both her father’s coworkers and her aunties all said that they much preferred this version of Felicia compared to when she was “an obnoxious little girl.”
She truly did try to stay “good.” At least until she was seventeen. Oh her family could’ve said that they truly did love her for who she was, and they just needed her to not be herself in public, but she knew how badly they wanted her to stay the same mindless Barbie doll. With her father’s seat secured in Parliament, Felicia knew things would only start to get worse. He was going to get more media attention, he was going to be the damn Prime Minister if it killed him and it was going to kill her for certain. The high society ladies and gentlemen weren’t so pure themselves, she’d overhear them talk of gambling rings and boxing matches. So rather than stay home at ten pm on a Friday night, she donned her leather jacket, grabbed a pack of cigarettes hidden underneath her bed, and snuck out of the suffocatingly large house for the first time in her entire life.
It was terribly cold but she was determined to find a bloody fight to make up for the years of suppression. She found the bar that she heard had an underground ring and it only made her more excited to watch the burly men beat one another to a bloody pulp. She could feel the adrenaline pumping through her veins as she watched, the scent of the blood and sweat was almost intoxicating and she felt dizzy from excitement. She couldn’t remember the last time she was excited and it was enough to make her step in between the spectator's’ and right into the ring, a wicked smile on her face and her eyes alight with a wild hurricane flashing behind them. “Let me fight.”
They tried to make her fight another woman, as if she couldn’t tackle the bigger men.
“No, I’m going to pulverize h i m.” She pointed to someone double her height with a permanent glare on his face. She should’ve been terrified but instead she released all that pent up aggression, all that numbness, all that rage. She didn’t remember what happened during the fight until she was standing up with one foot on his chest, her lip swollen and cut while he was clearly a mess beneath her. She knew she didn’t look like a proper, perfect, good girl right then. So when she smiled, baring her bloodied teeth, she sent a message: she was a vicious wolf who was not afraid.
She continued this life, always sneaking out at night for fights in alleyways and other underground rings, and she always came back with different bruises or cuts. It was getting harder for her to look so innocent, especially when she switched her pink lipsticks with dark red to hide the blood and when her lace gloves did nothing to hide the bruises on her knuckles. Her mother would ask what had happened, but Felicia would just smirk and say something cryptic. She was becoming a mystery to her family, and they just couldn’t handle not knowing what she was up to. She was right when she had thought that the publicity presence would only get worse, it certainly did. In a way, she was glad they could all see her a little roughed up. Her appearance didn’t hinder her father from becoming Prime Minister, however, and she knew it wouldn’t. It didn’t matter what she did, but god did her life become even more stifling. Suddenly she had to be even more careful when she’d sneak out, she had to wear disguises and learn how to clean up her own wounds.
It was maddening enough to make her want to leave the country altogether. Screw the rules of High Society England and the disgusting finger sandwiches, and most importantly, the stiff and dry losers who had nothing better to do but to kiss up to their parents. Felicia was going to New York City, where she had a warped sense of reality about the types of underground fighting and altercations that she would get into, mostly because of all the American movies she’d watch. When she told her father, he seemed perplexed, but also secretly glad that she will no longer be causing trouble at home. He was more than happy to pay for everything, as long as she “stayed out of trouble” or as Felicia translated, as long as she didn’t get caught. With her lips closed to hide the chipped tooth she’d have to fix later, Felicia nodded and spoke in the mock sweet voice for what she thought would be the last time. “Of course, daddy.”
She got herself a nice loft in Chelsea, even though her parents pushed for her to live in the nicer “upper east side.” She didn’t want to go where part of the city actually did go to sleep at eight pm, no, she was fine with being an obedient uni student during the day, but she was going to do whatever she wanted at night. Eventually, she grew a name in the underground fighting world and there were rumors of a gang being whispered between the crowd. Olympus, how opulent. She was no goddess, she was hardly one of those beautiful mortal women who’d get screwed over by their selfish demigod lovers. So she ignored these talks, because who cared who her new drug suppliers were? Just as long as she got something.
In school however, she found a new type of fighting. She found the adrenaline rush that was being a defense attorney, and she excelled at it. It was perhaps the only way to tame her, in a sense. She was still just as passionate and just as fiery, but she was composed and succinct, and it was in her pre-law major where she saw herself become a well rounded woman. When she told her father she was going to law school, he was joyous and immediately invited her to come back home, offering to pay for law school in England. Yet she knew she couldn’t leave the city she had fallen for now, especially with her newfound glory that would soon only grow. For the first time in several years, she was allowed to be associated with the family, but Felicia realized she was truly a mistake. He agreed to let her stay in the city and pay for law school there, and she knew their relationship was once open again, but she still was resentful since she knew it was only because he thought she was ready to be a kept woman again. So while she studied endlessly during the day, it was at night where she released the tension and anxieties that came with her career path.
