saw someone on twitter telling people that they don't care about victims when it comes to fictional fandom stuff they enjoy and i gotta be real with you guys.... As an Honorary Victim who also got caught up in that level of discourse once upon a time, I could not care less about what people make barbies do in their spare time. And it is amazing what it does for the mental health. Like I don't care at all. It doesn't matter to me. I'm in my 20s with so many other problems in life to care about. I'm already exhausted. It might be common decency to make an effort, but it's actually not someone else's job to care about my personal woes and triggers and it's not my job to interview them on theirs. “Please.” Abby begged, doing her signature puppy eyes.

“Fine” he sighs, and you and Abby exchanged a hearty high five. “But only if you come with us as well, Y/N.”

The happy trio then found itself impatiently sitting in the car, while the radio was silently playing Talking in your sleep.

That post ended up on my "for you" and I'm glad it did. I wrote a reply in that post but I was typing too quickly and it was a mess. So I deleted it and decided to write a message instead.

I have to say that I agree with your post 100% and it's quite sad that your opinion is "problematic" in ace community.

Can aces have sex? Yes. Some say they do it solely to please their partners, which sounds very RAPEY. It's interesting how little we hear about the allosexual individuals, who might masturbate instead of having sex with their asexual partners.

Nowadays, it seems like everyone is obsessed with labels and twisting words to fit their own narrative. I'm not against labels, just use labels that fit you. A lot of times I feel like allos just use asexual label so they can preach how they love sex & they can show aces that they can love sex too like every other "normal" person.

Sometimes when I see someone talking how they never want sex or that they are sex repulsed there always have to be some "ace" that screams BUT DON'T FORGET ACES LOVE SEX TOO! WE LOVE KINK! WE LOVE FUCKING!!!

It feels like you're being erased, but erased by someone who's not even asexual.

I come to ace tags a lot, because I would like to follow some people, (also I come to the tags a lot so I can block bots that started spamming the tags) but it's always the same story. I see people who say they are ace but they also say things that show me that they are pretty much allos. It's sad because these people made me avoid ace spaces... because it really feels like 60% of them are allos who just use ace label. 30% are aces who don't want to be rude and they're like "all are welcome, all can use ace label!!! No one can tell you that you're not ace" and then 10% people just don't say a word because they don't want drama.

This is why people won't take us seriously because a lot of people who don't know much about asexuality hear just "I'm ace but I still love and enjoy sex!. And this is why some people think being celibate and being asexual is the same thing.

thank you so much for sending this message, i'm really glad that my post resonated with you. and i agree with everything you said. it's awful that the asexual label/community has been overtaken by this narrative that aces can have sex even tho it's just false. it's actually pretty scary bc, like you said, it sounds so rapey. you rarely hear ppl adovacting for allos to have sex just to please their partner or for allos to have sex with ppl they aren't attracted to bc everyone recognizes how disgusting that is, but for some reason, ppl think it's normal and okay to do this to ace ppl.

i hate being one of those ppl who tries to tell others what their identity is but i truly do feel like ppl who claim that their ace but still want/enjoy sex aren't actually ace, they're allosexual who decided to call themself ace for some reason. asexual ppl do not experience sexual attraction so they would not be seeking out sex with ppl nor would they enjoy it. if someone claims they enjoy sex despite being ace, i feel like there's a good chance that they're not actually ace.

i've also seen the argument that "asexuality is a spectrum" for why aces can have sex but i'm gonna be honest, it seems more like it's allosexuality that is the spectrum; there's only one way to not experience sexual attraction (asexual) but there's many different ways to experience sexual attraction and there's nothing wrong with that but it doesn't mean you're asexual. if you experience sexual attraction, you're not asexual.

i've also seen ppl get harassed for saying that they're asexual which means they don't want to have sex and/or dislike sexual content and i've experienced that myself. i've made posts just talking about my own sexuality and have had multiple ppl who jumped in to try "correcting" me by telling me that aces can have sex, which again is false, and it just shows how creepy this attitude is bc why do ppl always feel the need to try forcing this mindset onto any actual asexual person they come across? it really feels like ppl are just trying to pressure ace ppl into forcing themselves to conform to allosexual society's standards.

anyways, i think you hit the nail right on the head, you're so right about everything. it seems that even the ace community has been overtaken by a compulsory sexuality and rape culture mindset and it's so sad. this is supposed to be a community for ppl to celebrate and bond over their identity and yet you have so many ppl either trying to coerce asexual ppl into having sex and/or ppl who aren't even asexual who are claiming the label and twisting it for their own weird narrative.

From this account on this app that was taking over the MJ Tag and spreading so much misinformation to the point where I had to block her (She was using quotes from Shmuley, hinting that he could have been a predator, and he turned on Michael a few years ago I believe) to MJGuilters on TikTok making Pedo jokes at any positive Michael videos. Of course, the MJFam makes them wish they never said anything, being bombarded with truth and facts, but it never seems to be enough. Yes, there will be people who are just not educated and they take in what you tell them, but some others just won’t and call you names about be a “Pedo Lover” and whatnot. I do hope that one day, everyone will see and know that truth, but with streaming services allegedly saying that “the world isn’t ready for a positive Michael Jackson film” (according to one of MJ’s past bodyguards who took part in a documentary) I don’t think we’ll see that day. It hurts sometimes and when it does, I just feel like giving up and leaving it so I don’t have to hear any negative comments or jokes, and that’s the dark side of being a moonwalker/soldier of love. Defending him can be exhausting when it’s falling on deaf ears, but I know it’s our job to be here fighting for him when he’s not here himself.

