Nishinoya x Kiyoko’s Adopted Brother!Reader: Realization TW: internalized homophobia if you squint, mean noya Summary: Nishinoya despises you for being so perfect, and you want to know why he hates you. The truth comes out, albeit not the truth that Nishinoya wanted A/N: the adopted part isn’t central to the story but i didn't want anyone to feel like they couldn’t read it bc they don’t look like kiyoko. and uhhh i’m not super proud of this BUT NOYA IS DEFINITELY LIKE GAY OR SMTH THAT MAN ISNT STRAIGHT my gay ass refuses to believe he’s straight
“Goodnight, guys.” You said, waving enthusiastically as you and Kiyoko walked off toward your home. The team bids the two of you goodbye before going their separate ways.
Noya and Tanka were walking together, making idle chat before they would eventually go split up. The streetlight bounced off their tired forms as they grew closer to their destination.
“I’m kinda glad our practices are taking up more time this year. It’s nice to see (Y/N) after school. Lunch is never enough time around that dude.” Tanka said, out of the blue while the two of them talked about your sister. Noya blushed, thankful for the low streetlight.
“Yeah.” Noya mumbled.
“He’s hilarious too! I mean, it’s almost mean how much (Y/N) teases Hinata. Luckily Hinata’s got great spirit and is too gullable to take things seriously.” Tanka said.
“Uh huh.”
“You good man? Why are you sluggish?” Tanka asked. Noya shook his head and rubbed his face.
“I’m just... tired. All that studying for exams is killing me.” Noya lied. Tanka smiled and hit Noya on the back.
“Don’t I know it. Get some rest tonight. Can’t have our guardian sleeping on the job.” Tanka said. Noya smiled.
“In your dreams.” Noya said. Tanka shivered.
“More like my nightmares, ugh.” Tanka said.
Despite Tanka’s pleas for sleep, Noya found himself wide awake as the moon slowly made her way across the sky. His mind kept drifting back to you or, more accurately, the way you made him feel.
Noya hated you. He hated your damn smile, your infectious laughter, your humorous jokes, your kindness. Hell, Noya could probably write a textbook on all your faults.
If he had to pick one thing he hated the most about you, it would be your arrogance. You must have gotten love confessions from every girl in the school, minus your sister. Yet, you turned them all down. If Noya were in your shoes, he would never break all those hearts like that.
It irked Noya. No one ever loved him like that, but everyone loved you. Everyone wanted to eat lunch with you, go on dates, or just be your friend. Sometimes, Noya felt like Tanka liked you better than he liked Noya.
Even Noya found himself getting lost in your eyes a couple of times. You were enchanting, and Noya hated that about you.

You were sitting against the wall, doing homework as you waited for Kiyoko to finish up volleyball practice. Your club always finished before hers, and you refused to let her walk home alone in the dark. On more busy practices, you would help the team. Today was more relaxed, though, in order to let the boys recover a bit from yesterday.
There was one last question in your English packet to answer. You started to write the answer, when you heard Dachi yell, “(Y/N)!! LOOK OUT!!”
You quickly slid against the wall and onto the floor before registering where the ball was. It bounced right above your head and ricocheted onto your stomach. You let out a small groan, thankful that most of the ball’s power and speed hit the wall instead of your head. Kiyoko was already at your side.
“Are you okay?” She asked, looking you over for any bruises. Other than your neck hurting from sliding down at such a weird angle, you were fine. You sat back up.
“Yeah, thanks to Dachi.” You said. You sent a smile to the captain, who was scolding Noya for being so reckless. You frowned and handed the ball to Kiyoko.
“Ah, maybe I should move somewhere else?” You said. “Perhaps even sitting outside until I finish my work.” Kiyoko gave you a gentle smile.
“Only if you want too.” She said. “Practice is almost over, anyway.” You shrugged, deciding to stay in your spot.
The rest of practice went accident free. You helped the boys clean up the gym, eager to get home. Hopefully, a warm shower would ease the pain in your neck. If not, ice should do the trick.
