What I have seen the past couple of days while reporting and blocking yet more of the bloody bots:
yet more posts insisting asexual and aromantic are two totally different things, 'some people are both, they're still different things'. Also some poll with only two options, trying to force us to choose between which we identify with more, ace or aro. It's both stop trying to force a split or divide that does not exist (once again fuck all of us who are both and in many cases have basically had the term aromantic (or in some cases asexual) forced on us because people are incapable of grasping that for many of they are absolutely the same thing and are completely inseparable and there is no 'split'.)
'Asexuals aren't oppressed, I can say this because I'm ace' Mate it's fucking 2024 are we seriously STILL trying to do this. Newflash: saying you're asexual doesn't make you incapable of being aphobic and just because you apparently live in some privileged little bubble where you've never experienced oppression doesn't mean you get to deny countless other people's oppression also you didn't even bother to say 'oppressed for being asexual', you literally totally forgot that other oppression exists and a huge percentage of asexual people are also oppressed for many other reasons. I hope this person grows as a person and doesn't just fall down the TERF pipeline they're probably already falling into anyway
Someone saying essentially about how they don't get kink because they're asexual and I mean sure you do you, nobody has to be kinky, and also you're a minor and maybe you'll change as you grow up but you realise right huge numbers of asexual people are kinky in fact from everything I've seen I would think asexual people are actually more likely to be kinky since we don't have the whole, you know, sexual attraction thing so in many cases something else is gonna kind of... fill that gap instead. Like kinks.
People acting like they're superior for being 'loveless'/not calling what they feel for anything or anyone ever 'love', as if a lot of that isn't literally just arguing over semantics anyway
Yet more stuff implying that aroaces are widely accepted and supported and loved unlike alloaces or alloaros when actually we're basically hated by both the ace and aro communities and get constantly blamed for everyone thinking every asexual person is also aro or vice versa. I swear some of these people are this close to trying to claim 'aroace privilege' is a thing that exists (assuming they aren't already doing that).
Way too much of people being weird about sex/people who have sex. I am sorry but you can never want sex and you can hate sex or any mention of sex without being gross about it and making weird and insulting comments about people who have sex which by the way does include plenty of asexual/aspec people. I genuinely think some of these people have 'sex repulsion' which has gone into full on phobias which are significantly impacting negatively on their life. I mean this in the kindest way possible but if the slightest vaguest mention of sex or genitals or the merest glimpse of an unclothed body in some shitty quality jpg is affecting you that badly, that is not just sex repulsion, that is certainly not asexuality, and it is something you need professional help with.
Also yeah still hundreds of those damned mostly health supplements but also plenty of porn and other random bots
The other problem with all these spam bots though in that tag is in going through it to report them I'm having to see all the not spam stuff much of which reminds me why I almost never look in that and related tags
(Since when is 'aces love garlic bread' a thing, why is that even a thing ???? I hate garlic bread, I hate garlic, I hate the taste of it and the smell of it makes me want to throw up.
