Silly ask but why some of the mimes named the way they are and what do their names mean?? (Minus Chickenstab, Foxglove, Twiddle Niddle, N & O, and Tyvson, since those are little more obvious)
Some names are purely superficial, like Mr. Scuppers or Magdelindriannamberlynataliovannah, but some do have some extra meaning behind their names.
Jarna, if you want to get technical, should be Järna. It's just the word iron in Swedish with an A at the end. Because shes metal🤘. I pronounce it yarn-uh, but realistically it should be pronounced something like yair-nuh.
Uppsulka is a misspelling of uppsluka, verb, to devour.
Holly is because they used to be very christmas themed. Not as much anymore, but they still carry the name.
Atrox means terrible/horrific, whereas Calamea is an altered version of the word calamity.
El Ganso es un pájaro, honk honk.
Oxaclock just sounded fun, but his puppet form does have an ox skull for a head.
Ching was inspired by my love for the classic cash register cha ching!!! sound. At the time I felt "chaching" was a bit too odd a name, so I shortened it. No meaning tied to him as a character.
Caela was the most girly sounding name I could think of in a moment's notice, then spelled as untraditionally as I could manage as a 12 year old.
Rede was probably the least thought out one. It just means to network, I'm pretty sure. His name is not pronounced how it looks.
#its pronounced reed for him#jarring i know#hamburger: hamburger#vindemia: i think it has something to do with onions?#idk alannah named her and idk if she'd remember either.#brambleramble

Loloki Loki || It is a fine day/night in the Goblet, and the sounds of the city could be heard off in the distance. The door opens, with a ring or whatever Chach has installed. What passes through first is... a frog on two legs - it holds the door open and bows dramatically. A Dunesfolk woman walks through - her face half-covered by a turban popularized by a certain Monetarist with goggles of Sharlayan make attached. She stops to look around the shop. The walking frog closes the door behind her.
Chachanji Gegenji || The smithy itself is rather... well, perhaps even a bit stiflingly... hot. A bit less so given the colder months giving a bit of a chill to the air, but that also just makes the buffeting of the hot forge air that rushes out with the door opening all the more noticeable. The windchime by the door seems to have been set up for this exact thing, and its ringing causes the wiggling of Chachan's ears as he pauses in his inventory. Hopping from step to chest, he peers over the counter with a- Chachanji Gegenji | - cheerful smile. "Hallo! Welcome ta th' Usagenji Ironworks!"
Loloki Loki looks around the room - the heat doesn't seem to bother the Dunesfolk - or maybe because she's already wearing airy robes. She's covered with a variety of trinkets and knicknacks. Her face is obscured, but there no sense that she is impressed with what is displayed. She sniffs in the hot dry forge air before turning to face Chachanji, "Greetings, I have an appointment with this establishment's master."
Chachanji Gegenji: "Master?" he repeats before clambering down from his perch to be more on eye-level with the other Lalafell. He's pretty short even for a Lalafell, so eye-level might not be the correct term. His physique is mostly blurred by his own heavy attire, but the hammer strapped to his back at least implies he has some modicum of physical strength - given it seems to be sized to be used by a Roegadyn rather than a Lalafell. "Well, I wouldn't call meself a 'master' but th' smithy is mine so... I 'spose-- Chachanji Gegenji: -- tha's me?" Chachanji Gegenji: "Chachanji Gegenji. Nice ta meetcha." You perform an Eastern greeting for Loloki Loki.
Loloki Loki: "Oh? Pardon me, I assume that... No....", the Poroggo decided to open it's mouth, "She thought you were the hel...." The Dunesfolk turned back and glares at the frog. It froze immediately like a deer caught in headlights. "It is a honored to meet you, Ser Chachanji Gegenji. I am Loloki Loki." She curties to him.
Chachanji Gegenji glances between Loloki and the poroggo, scratching idly at his freckled cheek with a stout finger. Still, he doesn't comment on the unspoken back-and-forth between them and just give a smile as he returns his hands from the eastern-style greeting he had given. "Oh! From tha'..." A pause, obviously trying to think of a good word to describe the complex verbiage that had been written. "... Fancy! Fancy letter!" He nods. "Ya had some... armor ya wanted me ta look at?" The tone has a brief hint- Chachanji Gegenji || - of uncertainty. Of trying to make sure he deciphered her writing correctly.
Loloki Loki remains silent for a moment. The way her head moves indicates that she's looking him over. His gear. His physique. His eyes. This forge. Evaluating and grading behind her mask. After a moment, she sighs - in a manner that sounds of disappointment - but she shakes her head after a few seconds before lifting it with a smile, "Indeed. I have a item I need evaluated, and you were highly recommended by my sources. My normal avenues are either not available or are back in the Old World." Loloki Loki shrugs at you.
Chachanji Gegenji blinks as he's examined - his violet eyes seemingly more... reflective than a usual Dunesfolk's. He subtly adjusts his garments at the gaze, seeming to try to ensure as little of his physique is identifiable as possible. When she looks to the forge, he turns to it as well and then back to her. The sigh - apparently caught by those long ears - causes them to droop slightly, but he rallies well enough. "A-ah. Sure thin'. I'll do what I can ta help."
Loloki Loki nods - face obscured by a smile. She reaches into her back and takes out a rather heavy-looking pair of darksteel gauntlets. "I would like these gauntlets to be evaluated by a professional armorer. I am told you specialize in protective equipment. As I noted in my missive to you, would it be within your abilities to determine to what extent does the armor's materials integrate with the absorbed aetherical density post-recovery?"
Chachanji Gegenji: "A-ah, I do, yeah," he agrees as his eyes shift to the gauntlets. He moves closer to get a better look at them - even taking one and looking it over himself should she let him. Despite his rather plain and - perhaps childish - facial features, the intensity with which he observes the equipment is solid proof that this establishment IS his and he knows what he's doing. "... So these were made ta... absorb aether?" he queries idly as he looks them over.
Loloki Loki shakes her head and sighs again, "No. These are just gauntlets. Ser Chachanji, what do you know about spiritbinding?"