But Kiyoko had to stay and talk some things over with the Coach while the boys went to get changed. You opted to lean against the wall and scroll through your phone as the two conversed outside of the gym.
“Yeah, I noticed that too. I think if it was a real game-” Coach Ukai started, but was cut off by the gym door opening. The janitor was there with a jacket in his hand.
“I’m assuming this is one of your boys’?” He said. Kiyoko took it from him, showing the coach the volleyball club detailing on the back.
“It is. Sorry about that. Won’t happen again.” Coach Ukai said. The janitor nodded and went back into the gym. Kiyoko turned to you.
“I think someone is still in the clubroom. Would you mind seeing who is still here? I would go, but I’m not allowed in the boys’ club room.” Kiyoko said. You took it from her and nodded.
You checked the tag of the jacket, hoping to see a name. You found none, but you noticed it was a small size. That meant that it was either Hinata’s or Nishinoya’s. You hoped it was the former, since Hinata actually liked you.
You knew Nishinoya didn’t like you, but you weren’t sure why. He didn’t hide his emotions as well as he might have thought he did. You caught the sneers and the frowns. You wondered if he didn’t like you since you told him and Tanaka off one day after they flirted with Kiyoko. But Tanaka liked you.
It didn’t bother you that Nishinoya didn’t like you. You knew you couldn’t please everyone, but it was uncomfortable to be around him. Which sucked, since you two shared a lot of friends. What really hurt was how he was with others.
Nishinoya seemed like the most genuine person you knew. He always spoke up about what was on his mind and make sure everyone knew it. It was an attractive quality of his, yet he never offered it to you. His double nature made distrust him, unsure why he was so cold around you.
You opened the door to the clubroom and, to your dismay, Nishinoya was looking around for his jacket. His head whipped to see who entered, a bright smile plastered on his face. It dropped when he saw you.
The heavy door shut behind you, which felt suffocating. You almost got hit by Nishinoya today and he hadn’t apologized or even attempted to smooth things over. That was probably the worst part; he hadn’t shown you the decency to at least make some sort of effort. At least he didn’t blame you, or you hoped he didn’t to be more accurate.
“I think this is yours. You left it in the gym.” You said, holding out the jacket. Nishinoya snatched it from your hands. He slipped it on and turned to his bag. You frowned and crossed your arms.
“‘Thanks, (Y/N).’ No problem, Nishinoya. By the way, Coach might say something to you. ‘Thanks for the heads up, (Y/N).’ You’re welcome, Nishinoya.” You said aloud. Nishinoya turned back and gave you a pointed stare. “You’ve been rude to me all day! Don’t give me that look.”
“Me? What the hell did I do?” Nishinoya asked, his voice raising.
“First of all, you practically ignored all day, again, in school and practice. Then, you almost hit me with a volleyball, which I get it was an accident, but you didn’t apologize or make an effort. And now you’re ignoring me again after I came up here to give you your jacket. I have no idea what your issue is with me, but if you keep this up, I’ll give you a reason to hate me.” You said. Nishinoya turned away with a huff.
“I don’t hate you, alright?” He said, standing up. “Now, could you move? I’m trying to leave.” You leaned against the door, blocking his way out. He frowned and mirrored you by crossing his arms.
“What’s your deal with me, anyway?” You asked. “I’m not moving until you tell me.”
“I don’t have a problem with you! Can you please just move?” He asked. That was probably the first time he had said please to you.
You crossed your legs in response as if you were getting comfortable in your spot. Nishinoya gripped your arm and tried to push you. His strength caught you off guard, causing you to grab his arm to catch yourself from falling. The awkward angle and tangled limbs somehow found Nishinoya’s back against the door while your arms boxed him in, your faces inches apart.
Nishinoya’s breathing got shallow as his cheeks started to dust with pink. Butterflies swarmed in his stomach, and all he wanted to do was punch the breathless look on your face. Thoughts of violence vanished when his eyes caught sight of your lips for a second.