Like ppl would message either asking for evidence, asking me to explain a part of a legal case, some fan inquiries and whatnot but I was ALSO getting dozens of hate messages and harassment messages. My mutuals who are MJ fans can attest to it bc they witnessed how bad it was getting lol.

There was this one guilter troll in my inbox who would send like 50 or so anons DAILY for MONTHS straight harassing me about his cases. Of course, I fought back and we dished it out back and forth bc ain’t no way am I letting some dumb bitch slander my man lmao but the shit they would say was NUTS

Then my dad passed away so I had to step back from it bc I just couldn’t mentally handle it at the time. But idgaf I’m back lol and I’ll never stfu about defending MJ bc he’s innocent and idc what ANYONE says lol I will rip someone’s face off 😭 I had a whole reputation on here of being legit vicious 😭😭😭😭 my MJ followers would just send me posts to respond to cuz they knew I could shut a bitch up faster than them, it was so funny 🤣 ppl were fuckin scared of me fr cuz I’d bust into their shit and hit ‘em with every possible document they would mention proving them wrong so eventually they stopped messin w me cuz they were legit scared of my crazy ass

It’s amateur, free content on the internet and shouldn’t be held to the same critical standards and practices as critiquing trad pub fiction. heeellooo!!! ^_^ thank u sm for ur compliments lovely xx means a LOTT! im gonna give u some advice based on my own personal experience on tumblr for the past 4 years (also had a previous writing acc with 4k+ a year or two back) :

start with setting up your writing blog! it’s important to let your future followers know what they’re getting into by following you and what your boundaries are. essentials to make: “blog rules page” — put your DNI (do not interact if…) section and BYF (before you follow) section in there | “request rules page” is also important if you want to take on requests from anons | “masterlist page” to put all your published work in one place | “about me page” if you want to tell people information about yourself.

for examples on how those pages can look, you can click on my profile & see how i did / set up my pages + take inspo!

it’s also partially important to have a easily navigable / aesthetically pleasing theme or layout. this will capture more attention of others. well, that’s speaking from my experience. something aesthetically pleasing to look at adds so much to the appeal !!!! i personally love it when writing blogs have a cool / cute / interesting theme bcs it catches my eye and makes me check out their works more.

after setting up your blog, you can start publishing a work of fiction. use the tags wisely and accordingly. jjk related fic example: ‘jjk x reader’ , ‘jjk smut’ (only if it is smut), ‘jjk fluff’ (only if its fluff), ‘gojo x reader’ etc etc etc ! you can follow what the writers you follow do with their posted fics. but make sure to tag properly. (p.s if you created a separate new acc, make sure that you give it a day or two bcs tumblr has to confirm that you aren’t a bot before your account is visible in tags)

keep in mind; gaining notes and followers can take days, weeks to months !!! please don’t get easily demotivated because your fic isn’t getting the notes you thought it would have. especiallyyyy at the start of your writing tumblr acc!!! i know how it feels, but i can reassure you that there will be people who will show up and appreciate your work one day!

interact with readers. interact with people who leave comments, show them that you appreciate the support they give you !! u can also make appreciation posts for ur readers and thank them for their support to let them know that it means a lot!!

interact with other writers!! reblog their fics, leave comments, pop up in their inbox with a small message — that’s how u mostly start making mutuals. mutuals will literally get u FARRRR on tumblr (ofc dont just use the other writers solely for the purpose to make ur fics get more notes . . . people easily get blocked by many if they do, they would by me too). but im sure many writers on here dont mind to spread your fics without you directly having to ask for it. if u just interact and make friends, that will follow automatically!

write what you want, when you want. getting ideas for fics can take some time, but when you do have an idea, write it down somewhere. you dont have to instantly write the entire fic — take ur time!!!!! don’t feel pressured to constantly post fics, i’m sure your audience understands that you have a life outside of tumblr.

but! posting constantly at the start of your tumblr acc can take u far as well. if u constantly appear in tags, ppl will get curious abt ur account. but don’t feel pressured to bcs it can easily burn u out !! just a little thing that i did at the start of my acc

hey im just trying to make sure the community is aware but moonluvbugz (prev femmesunbeam, stemmefawn, earthfairyfemme) just admitted to being the same person as sweethartfemme prev (lesbunnyfemme, puppycatfemme, batdollyfemme) idk if u know or remember them but they were outed as a serial cat fish race faker and just overall really predatory behavior and was doing things like using minors/a 14 year old girl's photos on their nsfw account and claiming to be her after the girl whos photos they were stealing asked them to stop so many times. they also impersonated @toothfairyfemme for several months and pretended to have the same legal name as her and gaslit her + all their followers into bullying lottie/toothfairyfemme for rightfully being upset about it. if you need any proof for this you can search "sweethartfemme" and theres tons of posts and also @mrpibbleswildride @toothfairyfemme and @ursaius all have tons of posts about it. they said all this bs about how they wanted to learn from their actions and get better and how everyone needed to stop bring this up so they could improve but then they immediately went and set up a new account and pretended to be someone new + denied any allegations they were sweethartfemme and even bullied people for rightfully trying to call them out. they lied again and victimized themself like they always do. and now they admitted that they are sweethartfemme but that everyone needs to stop talking about these allegations so that they can prove theyre a better person despite them liteally lying and gaslighting again and causing more harm to people. theyre a serious danger to this community and to butches in particular and i would block them if you can because they change their username every week and it gets really hard to track. their side account is also sweetfawnfemme if you want to block that too. please stay safe i just want to make sure you were aware bc ive seen them interact with your posts before