Chachanji Gegenji: "They aren't jus' gauntlets, though," he states, holding the one gauntlet up. "'s Darksteel, 'n really *good* quality Darksteel. 'n th' craftin' style - along wit th' the wear 'n tear - makes me thin' these are pretty old. Couple decades at least." Is he trying to show off his skill or is this all just tumbling out because it's his nature? Hard to say. "Th' sheen is interestin', though. 've seen it a couple times... us'lly from stuff folks needed repaired 'r resized tha' they got outta dungeon-- Chachanji Gegenji: divin' 'n th' like." Chachanji Gegenji: "Izzat tha' 'spiritbindin'' yer talkin' 'bout?"
Loloki Loki: "Not wholly." She sighs again. Loki steps a little to Chachanji's side and looks him over again, "I was wrong to assume too much. You have provided useful information, but allow me to explain." Her tone changed, "Spiritbonds is the spiritually-charged connection that an individual forms with their equipment, clothing, and other effects that they wear on their person over long periods of time. Your favorite tools for instance. Or a accessory from a old friend." She reaches up and rubs a - Loloki Loki -- earring that looks like aetheryte. "It is this connection that is exploited for use in the creation of materia. You are familiar with materia, I presume?"
Chachanji Gegenji pouts a little at being talked down at about this. "A'course I know 'bout th' bondin' ya can do wit yer equipment," he states, perhaps with a little hint of indignation. "It jus' dun cause th' sorta sheen thi' has - 'r th' ones folks get from their dungeon-divin'. Otherwise me hammer here'd be shinin' up a storm." He motions to the tool with a brief tilt of his head. "'n I know 'bout materia 'n affixin' it. Jus' never learned th' process fer how ta make th' materia in th' first place."
Loloki Loki 's in her lecturing mode, "Materia is a piece of the wielder's aether. As you wear or utilize a piece of equipment, your 'spiritbond' imparts a piece of your aether to the object. Once it is of sufficient density, it can be extracted to create materia. As for the sheen, it would take many lifetimes for that to happen. Certain materials do it more efficiently and faster, such as Eikon metal. It is related to spiritbonding in the sense that it also -- Loloki Loki || involves the wielder's aether. The process is similar to how crystals form naturally. Do you understand, Ser Chachanji?"
Chachanji Gegenji gets the feeling he should have a notebook and be taking notes for a test later. Which makes him pout a little. "W-well, tha' jus' furthers me belief tha' these gauntlets'r pretty old if'n they've managed ta bond wit enuff folks tha' they're shinin' like thi'."
Loloki Loki: "That is not the only means. In fact, I have seen this phenomena in newer items. Some crafters in Sharlayan have learned to infuse aether into their creations to enhance their abilities without the benefit of eons. The Garleans, domineering warmongers they may be, have learned to do this with aetherochemistry to an extent. However, for these gauntlets, I hypothesize that this is a case of aetherical gear - when an individual dies violently, there is a chance for their aether to become -- Loloki Loki: || trapped in their equipment. A more superstitious interpretation would be their souls are trapped in their equipment." Loloki Loki: "I need confirmation if this was the case. I know especially talented and skilled crafters are capable of similar infusions, and have the knowledge to distinguish between artifical and 'natural' aetherical gear." Loloki Loki watches Chachanji silently once she finishes.
Chachanji Gegenji looks a little bit frightened and upset by that last bit, idly fidgeting with a bracelet of prayer beads under his left sleeve as he murmurs a quiet prayer for the departed. He might very well be one of those superstitious types. He seems happy to focus on the former topic rather than the latter, and latches onto it quickly enough. "W-well, if'n there's a way ta do tha'... tha'd be neat ta know. Could help me make ev'n better equipment fer keepin' folks safe. ... if'n I can do it, a'course." Chachanji Gegenji: "As fer these gauntlets, th' age 'n craftin' style makes me thin' it's prolly one'a them 'natural' aethericamacal types rather'n somethin' created wit it ta start wit." Chachanji Gegenji: "But I'd need examples'a both a'fore I can be super sure 'bout tha'." He shrugs.
Loloki Loki: "That is an assumption. It can be 'natural', but it is forged expertly enough that it could be 'artificial'. I had heard you were a particularly skilled craftsman - have you or the master to which you were apprenticed to - done aetherical infusions before?"
Chachanji Gegenji: "Ya mean me Papa? He's back home in Doma, helpin' wit th' reconstructin' efforts," the little smith answers. "'n he always talked 'bout puttin' a bit of yerself inta yer work... but I dun think he meant it so... literally?" The Gegenji style was mostly a focus on artisanship and effective design. Exceptionally powerful equipment made just through raw talent and craft than imbuing aether into it. Though, given the amount of effort and energy spent in the process... some infusion may happen-- Chachanji Gegenji: incidentally. Though, these oft led to those sorts of weapons that were "control or be controlled" - the Gegenji concept of Intent. Chachanji Gegenji: "He did warn tha' ya gotta be careful when makin' stuff, since th' Intent could prove too strong fer th' user. 'n then they get used by th' weapon rather than them usin' it."
Loloki Loki: "What do you think, Ser Chachanji." She's got a instructor's tone. Loloki Loki gazes upon you in deep reflection.
Chachanji Gegenji: "Well, like I said... thi' seems more like tha' natural type ya said rather'n it bein' designed tha' way... I ain't sensin' any solid Intent innit."
Loloki Loki: "Intent is a form of belief. Belief is a form of spiritual aetheric energy. Overtime, that aetheric energy can harmonize with its environment. But I suppose you are correct in that there needs to be a sample and comparison. What if I commissioned you to craft something with a large concentration of your 'Intent', then compared between them? Gil is no object."
Chachanji Gegenji looks VERY nervous about that. "O-oh... u-um... I-I act'lly try ta AVOID makin' stuff wit Intent when I can... I-I dun want it ta be too much fer someone ta handle, y'know?"
Loloki Loki: "Hmm? I am sure I can handle it." She points to the tattoos on her neck and the weird glowing necklace. "Or are you not up to it? How long has it been since you have done so, Ser Chachanji?"
Chachanji Gegenji still doesn't seem entirely convinced. "W-well, I haven't really... ACTIVELY tried ta do it at all. Mostly been tryin' ta avoid it." Chachanji Gegenji: "Keepin' yer mind clear when makin' th' extra strong stuff, y'know? Tha' sorta thin'"
Loloki Loki: "Hmph. Then this is a request. I need a comparison. And a means to evaluate your ability as so many have vouched for your ability. Your Intent is most likely aether. And I wish to evaluate it. I am a specialist in the field of aetherial accumulation, particularly natural accumulation, although as you know from our discussion, I do not shy away from artifical means. I can provide you with the materials you need."