She knew she wasn’t all bite and blood, she just had to figure out who she really was. Being away from her parents was good for that; she swore more, she went tried to be more punk but quickly realized she was not whiny enough for that scene. Felicia explored herself and the city as much as she could, and found herself right where she lived in Chelsea amongst the eccentric FIT students or the artwork that wasn’t polite. Nothing was clean and proper where she was, it was raw and honest. Something she hadn’t been with herself for the majority of her childhood. She even thought she could settle down with someone.
He was her professor during her undergraduate years that she affectionately referred to as Mr. Darcy and as cheeky as she was, Felicia wasn’t really interested in seriously pursuing him while she was still a student. Still, it’s not like she wasn’t going to indulge herself now that she was away from the confines of her family’s watchful eye. So the day of graduation, they had a drink, and it went on from there. It wasn’t meant to become serious, she was still a fighter at heart anyways, but it felt nice to come home to someone who wanted to wrap her up in his arms and talk about everything and nothing. They were domestic, she almost believed she could be normal, that he was her prince charming and that this was what it meant to be a regular girl. After all, women her age were settling down like this, right?
She later learned that the term for the euphoric feeling was called the “honeymoon phase” and it was quickly short lived. They settled into one another, and while things seemed fine for awhile, Felicia quickly learned again what it meant to be a kept woman and she did not like it. She had forgotten that once again, this man was making her forget who she really was inside. Yes she now knew she could be tender and loving, but she wanted to travel; she knew deep down that domesticated life wasn’t for her. Of course, Mr. Darcy certainly wasn’t pleased with this either. He thought he had finally controlled Felicia but no one really could. He forced her to classy dinner parties that put her to sleep on the way back home for boredom, he made her interact with other normal people who were usually just people like her father’s co-workers and friends or like her mother and her friends. When she responded negatively they began to fight. They never fought before, so why was it happening now, just because she didn’t like the things he liked?
That tactic, apparently, was called grooming, because her wonderful Mr. Darcy did not love her the way she was. Nobody did, it seemed. He became more controlling of her, and at first Felicia believed she could handle it. Nothing wrong with some healthy arguing, right? But the healthy arguing turned into screaming fits. She’d want to go out at night to make her earnings from the people who’d bet on her during her fights but he was watching her every move. He began to make comments about her weight, her appearance, it was like living with her mother all over again only with someone much more domineering. She was suffocating, she was pissed, and she wanted him g o n e.
She wasn’t sure how she was going to get rid of him when the thought of dumping him made her nervous as to what he’d do to her career or otherwise, and leaving the city was no option for her when she knew that this was the place that she belonged. She had friends at the ring and when she’d complain at the bar about Mr. Darcy, they’d all offer to roughen him up and scare him away on their own but Felicia knew she could do that herself and she didn’t need to pay a fee for it. One night, she finally got away from him freely, only because he was away at a conference for a week so of course she headed to the ring, determined to find a solution. Was Olympus real? Was it not just some stupid myth that everyone whispered between the ring? She supposed tonight would be the night she’d find out. She had gotten one of their dealer’s number through a friend in the ring and they promised to send Medusa to help her with her problem. There she was by the bar just as described, only much more exquisite than she could’ve imagined. It seemed impossible that she could be a hitwoman, and yet here was Felicia, looking delicate yet donned her trademark split lip all the time.
“So… you’re Medusa?”
“Yeah, and you’re the one who wants to kill your boyfriend?”
“Well, maybe just a little.”
The smile they shared made her instantly feel connected to the other person. It was so strange to her, yet she didn’t question it. They discussed the logistics, where it’d be done, what time and how. Felicia knew she wasn’t supposed to be there, but part of her wanted to be there, to see how it would happen, to help. It was so stupid of her, she should’ve felt guilt or doubt, she should’ve called Medusa off because this was terrible of her. She had never killed a man before, and even if she technically wasn’t killing him, she still ordered the hit and she still was pretending like everything was fine. She knew it was an extreme, but with how bad things had been going, she more or less felt scared for her safety until he was taken out. So for her, this was peace of mind. If anyone else asked, however, she knew she’d seem completely insane.
The night she officially became a lawyer was the night Mr. Darcy was going to be taken out. She made it seem like they were certainly going to go out celebrating, but she was really leading him to Medusa. Medusa did not like that idea but Felicia insisted, she was far too curious as to what would happen. Just as they exited the subway into the Bronx did she find Medusa with a man who was donned in an expensive suite and looked irritatingly impeccable as he stared at Felicia with a meticulous gaze. The pair walked further up ahead of Felicia and Mr. Darcy, until they were at the very far outer edge of the borough right by the Hudson River. Mr. Darcy asked where they were, but Felicia swiftly silenced him by kicking him in the back of his knees with her arm encircling his throat tightly.
