Day 1: family/siblings & darkness They are talking about their siblings, the sun is settinggg

I dont really know what tot ell you about this scene, i had a lot of fun making it. I do think Freddy and Bonnie hang out a lot due to both being guitarists and just having the same instrument means theyll have to practice together since they can help eachother a lot more directly. This takes place after school hours, and Bonnie notices that Freddys been acting kind of weird lately, and by weird i mean quieter and looks like he hasnt been sleeping and just looks a bit. emotionally sad and frustrated. So he invited the guy to practice together, but gets left on read, then when he sees him at school he manages to keep freddy in their usual practice classroom longer and they talk. Turns out Fred is missing (mundo de las sombras) and Freddy is feeling bad to say the least. Freddy talks about it, but at this point he still doesnt want to reveal that Fred is a shadow out of fear of being judged like always, and he cant let himself do that when Fred isnt even there. So it comes off like hes talking about a dead sibling and BAM Bonnie comforts him and tried consoling him through being able to relate to losing a sibling as he lost his older sisterrrrr.

Freddy then feels weird and guilty cause he didnt “actually” lose “someone”. only he sees fred and only he feels like fred is his sibling (get him to admit that, youll have a easier time pulling teeth) theres no ‘proof’ or record of a person, he didnt ‘really’ lose ‘anyone’. snd later when fred comes back he feels worse cause bonnies loss is actually permanent. yeha weird massive sense of guilty for making bonnie bring up a sensitive topic and having his friend under the false belief that theyve gone through the same thing without a way to explain his actual situation without feeling or sounding totally mad

I havent decided on a name for his sister, ive been looking for ages and im not satisfied with anything but ill report back when i get one, ive been thinking ronnie to match with bonnie and because it’s masculine as opposed to bonnies feminine name, but i gave herrr a lil mole or lunar in the opposite side of where i place them on bonnies face snd opposite round glasses. bonnies are verticale and hers are horizontal but they are both ovalll

"Elise!" Corrin runs over to his little sister, and instantly pulls her into a giant spinning hug. He gently kisses her forehead, care and love behind his every action, before setting her back down to the ground with a smile across his face.

From who knows where, he produces a rather squishy looking (and crudely wrapped) present, opening her hands gently and placing it in them, "It's not much, but I wanted to make you something! The eyes might be a little uh... lopsided," He cringes at the thought of the poor little stuffed dragon inside of the package, one eye hanging far below the other, "But happy birthday anyway! It's the thought that counted I suppose!"

“Brother!” Elise giggles happily as he spins her around, continuing to squeeze him in a hug for a few seconds even after her feet find the ground again. She tilts her head a bit as she steps back, watching as he takes the present, her face lighting up when she realizes it’s for her.

She takes the present into her hands as carefully as she can, eagerly unwrapping it before he even has a chance to finish his explanation. 

“I wanted to make you something!”

Elise stares into the little plush dragon’s lopsided eyes as the words sink in. She would’ve loved it no matter what— stuffed animals are adorable and she loves all of them (plus it would hurt their little plushie feelings if she didn’t like them and she doesn’t want that)— but the fact that Corrin made it. For her…

“WAAAAHHHH THIS IS THE BEST PLUSHIE TO EVER EXIST IN THE HISTORY OF EVERRRRR!!” She launches herself back at her brother, hugging both him and the dragon almost painfully tightly. Not the most mature adult look, but she gave up on trying not to cry after about 5 seconds.

“ITS AMAZING AND I LOVE IT AND I LOVE YOU AND IM SO HAPPY IM YOUR SISTERRRRR!!!!”

MORE MONDSTADT IK BUT THIS TIME SHES VENTI SISTERRRRR

She is a little musician who plays the violin for the people, which makes Venti so proud. And she's a bit of a mom friend since she has to deal with Venti's drunk shenanigans. Good for dealing with Asmo and Mammon (and maybe lucifer).

Once Venti brought her to an archon meeting and they all fell in love with her cuteness. Now Devildom has to feel the wrath of all archons once they find out that she's missing. Not to mention their underlings, like the adepti and fatui.

Its a given that she's an anemo user, and maybe she'd be a polerarm or claymore? But it would be nice if she was a bow user, just like her big brother. And she has a little wind sprite form that is super smalllllll omg i love her.