Chachanji Gegenji frowns and scratches at his cheek.
Loloki Loki: "As I said, you do not need to worry. All precautions will be taken."
Chachanji Gegenji: "W-well, I dun have much doubt in me ability ta make good gear," he insists. "I hafta in order ta keep peoples safe. Addin' Intent jus' makes it more... dangerous, y'know? 'n I dun want anyone gettin' hurt or forced ta do thin's they might not wanna do because'a it."
Loloki Loki: "As I said. No one will be hurt. I have been exposed to artifacts with 'primal' aether." She touches her faintly glowing necklace. "I have encountered a large range of aetherical types and entities over my career and studies, and I guarantee you that all necessary precautions will be taken. As strong as you believe your Intent is, I doubt it is stronger than an artifact infused with the 'intent' of a primal."
Chachanji Gegenji: "A-ah... I-I 'spose..." he relents. He had never encountered a Primal himself, but he HAD heard tales of the tempered. Hard not to around Limsa and Ul'dah with the likes of Leviathan and Ifrit being called upon. "S-still, I'd feel more comfortable tha' - after ya do yer... um... 'tests' 'r whatev'r - what I make fer it be destroyed afterward. I'd feel better knowin' tha' it won't get inta th' wrong hands."
Loloki Loki: "It will be fine. Why should it be destroyed? It will be sent to Sharlayan to be collected and archived. If it is deemed as dangerous as you believe, it will be recorded and sealed. There are far more dangerous items in the world. Or are you concern as matter of your legacy?"
Chachanji Gegenji: "Um... more tha' it could end up hurtin' someone, like I said," he insists. "I do what I do ta help people, not ta hurt 'em. Havin' somethin' out there tha' could - 'n not wit someone I fully trust, though prolly wit 'em too - would jus'... eat at me, y'know? Make me worry." Chachanji Gegenji is a worrywart.
Loloki Loki: "Artifacts sealed away in priority containment cells will never see the light of day. In the worst case scenario, the cells will self-destruct or banish their contents to the void. If it worries you so much, you may be allowed to journey to the Old World to see the precautions. The Forum has been moving towards an isolationist approach towards the outside world, but they would be glad to welcome a visiting Disciple of the Hand of obvious skill and capability. Provided, of course, -- Loloki Loki: -- ' that your creation is as 'dangerous' as you say it is."
Chachanji Gegenji still doesn't seem very appeased. Being asked to make something potentially dangerous for someone he doesn't know on the promise that it'll be kept somewhere supposedly safe. "I dunno..."
Loloki Loki sighs, "Do you seek knowledge? Do you want to know how to create greater and greater creations? I - We can open the door. If you do as I ask, and if it is as potent as you say, it will be put in the care of stewards far more capable than any you would find here in this... land. You will be allowed to learn from the knowledge we have collected. To know of other cultures, present and past. Would that not expand your horizons, Ser Chachanji? To know the true extent of your abilities? Or...." Loloki Loki motions to the room. Perhaps the house. Perhaps the city. Perhaps more. "...Is this... all you desire to aspire to?"
Chachanji Gegenji frowns. "I want ta help people. Keep them safe. Make sure - if'n they hafta go out ta fight - tha' they can return home to their loved ones afterward." Chachanji Gegenji: "It ain't about jus' tryin' ta see how good I can be. It's bein' as good as I can be ta make sure tha' what I make helps keep those peoples safe."
Loloki Loki: "And new knowledge can help you do that. A technique from ancient Nym that infuses metal with regenerative ability. To know about a leather which would sap the aether of those who wear use it. Knowledge to protect and shield the ignorant from the dangers of this star."
Chachanji Gegenji looks uncomfortable. "L-look, I won't lie. Summa tha' sounds nice - not th' aether-drainin' leathers, a'course - but yer still askin' me ta make somethin' potentially dangerous. 'd already be trustin' ya plenty 'nuff tha' ya could handle it... but I still dun like th' idea'a it bein' carted off afterward. I'd rather it be returned back ta its base materials rather'n risk it gettin' mishandled 'r misused 'n ultimately hurtin' folks."
Loloki Loki: "We do not know if it will really hurt anyone. As you said, you have not actually created any in awhile. And if it will allay your concerns, we can do the first evaluations here." Loloki Loki: "If you want, I can give you time to think on it."
Chachanji Gegenji: "... I dun mind ya doin' yer studies here, tha's fine," he admits. "Th' point is tha' if'n I feel it could be dangerous - fer any reason - 'm destroyin' it afterwards."
Loloki Loki: "That is acceptable."
Chachanji Gegenji: "Akay then," he huffs, looking at the gauntlet. "So... assumin' thi' is th' 'natural' aether. I figger makin' a similar gauntlet in my method would work?"
Loloki Loki: "I leave it to your discretion. You are the expert."
Chachanji Gegenji: "Well, yer doin' a compary-son, right?" he states. "So ya'd want as lil' differences between th' two as possible other'n th' aether innit." Chachanji Gegenji: "So I'll see if'n I can get ahold of some Darksteel 'round thi' quality 'n try ta replicate th' design. Jus'... also not doin' me usual exercises ta avoid puttin' Intent inta it." Chachanji Gegenji scratches at his cheek. "It'll be weird not doin' 'em, honestly. 's basically habit at thi' point."
Loloki Loki: "Yes. It would be ideal. I could provided it to you. Think of it as a new adventure, as one of my students would say"
Chachanji Gegenji: "Mm." He seems on the fence about that. "W-well, 's less adventure-seekin' 'n more wantin' ta be helpful. 'n knowin' how strong th' Intent I can put inta somethin' can be... might be nice ta help me make sure folks can handle me strongest stuff. Though I wouldn't mind knowin' how ta strengthen equipment wit aether tha' dun risk puttin' Intent inta it..." Chachanji Gegenji: "Which is kinda th' only reason 'm agreein' ta thi'. 'm trustin' ya a lot here. Plus knowin' I can get rid'a it if'n it's too dangerous... it makes me tha' lil' bit less worried."
Loloki Loki: "Intent may just be aether. If they are the same, then you will know."
Chachanji Gegenji: "I 'spose..."
Loloki Loki: "You trust easily, but I promise I will do my best to uphold my end of the bargain." Loloki Loki motions to herself.