Then there's all the equating asexuality to not wanting to have sex, the acting like anyone who ships an asexual character with anyone is never asexual themselves, the constant trying to foist the SAM on all asexuals and the erasure of/the shit towards aroaces/non SAM asexuals/asexuals who have sex/asexuals who would totally have sex even if they haven't yet, and the insistence that asexuality and aromanticism are TOTALLY and ALWAYS different things (fuck all of us for whom they are not I guess), the stuff about that bloody cartoon character, etc etc)
#also still loads of stuff about garlic bread#which I still don't get#aphobia#acephobia#sex negativity#asexuality#aromanticism

Hi there, I just saw your post about Lilith Fairen. Just wanted to let you know, just in case you didn't, that she's also active here on Tumblr as well, so you can block her here too. She has also invalidated me as an autistic person for the same exact reason and I've seen her do it to othrr people too, and she's also invalidated tons of people as queer people and woman, and she's also been violently racist and antisemitic in the fndm since arriving here a year ago (very recently she even used the G slur and has been shrieking about "being harassed" every time someone brings it up or asks her to apologize.) And yes she's also been violently ableist (a few months back one of her most loyal supporters said that Ironwood's prosthetics were good enough that they made him 'able bodied' so he did not count as disabled and then when people pointed out he would die without them he said that made it a 'quality of life' issue and he should just die, and Lilith Fairen defended him hard-core and attacked a bunch of disabled people for "making a big deal out of nothing" and for "pretending someone is ableist to cancel them" because we're apparently all "misogynistic" because ableism only counts to her if it's about someone with a vagina (oh yeah she's also a rabid radfem who constantly attackes bi people, ace people, trans people, and nonbinary people and accuses them of being cishet men lying about their identities so they can cancel rwby for being more progressive than them, or if she does admit that they are queer she calls them the "bad kinds" of queer people and incites hate against them by accusing them of self-internalized bigotry so they can cancel rwby for being more progressive than them, and she uses her status as lesbian to claim Supreme queerness and attack people she considers "less queer" or "less female" than her. She also jumps onto every single post about any issue anyone has with rooster teeths bigotry and randomly tries to turn it into a genitals thing, like when there was a post about how racist it is that one of the only dark-skinned main characters (oscar) was brutally tortured onscreen and the DVD commentary had the white creators being VERY excited and gleeful about it, when the camera has to cut away whenever a white character gets hurt, Lilith showed up screaming that everybody was "misogynistic" because I guess she thinks that torturing characters of color is okay as long as they have a penis. Thats also her favorite excuse whenever anyone talks about the blatant and horrifying ableism in ironwoods fall. Nobody can say a single solitary thing about how ableist it is to turn a triple amputee into a villain and blame it on their ptsd and give them a scary grimm prosthetic and make them use that prosthetic to do their evil crimes and and give them a "hyperfixation" semblance that makes it "easier for them to be evil" and say out loud in the dvd commentary that losing a limb is symbolic of losing humanity, without Lilith Fairen showing up to shriek that he has a penis so that means it's "misogynistic" to criticize the able-bodied cishet white men who wrote the story that way
She's been harassing and abusing rwde posters here on Tumblr since at least September, and has stated multiple times that every single person who says so much as a stray negative word about Rooster Teeth is a "misogynistic homophobe" and that we're just "making up lies" because we "hate rwby for being progressive" and we want to "cancel uwu rooster teeth," and yes she has included Calxiyn and Murder of Birds in that group lmao despite them famously being some of the shows biggest fans, and she specifically accused Murder of Birds of "not understanding oppression" because he said that Rooster Teeth should have told the people who bought digital tickets to RTX that they decided to cancel digital tickets, and asked if they would be refunded, and I guess she thinks that makes him misogynistic.
Oh and idk if you know who canonseeker is, but he and Lilith were really buddy-buddy for awhile and she defended him hard-core despite (or maybe because of) his violent antisemitism, but now she pretends she barely ever interacted with him idk what the last straw was lol but yeah. Oh and she goes on constant deleting sprees after each REALLY bad scandal, to make sure nobody has solid proof of her actions, like she had a side blog that was openly and braggingly themed around cyberstalking and harassing rwde posters who had blocked her, but she deleted it because of all the antisemitism on it, and then she also went through a month or so ago and deleted every single post she had ever made on her main account and started over with a "clean" slate after all the ableism stuff I mentioned (she also claims now that she barely interacted with her buddy that she hard-core defended in that situation too.) I've been told that deleting her accounts is something she's been doing for years, long before she came to rwby, for this exact reason.