Her meeting barbatos is a bit akward at first but then she gets super close to him! I would write down more, but its like nearly midnight here, so you can write the rest!

i imagine that venti and ik were like a pair of sibling wind spirits from the beginning, and then venti ascended to archonhood and gained the ability to have a physical human form - but ik was still just a wisp for a good while, until (this would mess up canon lore but ehh it's cool) venti sought out an alchemist (like rhinedottir, or maybe just rhinedottir herself) to make ik a body and teaches her how to manage it, as well as how to wield a bow like him

the first time she meets devildom barbatos, she looks at him REAL hard and goes, "............brother????" because, with the combined teal hair gradient and same name, it wouldn't be that big of a reach. then barbatos just stands there awkwardly like "um......no"

she uses her anemo powers to float up to demon's face level when she wants to talk to them, and whenever one of them's annoying her she hits them with a burst of wind to the face. also she has her wind glider, which she can propel with the wind to have flying races with mammon!!

it starts with lucifer asking her to demonstrate her violin-playing, and then they build up a routine where everyone will come to the common room to listen to ik practise in the mornings and evenings. she teaches some of the brothers some of the basics of other instruments and gets them to do some singalongs together too (they don't sound great but it's the having fun that counts)

like venti, she loves apples, and one day barbatos bakes her an apple pie and after that she decides he's her new best friend. barbatos doesn't mind that she follows him around often, because her music is a nice accompaniment to his baking/cooking, especially when she suggests elements of teyvat food to incorporate, and she has lots of very fascinating stories to tell!

Favourite story you’ve written so far: 

Probably “The Shock of Heat”

It didn’t have a lot of traction because it’s almost entirely centered around characters I made up (Daiki and Seia have my WHOLE heart!) and it takes place in Japan, but I literally came up with the idea in one night (like 3 hours) and I think it’s probably one of my most interesting stories as well as being one of my best written stories - if not my BEST written story. 

(But I’m also VERRRYY fond of “Her Specialty” because once again I think it was one of my best written fics - I like fics where I end up doing research (for this one on the film “The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari” - aka I rewatched the film then google deep dove) for them and this one and TSoH were the most researched fics I think (until we get into Tales of a Mortician)

And I also ADORE “And Warm” because the whole fic came about because Lota ( @alotawords) wrote this beautiful poem called.... “And Warm” that was written about Xelda and Dorothea and it was literally so heartwarming that I wrote and entire fic around it!!!! 

Fic you were nervous to post: 

I tend to get nervous to post Spellwood fics. Poor @evilqueensandlesbianvampires always gets the brunt of my “I just posted the fic and now I’m in a panic” because a lot of people have very sharp views on Spellwood (for good reason) and the last thing I want to do is have to write an apology post because one of my fics was seen to be glorifying abuse or something akin. I always stand by - there must have been good in him (and in my personal life, I’ve noticed that’s usually why the bad slips through the cracks for a while) and I find their relationship interesting to explore. I think that if one person aided the most in making Zelda the person she is today - I feel it must be Faustus - considering its a CENTURIES long relationship. Sooo I try to keep my tags as helpful as possible and “report” from as non-biased a place as possible when writing Faustus and that seems to so far work to make sure everyone stays safe when reading. 

BUTTT if I had to just pick one fic - probably ironically “Positively Lewd” as it was a very light moment in their history, which made it fun to write! (I DO WRITE FLUFF SOMETIMES LOTA!!! SEE!!!) 

How do you choose your titles?: 

Usually I try to find something in the text that isn't toooo obvious but obvious is you look (kudos to @timelady-queenofhell for seeing my title in AWBAN!) - like The Shock of Heat came out of the conversation Daiki and Zelda have in chapter 1 (and a few other reasons but for those who haven’t read it, that’s all I’ll say about that. *Insert devil faces*)

BUTTTT if I get really stuck I just dig through “Paradise Lost” until I can find a pretty turn of phrase that works. 

Do you outline?: 

In my head!!! I have a whole “Zelda Spellman Timeline” that I would post, but right now it contains MAJOR spoilers for certain one- shots I have yet to write so, I’ll have to wait. But, that’s kind of my outline.....not necessarily story outlines, but rather “I need Zelda to get to HERE by the end of this fic - what needs to happen to make that happen” (but usually she just does it herself.)

Complete number of fics: 17 or 19.....give or take (I have those two little series - the Melvin Moments one and the Tales of a Mortician - which can technically end whenever I want them to....)

In-Progress number of fics: @evilqueensandlesbianvampires is gonna giggle at me when I say “An optimistic 20″ because there are a lot of them and there are certainly many more than 20, butttt who can count???