Chachanji Gegenji: "I'd rather trust than not, if'n I can," he explains. "But I also know tha' jus' trustin' folks blindly can be dangerous too. 'specially when we're dealin' with Intent."
Loloki Loki: "Understandable. But as I said, this 'intent' of yours may just be aether. We will have to see. I am interested in this. I hope it does not disappoint."
Chachanji Gegenji: "W-well, we'll see. I dun think I'll have pro'lems recreatin' a copy'a one'a these gauntlets. 'specially if'n I have one wit me 'n all th' materials ta do it." He holds up one of the aforementioned gauntlets for emphasis. "'s... jus' actively tryin' ta put Intent inta it tha' might be difficult."
Loloki Loki: "I trust your skill and professionalism. You are free to modify them slightly, if you believe it to be necessary. Comparison is one objective. How the aether make-up changes between artificial and natural is also of interest."
Chachanji Gegenji: "Ah, r-right," he nods a nod of someone who doesn't really get what you're saying but trying to at least make it less obvious. "Well, um. Once I have th' materials, I'll see 'bout knockin' thi' out. 'm assumin' it's akay fer me ta keep one'a th' gauntlets fer ref'rence?"
Loloki Loki nods to gauntlet that Chach has, "Sure. I can have the materials delivered to you in a few suns. It will take time to find enough Darksteel of sufficient quality."
Chachanji Gegenji nods. With some of the safety concerns checked off now, he seems less... skittish about the idea. If only a little. "W-well, if'n yer havin' trouble, I can always reach out ta some'a me contacts. I... kinda inherited a Smeltin' Guild a cycle'r so ago through thi' whole trial thin' involvin' ingots 'n stuff..." A pause, then a sheepish smile. "S-so I have access ta some mines 'n folks what can provide raw materials if'n needed."
Loloki Loki: "I leave it to your discretion. As long as the materials are of sufficient quality."
Chachanji Gegenji: "'m sure they will be," he offers. "... 'course, 'll know if they ain't."
Loloki Loki nods to you.
Chachanji Gegenji: "So... um... anythin' else I can help ya wit t'day?"
Loloki Loki reaches into her robe and offers a linkpearl to Chach, "If you need to contact me. I may not always be available, but an assistant will answer instead."
Chachanji Gegenji: "Ah, sure thin'." He takes the pearl and it disappears into one of the many pouches about his person.
Loloki Loki reaches again and pulls out a heavy sack, "Your pre-payment, for materials and this consultation." She offers it to him.
Chachanji Gegenji: "A-ah, sure thin'..." he repeats, a bit more awkwardly as he feels the weight of the coinage. He usually is on the cheaper side of things - he's making his equipment to help people, not turn a profit - but he's a bit less argumentative about this one since he's dealing both with high quality Darksteel (which isn't exactly cheap) and the creation of something potentially dangerous. So it the sack also disappears into one of his pouches.
Loloki Loki: "Is that sufficient for your needs, Ser Chachanji?"
Chachanji Gegenji: "Oh, uh, yeah. Should be fine," he states. "Though, um... ya dun need ta call me 'Ser.'"
Loloki Loki: "Worry not, Ser Chachanji. It is a habit of mine." She smiles.
Chachanji Gegenji scratches at his cheek. "... If'n ya say so..."
Loloki Loki: "With that, I believe our business is concluded." She snaps her finger and her frozen frog minion reanimates, and rushes to open the door for her.
Chachanji Gegenji: "'spose so," he agrees. "Well, I'll keep ya posted on how th' glove's comin' along, then."
Loloki Loki bows courteously to you. Loloki Loki: "May the Twelve grace you, Ser Chachanji Gegenji."
You perform an Eastern bow before Loloki LokiMateus. Chachanji Gegenji: "Ah, 'n may th' kami watch ov'r ya, Ms. Loloki."
Loloki Loki leaves just like that. Her ears twitch upward, but otherwise, there's no sign of her hearing Chach's farewell.

PMD: Unbounded Fates
Chapter 3
Meeting the old and the new
[PEV] [NEXT]
It’s almost dark as the tree shadows block the light from coming into the living room. Sevin is asleep sitting on the stump with his elbow on his leg and “hand” lifting his head. Eevee is still reading the book Sevin gave.
The door opens to reveal Cindy whose looks she has been through a long day. But she was shocked to see Eevee reading and Sevin sleeping. “Rosie what are you doing here?!?” Cindy yells but keeps it down enough to not wake Sevin up.
Rosie jolted up as she was taken off guard. Rosie turns to Cindy and expanins “Mama Argon told me if something happens I should run here and find you.”
“Ok what happened?” Cindy asks. “Mama Argon hasn’t come home like she alway do.” Rosie give saden tone
“Well….ok lets go to the station and report it. But I need to do something first.” Cindy says while going towards Sevin
Cindy places her paw on Sevin's unbandaged shoulder and shakes him softly to wake him up. Sevin wakes up but half-counshantly. “Go to your bed you are not doing any good sleeping like this.” Cindy tells Sevin while guiding him to his bed.
Sevin lays in his bed and sleeps. As Cindy and Rosie go to the station to report a possibly lost eldry Argon.
./.
Sevin wakes up from his dreamless sleep expecting to be back home, but he is greeted by his black furry arms. Sevin gets up and looks outside his window….it's the morning. He puts on the bandana that the Eevee gave him and tites it around his neck, gets out of his room and goes to the kitchen to find the same plate with the yellow pear he placed now on the counter, he grabs it and eats it. It's pretty good, it's just like a pear. After sevin finished eating Cindy walks in looking more tired than him.
“Morning Sevin, can you do me a favor and grab some chesto berries in that cabinet.” Cindy asks, trying to fight the urge to go back to sleep.
Sevin goes to the cabinet and tries to look for “chesto berries”. He grabs the blue tipped berries which feel like walnuts shells and gives it to Cindy, she goes to the living room. She places the chesto berries into a teapot hanged by a metal rod, then she blows into the unkindled fire then a fire suddenly appears. This amazies Sevin but quickly drops the amazement once Cindy turns over.
Sevin and Cindy sit down at one of the many stumps and wait for the drinks to be done. Both are across from each other and both are too tired to talk. So they wait.
