Never ever in a million billion years would I have ever seen this coming or even dreamt of it. Ask and ye shall receive, lovely fic author! I am sorry tummy hurty :( Flame is definitely my favorite of your fics so far because it's such a clever, fun use of tension. To have the characters start hooking up almost immediately, but still angst constantly that their partner must not *really* like them like that...it's gloriously stupid (positive and in-character, to be clear) and delicious and fun. You get to have lots of well-written smut AND emotional turmoil AND a lovely, sexy, and sweet ending where they finally figure it out. Just, a clever premise and lovely polish. :)

This is such a random question at a random time, but, do you think that Milk could have bruises on his left arm (his left, shield wielding arm) because of the shield bashes he does? I think the shield could bump into his arm from the knock back very harshly… hmmm, fluffy scenarios of tending to Milk's bruises (healing him for a change, ha!) come to mind.

I mean I'm no expert, but I'd assume a proper good shield would be designed to prevent that kind of injury.

Buuuut I'm kind of a sucker for the idea of tending to Milk Cookie's hurties so 🥺 I'm down for it.

Milk Cookie would be extremely flustered/embarrassed in a situation where someone would tend to his wounds. It's HIS job! He's supposed to be the hero that protects and doesn't fall!

But he wouldn't be grumpy or anything, he'd just smile/laugh sheepishly, maybe call himself silly for getting hurt.

But underneath he might be crying, if getting hurt makes him feel like he fails to be a hero... Who knows?

Still, in the end, he'll just be super thankful that someone is here to care for him.