Because yeah apparently she does this to all her fandoms, and when she first showed up here, she came with tons of warnings from people who knew her from other things. She's obsessed with hating Madoka Magica and she viciously attacks people over it all the time (even if they had never seen or heard of it before) and she's been banned from a ton of magical girl subreddits because of it. And when she first came to the rwby fndm, she constantly posted boastfully about how she at the time had never even watched rwby, but said that she googled it so I guess that made her think she was the Supreme authority on it, and she also openly bragged that she had come to rwby because she found out that somebody she hates over magical girl reasons happened to also be critical of rwby so she decided to punish everybody who is critical of rwby as a result (which is why she's so hypocritical in that she will say something like "it is not wrong to criticize media created by cishet men" about madoka magica but then start screaming that everybody is "misogynist" if they criticize media created by cishet men if it's rwby.) She has also openly bragged that she intentionally attacks rwde posters because she craves the attention she gets, both from rwde posters who respond to her attacks, and from her radfem followers that applaud her for it, and she also has a habit of whining to her own followers about how mad she is that they don't give any attention to her non-rwby posts and how that's why she does this to begin with, is to get more attention. She does not actually care about rwby, she literally has openly spelled it out a hundred times that she came here to bully people to punish someone she hates because she's obsessed with Madoka and she stays because she found out she gets likes and praise every time she attacks a marginalized viewer in defense of the cishet white men who make the show.
Anyway I recommend you don't actually answer or publish this ask, because even if you DO block her she has unknown sock-puppet accounts and flying monkeys everywhere so that she can evade the numerous blocks people have against her (which she openly brags about doing) and incites hate against every single person who so much as points out that she's harassing them (which is I guess her only definition of 'harassment,' is "saying that lilith fairen harassed you") and I don't want to paint an even bigger target on your back with this ask. Just wanted to warn you that yeah this is a HUGE problem and she will definitely find you and attack you and probably send you a ton of anon hate and she'll screen shot your posts and spread vicious lies about you and make fun of you to her followers and send them to give you anon hate as well. That's basically her entire identity at this point so heads up, it's coming. :/
Thanks I'll keep a heads up.

TERFs make my blood boil: On Being Podcast edition
For those of you fortunate enough to not know what they are, TERFs are trans-exclusionary radical feminists. There are a wide variety of them (and some sound reasonable at first blush), but those few "man-hating feminists" who actually exist are all pretty much TERFs. And part of what their extremist response to men ends up as is a denial that transwomen are women. (Hence "trans-exclusionary.") Feminism isn't about equality for all people, to a TERF; it's about advancement for biological females. These are also the people behind "queer is a slur which can't be reclaimed!" Because queer is an umbrella category, see, which makes it a lot harder to police who is a "real" LGBT+ person than any other term. And if you can push some people--aces, genderqueer, transpeople, bi/pan people, and others out or at least to the fringes--you can much more easily separate out who the "real" women are, and who "deserves" support, from those who "don't". Anyway, I was listening to the On Being podcast today. (On Being, for those of you who don't know, is an EXCELLENT radio show/podcast which "opens up the animating questions at the center of human life: What does it mean to be human, and how do we want to live?" It often addresses issues of religion and spirituality from a broad range of traditions.) This week's show is a conversation with Joy Ladin, an Orthodox Jewish transwoman who is a professor at Stern College for Women of Yeshiva University. And I was excited. Queer representation! Religious queer representation! I'm not trans, and I'm not Jewish, but I am asexual and aromantic and there isn't much out there sympathetic to the intersection of queerness and religion, and most of what there is focuses on Evangelical/Fundamentalist/Conservative Christianity (which I am not) and homosexuality, no nuance or anything (and I'm also not homosexual).
A few minutes in, Joy started talking about hurtful comments on her blog posts dealing with transitioning in her forties. These comments were from both very conservative and very liberal people, she said, and they agreed about something. And I thought, Oh, God, it's TERFs. I am disappointed but not surprised when conservatives are nasty to queer people; when supposed progressives are, it hits a lot harder. Joy did not use that term, but apparently they were all very adamant that gender isn't just about presentations, it's about experiences, and they've experienced oppression because they are women that Joy hasn't because everybody assumed she was a man for the first 40+ years of her life, so she really doesn't count as a woman. Or, at least, not as much of a woman as they are.
