JEAN
Jean is the K I N G of slow strokes nation
That man is hung like a horse; his cock touches the top parts of his thigh when it’s soft! He knows the nuclear weapon he carries around in his pants is deadly and he would hate to have such a gift and hardly be able to use it because he knows how hard a dick like his is to take. Slow and steady wins the race. The last thing he wants to do is hurt you by giving you too much of him at once or accidentally hitting your cervix, so he takes his time with you.
Foreplay is a MUST for him to get you prepared to take him. His favorite way to rev you up is with oral. He’s one of those men that thoroughly enjoy giving head for their own pleasure, watching you squirm and desperately rut into his mouth for more when his tongue is already as flat as it can be against your clit and his chin is dripping with your juices has him wanting to stay between your legs for hours. Did I mention that on top of attacking your clit like it's a Baby Bottle Pop he’s fingering you with those long slender fingers of his to the knuckles so you’re stretched enough to take him? Yeah, he’s a menace.
He prefers to have you on the edge of the bed with a pillow underneath your stomach. That way he has easier access to you and doesn’t have to worry about getting in weird positions to make the position doable.
The very first time you had sex with him you orgasmed off that one stroke alone, but you would like to think that you’ve built up a better tolerance now (barely).
That first stroke is deadly and leaves you gasping for air the way his cock slides into your walls with ease thanks to the gathered slick and spit between your legs doing its part as a makeshift lube. He pauses momentarily to give you a few seconds to adjust and, truth be told, he’s equally as breathless as you, but as soon as he feels your body relax he surprises you by bottoming out in you. I told you, he’s a menace.
His strokes are slow and calculated so you can feel every inch of his throbbing cock against your tight fleshy walls and he can hit every sensitive angle inside of you. Sometimes when he wants to spruce it up he’ll move his hips in circular motions for added stimulation.
“You take me so well, my love. This cock was made for you and only you wasn’t it?” “Look at your pussy swallowing me up whole, you take my cock so well babygirl, fuck.”
Dirty talk is top tier and he makes sure to press his chest against your back so he can whisper it intimately in your ear. Also, he’s a back licker through and true. Do with that information what you will!
CONNIE
The cockiest man in the world when he’s giving you backshots, like unbelievably cocky because he knows what his dick does to you, but he really knows what it does to you in doggy style. Thick, beefy, and uncut all up in yo guts !
His favorite doggy style position to have you in is on the edge of the bed so he can use the leverage of standing up to pound into you like a madman.
Taunting giggles and snickers the whole time, he watches you fight for your life gripping and biting on the sheets because you’re in a position where you have no choice but to take all of his beefy cock. He even likes to go no hands sometimes, placing them on the back of his head and letting the sheer power of his hips fuck you to borderline insanity.
“That's it, be a good girl and take all of me. You just love having my thick cock pound away at your walls, dont you?” “Aht, aht, you can take it. I know you can you’ve done it plenty of times before.” With a menacing smirk on his lips and all. Like, sir, this is how you cause crazy ex-girlfriends. You’re ready to go to war over that dick now!
Dont let his cool, calm, collected, and cocky demeanor fool you because the moment your walls get to ushing and gushing around him too well he has to put his hands around your neck as leverage to keep himself from buckling in the knees.
On nights when he’s feeling extra freaky (which is every night) he likes to put his thumb in your butt for added sensory. Sometimes he can even feel the tip of his dick through the soft membrane when he has his thumb in there and that lets him know he’s doing a job well done.
ARMIN
You on your stomach with your legs crossed and Armin mounted on your ass pounding into your poor overstimulated cunt is his favorite way to give you some lethal backshots. This position allows the two of you to be deeply connected, he can’t help but rut into you like a dog in heat.
You swear you can feel his cock tickle your belly button in this position and he swears he can feel your walls suck him in deeper and resist to let him go when he tries to pull out.
Its so overstimulating for the two; He often finds himself collapsing on on your back and burying his face into your neck while whimpering and moaning about how good you’re making him feel.
“Thank you so much for being mines and letting me fuck you 🥹” “You feel so so so good around me. You’re going to milk my cock dry, go ahead its all yours.” This man is on the verge of pleasure tears because of how warm and soft your pussy feels around him.
Has perfected the craft of kissing your next while he’s balls deep inside of you. He kisses your neck with the same energy he would use if he was kissing your lips, tongue and suction going crazy on that sensitive part between your ear and neck. Best believe by the end of the night you’re covered in hickies.
And the best part? When he finishes either he’ll pull out and leave squirts of warm cum on your ass or creampie you so he can watch it ooze and drip from between clenched thighs.

I made those modern Jack and Fitzy headcanons over a year and a half ago. I started writing a modern!AU fic since then so I developed the headcanons more and I wanted to share some of them. Keep in mind this may be a little different than what I present in the actual fic. I’m making some shit up on the spot.
So picture this: The young Jack Sparrow books taking place today and all the characters are in high school in Tampa, Florida, and the school is called...
Barnacle High School
Jack the “I was at the door when the bell rang” Sparrow:
He’s one of The Boyz🥶🥵😎 But like the stupid kind who thinks they’re better than everyone else.
He’s a troublemaker and creates a lot of mischief around campus.
Mischief includes but not limited to: pulling the fire alarm multiple times, drilling holes between the boys and girls gym locker rooms, defaced a bunch of textbooks with The Boyz drawing dicks on every single page, one time he snuck into the office and played pr0n on the schoolwide intercom speaker, a time he gave everyone “shits and giggles” (laxative and weed) brownies at a school dance and caused everyone to shit and puke all over the gym floor and it made the news,..... How tf isn’t he expelled?
Unsurprisingly he gets in fights. The fights are half of the time started by other students, but gets in trouble anyway.
Constantly interrupts the teachers to the point where they write him up or kick him out.
Sometimes fucks with the quiet kids like “Hey, mate, do you know what we’re doing?” “Can you like teach it to me?” “You can do it for me, right?” “Why don’t you ever talk, mate?”
He’s actually pretty smart but the teachers don’t like him and home sucks so he gave up.
Probably has ADHD.
Wears layers, like leather, denim, flannels, t-shirts, hoodies, jeans of various “tightness”, studded belts, many pairs of combat boots or knockoff timbs. Half his shit is from Goodwill.
Undercuts for dayyyzzzz. Think Coming Storm cut but the bottom is shaved off.
Still wears his nasty ass bandana even though the teachers always tells him he can’t wear it in class.
His makeup literally always slaps.
He likes to collect random things and sometimes puts them on his clothes or his backpack or in his locker.
Obsessed with dead things (furs, pelts, bones, stuffed animals, etc)
Has a fascination with the sea and likes the nautical aesthetic.
Bonus: Yeah he totally vapes.
Arabella the “Shut up and let me work” Smith:
She’s the “good kid” and sometimes the “quiet kid.” Jack definitely fucks with her in class sometimes until she pops off and they both get written up.
She’s an honors student and exceeds well in her classes.
She’d rather blend in with the crowd and not many students really notice her. She keeps herself contained in a small group of friends.
If she’s not with her friends, she’s probably in the library.
She’s really into Art and History.
Kind of a conspiracy nut and likes reading into urban legends and stuff.
Infodumps about her interests to Jack and he gets hella annoyed.
Jack sometimes follows her around and she gets hella annoyed but she gets sad when he’s not around.
Mediates between Jack and Fitz.
Jack and Fitzy fight over her. Jean has shown a little interest in her too.
She ate the “giggles” from Jack’s brownies. She got so fucked up she had a panic attack and left the dance really early before all the chaos began in the gym.
Kinda looks like she hasn’t really left 2015...like basic white girl with knit sweaters and cardigans, t-shirts and tanks, leggings, boots or sandals, etc. Sometimes also wears hoodies and jeans.
Headbands and beanies and cottagecore-like bandanas.
Yeah her makeup slaps too.
She works for her father after school at the Tortuga Tavern, formerly named Faithful Bride before it was forced to change to something more “PC.”
Fitzwilliam the “My uncle is the principal” Dalton (the third):
Basic snobby rich kid.
President of every “snobby kid club”; the Chess Club, the Key Club, the Student Council, and Yearbook.
Also an athlete and is in the school’s track team and soccer team.
Is in a clique with his equally snobby friends.
Yeah but he’s like hella proper.
He’s well educated and knows several different languages.
Hella ignorant about certain shit tho.
Big fuckin FLEXER with his expensive name-brand clothing and tech.
Lies about being friends with celebrities and online influencers and shit.
Ate one of the “shits” brownies....Just leaving that to the imagination until I make a one-shot.
Drippin’ Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, Coach, etc... Literally like full fucking tracksuits, knit sweater over button-up combo, fancy coats, name-brand t-shirts, jeans over hundreds to thousands of $$$, shoes costing almost as much as rent.
The pocketwatch from the books is a fancy golden $30,000 Rolex wristwatch.
Jack keeps taking his watch.
Wears his hair up in a manbun like it’s still 2015 and Jack keeps teasing him about it.
Yeah got like a brand new iPhone and and iPad and a really expensive laptop and an iWatch even though I already got a regular watch on my other wrist.
Jean the “I swear to god she’s like my sister” Magliore:
Y’all know it, he’s in the Anime Club.
Jean and Tumen are best friends, and in my story, foster brothers.
Likes video games and always has his Nintendo Switch with him.
Internet memelord and low key has “band kid” energy.
Always be sending Tumen or the “Barnacle Crew” group chat memes.
Being from New Orleans is a personality trait and is very enthused with his Creole roots and loves creole dishes.
He runs a foodie Instagram account with a large following. Self proclaimed foodfluencer.