“What are you doing?! You can’t handle seeing this, and you aren’t supposed to be here.”
“I’ve seen worse and maybe he should get what’s coming to him. Who’s the man?”
“That’s Hades, sometimes he monitors.”
Felicia ignored her better half struggling beneath her as her hand squeezed his throat and her fist came to brutally punch him in the jaw. “We’ve watched you fight before.”
It was Hades who spoke and shocked Felicia. She blinked as Medusa took Mr. Darcy from her yet she stopped the other woman to grab his jaw, a snarl in her voice as she spoke, “good riddance David.” She allowed Medusa to take him away, and even if she wanted to watch, she knew deep down she wasn’t strong enough to watch someone get murdered, even if she was at the height of her anger. Instead, she redirected her attention back to the calm and collected Hades, who seemed to both not approve of Medusa’s methods and yet be the one to help if something were to go wrong. “You watched me fight?”
“Of course. Cronus even got interested in you. We could use a bruiser, you know.”
Olympus truly did exist and she was no goddess or hero, no. She was just like her counterpart, Medusa, she was a monster. All bruised knuckles and bloodied lips. She was Cerberus. They appointed her bruiser and oh how she thrived. It worked well for her schedule as well. With the medic to patch her up to make her look almost good as new and her realizing just how many Olympians were rigging the systems in the court, her job became easier too. She was untouchable it seemed. But tensions were rising when Cronus died. Zeus may have been her new boss, but she didn’t answer to him. She owed this newer freedom to Hades, so when Olympus split, she didn’t hesitate to choose his side. He and Medusa broke her out of her haze forever, she knew no longer she wouldn’t let anyone control how she felt ever again.
For awhile, she didn’t really question her new life, she felt in control again and that was all that mattered to her. But maybe it was the fact she still saw Paean in secret to fix her wounds, or the fact she didn’t respond well to people having high expectations of her, but Hades did make it clear New Olympus is his family and he has faith in her. She’s not sure what he sees her as, the loyal dog who’d do anything for him or the girl who just so badly wanted to break free when in fact she had earned her own freedom, but whatever it is, it has rubbed her the wrong way. She’s not just some helpless women and god did he really need to bestow his idealism down upon her? She was only human and a perfectly flawed one at that, she wasn’t an immaculate painting like she believed he thought she was. She never voiced her opinions, however. Usually, she would’ve, but she is grateful for the new family who actually accepts her, and she is glad Hades does not want her to be anything less than who she is. Still, she wonders if all of this will be worth it down the line now that fighting has no longer become her extracurricular activity but instead a full time job.

Review: Beach Beasties Draculaura and Lagoona Blue, and Gloom Beach Frankie Stein
Yesterday, on the way to dinner, we passed a Five and Under and I found these three girls on sale and couldn’t resist! I had so much fun with my last review I knew I had to talk about these, too.
Kala Mer’ri and Posea Reef, who I reviewed previously had much nicer and more exciting packaging than these three, but, the simplicity of the window box feels intentional here.
I’m not as much of a fan of the pink body colour she has, it feels very generic somehow, but i do love how bright and fun her hair and her bathing suit is.
First thing I noticed with Frankie was that instead of her stitches being molded plastic, they’re bright and painted! That’s cool!
And Lagoona, oh my goodness. I’m in love with her bathing suit! Teal and red is my absolute favourite colour scheme.
The backdrop for Draculaura and Lagoona is a mostly monochrome blue with an off center coffin shape frame. I found it really easy to get out of the package, too! the bottom isn’t sealed as you can see, so I just ran a finger under the plastic and it popped right off. Most of the plastic ties holding them down were fine and not terrifically intrusive, but I was very dismayed to again see plastic ties in her head attached to the carboard. What am I supposed to do with that? Cutting them risks cutting her hair and even then leaves nasty little pointy plastic pieces embedded in her head. I don’t like it and I wish they would find a better way to secure their heads.
Frankie’s Gloom Beach box is similar, in that it’s also monochrome and has the coffin shaped frame, but it’s yellow instead of blue, and has a sandcastle at the front and an appropriate skullete in the background. I think I like Frankie’s more.
But we can only talk about one at time, so I’m going to start with Lagoona. I like the art on her box. She’s got a little hang ten thing going on. I wonder if Lagoona likes to surf? It does seem like a sea monster girl’s hobby.
I think the back of her box is nice. It’s very simplistic compared to some other boxes I’ve seen, but since the front was also pretty simple, I think it works.