Reader, I had to stop listening. Because Joy seemed to have accepted this and internalized this, from what little of the conversation about this I could stand to hear. This is what INFURIATES me about TERFs. I get that shared or similar trauma can be a powerful bonding mechanism; I get that someone who hasn't shared that trauma or one like it will be different than someone who has. But TRAUMA AND THE EXPERIENCE OF SEXISM IS NOT THE WHOLE OR EVEN LARGEST PART OF WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A WOMAN. AND EVEN IF IT WAS, NOBODY GETS TO POLICE WHOSE TRAUMA WAS "ENOUGH" OR THE "RIGHT KIND" OF TRAUMA. Part of the TERF hatred of transgender women is a belief that because they didn't suffer sexism, they can never really be women or understand what it is to be a woman. This comes down to believing that either a) the trauma of being TRAPPED IN THE WRONG BODY and forced into a gender presentation that is wrong for you is the WRONG KIND of gender-related trauma, or b) that it is NOT TRAUMATIC ENOUGH. And it also says that the TERFs get to police what womanhood "really" is. Let's break this down using Joy's experience, and mine, okay? Joy is transgender. They started the podcast talking a little bit about her kids (born and raised when she was presenting as male according to her genitalia). They always wanted her to tell them stories, and she had a real problem, because she was a good dad, and knew that she wasn't supposed to tell stories about depressing things or suicidal ideation. She glosses over that a bit and moves on quickly, but she did say it: she apparently had some depression deep enough for suicidal ideation. She spent a bit more time on the fact that because she was so dissociated from her body, she really didn't form many memories. She had ONE happy childhood memory suitable for telling her kids: one time, she made a poptart, wrapped it in a towel, and went outside and ate it on a cold day. THIS IS THE ONLY HAPPY MEMORY OF CHILDHOOD SHE HAS. If that's NOT ENOUGH trauma, well, I don't know what would be. Do you have to be raped to have "enough" trauma to count as a woman? Do you have to actually attempt suicide, not just contemplate it? If it's just that it's not the right KIND of trauma, well. Let's consider my experiences, shall we? That icon up there, the woman in red with a flower choker and her face turned away from the camera, that's a picture of me, taken by my parents specifically so I would have a picture of me to use as an icon for fannish spaces, but I wouldn't have to show my face to minimize the possibility of my fannish and legal names being connected. Anyway, my parents are awesome parents. There was a minimum of gender-related stuff in my house growing up. All three kids, me and my two brothers, learned to cook and regularly cooked meals. Both parents shared the cooking. All three of us kids shared equally in the cleaning and in the yardwork. Etc., etc. My school was on the I-5 corridor in Oregon. While there are a LOT more Conservative Republicans on the West Coast than most people realize, they don't tend to congregate along the I-5 corridor, and my school had a minimum of gender bullshit and discrimination against women. So did my college and seminary, and most of the places I've worked in my life have been either mostly women or extremely women-friendly. And, as an aromantic asexual, I haven't really done much dating, and the three boyfriends I had when I was just figuring I was a "late bloomer" were genuinely nice guys, and not Nice GuysTM. So while I know what most women go through at least at SOME point in their lives, and I've been exposed to as much media sexist BS as anyone, I have lived a life about as sheltered from sexism as any woman in the late 20th-early 21st century can. If we're measuring womanhood with "have you faced enough sexism to really UNDERSTAND what we're up against," then I DON'T COUNT AS A WOMAN, EITHER. And, like I said, TERFs are the ones trying to police who counts as REALLY LGBT (not queer, never queer!) so they'd have a problem with me on that axis, too.
And if it really is the kind of horrible sexism you face that determines who is a “woman” and who isn’t ... dude. DUDE. I got news for you! Sexism manifests in different ways in different places! Race impacts it! So does class! So does religion! So does a TON of other things. So a black woman’s experience of sexism is NOT the same as mine, and an Asian woman’s experience of sexism is different than either of ours. It’s a really broad brush. The only way you can say, categorically, that aaaaaaalllllllll the varieties of gender discrimination and trauma faced by assigned-female-at-birth people unites us as women but exclude assigned-male-at-birth-but-trans doesn’t is if you reduce us to our genitalia. To all the TERFs out there: NO. YOU DO NOT GET TO TELL ME WHETHER OR NOT I'M A WOMAN, AND YOU DON'T GET TO TELL JOY LADIN OR ANY OTHER TRANSPERSON WHETHER OR NOT THEY'RE WOMEN, EITHER.