“So about my illiteracy, are we gonna fix that or….?” Sevin brakes the silence
“Well we can work on that today and maybe some tomorrow. But let's get some of that morning tea.” Cindy replies
Cindy goes to look if the tea is ready. It's ready, she grabs the handle and brings it to the kitchen. Moments later Cindy comes out with two medium sized cups and gives one to Sevin. He blows on it to cool it down, and drinks it. It's the best and only tea he ever drank.
“This is the best tea I ever had.” Sevin complaints “Thank you” Cindy replies
Both finished their tea. Cindy puts her cup down next to the stump “Ok lets educate you on how to read!” Cindy tells Sevin while grabbing a basic reading book.
./.
Cindy is honestly impressed by how well Sevin is chaching on. But he is having trouble with the bigger words but he's doing well. As Sevin just put two and two together as what language he is saying is transcribed into text. But they may be rune-like and unfamiliar, they have the same numbers of letters he is saying. So he does his best to guess the words and he nails it almost every time for the smaller ones.
“Well you caught on the reading part very well. Also little time has passed so we can get to the writing part.” Cindy says but then realizing she forgot “Oh your wounds let me check them.”
Sevin doesn’t argue and allows Cindy to check on him. Cindy unravels the bandages on his back, it's healed and no scarring. Finally on Sevin's face she begins to remove the bandages to reveal the wounds left scars an X across his eye but ends at his upper lips. Sevin opens his closed eyelid and Cindy see that the eye has scarring. “Can you see out of this eye?” Cindy ask Sevin “No….no I can’t” Sevin answers
“I'm gonna go outside and do some thinking.” Sevin says in a unemotional tone
Cindy doesn’t stop Sevin leaving the house, even though she wants to. Sevin goes out the back and finds a dirt path and begins to follow the path until it ends. He finds himself at a pond with a waterfall at the end being surrounded by trees.
He looks at the reflection that the pond gives him the same face he had when he got here.
The more he stares into his reflection the more anger he feels. Until an old woman's voice calls him “Little Zorua are ok? You have been staring at the pond for a good while.”
Sevin turns his head to see an Argon, her scars aplenty but mostly contained in her arms, shoulders and torso. Her right horn is cut off but only a couple inches. A large scarf covers her neck, it has a floral like pattern on it.
“Yea I’m fine….just have things to think about.” Sevin says to the Aggron
Aggron doesn’t believe the Zoroark is ok. Because she noticed the fresh scar on his eye. “You are not ok Little Zorua, you have been blinded in your eye I can tell. I feel sorry for you for losing something so vital for you. Come let's leave this forest and I will take you to my home and make you some tea to relax that troubled mind.”
“Do you know the way out, Little Zorua? I tried to take an old shortcut that I know of, but how that path changed so much over time and then I got deathly lost. Oh my little rebenka, she must be very worried about me.”
“Ya I know the way out we just need to follow that path back.” Sevin says pointing towards the dirt path he took.
Both walk on the dirt path back,Sevin walking on Aggron's right side making it so he can’t see her. Sevin can't shake the feeling that Aggron is looking at him feeling sorry for him.
Both made it out the forest and returned back to Cindy’s house Sevin went to the front door and came in with Aggron behind him. Cindy is sitting on the stump, reading something. She quickly stood up as she noticed the missing Aggron “Mama Aggron, Sevin are you both fine?” Cindy say surprisingly
“Oh, we're both fine honey, I just got a bit lost that's all.” Mama replies
“Well I need to go to the station and tell you been found. Also I need to grab Roise” Cindy says while grabbing her bag.
“No I’ll grab Rosie and go back to my home and little Zorua can come with me so that I don't lose my way” Mama says a bit jokenly at the end.
“Well ok, Rosie is staying at Decidueye place, you know where he lives right? Mama Argon.” Cindy asks Mama “Well I know where he lives. Let's get going little Zorua.” Mama replies
Sevin follows Mama out the house and back walking through the forest. They went half way through the forest without talking as the thickness of the forest became less. Then they made it into a small town made from stones and wood. As they walked further into the town Sevin saw something that caught his one eye: a large board with papers on it, next to it is a pokemon standing behind a large table with a large blue cloth and a sign propped onto the front. Probably a job opening Sevin guessed by its red words and overall largeness but he was not sure that it is he only got a glimpse of it.
After following Mama through a left turn she stops a building “Now I just need to pick up Rosie so just stay here,Little Zorua.” Mama says, giving a cheery expression.
Mama knocks on the door, the door opens and she comes in. Sevin waits with arms crossed and his back on the building. He waits until a Treveant passes him and then turns around. “Aren't you the Zoroark I carried two days ago?” The Treveant questions Sevin.
Sevin takes a minute to recognize the Treveant “Oh you that Treveant that carried me to the hospital.”
“Well you are doing quite good for yourself. Well we shouldn’t be strangers to each other, my name is Trev and you.” Trev says, putting their hand out for a shake.
“My name is Sevin, nice to meet you.” Sevin says while shaking Trev's hand and giving a smile.
“Well anyways I gotta update the favor board, wanna come with me? You look like you've been doing nothing also there hiring soo maybe you should check it out and see if you're up to it.” Trev sayes to Sevin who just nods his head in agreement.
So Sevin follows Trev to the board. Trev starts pulling down papers and setting new ones. Sevin walks to the pokemon a Murkrow if he recalls correctly. “I see that you are hiring new people for the job?” Sevin ask
“Well yes we are hiring, are you perhaps interested?” Murkrow responds
“Of course I am. Are there any things I need to know before I join?” Sevin questions
“Well first thing is this job gets a tad bit dangerous and second thing seeing that a partner you might be paired with a criminal.” Murkrow says but then blurts out “Not the dangerous ones, just the ones who did low level crimes and got accepted to the second chance program.”
“Sure I’m fine with that.” Sevin responds
The Murkrow nods and goes underneath the table cloth. Murkrow pulls out an ink container and a small board with a piece of paper on top of it. Sevin knows he needs to fill out the paperwork, he looks at the paper filled to the brim with words. He tries to read it but it's mostly saying that any injuries or your death is not at fault of the guild.
Sevin dips the edge of his claw and tries to sign his name the best he can, it doesn't look good, not as neat as the Doc’s handwriting. The Murkrow grabs the board and looks at Sevin’s signature “Well at least more legible than the others. So just come back to see if you got the job.”
