Headcanon [Benji] - Various 

Just a few tid-bits about Benji from his old blog that I’m bringing over here. I’ve been writing him for almost a decade, so there’s a lot here that is often irrelevant to threads and interactions, but these are all just from my own personal take on Benji’s character.

FAMILY: Benji has one older brother, Jonathan, who is married with two children. Benji dotes on his niece and nephew as though they were own. His parents are both still alive, although he is closer to his mother than he is his father. 

GLASSES: Benji has worn glasses since he was 14 years old (for distance - his reading eyesight is fine). He generally wears contact lenses most of the time, though, since it’s more practical for missions. 

TALENTS: Benji’s talents include singing, playing drums and a little bit on the harmonica (played best when intoxicated). He sadly cannot dance to save his life. 

LANGUAGES: During his time traveling as a child, due to his mother being in the military, he began to learn some other languages. This was then expanded on when joining the IMF. He is mostly fluent in Russian, Spanish, German and French, while being competent in Italian, Mandarin and Arabic. 

ALLERGIES: Benji is allergic to peanuts.

COMFORTS: Benji feels most comfortable and safe at home. He tends to lounge around in his pjs when he’s not on mission, his favourite being a pair that Jane bought from Disney for him - they have Pluto the dog on, a call-back to his codename. 

TRAUMA: Benji is medically diagnosed with PTSD due to numerous instances in his work, but primarily his kidnapping and later hanging at the hands of Solomon Lane. He sees a psychologist semi-regularly, more frequently whenever he finds himself struggling more. He also never fully recovered from the death of his friend Trevor Hanway - this was his first experience of death in the field and first experience of losing a friend before his eyes.

SENTIMENTALITY: Benji is not big on jewellery or religion, but he has a St. Christopher necklace that his mother gave him when he was younger that he keeps on him at all times. 

INTIMACY: Benji’s position of preference is always as a bottom, and he is generally more of a submissive partner, very eager to please. That said, he isn’t against taking more control if with someone who he feels comfortable around.

i took a LONG TIME off, so it's been a hot minute (lmao shut up)

but anyway, i'm back!! and i'll probably write lil snippets whenever i feel like it, so there won't be any scheduled posts for the time being

but what i do have in my drafts:

// reader finally gets a date with cold hearted (bias name) but is faced with garlic rice, her one and only allergy, but she sucks it up and eats it in front of him even though she's shaking like a leaf, soon after thhe date, he finds out you were allergic and that's where sentimental things happen ;)

// fallen angel au where reader dies a wrongful death, and has ascended to heaven but howerver refuses to have her memories erased. from up there, she sees (bias name) depressed about her death, and begs a second time to have him forget her, so that he could freely do whatever he wants, even if it feels like her heart's been wrenched away from her. then few things happen, and she finds out that he's forcibly involved in a money heist with his 'girlfriend'. she gets a chance to descend and help him, but with the cost of her wings, and a second life.

// hobbies run for life, reader-chan knows that too well. for her, it's paintings. her whole room was always littered in paintings and her college dorm never felt like it was the appropriate place to do that. her parents arranged for an apartment, but it had a twist. she was to share with someone, but she's oblivious to that and ends up happily agreeing to live in a spacious apartment. a few things around, she meets (bias name) a band player for some semi famous band and the atmosphere between two performing arts majors drastically changes. (this was actually a newt from maze runner x reader imagine i had in my notes for a long long time)

// (bias name) is always hearing a voice. it's always enticed him, but everytime he tries to find out who that person is, he ultimately fails. one day, he goes home to find a nanny, a ridiculously pretty one. and when he hears from his sister that she was someone from the same uni as him, and is insanely good at singing, he's piecing the clues together and moves to chase after you even before he's realized it.
