at my core I am but a music binch and I've said it before and I'll say it again

the soundtrack of a TV show may not break a show for me, but it sure as hell will make a show for me

in a world where shows are hesitant to have halfway decent lighting, if the showrunners cared enough to make a full orchestral leitmotif for a character that appears only once, well.

that holds a lot of weight

#this post brought to you by me rewatching the first season of The Flash (2014)#and being BLOWN AWAY by how much care clearly went into the soundtrack #like it's pretty obvious in the Arrow crossover episode #where they blend the themes from the show in a really natural way #(and it sounding so natural indicates that it took a LOT of work)#but I watched the Weather Wizard episode and holy shit? the leitmotif for Weather Wizard? banger.#v Pirates of the Caribbean-esque to me #and this guy shows up like once. well I haven't seen the rest of the show so.#it's possible he shows up more but at this point I doubt they would know #and the show uses so much strings and idk if it's a FULL orchestra but it's damn near close #hhhhhh it's so good. it's so good.#speecher speaks