Sometimes sells candy and chips at school. Gets in trouble for it.
Yeah he ate multiple brownies at the dance....
Jean has a cat Constance, named after his deceased sister, he brings to school hidden in his backpack.
Constance will literally eat just about everything, mimics human noises, and her expressions are very human-like according to Jean. Her traits are so much like his sister, Jean believes she is his sister born as a cat in a new life.
He made Constance her own Instagram account.
Jack HATES Constance. Constance LOVES Jack.
Hoodies, jeans, headphones, beanies.
His hair is the same but a bit shorter.
“Suspiciously quiet kid” Tumen:
The quiet kid sitting in the back of the class and drawing while listening to music.
He is also in the Anime Club with Jean.
Since Jean is into video games, Tumen is a weeb.
Jean is the only person he really hangs out with at school.
Tumen doesn’t have a phone in my fanfic but for the purpose of this headcanon and the group chat, he does have one.
He’s more of a “lurker” in the GC.
Jean’s #1 meme reactor.
He watches anime crack videos.
Tumen is the most “immature” than the others since he’s the youngest.
The only one who didn’t eat the brownies. Got interviewed on the news.
He takes pride in his Mayan heritage.
Has a random interest in geography and wants a career as a cartographer.
Anime t-shirts and hoodies galore.
Always has his hood up in class.
Teachers always telling him to put his hood down.
Tim “the newbie” Hawk:
He eventually transfers to Barnacle High.
I don’t have a full headcanon written for him yet.
Principal Lawrence Norrington:
Principal of Barnacle High.
Fitzwilliam’s uncle.
HATES Jack Sparrow.... Again how tf is Jack not expelled?
Brings his kid James to work sometimes even though the kid should be at school himself.
Jack sitting in the principal’s office in trouble again and James keeps bugging him. “Do you play Fortnite?” “No. Beat it, kid.”
Tia Dalma:
The school nurse.
Jack is buddies with her and he goes to her and pretends to be sick when he wants to ditch class.
Has crab parts in jars in the cabinets. No one questions it.
Joshamee Gibbs:
The janitor.
He’s in the Navy but he’s on off-duty employment.
Jack is buddies with him too.
He writes Jack fake doctors notes or signs permission slips or covers for Jack when he’s ditching, in exchange for booze Jack has at home.
He had to clean up the gym after the brownies incident ☹️
I don’t know how to write Davy Jones into this.
For the sake of this headcanon, it would be funny if Torrents was like a science teacher or something. Or if Madame Minuet was like an economics or math teacher. Or if Silverback is an English teacher. Or if Left-Foot Louis is a PE teacher and he’s all running in circles because he’s got two left feet lol.
Btw all these teachers HATE Jack 😂

Y’all ready for my shitty opinion on the Introduction Kingdom performances that literally no one asked for?
I preface this by saying I love every single group equally and each of these groups (with the sad exception of iKON) I am a hard core fan of. But I also love practicing thinking subjectively and I pride myself on not being too biased when it comes to performances and Kpop, like I know how to understand sometimes my ult might not be the best vocally or whatnot. I like being unbiased with this. So without further ado.
This is not based on scores already known, just my own thoughts.
(And also like these ranking do not reflect my love for a group or if I think they are untalented because all these groups are so massively talented. but rankings have to happen right?  Like someones gotta be last but i don’t love them any less lol)
6. Stray Kids (and this hurts as a Stray Kids Ult)
A group that I think really hurt with forced to having to perform the song that they did. (Their only other option was Back Door or levanter but it doesn’t really hit the same as Miroh so I understand why they chose it). The song is still my favorite title track by them (Also Im such a hoe for center Minho like....), but it’s SUCH a hard song to perform live. I remember all the issues they had during the era and still saw a lot of that here, more specifically with the insane rap parts. Its just not something easily done live (I say this like I know how to rap) but it doesn’t take a lot to realize that Changbin’s rap is so insanely fast (which props to him) that it can still be difficult for him. Also I think the backtrack of the song really hindered the performance. It was just too loud. Like you know those performances when you can really tell a group has some relying on the backtrack and others don’t? I have nothing wrong with lip synching, honestly, I could care less by it because I understand they are doing so much movement on stage that I couldn’t understand how to do both. But it takes away from the performance when you hear the difference in members performing live and those who are relying a bit more on it. Stray Kids are AMAZING performers and CAN sing/rap live. It was very cool though I guess with props but it was like they were trying to distract people from the lack of performance. I just think that having to perform Miroh (I know they didn’t get to pick really) was their downfall to me. But the outfits were cool! Regardless, they are still #1 in my heart and I look forward to the other performances!!!  But with more Seungmin!!!!!
6. ATEEZ
Next to The Boyz, I am most excited about seeing ATEEZ on Kingdom. One because Korea seriously needs to stop sleeping on them, but two because they are such intense and talented performers.  True to form they came in crashing! Unfortunately, the only reason they are so low is that there wasn’t anything that really made them stand out from the others to me. I do appreciate the classic ATEEZ intensity (but like also Hongjoong please don’t be all serious and death stare while suddenly saying Hakuna Matata, I couldn’t take it seriously). But the VOCALS win most intense which sells towards their performance. I appreciated Ateez so much for their intense singing (looking at you Seonghwa and Jongho). I do think that having to perform Wave didn’t really help them. (From my understanding is that MNET told them they had to perform a song that placed #1 which for them was only Wave, or Inception  which they already performed at MAMAs (we did Wonderland so dirty)) Not that I hate Wave (its actually my favorite title track by them) and I did enjoy the composition of this new darker Wave, but could you imagine if they had come in swinging with Pirate King or Wonderland? Hell fucking yes. Regardless, looking forward to see how they grow as the youngest group on there! I have nothing but high hopes for them!
4. SF9
Now You guys know how much I love SF9. They are practically an unofficial ult group for me. But this is not based off song because I actually can’t stand Good Guy (I overplayed it when it came out and now I hate it (not really but ya know) ) I remember people saying SF9′s performance wasn’t really memorable, but I didn’t see that. I saw an idol group coming out for the first time to prove something and actually shocking me with how intense they were. They really looked like Gang Members (handsome ones at that) ready to rule the world with their performance. Their looks and their dancing was great. I love SF9 and they haven’t had a lot of opportunities to showcase their talents like this so I look forward to how they shock the other group (also if they don’t do the wheel from K.O in a single performance I will riot) but all in all I think this was a solid performance by them! I laughed at the beginning with Inseong holding the crystal diamond because I couldn’t help but think back to tbz and the crown on rtk. I hope they also do story driven performances on here because I haven’t seen that from them before and I think it would be great!
3. BTOB
Can I just say I appreciate the fact that they are staying true to their vocal roots? So much Kpop these days is intense and in your face with everything, and I worried about a vocally driving group like BTOB being on this program because they’ve never been about the choreography (though I’ll be your man was lit) but just like how everyone reacted, BTOB focusing on their vocals rather than dance was such a breath of fresh air in this round. They really are vocal kings in KPop and the chills that some of those idols felt were so important. Like Wooyoung said after their performance “Vocals are so powerful” (or something like that) and I sometimes feel that people forget that. Intense dancing is great and all, but to wow people with just your voice like they did is a feat not every group can do. The  acapella was such a nice tough too. Beautiful Pain is such a beautiful song (ha) and the remix they did for it was just so nice. My only complaint is that we didn’t get enough Minhyuk vocals :(((((
2. The Boyz
Aight, people might accuse me of being biased based on how whipped I was for The Boyz back during RTK, but I’m really not. Like the other groups agreed on, you can tell The Boyz were on RTK. You can tell they have been through a program like this and they came in swinging. They have a lot of pressure on them after the wonderful performances on RTK and I think the opening performance they did didn’t disappoint. They are such good storytellers when it comes to performances (something Ateez is also really good at as well). They just get you immersed in their performances and thats something unique to certain groups. They were just meant to perform. Regardless of scores, The Boyz are proving to be fierce competitor from the get go and not to name names, but Sunwoo is such an amazing rapper live like holy shit. He needs more credit. RTK was amazing for them and I am sure Kingdom will be just that as well!
1. iKON
God I hope Kingdom will turn me from a casual fan to a hardcore ikonic. What I loved about iKON’s performance is a lot like BTOB’s or even SF9′s. There was a sense of branding, like this style was their’s and theirs alone. Also their performance brought so many smiling and happy faces to the crowd. A lot of younger groups look up to iKON and you even heard how many idols there and evaluations to their songs or what not. They just had so much fun on stage and that reflected on the audience who in turn also had a blast. I wasn’t sure how I would feel watching them since out of all the groups I’m least attached to iKON, but just with that causal, fun, but intense performance of rytham-ta one could easily see them as Kings already.  I didn’t notice any thing out of place because I was just enjoying the performance completely. And to me, thats the most important part of a performance.
Again, these were just my opinions on this introduction stage. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the performances. Your rankings, and who you look forward to see more from! We will have a fun time with Kingdom on my blog! <3 :3
I look forward to future rounds and what other groups have to offer!

How Reylo and Darklina are opposites, an essay. (Spoilers for shadow and Bone)
No one asked for this I know, but like all of you I'm a hoe for the villain/hero trope, so here we are. Let me start by saying I haven't read the shadow and Bone books so my take on alina and the darkling's relationship is by what's portrayed on the show, and oh boy.