I kind of expected this to have information on Lagoona herself instead of just the line, but I guess that’s fine. I think it’s a little weird though, that since Lagoona and Draculaura have the same excerpt on the back of their boxes, it should have larger text so that it could fill up the entire box. It looks a little unfinished- or at least, it looks like the box was made seperately than the text, so I expected their boxes to say different things, but they don’t.
You know, I do have a lot of problems with the body images fashion dolls promote. I am unhappy with how boy dolls are thicker than girl dolls and how skinny girl dolls are, but I do respect that Monster High pushes inclusion and uniqueness in such a genuine sense. I’ve seen Monster High dolls with artificial limbs and even a doll in a wheelchair, and I read the back of my Posea Reef box and it looks like she has ADHD. I have ADHD! I thought that was really nice and it made me smile.
There’s also a picture of Draculaura from this set, who I also got, and Venus McFlytrap, who I really wish I had! I grew up in Cape Fear, the only place in the world the Venus Flytrap is native to. I like her colours and her fuzzy undercut. I do think her name could have been a little more creative though. Venus is a perfectly good name, but McFlytrap isn’t exactly a pun or anything.
And there’s Lagoona herself, out of the box!
She has grey-blue skin with fins on her arms and legs, and straw-gold hair with cerulean streaks.
She’s got a soft, clear plastic headband and a pair of hard clear plastic sunglasses. It looks like she has a small button nose and large lips, but we’ll get a better look at her when we get her accessories off.
And oh but my favourite part of Lagoona is her arms and hands! Her arms below the elbow and her hands are cast in clear blue plastic and then painted to match her skin tone, except for the webbing between her fingers and the fins on her arms. I know in my last review I said I don’t like webbed hands but the reason I don’t is that it makes hands look blobby and vague, but this is such a neat gimmick! All her fingers are still visible and individual and I am a HUGE sucker for clear plastic.
She also has clear plastic detachable fins on her legs.
They peg in and out so that you can get pants over her legs, which makes sense. I can imagine I’m going to lose them within an hour, though, which has me wary. They also have different pegs so you can’t put them in the wrong leg.
She’s also got bright orange clear plastic shoes. They’re made of soft vinyl so the thinner parts are flexible, but the thicker parts are not. These are wedge sandals. I wish she could wear some truly beachy flip flops, but fashion feet stand on their tip toes and she can’t really wear flats. Or stand on her own. Try as I might I could not get any of these three to stand on their own during this review, and I don’t own a doll stand and they didn’t come with any. So I leaned them against my backdrop for the most of this.
Her bating suit is a cute pattern. Lots of little swirls, and some little tentacles and fishes which go with her sea monster theme.
The ruffle on Lagoona’s shoulder is very cute with a double tier of pink polka dotted teal ruffled fabric with a line of clear red plastic sewn on. My only problem with this design is that I feel like it would look better if the lower side was a little higher, so that the plastic was above her bust. Having the fabric cover her bust there seems a little accidental looking, and initially I thought it was when I was redressing her. It’s not that bad, I just think it would look better that way.
It velcros shut at the back and layers pretty flat. It also has puffy little plastic circles around her thighs. I like those too! They have a lot of character.
Her head accessories are all tied on with plastic bands. A lot of them, actually. Lagoona’s head is hard and filled with glue. it doesn’t turn well and cannot look up or down.
There’s even more on the back. Her glasses don’t really loop around anything, they just sort of stay on her head by pressing against the sides. they’re okay- they’ll definitely stay on for a photograph, but not for much playtime. Her hairband has a peg at the back. It stays pretty solidly pegged in which is nice.
She also comes with a green clear plastic shell shaped purse. It’s made of soft plastic so it opens easily. I think it’s very cute, and usually I would wish for some paint apps, but I am a sucker for clear plastic, especially soft clear plastic and I love it as its. It’s got lots of nice details- the row of pearls at the bottom and for the handle, the little stars (starfish?) where the pearls attacks, and the little ribbings along the shells bumps.
I found her hand a little annoying to get through the bag loop- It was of course very easy to get on by taking her hand off and sliding her wrist through, but the opening is big enough to fit her hand through without taking it off, meaning it can slide off after you’ve put her arm through. I wish it would either be a little bigger of an opening so she could pick it up easier or a little smaller so she could hold it better, instead of just being pretty okay at both. It’s not a major complaint, but it is something I noticed.
I took off her accessories and let her hair down. I was a little annoyed by the gel in her hair. It made it stiff and unpleasant to brush- it was only on the underside, but I didn’t like it. I should probably wash it, but I don’t really feel like doing that right now. Washing hair is a big to do for me.
Other than that, her hair is pretty soft. It’s also layered, so parts of it are shorter than others.
From the front, I think her eyes are a little unfocused. I like her pink-lavendar-blue eyeshadow and I love the little blue highlight under her eye. She also has shimmery eyeshadow below her eyebrows, and those I’m less favourable towards. I don’t know where the purple comes from? The shape is nice but she has yellow and blue hair. So, uh? what? alright.
