as much as i don't really care about logan and have joked about him getting dropped throughout the year this was actually quite a sad ending to what could have been the beggining of this guys dreams coming true.

everyone knows he got moved up earlier than he was maybe ready for and he had zero luck in getting a team - and especially a team principal - who incentivised and believed in him. logan went through what must have been enormous stress: the threats last year, then a renewal, then carlos being announced, then his boss shading him to international media and now finally being fired after only one race back from the break.

don't get me wrong, i understand why he was fired and even agree with it to a degree. i am also very happy for franco - although afraid that the same will happen to him and a bad/underwhelming nine races will destroy future f1 prospects. but still, what a horrible way for sargeants dreams to end. hope whatever he does next he finds more success in 'cause god knows f1 wasn't very kind.