A brief summary of what I'm about to analyse, reylo is precious and deep, darklina is toxic. Now the question is how can these two very seemingly similar love stories where the dark angsty hot villain falls for the sunshine incarnate heroine (her name is literally rey) can actually be quite opposite. For starters Ben and Alexander may be emo boyz with an unparalleled aesthetic but they aren't similar. Ben was manipulated since he was a child by Snoke and went through both physical and emotional abuse for years, he is alone and lost and full of self hate and pity, he wants to reach outwards to someone who can understand him but unlike Alexander (from what we've seen from him this far) he truly seeks that consolation and union on a deep level, even behind the jedi and sith I think Ben seeked that in Rey, while Alexander never went beyond the 'she is the sun summoner, she is my equal' phase. He didn't see Alina as anything beyond that. Now through Alexander's backstory we see he has suffered and that at some point he may had good intentions and actually cared about people, but in the present he has lost all sense of that and he only seeks to dominate and control, he isn't a wounded boy as his mother tells Alina, he is ancient and he has manipulated people for centuries. His whole charismatic persona is a lie. That is also a huge contrast to Ben's character, especially in the first movie in which he hides his face behind his mask. While Alexander uses his charm to his own gain. He manipulates Alina, feeds her his version of the story (again another opposite from Ben's story, in which he tells rey his own perspective of the events in the last jedi), gives her the gloves to 'help' her amplify her magic or better make her believe she is unable to do it by herself (while Ben offers to help rey move past what's blocking her,by telling her to acknowledge the truth of who her parents are, at least in the last jedi, who is the rise of the skywalker we don't know her) anyway the point is where Alexander lies (another example is giving her the flowers) Ben tries to liberate but in the end knows that's its her choice to make not his own. Again so many differences, in both of the characters needs, backstories and actions. Now let's get on the real tea. The amplifiers and Alina being tied on the boat, falling on his feet. Now that's when I was like no no, I see you Netflix, give me healthy friends to lovers.
So we clearly see that when Alexander's facade of this seductive dark Prince has fallen to who he truly is he becomes cruel, he has no one to impress anymore( while if you think about it Ben's story is quite the opposite, he starts as someone cruel and intimidating and then slowly opens up to a self sacrificing idiot ), he treats Alina like shit, basically chains her, controls her power and blackmails her in hopes that in fifty years she would realise how fit they are for each other, I mean sure jan. Ben on the other hand challenges Rey, wakes her up, never mobilizes or silences her power or needs. It's because he sees that only together they can both grow and heal while Alexander never considers alina as a person, never gives her space to make her own choices or let her reach out to him and help him with his own shadows.
So yeah that pretty much sums it up. I don't mean to send hate to any of the ships, you can ship whoever you want, it was just something interesting to me how two similar on the surface stories can be very different.

THE “I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE” COUPLE (ft. THIRD WHEEL SEONGHWA)
a/n: I don’t think I write good San imagines man. I’m sorry but I’m a sanhwa shipper. I just had to.
• here’s the thing about San.
• you love him to death— obviously.
• and would you do almost anything for him?
• absolutely.
• does he love you?
• I mean, he should.
• after all he is your BEST FRIEND.
• you get it?
• b e s t f r i e n d.
• and here you two go again.
• first Saturday of the month and San’s already getting picky about your date next Friday.
• “There’s absolutely no question. I am going on that date, Mark my words.”
• he glares at you from across the room, lips covered by the opening of his cup.
• Seonghwa looks from the center, glancing back and forth at the growing tension of you both.
• always being the third wheel of course.
• he doesn’t mind though.
• he kind of ships you two together anyway.
• “Um.... you know, the popcorn’s not going to cook itself.”
• you ignore Seonghwa for the mean time while you glare back at your other best friend, “San. Don’t look at me like that.”
• he shrugs. “I’m not looking at you like anything.”
• you deadpan. “Really?”
• “I already told you. You aren’t going on that date. Even if I have to handcuff you to my bed for the whole day.”
• you let out a guttural groan. “San! Seriously?!”
• Seonghwa secretly reaches for your cupcake on the table to which you grab his arm juggling between controlling him and controlling San.
• “You can’t be serious. Hongjoong?! You’re gonna go out with Kim Hongjoong?” San reiterates not confident in moving closer to you.
• your eyes narrow. “And what’s wrong with Hongjoong?”
• he thinks because it’s not him.
• it should be him
• each. time.
• but he can’t seem to break that stupid facade he puts up as your best friend.
• thinks that’s how you two should only ever see each other.
• it’s all he can take.
• “N-nothing. I just think there are better guys that you can go on a date with.”
• “Really.” you airily reply. “Who.”
• he glances over at the tall and quiet man in front of you who’s now face buried into your cupcake.
• “Seonghwa?”
• “Ew.”
• you roll your eyes at Seonghwa’s gruntled disapproval. “Why would I go on a date with Seonghwa? We’ve gone on plenty.”
• San’s teeth grit at your obvious obliviousness.
• “Y/n, if you want to go on this date. Then Seonghwa and I are chaperoning.”
• “We’re what?”
• “YOU’RE WHAT?!”
• It isn’t that Seonghwa detests it.
• it’s just...
• he can’t believe how long it’s taking San to admit his undying love for you.
• wondering how long it’ll take until the both of you can’t take it anymore.
• “San, this is out of line! I’ve never gone and secretly monitored YOUR good-for-nothing dates.”
• “That’s because you don’t care enough.”
• your head cocked to the side with softer eyes and a slouching posture.
• you knew San.
• you also knew that he loved your attention.
• loved it when you sounded angry when he went on dates.
• loved it whenever you were displeased by them—
• it gave him nice hope.
• albeit false but still nice to his breaking heart.
• “Fine. But no effort will be made.” you point a finger at your two best friends. “No effort to show Hongjoong you two idiots are following me. Promise?”
• “Promise.”
• San promises well.
• usually can keep a good promise.
• but by the looks of how much you smile, hold Hongjoong’s hand, laugh at his jokes,
• San’s about ready to combust.
• “Hyung, I can’t take it anymore.”
• Seonghwa bites into his burger sloppily while glancing across at a sunglassed San. “Hdkhmf.”
• “What?”
• “I said,” Seonghwa swallows. “Have some faith. Y/n’s gonna be dateless her entire life if you keep letting her live this way.”
• San huffs and sits back in jealously watching Hongjoong’s every move.
• hoping Hongjoong isn’t brave enough,
• not braver than he is to actually make a move.
• “What’s so bad about Hongjoong, anyway? He’s handsome, talented, wealthy, kind, parent approved, and above all likes y/n. Isn’t that the goal to your possessiveness?”
• San’s eyes frown with his smile and Seonghwa thinks it’s sad.
• Cause he loves the both of you and wants the best for you two.
• but it’s not his fault San can’t man up.
• Seonghwa glances at your pretty form before smiling to himself. “You know, lately, y/n hasn’t been happy. And maybe.. maybe it’s because of you.”
• San’s ready to combust at this point.
• knowing Seonghwa’s just trying to push his buttons enough.
• enough for him to confess.
• obviously wants you.
• but is too afraid of gettinv hurt.
• “Why would she ever love a guy like me when she could have a man like him?”
• San doesn’t know it either.
• how instead of laughing at Hongjoong’s jokes,
• you’re more laughing at the ridiculous disguises your two bestfriends wore.
• how dumb San looks sulking in front of a messy eater like Seonghwa.
• how you smile whenever you see San smile.
• how your eyes just naturally look for him.
• he doesn’t know you want it.
• you want him just as much as he wants you.
• but you’re too afraid of hurting him.
• him hurting you.
• “Hongjoong.. do you ever think that San will ever ask me out?”
• Hongjoong sips on his coke. “I sure hope so or I would’ve wasted my time yet again.”
• you laugh rolling your eyes at him. “I don’t think this whole jealous ploy is working. San’s just sitting there.”
• “Well,” Hongjoong playfully leans forward over the table making your eyebrows curved in curiosity. “That’s because you’re doing every boring thing you usually do on all your dates.”
• your face blushes when he moves his close lips hovering yours. “A-and what don’t I do, Joong?”
• “Kiss them?”
• your eyes slowly shut when the adjacent leans in right when a blow of air hits you instead of his lips.
• eyes open and jaw agape, you find your date lying across the restaurant floor covered in his sticky cola.
• and San’s heaving a storm.
• hands curled up in fists and body trembling.
• Seonghwa’s attempting to hold him back just as in horror as the entire room.
• “S-san!” Hongjoong automatically coughs up blood and you’re at his side. “Joong, you okay? Oh my god, I’m so sorry.”
• he throws his competitor a heavy glare before waving you off kindly. “It’s fine. I understand.”
• “San.” you fierce a dark stance towards the man who fights for you. Sometimes too hard. “What about no effort did you not understand?”
• “I can’t take this shit anymore. If I’m gonna storm out of here losing you, I’m not gonna leave without punching the man I lost you to right in the face.”
• your fingers lighten as you watch him leave,
• maybe taking the punch harder than Hongjoong did,
• and Seonghwa sighing defeatedly in front of you.
• “I can’t take this shit anymore.” he throws his hand up repeating after San. “If you don’t tell him something, nothing is gonna work out. You two together is better than you two apart. Obviously it’s killing our entire friendship and my god damn appetite. Now go fucking follow him or I won’t hesitate to punch you both in the face for ruining my lunch!”
• you spin on your heels before kissing Seonghwa on the cheek and Hongjoong too of course,
• running after the love of your life.
• you think he could probably kill someone from how he’s temperamentally stomping on the ground where he walks.
• people staring at him like he’s crazy.
• right before you grab him by the wrist and plant the kiss he interrupted earlier on his lips instead.
• he pulls back, horrified.
• now pouting at you like he’s on the verge of crying.
• “Don’t— don’t do that.”