You, however, didn’t feel any of this energy. You felt angry and upset. This close, however, you were able to catch his gaze on your lips. It was brief, but you saw it. Instantly, the lights when on in your head.
“I know why you’re always so rude to me.” Your voice hushed, causing shivers to run up Nishinoya’s back. He had been so rude for so long that you were getting a kick out of his eager expression. For once, it felt good to be on the other side. “You like me.”
Nishinoya’s hands went up to your shoulders. He gave you a harsh shove that sent you to the floor. You weren’t quick enough to catch yourself, landing on your back. You hissed in pain as your back came in contact with the hard floor, some of the air leaving your lungs.
Nishinoya’s eyes widened while his hands shook. “I’m not gay!” He shouted, before opening the door and running away quickly.
You groaned, sitting up. You lightly slapped your head. “Fuck, I really messed that up.”

For the rest of the week, Nishinoya refused to meet your eyes and would make an excuse anytime you were near. You felt a twinge of guilt every time he left or refused to meet your eyes.
Maybe you had gotten it wrong, but the way he looked at you in that moment, the way his eyes dared to linger, the way his breath hitched ever so slightly made you sure he was gay and he liked you. You had definitely come on too strong, though. You were embarrassed and eager to make amends.
You were coming up with an apologize when the bell ring, signaling that class was over. You were slow to move, exhausted after staying late with the team. You spotted Nishinoya’s own sluggish movements as he slowly gathered his things.
You looked around the classroom, noticing it was empty. It was now or never.
You walked over and stood in front of Nishinoya’s desk. He refused to look up at you, making your stomach twist in anxiety. You bent down.
“Nishinoya, I’m really sorry. I crossed a boundary I shouldn’t have and I... I just got really excited to know there was another gay person in my friend group, ya know? Anyway, I totally deserve the cold shoulder. You don’t even have to forgive me, but I want you to know that I’m sorry and I’m aware I crossed a line.” You said, pausing to see if he would respond. Instead, he stayed perfectly still. You felt your heart twist. You stood up and started to walk towards the door when he spoke up.
“I’m sorry. I treat you like shit and you’ve never once gotten angry. You’ve always been kind and understanding. I also hurt you, which was uncalled for.” You turned to face him and smiled. He was bent over, like you were before.
“I guess we’re both dicks, huh?” You said. Nishinoya smiled despite himself. He looked up at you, smiling at one of your jokes for the first time.
“I guess so... but I have to tell you something.” Nishinoya stood up and took a deep breath. “I’ve been thinking about what you said and... you’re right. I hate that you’re right, but you’re right. I’m... gay. I mean, it was so obvious I didn’t want to believe it. When you said it, I got so angry because I knew it was true. I was also upset that you noticed. I didn’t want anyone to know, but here I am telling you, who’s basically a stranger. I mean, I never learned anything about you and here I am, coming out to you.”
“I’m proud of you. If you have any questions, I’d be happy to answer them. I understand where you’re coming from. If Kiyoko didn’t help me through it, I think I would’ve reacted the same way.” You said. Nishinoya blinked in shock.
“Oh...! Wait, is she-“
“You didn’t notice that she’s a lesbian?” You asked, eyes wide. Nishinoya seems to shrink away. You burst out into laughter.
“It’s not funny!”
“It’s soooo funny! You acted like you had the biggest crush on her, yet you didn’t know she was gay! Ohmygosh!” You said in between laughter. Despite himself, Nishinoya laughed with you.
Once you composed yourself, you nodded to the door.
“Hey, you’re gonna be late to practice if you don’t hurry up, ya know?” You said. Nishinoya felt a small blush cross his cheeks.
“Yeah. Um, there’s just one thing. I’m really sorry for how I treated you. I never made an effort to try to be nice to you so... would you let me make it up to you?” Nishinoya said. You tilted your head.
“You don’t have to. I totally understand-“
“I want to take you out on a date!” He blurts out. You smile.
“Yeah?” He nods. “Alright then. What were you thinking?” He opens and closes his mouth.
“I didn’t think I’d get that far.” You let out a small laugh.