Her freackles are maybe a little dark. They lightened them for her packaging art and I can kind of see why. Maybe if she had some spots on her nose it would look better. It doesn’t look terrible though. I like her eyeshadow though, the bottom of it looks a little like fishy fin webbing, which is neat. I thought monster high eyes usually had a line-dot style of reflection, but this is two small dots. I like the lines better.
She has very large pink lips and I actually like these. Sometimes the pointy corners of the lipstick doesn’t match the edges of a girl’s lips and it looks weird up close. Lagoona’s looks nice though. Her nose is super small though. small and flat.
yeesh. and from a profile, her nose looks creepy and alien. Her forehead feels too long and her face is so flat. I don’t like it. #GiveLagoonaANose2K17
It doesn’t look much better at a three quarter profile. Her lips still look nice but her nose just. It all falls apart in the center of her face.
Also, check it out! She has cute little fishy fin ears!
And here she is without her bathing suit. I like her leg fins, but I’m not sure the plastic actually matches the colour of her arm plastic.
I also noticed Lagoona has some information stamped between her upper shoulders.
Hey! This is my first doll with feet and my third aquatic girl, funnily enough. She has those fashion feet and can’t stand on her own. I wish she could wear flats. :( I understand it’s easier for shoes and for molding and heels are more versatile and all kinds of stuff, but, I just like flats. And I don’t like heels. I get it, I do, but that doesn’t mean I have to like it.
And wow, she sure has some detail! her ankle is visible even from the front and all her toes have been molded and shaped. It’s pretty neat, actually- I remember my childhood barbies all had Lumps for feet.
She’s got molded panties, too, with a little checkered diamond pattern. They do this for modesty purposes, which makes sense.
they do mold their butts, though. Also, Lagoona has a little extra plastic on hers.
Speaking of defects, she also has a little plastic rub on her forearm. You can really see the colour difference between her arm paint and the upper arm plastic here- it’s not very noticeable in real life, but it is in photos.
I really like the detail monster high dolls have in their bodies- she has smooth little collarbones and a belly button and I really think it goes the extra mile. Plain dolls with flat upper chests and tummies look very weird to me in an uncanny valley type way.
Here’s everything she came with! Her bathing suit, her headband, sunglasses, purse, shoes, and towel- which had one white stitch of fabric holding it together I needed to cut.
I wish her towel was wider. She can’t like, wear it like a bath towl, which is unfortunate I think. It’s a nice set piece to lay her on or put i her bag, but, come on, one more inch.
At this point I put her hair up in a ponytail except for the front parts. I think it looks really cute, even with the weird little wave in the middle.
It almost looks like it’s flowing over her shoulders, but, it’s just a very conveniently placed kink. She can hang out like that for awhile until I wanna take more pictures of her.
Next up is Draculaura! I love the pun in her name but I think it’s odd she’s like, the only one with no last name!
It says the same thing as Lagoona’s, except that she’s the daughter of Dracula.
This one has another picture of Venus (wistful sigh) and Lagoona, who I just finished talking about!
Pink is my favourite colour! I love bright bright pink. My hair is that colour, my car is that colour. If they let you buy it in pink I buy it in pink. However I don’t think bright pink and light pink go well together. So I love her hair and her outfit, but, her skin feels off, like it doesn’t really match.
Draculaura also cannot stand. She’s kissing the wall a lil bit.
It looks like she has a sharp face, and I like it. I also love her hair- I love the curly pigtails and while a lot of people hate bangs on dolls? I’m into it.
I think her hair is split nicely- the plugs are crossed so you can’t see her plastic head.
Look how cute her bathing suit is! White and black distressed stripes with hot pink bat outlines and pink ruffles along the thighs and the neck, down past the bust to a hot pink palstic waist bow. I love everything about this swimsuit, 10/10 character appropriate and with a great colour scheme and design.
The back of her swimsuit velcros shut.
She’s wearing hot pink heels with a little ribbon around her ankle and a bow on the toe. There’s a slit on the back I forgot to take a photo of, making it easier to get off her foot, but, her shoe is a little finnicky to get off.
She’s got a very sassy face! I like the shape.
Very pink
very pink.
Draculaura also has molded panties, but I think these are actually dots, not diamonds? My Draculaura has these two blue black dots on her right hip. They won’t come off.
Maybe they are diamonds? I’m not sure. They look a little different from Lagoona’s, but maybe I’m seeing things.
Let’s take a look at your pretty face!
She also has a button nose like Lagoona, but hers is more pronounced and her forehead is shorter. She has thin eyes and very pronounced eyelids and very sharp dark eyelashes. Her eyes are purple and these have the white streaks. She also has medium brown eyebrows, a red heart on her cheek, and bright red lipstick with white fangs.