• “San—“
• “Don’t!” he doesn’t care for the crowd that walks by as he announces his frustration. “Don’t act like you love me just because I can’t have you.”
• “What?”
• “I don’t know! I’m just saying what I’m thinking! I’m still trying to wrap my mind around the fact you just kissed me so go with it!”
• you giggle at the way he babbles.
• the way his lips fastly stutter and how his cheeks are redder than his ears.
• you take his sharp jawline in your palms before pressing a much more gentler kiss on his trembling lips.
• the way he melts against you saying enough.
• “I love you.” his tear falls on your cheek when he whispers. “I.. I’m sorry.”
• “Don’t be sorry, Sannie.”
• he curls his hand around your cheek and sighs between your pursed lips. “I thought that you don’t deserve me. That if I had you, it’ll make us worse. Make us break. How loving you past the line of best friends would hurt the both of us. But I can’t take it anymore. I can’t take loving you till only that much anymore.”
• he kisses you again and you’re weak at the knees. “I love you and Seonghwa so much. Regardless if I date someone else, or any of you for that matter, won’t hurt me. But it hurts you... I know it hurts you.”
• “But I love you so much it hurts.” he’s crying again. “I want to love you so much. That what I love you right now isn’t enough? I want to love you till I can’t think of doing anything else. I love Seonghwa hyung too but not as much as I love you.”
• “Pabo.” you tip toe kissing his salty tears away as he grips you tighter. “We promised to love each other equally.”
• “Don’t tell hyung.” softie San cries again. “Hyung’s gonna hate me.”
• “Seonghwa’s not gonna hate you for loving me a little more.” you retreat looking at him from far away. different now that you’ve kissed his lips for the first time. “Seonghwa doesn’t hate me for loving you more. Why would he hate you?”
• “You love me more than hyung?”
• “To an extent, yes.” you giggle kissing the blabbering lover boy again. “That baboon eats all my food. Do I have to remind you who spoils me between the both of you or do I need to ask you to kiss me again?”
• “K-kiss me again?”
• “Pabo.”
• his teeth grin against your smile and you can’t take it anymore.
• you need to take him home.
• “I love you.” he reminds you,
• thinking,
• thinking he’s gonna be reminding you for the rest of his life.

hiii can i get a personality ship with the boyz and bts? i was born in 2000 and i'm an infp. i love jewelry, art, and writing! i'm hard to approach sometimes bc i'm a very shy person and it takes me awhile to open up to people but i'm a completely different person when i do. i enjoy taking care of the people i love and being there when they need me!! i'm very affectionate but also rlly emotional/sensitive. i hate when ppl are mad at me and i cry at everything. i love bike rides and going to the beach! i love kids and animals. i hate horror movies, seafood, and tomatoes. i get scared/upset easily and i have a huge fear of bugs! thank u so much !!
Hi!! Thanks for requesting 🥰🥰🥰
In BTS,I ship you with....
(I was confused between Taehyung and Jungkook)
Taehyung
Tumblr media
I think you and Taehyung are like a match made in heaven.
He would absolutely understand you.
Like he himself is such a fashionista that he would live your art, jewellery. I am sure he would also love to read your writings.
Huhhh that part. You are hard to approach because you are actually shy= Kim Taehyung's ideal type. Like I literally read somewhere he said he likes girls who have cold appearance but soft shy personality.
Awe,you are such a cutie🥺 Taehyung would love to date someone like you. He is a mama's boy and he would love it if you take care of him as well❤️❤️🥰🥰
He would love to go on bike rides with you. Gosh you literally scream Taehyung's ideal type.
He would also love your affection for animals and kids and would find this very attractive about you.
You are shy,I think Taehyung's bold personality covers that up. This is what made me finally ship you with Taehyung, instead of Jungkook.
Taehyung and you would have a couple goals relationship and I definitely ship you two💞
In The Boyz,I ship you with....
Eric
Tumblr media
Very similar reasons to Taehyung so I might not describe much.
I think Eric would love your art, jewellery and all your hobbies. He understands your needs the best.
Eric is honestly so much what you need
Eric would love to take care of you as much you would take care of him.
This relationship would be very much based on equals. I personally love this relationship.
Eric and you would have a very good understanding.
Eric would baby you a lot as well
He would love to go on bike rides with you and even visit the beach.
He would cuddle with you a lot. Eric thinks you are the best thing that has ever happened to him and honestly he loves you a lot.
He would also love to read what you write in his free time and maybe even help you with it.
He understands your shy personality and just wants to kiss you. Uwu🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Hope you liked your ship. Take care💋💋💋

What are your takes and feelings about each Vampire and Eloise so far Pauly ? Sorry is someone asked this already :3
Oh I’ve never shared my opinions about ML in details before haven’t I?
I like Eloise! I find her hilarious and I like that she stands up for herself. Most of her reactions makes sense to me from what I can remember right now, the most annoying thing about her that I can think of is when she’s being jealous of another female character, because it doesn’t feel nice to play a character that’s insecure, but so far this is the only thing that bothers me about her character. And I actually like the way she’s dressed lolol wish they had kept her hair black though.
Vladimir was at the bottom of my ranking when the game was released... and he stayed there once I finished his route. I got sick of his mood swings by chapter 5 I think? He has his cute moments but him and Eloise are always arguing in his route. She is also always the one making efforts to make him come out of his shell, then 10 seconds later he’d become cold again.. it was just tiring. His neutral ending actually kind of redeemed him for me (not that I wanted him to die lol) because... I... like tragic characters I guess? I dunno, it kinda made me wanna go back to try and understand his character a bit more, at a moment where I was just sick of him. I wish they had focused on his depression more.
I wanted to drop Beliath’s route when I finished his first chapter. I was uncomfortable (I swear, who was it at Beemoov who decided the Crush would assault Eloise in the first chapter) and I had to spoil myself (which I hadn’t planned on doing when I started the game) up to chapter 3 to motivate myself to continue. And it was the BEST DECISION EVER. By the end of chapter 5, Beliath became my fav vampire. The Don Juan act can be off-putting in the beginning but I SWEAR it gets 100% better the more you progress into his route. His major default is that he’s a bit secretive but once his secret his revealed, it’s just... amazing. He’s so nice and playful, he’s respectful of Eloise and considers her as his equal. It’s the only route so far where the Crush acknowledges that the Chalice bond sucks (when on the other hand, Vladimir says that he “owns” Eloise up until chapter 9)... He’s just really good. I love him. And he’s also so nice when you’re not on his route. When Beliath says that he’s the best choice... maybe you should trust him.
When they revealed Ivan’s portrait back when the game was in development I thought he would be one of my fav... but when the game actually came out... well... let’s say that he wasn’t one. It’s not even because of the fact that he’s responsible for Eloise’s death... I don’t know, I guess the chemicals in my brain changed by the time the game came out lol. Anyway, he was kinda in the middle in my ranking, but he dropped hard once I started his route. He has his cute moments just like Vladimir, but he is... really bad-tempered. His relationship with Eloise is not healthy (they argue a lot too) and maybe it’ll get better but we’re already at chapter 6 and I don’t see any signs of the plot actually addressing the problems they had in the first chapters. I don’t like this weird dead lover trope they’re using for his route, Eloise is always either blaming herself or Constance for Ivan’s behavior and it’s just URGH girl, drop him and go get dicked down by Beliath already would you now. I’m actually enjoying his character more if I just ignore the romance parts (yeah, I’m invested in the Constance-Loic-Ivan drama, sue me).
I don’t really have much to say about Aaron right now. He’s in the middle in my ranking and I actually got more interested in his character after the game came out. He’s been nice so far and he can be really playful I think. I hope his bluntness will help us avoid spending entire chapters on secrets and stuff. Oh and I hope his route will give us lotssss of lore, considering Aaron is the oldest vampire in the manor.
Raphael is really nice and kind. Unfortunately, I have this very specific brain rot that makes me unable to like decent fictional men. Bottom of my ranking you go. It doesn’t mean that I’m not interested in his character though, I actually find it hilarious that he’ll gladly answer Eloise if she asks him about personal infos on the other vampires, but flatly refuse to say anything about himself if Eloise dares to ask. What are you so mysterious for, Jester boy. If ur kindness was genuine you wouldn’t be hiding things from me, Jester boy. Maybe if I bully him enough, I’ll love him by the time his route is released.
Ethan is an asshole. Unfortunately, I have this very specific brain rot that makes me like fictional bad boyz. It’s noticeable that he cares despite the layers and layers of snarks and I think that’s sweet. Now, I adore him in Beliath’s route, but I despise him in Ivan’s. I hate the way he’s behaving in it or the way he’s talking to Eloise, it just goes too far! In Bel’s route, he’s provocative but playful but in Ivan’s he’s straight up unsufferable. On another note, he’s also a character that will flatly refuse to say anything about himself if Eloise dares to ask so I can’t wait to learn more about his past.