Sevin gives a one sided smile and nods and leaves going back to the building he was staying put at. Once he crosses his arms and puts his back upon the wall. He looks up and it's almost getting dark.

EPISODE THREE: I’M A GENIUS AND A MORON - OLIVIA
I'm still feeling weird in regards to old saint Nicklas. The vote went from him suggesting Ricky to everybody just hopping aboard that train in minutes/an hour so I think I'll have to leep my eye on him for sure. I dont want to say much for now though but I may need to start some seed droppin’.
youtube
So I now have an alliance with Kurt, Sharifa, and Ned and tbh we stan. Kurt and Sharifa are messy bitches, and Ned is our straight ally. Olivia and Trent are shady and can go. This individual immunity twist is annoying, I'm fine with going to tribal I guess but the fact that up to 3 people on our tribe could win immunity... thank u next! Well, I guess I'll have to see how this challenge goes before I strategize further...
I know you might need immunity Birch (more like you do) but why are you snatching from your tribe members? I guess you really want that immunity huh 😂😂 maybe there’s something I don’t know about.. I need to see about finding that idol just incase..
Olivia tries to snatch the Ancient Thera Ticket from Matt Olivia tries to snatch the Ancient Thera Ticket from Matt Olivia tries to snatch the Ancient Thera Ticket from Matt Olivia tries to snatch the Ancient Thera Ticket from Matt Olivia tries to snatch the Ancient Thera Ticket from Matt Olivia tries to snatch the Ancient Thera Ticket from Matt
With the twist of both tribes going to Tribal Council this round I’m feeling a little bit nervous. I can’t go for the immunity necklaces myself because of my work schedule. I’m not necessarily nervous for my own game though. The McBITCHES alliance and the TEA SLUTS alliance are both alive and well. OLIVIA and I are discussing possible boots as well and we’re leaning towards NED and JAKE since they’re both hardly around. Out of those two, I think I’d prefer JAKE to be the one voted out next. NED and I have a little bit of history from previous non-TS games and I genuinely think we could work well together. OLIVIA did pitch JAKE to me, so I think we could make that happen fairly easily. But it’s still very early and a whole lot of things could change between now and tribal.
I’m a genius and a moron
* a bit later*
Me in a pepper Potts voice: you can rest now, summers
Matt summers: finally closes his eyes knowing I can no longer spam him
Me: now onto this bitch Keegan who keeps trying to steal my goddamn ticket
* a while after that*
If Kurt takes one look at the atomic wiki my life is over
youtube
Really really really bonded with Kurt during this challenge and the last few days. We were already buddies and good with each other but I feel closer than ever and I really love that dude 🥰
Trent had to talk to me to get birch’s name out because we both wanted to say but I had him say it!! But I didn’t want to throw birch’s name out RIGHT in front of Keegan like that but he seemed to switch with us..idk if he’s for it or if it’s just for the group or if he’s just not for it but he probably doesn’t trust me for that LMAO yikes
I’ve forgiven birch for what happened in our last game but I’ll never be comfortable existing in a game simultaneously as them ever again. I’ve been uncomfortable since day 1 and I hope we finally vote them out so that experience can stop plaguing me with birch’s presence
Now that this challenge is 4.5 hours from finish, I suppose 9 would be a good time to get started or maybe sooner. A part of me felt it may be smarter to not post at all but I I don't want people getting too suspicious of me and feel I have an idol
Hmm so the goal today will be to get votes onto Emma and then proceed to get 2 votes on someone else in case of the idol...let's see if it goes anywhere!
Kurt and I at tribal council with immunities around our necks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcTQclKPZ2g&feature=youtu.be
Listen did I intentionally let slip that Kage most likely used that extra vote on Sarah later on so matt might change his vote and I would get the advantage IM NOT SAYING YES OR NO But also I’ve been so worried about summers but he said he wanted to work together and with smart people and the people on his tribe honestly seem frustrating and I was like babe sign me up. I hope he doesn’t strangle the life out of me again but I’d rather have a friend out of him than an enemy I chose the villainous route for the advantage 😬 if I told birch they were getting votes they would’ve flipped out and spiraled all day, I couldn’t do it. its only round three and it’s so messy oh my god. Please let me sleep and let this vote pass
Sooooo. Olivia told me that people have been talking about me and Lukas in Uluru, so that fun. I have a target on my back because of a game i played 8 months ago and a person who isn't even on my tribe. I also don't have immunity. I think we are going Ned, but I have Paranoia.
Tell me why Emma is saying there were nothing at Thera. That’s such a blatant lie. I don’t believe it. We just had our votes revealed AND an extra vote and she got nothing? Anyways. She’s already told Dennis where she looked for the idol. Tried talking to Sarah while she was at Thera. And then told me she had nothing there. So like clearly she don’t trust me like I thought she would when I first started playing Also just to be clear, it’s very likely Kage who voted Sarah this last round so we need to keep that in mind (and make her paranoid about it so she doesn’t stick with the 5).
So now the immunity's over and it seemed Emma was going, but now I know she is likely going to vote Kage out, which is good that it isn't me, but I hope no idol play kills Kage ahh.
My plan of wanting to vote our JAKE or NED didn’t exactly pan out the way I wanted to. The McBITCHES alliance decided that voting out BIRCH is our best option right now. They’re difficult to maintain conversation with and apparently they have a connection with Lucas on the other tribe. If there’s a swap that kind of connection could be bad. However everyone in this game has some kind of connection. It’s not necessarily a bad thing. NED and I have a bit of an alliance ongoing right now so keeping him around could definitely be beneficial.
Both tribes are going to tribal. All 3 Immunities are at the other tribe and that is exactly how I wanted things to go. I wanted to keep the options for our tribal as open as possible 1/8 chance to be voted out is way better than 1/5, not that I could've been there for 24hrs to do the challenge anyways, but yeah. Long story short Matt approaches me and asks me to work together to keep the Ancient Thera ticket between us, just to properly find out what is going on there. Because for some reason a lightround has been activated from ancient Thera and an extra vote was cast, that wasn't revealed and nobody wants to own up to it. None of the ancient Thera people seem to wanting to talk about it. Matt gets the ticket, goes there and tells me that he has to fullfil this 1 task otherwise he loses his vote. Besides that he tells me that Malik is on the outs of the other tribe and Birch's option apparently was either, no advantage for themselves but advantage for the tribe or the other way around with a disadvantage for the tribe. So Kage lied : ))) I know that, Matt knows that, Sarah knows that. Kage is definitely NOT trustworthy. But who do we vote now? The idol has been found (somewhat likely by Kage, seeing that he mentioned the door quite a few times), but it also could be in the posession of literally anyone else. So it has been my goal for the entire cycle to stay good with everyone and make sure that if there is an advantage being played, it isn't played against me. Kage has been going around all day making sure the vote is on Emma, what I am okay with, since Emma has been literally non-available since the game started. But yeah let's see. Last tribal prove 1 thing and that we can most likely count on many advantages to be showing up in a season like this, so in the end. Anyone can go home...