You know, I like the shape of everything here but not the colour. Why does she have such large brown eye shadow? Why brown? Brown might go with her light pink skin but certainly not with the otherwise bright pink colour scheme of her hair and her clothes. It’s a little weird and doesn’t match I think. Also, again, with the eyebrows! Why are they brown? I like her lips and her lip colour- usually pink and red don’t go togehter, but it’s okay here.
She has a much nicer profile than Lagoona does. I think this looks fine, but her brown eye makeup could at least be pointy, couldn’t it? I guess not.
She has a nice three quarter profile.
Here’s everything she came with. Her swimsuit, her shoes (would you wear those to the beach?), her sunglasses, her sunscreen, her totebag, and her towel. I really like her towel- it matches her bathing suit by essentially being the exact opposite of it. Her tote has the same problem Lagoona’s does, though.
I especially like her little sunscreen bottle hehe. The black design is printed directly n so its not a sticker, which is cool. It says “SPF: 500,”Which is super appropriate, because she’s a vampire, hanging out at the beach. Haha.
And there’s Frankie! I think she’s the main character of the line. She’s front and center on the website and she’s in all the movies. I like her personality. Frankie is outgoing and likeable and is always trying to help people and make new friends. I think she’s a very good role model for young girls.
She also came with this cute postcard!
Aw, it’s to Ghoulia. I think this is a really sweet little postcard.
And there she is out of her box!
I took off her sunglasses to turn her around because I found them very cumbersome- they’re shaped like lightning bolts which makes her hair ruffle up around them as they get caught in the corners.
I like her eye focus a lot, she doesn’t look cross eyed like some other dolls do.
I think her bathing suit is really cute and matches her electricity theme well. It’s also a little offbeat with the blue and yellow stripes and the tartan- but it all still looks very cohesive! Her wrap is very annoying to deal with because it keeps sliding up her waist, but it looks really really nice.
It velcros very low on her back and you can see the problem this outfit has. Her shoulder straps came with a plastic band tying them together and I can see why- they will NOT stop slipping down her shoulders. I wish they’d just made it a higher cut back.
Well would ya just LOOK at that sweet face! She’s really been designed to look friendly. A wider button nose and a big round chin and very gentle eyes. I like her lipstick especially- it really really matches everything well. I think her heterochromia is super fun! And I like the bluegreen eyeshadow she’s wearing. She also has the white flecks of light in her eyes and some purplish dots? It doesn’t show up well in her green eye. She’s also got brown eyelashes. Again, I’m confused by this. She has has a little line of frankenstein stitches on her right cheek. They don’t look like the ones on her body, but I can see why- those would probably look very intrusive on her face.
And hey, oh my goodness! She has little earrings that match her neck bolts.
Frankie has a good profile with pouty lips, a nice sized forehead, and a round nose. I think her eye rounds oddly from this angle, but I love her jaw! It makes it look like she has a little babyfat in her cheeks.
The stitches on her neck and body use a reflective silver paint and then a black outline. They are not molded to her body but I actually like them a lot like this and probably prefer them. She also has steel coloured neck bolts!
Her sunglasses are really annoying to mess with but they look really nice. A nice bright blue with electric bolts on the sides. I love clear plastic haha
I also really love her sandles. The paint is a little messy but it’s also fun. She has black wedgish sandals with yellow straps and bright blue buckles.
You can see them a lot better from this angle.
and oh my god! I thought EAH had my favourite hands.... holy cow! Look at them. They’re gentle and delicate.
very soft palms.
and just look at this. it’s beautiful and artistic. It reminds me of a Renaissance painting.
She can actually sit up on her own quite nicely! She doesn’t need any support for that.
But she can’t really bend her knees much.
I was half expecting her to have a secret line of stitches somewhere!
I like her pale green body. It’s not quite mint, but it’s not gross.
Her hips look very weird when you pull them apart though!
Here’s everything she came with! (I realized too later her bathing suit was inside out, sorry) Her bathing suit, her sandals, her wrap, her brush, her sunglasses, her hairband (which I found SUPER difficult to unsnap and open), and her bag. I like her bag, but it doesn’t seem very beachy to me, even though its very detailed and looks good with her.
but you know what the best part of dolls are? Playing with their clothes!
First up, here’s Lagoona in Frankie’s outfit!
And then Lagoona in Draculaura’s!
Draculaura in Frankie’s outfit!
And Draculaura in Lagoona’s outfit!
Frankie in Lagoona’s outfit!
And lastly, Frankie in Draculaura’s outfit!