kingdom episode 1
I kept holding off doing this because aksldjfk fans this time around are super intense and this doesn’t feel as fun and happy-go-lucky as road to kingdom was until we discovered their were eliminations LOL. and to think kingdom doesn’t even have eliminations... anyway I’ve been thinking about performances all week and can’t really get it out of my head, and want to (nicely) discuss with people (if they want).
because I did that on and off last time around and I had fun, so gonna take a risk and do it this time too and hope I didn’t just shoot myself in the foot and bring angry fans at me.
my rankings | opening round
the boyz there was so much they did so well on and I don’t know where to start? but first I must give a shoutout to my boy sunwoo being the only rapper that rapped live and didn’t make a mistake (I don’t even think he had a backtrack during his part but correct me if I’m wrong?). not to mention the fact that the entire arrangement for the performance was amazing. they were insanely synchronized in their choreography and musically and dance-wise they played with multiple different genres! the stealer came out sounding so good and the rearrangement of the song was so thorough and clean, and the transitions were clean as well. the game of thrones visual and lyrical references and imagery (how do they come up with this stuff??) and literally the floor part that represented the whitewalkers when the members slid in was my favorite!! they referenced rtk stages and groups which was a nice homage and emotional, and they also took the feedback from their rtk performances and there were no props or stunts (which I never saw the big deal over but whatever).
ikon mayhaps they’re in second for me simply because they seemed so confident and at ease? it says a lot to me when a performer can go up on stage and not seem nervous. they’re very crowd-oriented performers and you could see that during their performance... so I feel like to some, they may have taken that as being sloppy, but it’s just their style. ikon were there to have fun and the presence they had really just nailed that in, and made them stand out in that aspect for being different. I loved how they were all so smiley during their stage aklsjdf It was nice as an ikonic to see their smiles. I was also a huge fan of rhythm ta’s rearrangement here and the opening sequence.
stray kids my one major complaint out this performance: changbin being out of sync with his backtrack ruined that entire part for me. also the sparkler wasn’t necessary (although everyone’s reactions to said sparkler were quite funny). to be honest though, their vocals were all out of sync with the backtrack... changbin’s was just a killer moment... but besides that I felt they had a nice stable balance between their performance, stunts, choreography, and rearrangement. this is my favorite title song by them, and I liked the added knife effect (and the ending sequence from that knife effect). not to mention that next to tbz, they were the most synchronized with their choreography (hello even their jumps?! were in time?? crazy!!)
btob another group that just came in looking confident and at ease. btob knew that their strong suit was their vocals and that’s how they delivered. I loved the simplicity of their stage and how they were able to captivate with just their voices. I do feel that kingdom and rtk both are very performance-heavy so I’m not sure what cube was thinking sending btob in? so a bit of choreography would have been nice (personal opinion) and I can see how people are ranking them lower... but like I said: they knew what their strongest ability was and they focused on that. and visually, the stage was still gorgeous.
sf9 personally, this performance didn’t stand out to me too much (but it also didn’t have as many negative aspects as ateez’s in my opinion, so thus the ranking). it felt as though there was some wow-factor missing. there was nothing particularly different in an outstanding way of their choreography or rearrangement. I did like that there was an equal amount of singing-to-dancing ratio and how stable their vocals were, but they were a bit out of sync during certain portions.
ateez this kind of hurts to type alsjdfk because ateez are a top group for me but this was? a very messy performance? I’m not sure if it was the inexperience with the one-take camera or that mixed with everything else, but it was extremely difficult for me to follow their formations. everything seemed too fast and too choppy and just... all over the place. it was chaotic in a not-fun sort of way, and kind of felt just thrown together haphazardly. the rearrangement of their song was not my favorite, and overall they sounded very choppy due to the physical demands their performance required paired with the narrative and their singing. I know they’ve got amazing live vocals and performances (I have seen them live) but this didn’t do anything for me.
anyway that’s it for the first episode from me. we’ll find out rankings in just a couple of days... and then on to the first mission. I hope everyone remembers to be nice to each other because many of these groups are friends with each other (sunwoo, eric, jongho / changbin, wooyoung) or look up to each other (tbz/skz/atz/sf9 at ikon) and I know they’d hate to see everyone else throwing hate at each other and would hate even more to see some of the toxicity I’ve already witnessed 😬 just enjoy kingdom, and remember there aren’t any eliminations, and remember you can like other stages besides your faves and have fun with this show, that’s not illegal.

OC headcannons
Idk thought it would be fun to write some head cannons about some OCs
This one is pretty fun and fluffy I guess... might make a NSFW one if it’s wanted
Ava Kang
Tumblr media
We’ll start with basics then headcannon into each group lol (Skz and Ateez)
Avalyn Kang, 15/07/2000, ♋️, 🇦🇺
She prefers to wear pants and sand shoes
Actually she rathers being barefoot
She grew up on a farm
Loves animals
Can cross her eyes and curl her tongue
Did mixed martial arts
Speaks English, Chinese (Mand and Canto), Korean, German and bits of French and Japanese
Has an older, twin and younger brothers
Younger brother is from their step dad and he’s the sweetest boy you can’t tell her otherwise
She’s headstrong and will defend herself and others without hesitation
Doesn’t like to share her emotions unless she’s close with them
Doesn’t like calling anyone oppa
Stupid flexible
Highly inappropriate
Stray Kids
Closest to Bang Chan with Felix or Jisung following
As member of the Aussie line she is equally as chaotic
Likes to tease Chan
Joins Chans room the most
Has fallen asleep cuddled onto Chan both on and off vlive
Talks about cats with Minho
Feels protective over Seungmin and Jeongin even tho she’s just a few months older than Seungmin
Gets shipped with everyone but those two and Woojin but there is a stray fic here or there
Reads the fan fics she finds funny aloud to Chan and Felix
Beware she knows where the smut is and has seen them
Had a ‘good girl’ image for a fair amount of time but slowly gave that up in favour of fitting in comfortably with the boys- she hated it anyway
Shipped with Chan the most and all the edits are soft and cute until someone points out that she openly flirts with him now ... a lot of edits became them dancing on stage w/ strong chemistry I can feel it as I write
Cuddles with Jisung when both are feeling down, he usually lays on top of her or is the little spoon
Doesn’t like daddy kink and got really annoyed with the whole Bang Chan Daddy thing that was going on the other day or so- you have that kink go for it she just doesn’t like it
Hides her sanitary stuff because the boys are so awkward
Good ‘friends’ with Eric from The Boyz (as we know from Think of Me something is happening between them)
Ateez
Isn’t particularly close to anyone more than the other
Everyone thinks she has a thing for Yeosang
Had an incident where her shirt ripped on stage on tour and instead of hiding it straight up took off the shirt- the boys got really embarrassed by it
Gives zero shits
Doesn’t play into Woosans shenanigans
Jongho and her like to passive aggressively bitch about the older members
Hates using the term oppa so she never does- poor Seonghwa was so excited to get called oppa and she won’t say it
Introduced Yunho to her brothers first
Likes getting piggy backs by Yunho
Jongho likes to pick her up every once in a while either bridal carry, over the shoulder or just lifts her up
Even tho Mingi is older than her she treats him like a little brother
Mingi teases Ava for being so short
Hongjoong asks her for song ideas
He also really loves listening to her sing him to sleep on those hard days
Seonghwa likes her accompanying him to the shops for groceries and stuff as she makes it fun
Yunho has big feels for this girl she’s so weird and happy on the good days and his stomach fills with butterflies
Yeosang adores her, but because he’s a little shy he doesn’t really show it. They’ve openly flirted before and as soon as he realised it he shut off immediately- Ava found it adorable
She really likes the blond hair he has and has said she wants Yeosang to be more confident with his voice as she loves it
He won’t say this aloud but he likes hugging her and holding her hand
San likes hugging her from behind when standing, she’s small so his arms just wrap right around her
But he also likes laying his head on her lap and taking a nap
Wooyoung likes trying to prank her or startle her- which he recently stopped because he made her cry at one point but that was due to stress
She’s very private with them and doesn’t know how to tell the boys any of her personal things
Yeosang is the first she tells about her issues with her biological father while she’s upset with him
But she will force them to get her sanitary supplies
Friends with Stray Kids Han and Felix
Friends with NCT’s Renjun
If you have any questions for Ava or about Ava send them in you can ask for Ava + Specific group or just in general- just for fun lol
Edit- have delete Got7 + NCT/WayV notes as Ava is not for those groups

Bright Movie
Screaming ‘We’re broken people now’ for every minor inconvenience is now an inside joke btwn me and my friends
Will Smith talks to his unnamed wife about the fairy at their bird feeder for a solid five minutes. I clocked it. Nothing happens in that entire scene. It’s just two people standing at their counter talking about the fairy in their bird feeder.
Will Smith goes outside and it is like the director is interrupting his own movie to tell me about how much he loves Boyz n the Hood
WHY ARE HIS NEIGHBORS HAVING A COOKOUT AT 7AM!?
Almost everyone in this movie is either a cop or a hilarious throwback to depictions of gang violence in 90′s tv and cinema
At one point a character actually turns to Will Smith and says “Yeah, they’re gangbanging up at Altamira like it’s 1999.”
It was at that moment that I paused the movie to google the director and discovered he directed Training Day (2001)
Not surprising to learn in the middle of a movie  so dated I could have used it to do the dude’s horoscope
"I wish you weren’t a cop. Everybody hates cops.” Hey David Ayer this is a movie about fairies not Training Day 2. How about you spend a little more dialogue explaining why Will Smith’s daughter needs to go to Grandma’s house, anyway?
Five minute exchange between Will Smith and Jakoby about how orcs can smell basically anything, from lies to sexual frustration. It was at this point that I wondered who was shipping the two leads.
Worldbuilding in this movie is nothing but exposition and news clips, but there is one scene where they go into ‘Elf Town’ and we learn that all elves are rich, because..............................
All orcs are discriminated against because they sided with the Dark Lord 2,000 years ago. “Wait a minute,’ I said to myself. “Does this take place in Middle Earth?”
The movie continues without answering this question, or explaining how the Dark Lord differs from Sauron in any way
In fact, there is no evidence within the film the Dark Lord isn’t Sauron, which really makes me want to see the gritty urban reboot of Hobbiton
While we’re talking about Hobbiton, where is the rest of Middle earth in relation to Modern Day LA? And how did magic influence colonial expansionism?