Right now, Emma's on and has been informed she is getting votes. Dennis claimed she wants to go on Kage, which confused me only because I thought he already told me but I guess that was just Nicklas and/or Matt...Matt at least told me haha so I hope this won't be flipping over on Kage but yeah the next few hours should be interesting
So my alliance with Ned, Kurt, and Sharifa is confirmed with Malik on the side. The vote seems to be geared towards Birch since they’re not in our alliance or Sharifa’s alliance with Trent and Olivia. Apparently Birch is voting Ned and Trent or Olivia is throwing a vote on Ned, so it looks like Ned and I are throwing a vote on Keegan in case an idol is somehow played. Doesn’t matter to me as long as I’m not voted out. But after that I want my allies safe hehe. I think there will be a tribe swap next. I don’t really want to throw a vote because if i’m on a tribe with trent and olivia or keegan i’d have to own it or lie, either way there could be a good amount of tension. SOS!
The closer it gets to tribal the worse I feel about the vote possibly being BIRCH. They’re just so lovely and fun to have around. NED is an alright dude but he’s so inactive compared to BIRCH or literally anyone on the tribe. It’s sort of painful to be voting out someone I genuinely like in the off chance that they align with someone they previously played with it a swap happens. But such is the game. In the long run keeping NED is actually going to be better for my game. Right now he’s currently just an extra vote to be used by whoever he sticks by. So I’m going to do my best to make sure that it is me he’s sticking by.
I’m really really scared they’re all lying to me and it’s gonna be me tonight but I’ve just gotta go with the flow I guess. I don’t wanna look like a fool
have been mega busy but here's the lowdown Oliva and Trent are frickin chaches who think they're running the show but they're dumb Sharifa is my #1 now Sharifa Kurt Jake and I are in an alliance and Malik is our 5th number and we've formed to put a stop to Olivia and Trent But this vote we are voting out Birch because we don't want to cause a ton of chaos before the swap. And I am getting votes from Keegan and Birch so Jake and I are voting Keegan in case Birch plays an idol. I'm concerned about Oliva and Trent voting me as well, causing a 4-3-2 vote. I tried to convince everyone to vote Keegan/Olivia/Trent but no one wants to make any ripples. If I go home because of this I'll be big mad. Keegan sucks at this game and life Olivia and Trent also suck at this game and should leave the internet forever.
youtube
Okay so it should be Emma going tonight. I don’t like that bc I like Emma a lot but I guess people want whatever is easiest. TBH I don’t like Kage that much so I am just itching to flip but I know it’s too early to be a crackhead like that. So RIP Emma. Here are my thots on everyone Kage - a little brash and not fun to talk to, I want him gone like now. Matt - very nice and smart and needs to go before it’s too late. Sarah - I am coming to love her. Dennis - I <3 him. Nicklas - Cool but a lil much sometimes. I really try to vibe w him because I wanted him as my #1 but he’s hard to read. Andreas - Same as Matt. I think he’s easier to read but I think he’s also better socially than Matt. Anyone else - idek. I want a swap or sumn. I’m getting a little bored of these ppl. Also fuck whatever person got me eliminated from the last challenge. I was just trying to have funnnnnnnnnnnn! But everyone who got a necklace deserved it bc they worked so hard.
youtube
Emma is fighting to get Kage out. And this is exactly why we’re friends. We literally just chose the same person because we don’t like him lol. I wonder if it helped that I tried convincing Sarah that Kage voted her the other day. Dennis is low key against it because he doesn’t want anyone to get mad. But I think imma try seeing if people would be willing to do it
***20 mins later***
Okay welp. I tried. Emma’s been too inac tho and most people don’t think they should save her Whatever ig. I’m okay with it. Hopefully it doesn’t get back to Kage I tried to get people to flip I only really dislike Kage on my tribe. And have been less connected with Chris. But I’ve talked a lot with Dennis, Lukas, Matt, Sarah, and Andreas so as long as no one gets paranoid, the swap we’re all expecting shouldn’t be bad.

Additional Information –––-
SMOKING HABIT: never / sometimes / frequently / to excess DRUGS: never / sometimes / frequently / to excess ALCOHOL: never / sometimes / frequently / to excess
Possible Hooks –––-
Highly Skilled Gegenji Smith - Member of the Gegenji family, which has some fame around Yanxia, Chachanji is extremely skilled at his craft. While he focuses mainly on crafting armor to protect others, he is also able to craft tools, perform all sorts of repairs and maintenance and - should he be properly swayed and convinced to do so - craft very powerful weaponry.
(It should be noted that due to his pacifistic nature, getting him to make or improve weaponry will require a high degree of trust with the individual.)
Seneschal of House Dentra - Through a strange rite of initiation, Chachanji is now the current head of a minor Ul’dahn noble house. House Dentra is most notable for also being the owner of a Smelting Guild, owning various facilities and mines scattered across Eorzea. They also help staff the satellite facility “Three Ingot Outlet” (named after the aforementioned initiation) that opens during the Sultana’s Breath Shopping Arcade.
Mr. Eorzea/”Champion” Chachan - Chachanji has been crowned the victor in two competitions - the Mr. Eorzea competition and the Grindstone. While he has only won each once, these victories somehow remain decently well known - likely due to how much it flusters him - with the latter in no small part due to the sweetwater and fruit juice drink named after him at the Quicksand. Despite this he still tends to pop by the Grindstone itself now and then as either a spectator or a participant for training purposes.
Free Paladin of Ul’dah - While he doesn’t directly work with the Sultansworn, Chachanji has been ordained a proper Free Paladin of Ul’dah by one Coatleque Crofte. He does often take up various levequests to help people under that title, and - more commonly - serves as a regular resource for the Sultansworn to have their regalia repaired and refitted. He also assists the Flames in a similar capacity, so anyone with connections with either group might have seen or heard of the little smith.