Aaaand just a few group shots. :)
Final thoughts:
These three dolls cannot stand on their own and all three have very hard heads, though Lagoona’s is the worst. They are not as articulated as some other dolls, but they move well enough for nice photos and fun play, and they have really nice outfits unique to their characters! I think they are fun to play with, but I also think that because they have a beach theme their outfits are simpler than some other dolls and that they have fun colours and shapes and faces and I really enjoy them. I hope I find more at the next Five and Under I stop at!

White Gowns - Girl Dress Online Ultimate But Not For Everyone And Every Purpose
Outfit parties can be a lot f fun, however picking a costume and discovering one that will fit you is a problem. So here are a couple of ideas for your elegant gown outfit. Choose a theme that you feel you can pull of well. I suggest it's rather odd to see a slim man in a Superman costume. Also keep away from outfits that need to be explained to people. You have failed if you need to discuss your outfit and people will think you are lame. Think about your costume thoroughly and ask your good friends for their viewpoint and inquire to be blunt. Much better to hear it from them rather than humiliate yourself.
Let Us Go To Movie Theater And Enjoy This Kind Of Gown Up Games

Disney is has a large variety costumes. There are a lot of animated characters that kids merely can't get enough of like toy story characters such as Woody for young boys and Jessie for girls. You can have your Girls Dress up like princesses such Sleeping beauty, Ariel, Princess Aurora, Princess Appeal and a lot of other princesses. You can even go for Pocahontas if you wish to keep the gown simple.
One can get the kids toys at online. There are many companies that manufacture the toys and among all fisher rate toys, Disney toys and chicco toys are more popular. You can also get these toys at online. Toys online are at the most affordable rates and free shipping to throughout India. One can buy the kids toys online with the least expensive costs and various varieties.
Design Your Own Special Design Mixed Drink Dresses
When you are looking to select from the White Match collection, you can also choose the Affazy variety. The Affazy match is among the most popular ranges and represents an excellent appeal. These fits are ideal party wear dresses for girl and you can match them up with great looking silk ties. These ties are provided in variable colors and you can get from a few of the popular colors like pink and blue.
This is such an easy outfit, specifically if your child has some gown up clothes already. All these Halloween costumes use the exact same basic clothing with some variations. A leotard, leggings, cosmetics, shine, and ballerina shoes make up the ballerina. For the fairy, utilize the exact same outfit, and put some wings on the back. These can be discovered extremely inexpensively. Utilize the very same attire, minus the wings, take a dollar shop crown and a long piece of fabric or skirt for the dress, and you have a princess. Another very cheap way to make a princess costume is to search in pre-owned stores for girls dresses online. Often they are extremely expensive and an extremely sensible rate. You can use a few other economical devices to create a Cinderella costume, a Barbie Ballerina, or other Disney princess outfits.

However the little lady and her moms and dads also have a say here due to the fact Girls Dresses that normally it's her parents who pay for the flower lady gown and it's the woman who will don it. No matter who will choose the dress, the following points require to be considered.
Women Expensive Gown Clothing And Classic Beauty
Bear in mind that children grow rapidly. If you plan to buy the dress off the rack, do not make the purchase very early. Just start looking early and purchase it near your wedding day. If it's a custom-made made one, make a bigger dress and do the last fitting weeks prior to the wedding event.

Everybody croons and whines about the priviledge of being the baby of the family, but she finds it too hard to not look at it as being the last in a very long line of a shitty Chinese buffet. It's not like there's the perk of having her parents give less of a shit about what she does than any of her other siblings -- they don't give a shit about any of them pretty equally. She's stuck with everyone's hand-me-downs, from shoes to shirts to toys; when she's tinier, it's too hard to fight for the food at the dinner table to ensure her monstrous appetite gets enough to eat (which is not to say she's been starved, because her brothers and sisters wouldn't let that happen either); she gets treated like a baby when she wants to do something considered too grown up for her age, or like an adult who has not done enough of their duties, and it feels like there's no in-between.
+ Her parents are losers, and there's really no other way around it (one addicted to drugs, the other an alcoholic), nor does she ever feel like wording it in a more delicate way. There was a time in her life when she didn't think it, but they let her down. They always did, and she gave up on them pretty quickly. Maybe it made her a bit too cynical way too young.
+ Her oldest brother Bronson raises her, her other siblings chipping in along the way although once she gets old enough, she grows that stubbornness (one that's always really been there, but is now bigger than just "I don't want to take a bath") that makes her want to tell them all to fuck off, that she could take care of herself. And honestly, she does say that a lot, even when she shouldn't have because even though she's always been an old man trapped in a young girl's body, she's also still a little shit that doesn't know as much as she thinks she does.