Everybody hates Jakoby to the point of violence and wants Will Smith to distance himself from him to prove he’s one of the Guys. Will Smith plays a very good Racist Who Doesn’t Think of Himself as Racist
Will Smith stops the car in front of a full-on beating, turns to Jakoby, and asks him what comes first; the Police Department, or other Orcs. This is terrifying and watching Jakoby stutteringly swear his loyalty to the cops makes it worse.
The movie basically acts like this scene never happens again after this point. Will Smith sort of redeems himself by the end of this movie, but not by apologizing or recognizing his mistakes.
David Ayer is at my door, knocking, asking me if I liked Dirty Harry.
One of the best scenes in this movie is watching the LAPD talk down a man covered head to toe in mud, swinging a sword, and screaming bout prophecies. I feel like this is the kernal of idea that the whole movie sprung from, and if the rest of the film started there and built on it, it would have been AMAZING.
Unfortunately, it turned into one of the weaker parts of the movie. This character does one more mysterious thing before he is revealed as just another stock character from a cop drama, this one being the position of a low-level urban disturbance. David Ayer shows his inexperience with real people like this by not ever explaining what’s actually wrong with him. The character is part of some secret magic club that everyone talks about as being sssuuUUUuuper important, but we literally never see them again.
A shoot out happens.
Tikka the Elf is introduced. She wears overalls, does backflips and doesn’t speak English. David Ayer breaks into my house, hits the pause button, and tells me much he loved Milla Jonovich in the Fifth Element
Tikka can only move by backflipping or being physically carried from place to place
The audience is introduced to the Magic Mcguffin that will carry the plot from here on out. It seemed a little silly, but the non-powered casts’ response to it feels very authentic. Their response is exactly why stories like this persist.
Unfortunately, this scene is also used to show why the Mcguffin is so difficult to wield, and the ensuing chase scene instantly stops making sense
One member of the antagonist raiding party grabs the Mcguffin in order to bring it back to his employer and not only disintegrates, but takes out three people in his cohort as it’s happening.
The Mcguffin can barely be transported safely
In Repo Man (1984), the Mcguffin is equally powerful and equally dangerous, and part of the plot is that absolutely nobody wants it. I feel like this would have been a better story to use at the foundation then Training Day or Escape from New York, which the writing team seemed to be drawing from
There’s also a convenient excuse to keep the cast within an accessible range to the plot, otherwise they would catch a plane to Argentina or something
There’s an effort to make elves seem scary, as if making them scary is a deconstruction in and of itself. It’s like the past seven Tolkien movies didn’t establish that Elves are killing machines who are against genocide by the grace of God
Orcs threaten to kill them even though the text of the movie says they should be honorbound to protect them
A prophecy gets brought up again and the soundtrack acts like that’s a big deal, even though we have no idea what the prophecy is and we’ve been following boring gangland violence for over an hour
Chicken Tikka is sick, dying and speaks English
It’s a good thing she is, because the plot was at a complete standstill
David Ayer is watching the Fifth Element on my computer next to me while I try to focus on his film
So we go back to the house with the underdeveloped anti-magic cult/gang and Noomi Rapace is playing Chicken Tikka’s abusive ex-girlfriend even though the script identifies her as her sister. I have to wonder where the decision to sex up this interaction was, and why they didn’t just have them be ex-lovers since that’s clearly what everybody on set wanted.
Will Smith reveals himself as the only person in this film who can use the Mcguffin
Ok
At the end of the movie Jakoby is super excited about being a part of a prophecy that I still don’t know. I’ll never know.
Super long, awkward comedy scene in a hospital that doesn’t advance the plot and doesn’t feel natural
Where was the editor
Was there an editor
Oh god finally we’re at the end of the movie and complaining about the events of the movie being edited for public consumption, but as they’re falling quiet and accepting the doldrums of everyday life, they see Tikka in the crowd and the end credit music starts
IDK why that was shot as some kind of touching and poignant scene. We’ve known for thirty minutes now that she survived.
Usually in movies like this, as the protagonist is settling back into their everyday life, we see a glimpse of the wonders behind the veil to offer hope and excitement for future adventures
But this is a world without a masquerade, so there is no veil, and we know that magic is still alive and well in this world
In conclusion, this movie is great to get drunk to and scream at with your friends

8. What song would make a great fic (to either write or read)? - nobody come for me for this answer but absolutely 'love me more' by mitski. its really one of my favorite songs ever and it unlocks something in me every time i hear it
10. How do you decide what to write? - i have a list of oneshot ideas and then i just start throwing darts when i finish my current project
11. Are you partial to a certain character/pairing or are you more equal-opportunity? If you are partial to any character/pairing, why do you think that is? - single characters: hunter obviously. but also caleb. pairings: hunter and willow. usually platonically sometimes romantically. i just really like that bad but sad boy. and then theres also something to be said about caleb and camilla with them both being from lives that they hated so very much and being able to become what the other needed but camilla is my oc so this doesnt count
12. Are there any tropes you used to dislike but have grown on you? - thats a tough question. the closest i have to disliking a trope is enemies to lovers and im still not like. the biggest fan of it but i dont hate it? ive always been neutral i guess. generally if i dont like something i dont usually change my mind on it
14. Are there any tropes you would only read if written by a trusted friend or writer? - soulmates next question
15. What’s your favorite AU that you’ve written? - i dont know if this is cheating bc it isnt finished yet but the coven head au. the dynamics are going to be a ton of fun. you guys are gonna love it. but from the fics i have written? thats the spirit absolutely. it was really fun to get to mess with philip in a totally toothless and mundane environment
21. If you wrote a “missing scene” in [insert fic], what would it be? - come closer: more manny dialogue. pumpkin boyz: thats tough. maybe a reaction from an adult? something along the lines of 'youre so responsible caleb' or 'get that wretched thing out of this town.' halloween is scary: more philip being suspicious of caleb. this was hard to answer because these are all really short self contained fics
25. What other websites or resources do you use most often when you write? - wikipedia my beloved frfr <3 other than that the owl house wikia has saved my ass countless times when it comes to referencing transcripts
26. Would you rather write a fic that had no dialogue or one that was only dialogue? - god this is so difficult because i use to write for the stage. but im gonna have to say no dialogue. i love my sensory details
28. Does anyone read your fics before you post them? If so, who? - YES @/blackyote peeps most of my non request fics early and @/acergi is being an absolute angel and reading all of these shitty vwhatever drafts of the coven head outline as they come out of my brain
29. What songs would be (or are) on a playlist for [insert fic]? Explain your choices if you want! - i dont listen to mood music when i write requests. i literally watch bondi rescue on my second monitor for background noise
49. What are you currently working on? Share a few lines if you’re up for it! - i have a finished fic sitting in the corner waiting for upload. woe. coven head pilot fic be upon ye. (ive been outlining lately. not much to share there.)
Hunter fought the urge to let his shoulders drop. “Eight hours, Head Witch,” he informed her.

GF Fandom Meme!
So I’m trying to make myself stop thinking so much about DACA/college/internships/[insert-latest-and-most-significant-source-of-stress] so here is my first meme response in forever!  Tagged by @ancientouroboros and possibly others (I... have been dormant for a while.)
This is gonna be kind of long
Answer the questions and tag 10 followers/mutuals
When did you get into Gravity Falls?  September 7, 2015, just before the Last Mabelcorn came out.  I remember very exactly because I left a comment on @haberdashing‘s fic that would foreshadow the next two years of my life.  “Not into GF,” I said.  “But these two characters, uh, ‘Stan and Ford’ seem like an interesting dynamic,” I said.
:-)
(Which... also means that I have been in this fandom for a whole two years in about two days.  It’s weird thinking about how much things have changed, how many Big Blogs had entered and left this community.  AUs were a big thing, each with their own Snazzy Cool Name (tm)!  Billford Taylor Swift AMVs were hugely popular and got reblogged by storyboard artists!  A lot of people absolutely hated Ford!  There were 5001 different edgy predictions for the finale!)
I had dipped in and out before then in 2014, back in the pre-NWHS days when Billdip absolutely ruled the fandom (I mean, it’s still hugely popular, but there is a lot more content now for... well, everything else), mostly because I was hooked on @marypsue‘s Transcendence AU fics.  Some things never change.
What got you hooked on it?  Honestly, for the most part, I don’t have the attention span or auditory processing power to watch shows.  I had been seeing GF content on my dash for a while, vaguely processed that some huge mystery had just been solved for the show, dipped my feet back into AO3 waters, found a certain fic in which monster Stan has to convince his brother of his humanity while grappling with Major Identity Issues himself, and what can I say, consistency is key.
The first episode I ended up watching was the Last Mabelcorn, and with the Bill-Ford revelations and 34894 fan theories about how Stan was going to get possessed (there were so many freak-outs over how the Stan’s eyes end-piece just kept not getting revealed) I knew I was here to stay.
Do you write, make art, or create content for the fandom or just enjoy being a part of it but haven’t made anything yet?  Write fic, made one theory post that blew up, draw the same 3/4 angle POV character face 2394320 times.  Y’know.
Who’s your favorite character? STAN STAN STAN THE MAN
Most underrated character on the show?  The Shapeshifter was such a cool villain, and I wish more depth was given to him.  Sentient alien shapeshifter with innate megalomaniac tendencies, hatched and raised by Ford Pines?  I wish he came face to face with Ford or Fiddleford again in the series, or had a role that was less outright evil/villainous.  The Pines family isn’t exactly the most morally upright and normal bunch around - they can do with a weird, slightly evil alien cousin.