Source or First - Chachan is currently on the Source but I do have plans in mind for Chachan to end up stuck on the First thanks to the antics of a Pixie named Gria Gai - and possibly need of help and/or a way back home! When it happens is still up in the air (and probably can be shifted around if needed), but it does mean Chachan could potentially encountered in either Shard. And even if Chachan is still on the Source, he has a Reflection on the First that is still plenty available to be interacted with.
What I’m Looking for ––––
Friends - Chachan is always one to make new friends, even if they seem the sort that most might not give a fair shake to. From Garleans to half-voidsent, if you seem like a decent enough person, he’ll probably be willing to at least try!
Customers - As a skilled smith, it’s nice to actually have Chachan doing his job via RP rather than just saying he does. This extends from armorcraft to repair to possibly even serving a potential source of work at one of House Dentra’s facilities or mines.
Helping People - Chachan likes trying to help people out, so whether for one-shots or in longer arcs, getting to have the little guy help out someone in need would be pretty neat. Just lemme know what the general idea is and we can see if the floofy-haired dork can help out in it!
RP in General - Slice of life, RP events, arcs. Basically I’m just looking to interact more with the various interesting people, places, and occurrences that take place in the world of FFXIV! It’s part of my goal in Shadowbringers to really get Chachan out there a lot more.
OOCly, I am ––––
A contract programmer who is free most evenings, and frequently looking for someone to RP with, just hang out, or even go flail around in Overwatch. Most of my evenings and weekends tend to be open, so I’m looking to fill them with SOCIAL ACTIVITIES.
I will warn up front that I’m the sort that doesn’t like to idle around too much, however. So, if I don’t have anything planned for the day, I’ll often try to entertain myself doing something - whether it be leveling Jobs or Trusts or what-have-you. The thing to keep in mind is that these are usually just my way to waste time, and I would often prefer to do something like RP instead! So please feel free to poke me via /tells or Discord or whatever, even if it looks like I’m busy. I will definitely let you know if I am, but more likely I’ll totally drop whatever I’m doing for something far more fun - like RPing with you!
As for the RP itself... I’m open to try most things within reason. Overly dark or violent themes will likely need to be okayed first (I’m not against them but Chachan’s a cheerful, friendly, gentle sort and that can clash with very gritty stories sometimes!), but I’m willing to give a lot of more lore-bendy ideas and plots a shot if you can sell me on it! I am also open for RP/chatting both in-game proper as well as over Discord (Hamelin#0069).
Additional Plot Hook: Gojirafell ––––
Chachanji - due to a sort of monkey’s paw situation involving a strange snake oil salesman and a modified Gobbielixir potion - has gained the ability to pull an Apache Chief or Ultraman and become quite large. How large is dependent on how much aether he intakes - and thus something he has to watch out for. Overhealing, anything with ether-like properties, and even the aether that Primals use when they seek to temper (which oddly enough makes him immune to that effect) will cause this to happen whether he likes it or not. As such, he tries to avoid situations where the very large cat might be let out of the bag.
This is kept under a Read More mostly because it is a Plot Hook that could fall outside people’s comfort zones where it comes to lore-bending and personal head-canons. As such, it’s something that only will be a Thing in situations where it is clearly identified that it is being used and, more importantly, that everyone involved is okay with it. Otherwise, it will rarely - if ever - be directly alluded to or even referenced. After all, it’s something Chachan would be trying to keep secret about in either case!
As for how someone might come across this odd trait, the events of his trip to Kugane - the rescue of the sinking ship specifically - resulted in a drunken captain and crew spouting tales of a sea giant that rescued them. These were overheard by a Kugane writer and have become the basis of a series of Doman stories and picture books. Not to mention the events of the recently completed Kyodai Hero arc could provide further ways!
Or we could probably manage to manufacture a scene where the secret slips - either just slip of the tongue or witnessing the Gojirafell himself! Especially for any First RP as the Pixie that abducted him is well aware of his ability and gets an absolute kick out of messing with him with it. Both to embarrass him and to glamour his outfit to show off her burgeoning fashion sense on such a sizable canvas (Yes, she takes some cues from Tomoyo from Cardcaptor Sakura)!

Ghostwire smirked a little bit. So far Veronica was the only human she consistently can tolerate on this planet. Sure with the promotion and stuff she worked harder and longer. But at least, "Suni" can keep a roof over her head. And also a bonus of having a human not entirely scared of her holoform's size and demeanor.
But she's not entirely happy and relaxed. She was sitting on the bench wiping away the sweat and grease from her brow. It was break time. Yet her mind wondered to what she concluded last night.
The femme now knows somebot is refilling that chache. She had to more careful now with her hidden enclosure. Or other stay bots-- or the one who kept refilling the supplies might show. Ghostwire can not risk being found first... she had to find out who and why. Before either side tries to take her down, permanently.

Firefl--Veronica stood ready in front of the gate at 9:00AM, badge and bundle of PPE at the ready. She herself was dressed in a heavy-duty compression tank top, a safety vest, gloves, radio receiver on the belt of her flame-proof shorts, earmuffs hanging around her neck along with her ID lanyard, and her sungoggles. Her hair was wound up into a large bun at the back of her head but small wisps of hair hung loose.
She'd worked hard on the holomatter avatar, if it didn't have imperfections in styles, it'd look too perfect. And she was a sucker for details.

Overly dark or violent themes will likely need to be okayed first, but I’m willing to give a lot of more lore-bendy ideas and plots a shot if you can sell me on it! I am also open for RP/chatting both in-game proper as well as over Discord (Hamelin#0069).
Gojirafell ––––
Is actually an IC thing, and a potential Plot Hook in its own right if folks want to interact with (or utilize) such a fantastical element. However, it is not something I normally will bring attention to since it could (and probably does) easily fall outside people’s comfort zones with regard to lore-bending and such. As such, Gojirafell is technically only A Thing in situations where people are okay with it being A Thing. Otherwise, it will rarely - if ever - be directly alluded to or even referenced.
Not to mention there’s a pair of horribly in debt alchemists who may be overheard muttering of a lost dream of creating giant soldiers. Otherwise, we could probably manage to manufacture a scene where the secret slips - either just slip of the tongue or witnessing the Gojirafell himself!
