turns out that an Etsy search for "erhu" yields many results which are not in fact anything like an erhu!
#did find a luthier who does made-to-order pochette violins for $150 though...really good reviews too...#a sock speaks#the pochette violin would be a better purchase bc I could just play it. idk if I could/should try learning erhu on my own#but also: when am I ever going to have access to erhu lessons.