What’s your favorite episode?  For me, the Last Mabelcorn is unparalleled - partly because it was the first episode I watched, mostly because So Much happened in it, So Much was foreshadowed.  It also ended with a threat from Bill at pretty much every character in the cast, so no one’s fave was safe and the entire fandom rose in one great big terrified yell.  IT WAS GREAT.
What’s your least favorite episode?  Ehhh... Honestly, Boyz Crazy was... not up to bar.  I dunno.  I barely remember anything from it.
What do you hope to see in the graphic novel?  First and foremost, mystery.  I want the graphic novel to raise more questions than it answers and give us some ciphers to crack that’s more than just character trivia (which is great, but.)  I think that is really the core element of the show, and it just hasn’t been the same in the fandom without a gazillion theory posts and code cracking attempts.
Favorite fan content?  I love fanart and fanfic equally, but especially the kind that builds off each other.  An artist draws fanart of a fanfic, an author writes fanfic of a fanart, they collaborate to make something so much cooler than in isolation!  I understand that it’s an individual choice, but I’ve never liked the “I don’t read fic because it’s too long and wordy.”/”I don’t like art because it’s too superficial.” dichotomy that sometimes happens between content creators in a fandom.

All the streaming services, ranked
CLOSE
Tumblr media
If you’re struggling with which streaming service suits your needs, here are the pros and cons of the biggest brands. USA TODAY
Welcome to the era of the Streaming Wars.
Hollywood is getting more crowded than ever as two new online streaming services, Apple TV+ and Disney+, join the digital fight for your eyeballs and money in November. And there’s still more to come: Next spring, WarnerMedia’s HBO Max and Comcast’s Peacock join the mix.
With Netflix, Hulu and Amazon already dominating the streaming world, and smaller players like CBS All Access, Shudder and Acorn TV fighting for their place in the mix, the new TV landscape can be a daunting avalanche of choices, and subscribing to every new service can easily end up costing more than that cable bill you already cut.
But not all streaming services are created equal. Before you subscribe to the latest, consider our list of the major services, ranked from best to worst. We’ve included only services not available as a cable channel (sorry, HBO Now), and those streaming in 2019 (we’ll get back to HBO Max and Peacock later).
Tumblr media
The Handmaid’s Tale was Hulu’s first breakout hit. (Photo: Hulu)
1. Hulu
Cost: $5.99/month with ads; $11.99/month commercial-free
Originals: A mix of award-winning high profile dramas (“The Handmaid’s Tale,” “The Act”), tiny, quirky and acclaimed comedies (“PEN15,” “Shrill”) and occasional theatrical or streaming-only films (“Little Monsters,” “Fyre Fraud”).
Library: Includes currently airing TV shows on ABC, NBC and Fox (“The Masked Singer,” “Stumptown”) paired with archival series (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Designing Women,” “Seinfeld”) and films (“Boyz n the Hood”).
Kid-friendly? A robust kids’ section has mostly older shows (“Sailor Moon,” “Doug”) but a few originals like “The Bravest Knight.”
Hulu tops our list because it’s a broadly appealing service that offers plenty of genres and styles without scraping the bottom of the barrel for new content. The ability to watch current broadcast shows in-season is a huge advantage. And Hulu has the best selection of archival TV series with a solid showing of films, too. Its originals could be better, but the service has wisely chosen not to overload us with shoddy new programming, a mistake its biggest competitor, Netflix, has unfortunately made. Hulu’s value is likely to grow in the next few years, now that Disney effectively owns the service. Adult Marvel content will likely gravitate here, along with a trove of FX series.
Tumblr media

2. Netflix
Cost: $8.99/month to watch on one screen at once, $12.99/month to watch on two screens or $15.99/month to watch on four screens in Ultra HD.
Originals: Has the largest crop of originals, which means the biggest mix in quality as well. Notables include “Stranger Things,” “Queer Eye” and “The Crown,” in addition to Oscar-bait movies like Martin Scorsese’s “The Irishman.”
Library: Shrinking every year. Although some stalwarts remain on the service (“Breaking Bad,” “Dexter,” “Supernatural”), Netflix is investing in originals, not in holding onto the rights for legacy series and films. (“Friends,” “The Office” and “Parks and Recreation” are among those shifting elsewhere by 2021 for U.S. subscribers).
Kid-friendly? Netflix’s kids’ section is massive, populated mostly with dozens of originals (A “Boss Baby” series, an upcoming “Green Eggs and Ham” adaptation) and some library content (“Pokemon”).
Netflix may be synonymous with the idea of streaming content, but while it pioneered the format, it hasn’t perfected it. The service has a huge number of films and TV shows to choose from, but that library isn’t as good as it once was. Netflix’s biggest flaw is that it is abandoning its archival content in favor of an ever-more-mediocre slate of originals across all genres of TV and film. Some of these series are brilliant (“The Crown,” “BoJack Horseman”), others are decent (“Queer Eye”), but most are poor facsimiles of better TV (“Ozark,” “Fuller House”). The movies that premiere on the service without a theatrical run (and thus, aren’t vying for Oscars) have a distinct “TV movie” vibe. Still, Netflix is a really valuable service and the biggest name in the game, only slightly edged out by Hulu.
Tumblr media
Pedro Pascal stars as the title character in the new Disney+ series, “The Mandalorian.” (Photo: Francois Duhamel, Lucasfilm Ltd.)
3. Disney+
Cost: $6.99/month or $69.99/year (available Nov. 12)
Originals: The first Star Wars live-action series (“The Mandalorian”), teen comedy “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series,” “Toy Story” spinoff “Forky Asks a Question” and a slew of nonfiction series. More Star Wars and Marvel series are promised over the next few years.
Library: The Disney Vault has opened, and classics (“Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”) and duds (“The Shaggy D.A.”) alike will flood the service, along with recent blockbusters (“Avengers: Endgame”) from the studio. Some titles inherited from the merger with 20th Century Fox (“The Simpsons”) also are available.
Kid-friendly? Extremely. All content on the service is family friendly to some degree, to fit with the Disney brand.
The biggest threat to existing services comes from the biggest conglomerate in Hollywood. Disney is flexing its considerable muscle by offering its classic films paired with original series from its biggest brands: Star Wars, Pixar and Marvel. Its huge library is its biggest advantage, as is the ability to reboot and revive (“Lizzie McGuire,” here we come). But the biggest disadvantage is the lack of diversity in programming. Everything here will be very Disney in tone and style, and the service has no plans for mature programming and mindless reality TV, which has its time and place. If you have kids, the value of the service goes up exponentially, but for those of us not trying to entertain tykes, other streamers have more to choose from.
Tumblr media
Phoebe Waller-Bridge takes a smoking break as the titular character in Amazon’s “Fleabag.” (Photo: STEVE SCHOFIELD/AMAZON)
4. Amazon Prime Video
Cost: $12.99/month, but comes with free two-day shipping
Originals: “Jack Ryan,” “Bosch,” “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and lots of small, awards-friendly fare, a lineup that’s changing rapidly as the company embraces genre shows like an upcoming “Lord of the Rings” series.
Library: A wide assortment that most notably includes Masterpiece  dramas(“Downton Abbey”), mid-2000s procedurals (“The Closer,” “Bones”), USA Network shows (“Mr. Robot,” “Suits”) and some older HBO programming.
Kid-friendly? Yes, Amazon includes originals like “Kung Fu Panda” and Nickelodeon series like “SpongeBob SquarePants” and “Dora the Explorer.”
Amazon’s TV output is perfectly acceptable, especially if you like quaint British television and series your grandparents will enjoy. The streamer excels at comedies  (Emmy-winning “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and “Fleabag”) and has an impressive selection of British TV  (“Doctor Who,” “Broadchurch”). Its library of old series and originals is not as big as Hulu and Netflix, but it does have Oscar-nominated films (“The Big Sick” and “Manchester by the Sea”) acquired from festivals. Your money goes further, because it pays for two-day shipping with TV as a bonus, but it still offers a higher proportion of niche programming than its rivals. Unlike Netflix or Hulu, it can’t replace your cable subscription all on its own, but its lineup will expand to include a fashion series from Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum and an expensive “Rings” adaptation.
Tumblr media
Sonequa Martin-Green returns as Michael Burnham for a third season of “Star Trek: Discovery.” (Photo: JOHN MEDLAND/CBS)
5. CBS All Access
Cost: $5.99/month with commercials, $9.99/month without
Originals: “Star Trek: Discovery,” “The Good Fight,” “The Twilight Zone,” “Why Women Kill”
Library: Current (and recent) CBS series, classics (“I Love Lucy”) and movies (“Rocky”).
Kid-friendly? Some library content like “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” and “Everybody Hates Chris,” but nothing for preschoolers and no originals.
Don’t knock the Eye’s streaming service until you’ve tried it. It’s a little on the expensive side for the number of originals, but its streaming shows have a better batting average when it comes to quality (“The Good Fight” is one of the best shows on TV). In addition to CBS shows, its library includes a treasure trove of classic films and TV, such as “Happy Days” and “The Brady Bunch.” However, it’s still limited in scope, so seeing some episodes of “Star Trek: Picard” a few times a year may not be worth the expense.
Tumblr media
Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon star in the new Apple TV+ series “The Morning Show.” (Photo: Apple)
6. Apple TV+
Cost: $4.99/month; free for one year with purchase of an Apple product (available Nov. 1)
Originals: “The Morning Show,” “See,” “For All Mankind,” “Dickinson,” “The Elephant Queen,” “Oprah’s Book Club,” and other new shows from M. Night Shyamalan and Steven Spielberg.