+ She's never been into Barbies or baby dolls. She actually tried flushing a Barbie down the toilet that she was given at her sixth birthday to ensure that she didn't have to be forced to play with it ever (but also because she was curious if it would actually flush), which obviously resulted in a terrible mess in the bathroom, but what can you do? She had an old stuffed animal that was one of her siblings old hand me downs, and that was honestly her favorite thing; not to play with really, but just to carry around. Otherwise, she just wanted to read or watch television or maybe play a way too violent video game for her age.
+ Due to trying to compensate for being the baby (and her stupid, godawful name), and therefore somehow the weakest link of the Judd's (in her eyes, anyway), she's always tried to seem tougher than she is. Or at least someone that you don't want to toil with -- which, to be completely honest, is probably true enough as it is, and there's really no need for her to act like it. She won't admit to liking anything that seems too soft, and if you put a puppy in her face, she will pretend she isn't making squealing noises on the inside. She tries acting like she doesn't give a shit, even though she does. Maybe more than even she realizes.
+ (Someone in kindergarten teased her for her ears, saying they were too big, and she wore horrible ear muffs for two years afterward because of it. She'll say it's just because she felt like making a statement, but come on. Who wears fuzzy pink ear muffs for two years as a fashion statement? Obviously she occasionally takes what people say to heart.)
+ She's always done well in school without really trying -- when she bothers to show up. That's the problem, of course, because she doesn't see the point. She reads what she needs to read (along with what she wants to read), absorbs the things they want her to, and she's just so goddamn bored that she can't stand to sit in the class and hear it all again and again and for what purpose anyway? She doesn't want to go to college -- she sure as shit can't afford it -- and any career she may want, she doesn't need more than a high school diploma for. She almost drops out to just get her GED but she knows her brother would kill her for it, and she doesn't quite want to let down one of the few people that haven't let her down. Yet.
+ Her idea of showing you that she cares include calling you an asshole, pranking you, and giving you this certain smirk that mostly makes you think you're about to get into a lot of trouble. The confusing part is that this is also how she shows you that she loathes you and wants you to go away forever and ever. She's had a hard time keeping people around because of it. Look past the scowl and the sailor mouth and you'll find out what you're dealing with is really just a naive girl who tried growing up too fast because she felt she had to, but who has way too much to still learn to actually grow up for real just yet.
+ When she graduates, she decides to do something more practical than studying poetry or learning how to make pottery for forty grand a year. Instead, she invests a decent amount of money into getting her Class B CDL license, deciding it's probably going to pay off better anyway. (It does. Sort of.) She gets a job in Oakland driving around and picking up trash, something that she honestly just enjoys (it doesn't smell very good, but it sure is peaceful most days). It's how she furnishes her very first place -- a shitty little apartment in a crap part of town but hey, it's hers. She's paying for it all on her own, and it feels nice. Adult. Responsible.
+ (AKA things that she really isn't most of the time.)
+ She's got quite a bit of mischief in her heart, and a lot of grief and fear that she chooses to ignore. She doesn't understand quite how to love someone, not in what people would consider a normal way, and she tends to float from one person to the next, never getting too attached -- not exactly a personal choice, so much as it is a coincidence that she gets bored a few steps before the real stuff usually hits. She doesn't really understand how to accept love either, like it's some confusing Happy Meal toy -- you know the ones that you stare at for twenty minutes wondering what in the world it even could be.
+ She doesn't usually drink or do drugs at all, but not due to her parents own addictions (okay, partly that) but rather because she just doesn't like how it clouds her judgment. She likes having her brain at full thinking capacity, just in case. You never know when you're going to need to be particularly smart or have to run and hide or do anything else, really, and drinking just makes her too foggy which in turn, makes her nervous and reckless at the same time. It's not very pretty. + She knows she's smart. She knows she's got potential to do bigger things than drive a garbage truck and throw scraps at a dog in her back door that she refuses to officially call hers even though he sleeps on her porch every night and greets her in the mornings and when she comes home (he is basically her dog). She knows she can probably skip off and find someone rich to marry and live in the lap of luxury, doing nothing forever. But she doesn't do any of it, because she doesn't want to. She doesn't do anything she doesn't want, nor anything she doesn't truly feel in every bone in her body. For someone playing the apathy card a lot of the time, she's actually pretty passionate.
+ She likes action. She likes chaos. She likes making people laugh, as long as they're laughing with her and not at her. She likes pie more than anything else in this world, and she will tell you so. She's in it for herself most of the time, disregarding the feelings and needs of those around her -- but sometimes, she turns the selfish switch off, and she does something for them, or because of them; other times, she's so focused on being independent that she forgets that not only does she still need other people sometimes, but they actually need her, too. She would rather keep her mouth shut and plot her revenge quietly than tear you a new one on the spot (but let's be honest here, she may just do that too). She wants to be taken seriously, but has too much energy to be that boring, responsible person that people are supposed to respect to keep up with it.
