omg @labyrynth this is more spot on than you can possibly realize
my mom rescued and fostered retired racetrack greyhounds when i was growing up and so i legit grew up around, at minimum, 4+ greyhounds at a time, plus the ones that were fosters
and i suspect that is why i do enjoy dogs but, uh. never want to cohabitate with them again