Library: None
Kid friendly? Nope
Despite its low price tag, Apple has a distinct disadvantage in value because it has no back library of classic shows or films. You could burn through their entire new catalog in a few weeks. And you wouldn’t get much from binge-watching the new series, which include “The Morning Show,” a mediocre soap starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. The best of the bunch is alternate history drama “For All Mankind,” from the creator of “Battlestar Galactica,” but is it worth the money to see just one maybe-good show? Probably not.
Tumblr media
Three decades after “The Karate Kid,” Johnny (left, William Zabka) and Daniel (Ralph Macchio) face off again in “Cobra Kai.” (Photo: YOUTUBE RED)
Honorable mentions: AcornTV, Britbox, Shudder, YouTube and Facebook Watch
A few other, much smaller streaming services are vying for your wallet. AcornTV and BritBox are for serious Anglophiles (Acorn has more mysteries, Britbox has all of classic “Doctor Who”). Shudder is devoted to horror. Facebook Watch and YouTube are a mix of user-created and professional content. Facebook Watch has one good original series (“Sorry for Your Loss” starring Elisabeth Olsen); so does YouTube (“Karate Kid” sequel “Cobra Kai”). Facebook Watch is free if you have time for it, and YouTube also has a free tier, with ads.

Shawn stockman: foreword
It’s an exciting time to be connecting with Shawn Stockman, who many of you know from years of being a member of Boyz II Men. After more than thirty years in the business, Shawn is at a pivotal moment in his career, as he embarks on a much anticipated solo journey. Most know foreword as being the introduction to a book, but that title fits this project so well. This is definitely a re-introduction for Shawn. Fans are now getting the opportunity to see what he’s made of as a soloist. No longer does he have the luxury of asking his bandmates if something sounds right, or whatever the case may be. He gets to figure it all out himself. Shawn has put together what I know will be heralded as an amazing project. I truly believe fans will agree that it’s well worth the wait. Shawn and I talk all about the album, the process of putting it together, how the coronavirus has affected his process, and more. We has a great conversation, and you can catch it all below!
Note: track back to our intro page to listen to full audio of our conversation!!!
Shawn Stockman: How you doing man?
U.G. Digital Magazine: I’m doing amazing man, how about you?
Shawn Stockman: I’m good, James, right?
U.G. Digital Magazine: Yep, I’m James.
Shawn Stockman: OK, Cool.
U.G. Digital Magazine: So listen, man. I’m majorly excited about this opportunity of connecting with you today. I look back over my life, and at my love of music, entertainment, and journalism, and I circle back to people like you who have truly have inspired me to do what I do and follow my dreams. I was in the 9th grade when Cooley High Harmony dropped, and I’m 42 now, so 30 years of classics man. I just remember not having a lot of money, but rushing to buy the cassette, and getting reamed for spending all of my money on the album [laughing]. I’m just appreciative for everything you’ve done for the industry, for the culture, and everything. You have truly inspired me to do what I do.
Shawn Stockman: Thank you for that man. Thank you. You know, stories like that never get old. A lot of people think it’s corny stuff to say, but I’ve seen and experienced enough to know what to appreciate and what to cherish. I’ve won a lot of things, but I’ve lost a lot of things too, James. It’s nice to know that even throughout these years, the work you put in is received. We all want to be appreciated. You saying these things is a blessing to me and a testament that what I’ve been doing all these years has not gone unnoticed. I mean it, so thank you for saying that to me and letting me know in some respect that I did something right.
U.G. Digital Magazine: I think a lot of times artists don’t truly get or understand how much they inspire. I just had a collision this past Saturday, and through all the mess that obviously comes with it, the exciting thing that kept me going is “I’m connecting with Shawn on Tuesday”. This all excites me that much.
Shawn Stockman: Aww man…
U.G. Digital Magazine: It’s cool though, and I try to start my conversations this way by saying thank you. A lot of people wouldn’t pursue their dreams in this way without people like you to look up to. You’re on your first solo release but it’s not the first album you’ve recorded….
Shawn Stockman: Well thank you so much, I’m glad you’re OK, but actually, this is the first album I’ve recorded. A lot of people think I’ve recorded an album before. I’ve recorded songs, but never a full length solo record. I’ve been on soundtracks, and special projects, but this is actually my first shot at this.
U.G. Digital Magazine: What brought you to that place now of wanting to do a solo project now?
Shawn Stockman: It’s about timing. Everything in life is about timing, and it just wasn’t the right time. It would have been cliché to try and do a solo record on the tail end of my group’s success. To me, that’s kinda advantageous and ambitious in a negative sense, because it’s living off the hype. My music would never have it’s fair shake because I’m popular in that moment. At that time, people would probably buy anything from me.
U.G. Digital Magazine: …then it’s like you’re competing with yourself as well.
Shawn Stockman: Well the truth is, you’re always competing with yourself. In this particular situation, it’s better because it’s not about anything else aside from me wanting to be creative, and me wanting to grow and develop as an artist and a person. As musicians, we go out on stage and our job is pretty much PR. We’re out there selling ourselves. Whether with my group or by myself, we’re selling ourselves to people for them to not only hear the songs, but enjoy us enough to come see us again. I put myself in this position because I wanted to see how it felt to not have the luxury of having two amazing singers by my side. I wanted to do this on my own, and this is a life lesson. Its not just about coming out with a solo record or making money, which is another reason I waited because it’s not about money. This isn’t about having to do this to pay the bills. The bills are paid. I wanted to do this because hopefully it will transcend me as an artist to be able to do things outside of what I’m most known for.
U.G. Digital Magazine: We won’t say hopefully though. It definitely will. I’ve heard seven of the eleven tracks, and it’s really amazing. I love the fact that it doesn’t sound like Boyz II Men. You have a lot of groups where the members venture out solo, but it sounds like the group. I think you have your own sound and now the fans get something new but equally amazing.
Shawn Stockman: Thank you. That was intentional. The intention was to let people know who I am as an artist and as a human being. This allowed me to stretch out. I didn’t have two other guys with me. It was just me, and even the process of recording the record, there were times, most times, when it was just me and the engineer. Sometimes it may be the producer, Tim Kelly, who produced a lot of songs, but there were also some that I did. That felt so nice to be in the studio and not have influence from anyone. I could sit there and introspect, and do what was best for me. At the end of the day I have to sing these songs so they have to come from a real place, so people don’t think I’m just singing a record that some producer made. I have to be involved in every song.
U.G. Digital: It comes across tremendously organic. It’s like it truly authentic, and it’s not anything that was just thrown together for you by other writers. It sounds natural.
Shawn Stockman: Thank you.
UG. Digital Magazine: It’s funny because I just gained access to the album yesterday, and I keep replaying it, thinking I may get something different each time I listen. The only thing that really changes are the favorites. Right before you called I was playing Shawn-Na-Na. Yesterday I started with All I Do, and from the first verse it was really dope. It’s not Boyz II Men. It’s really dope. I don’t know what I like the most.
Shawn Stockman: You don’t have to choose man. Like them all [laughing]...
U.G. Digital Magazine: I haven’t been in that place in such a long time where I’ve picked up an album, and the whole thing was dope. You worked with Raphael Saadiq on this project, which also drew me in. He’s someone that I buy anything he puts out. Boyz II Men, the same thing. I’m waiting to hear the other four tracks that aren’t on the teaser. I’m eager for that.
Shawn Stockman: I thank you for liking the songs that you do. Seven out of eleven ain’t bad.
U.G. Digital Magazine: Right.
Shawn Stockman: I’m doing good. If you don’t like the other four, I’m still in a good spot [laughing].
U.G. Digital Magazine: Well we know that won’t happen [laughing]. But you spoke abut life lessons. What have you learned from the solo experience?
Shawn Stockman: Patience. That’s the most important thing I’ve learned in life. Everything doesn’t always come when you want it to come. It doesn’t mean that because you didn’t get it, you won’t get something better along the way. I know it sounds corny, but it’s so real.
U.G. Digital Magazine: Maybe to somebody younger, but not to me at all man.
Shawn Stockman: Yea, real talk. I mean, because there’s a lot of things I expected to happen sooner, or I wanted it to happen sooner, or why isn’t this happening now? It’s because it was better happening at this point. So I learned patience. I learned how to just sometimes wait things out and allow things to happen naturally. Let God do his thing. Let him put certain pieces in place, and allow certain things to happen for the bigger picture to develop. That can only happen with patience. Every action doesn’t always require a reaction.
U.G. Digital Magazine: I like that. Sometimes you just have to sit and wait.
Shawn Stockman: Yep. You gotta wait. Just because somebody said something or did something to you doesn’t mean you have to do something to them. A lot of times, it just takes a moment to see who, what where, why, and when. You gotta do that. Patience is hard as well. A lot of times, everyone’s first reaction to someone’s action, especially if it’s negative, is to clap back. Sometimes you gotta wait and let God do it.
U.G. Digital Magazine: That’s perfect advice. I just want to hit on promotion a little. With so much happening with the Coronavirus, how has it affected your promotion?
Shawn Stockman: I hate to say this, but it’s actually better. It’s allowed people to actually focus on the music and artists that they normally wouldn’t have. The world moves fast. Everything happening has  actually slowed it down and allowed people to look around for a second and see, oh it’s not just about this artist. I’m not speaking just for myself. It’s helping a lot of other artists who may not have had the ability to promote, or the budget, or the means to do it. You know, people being able to sit and listen to other acts they may not have listened to before, they may stumble across my record. Everybody gets to sit, listen, and appreciate. I can hang my hat on my project and know that if you’re in an environment where you’re able to listen to music, and listen to it nice, you’ll enjoy my project.