“It’s okay. Why don’t we start small and get a bite to eat after practice?” You ask.
“What about Kiyoko? You always take her home.” Noya says. You nod.
“It’s okay. She and Yachi are going to the bus stop together.” He smiles at you.
“Okay. Okay then! It’s a date.”

Untitled part 2
This gif is completely unrelated but I thought it was funny
It was the rough texture of Mike’s tongue on my face that woke me from my morning slumber. It didn’t bother me, in fact, I was more of a morning person. I stripped my clothes and headed for a quick shower. It was trash day. Sunday was trash day for everyone, but I made sure to get up early to avoid jamming my trash in an overflow of garbage. Slipping on black leggings and my bunny night shoes I fed Mike and tied my trash.
Garbage in hand I slipped out my door hoping to avoid Jessie. For some strange reason around this time, she did yoga on the lawn outside the gym. Maybe she just liked nature. I looked in the parking lot tugging my trash behind me. I noticed the black Porsche from yesterday parked beside my KIA. It wasn’t the same one, I just decided to buy a newer version. I never cared for lavish cars. If we wanted to park under a shade Abe also had a 15 car garage.
“Michonne, baby!” A loud voice bellowed startling me. Jessie fell in the grass; I didn’t even see her there.
“Good morning Negan.” He was a nice guy if you got past the fact that he was a man whore. He trotted in my direction also totting a bag of garbage.
He licked his lips smiling. “I’m glad I got to see your beautiful face this week.” Those dimples were tempting but I knew the truth behind them.
“Me too. How are your girlfriend’s?” I asked nicely. We walked pass Jessie who was shooting daggers at Negan.
His face turned sour. “Don’t think I didn’t notice the s dear. I’m settling down now. The life I use to live doesn’t quite suit me anymore. Don’t you think?”
“Right,” I responded with a smile knowing everything that came out of his mouth was bullshit.
“A little birdie told me you have a new neighbor, I was thinking about moving next to you. Just to be a little closer. But no! Fucker snatched my spot.” Talk about laying it on thick. He raised the garbage lid to throw in our trash.
“If it makes you feel any better. It looks like they’re a couple.” He looked surprised as I told him.
“That doesn’t put me at ease sweetheart…” His gaze drifted to Jessie as she touched her toes with her hips angling in the air. I rolled my eyes. This man was a trip.
“I’m sure we’ll talk later Negan.” I made my way back to my place and in the kitchen. I let the water run over my hands, the foam went down the drain. I opened my fridge and eyed the remainder of Carol’s cookies. Despite my terrible first impression of Lori, I really wanted to try. Who knows maybe I’d even get a breakthrough with her. I grabbed the pan and headed next door.
I took a deep breath as the gold seven gleamed at me. I wasn’t sure what made me feel a bit self-conscious. I pulled my locs into a ponytail but I felt my tank top riding up when I knocked on the door. I probably looked like a suck up already. Just to add a little flare I threw on a big smile before the door opened.
Lori looked confused until she clocked the pan of cookies in my hand. “Sorry for the awkwardness yesterday. I brought some cookies, sort of a home warming gift.” Lori smiled at me awkwardly and relieved me of the pan. I told myself, I was doing this for new clothes and Mike. I peeped behind Lori into the living room. I frowned, it lacked the feminine touch. Strange since Lori wore exuberant colors, much like the red expensive dress she had on.
“I don’t eat cookies. They make you fat.” She stared at me as if to prove a point. I could’ve sworn my palms twitched.
“Okay, if you don’t like them can you give them back?” I held my hands out for the pan that never touched it.
“That’s fine I’m sure Rick will enjoy them.” Her boyfriend no doubt. I tried my best to hang onto my smile. I noticed some movement behind Lori but she deliberately blocked my view when I tried to peek. Okay, I get that she didn’t want me looking at her man but I wanted to look at her man. Only to ease my budding curiosity. Carol never told me how he looked. Besides, I didn’t want to have sex with him. At this point, I’m borderline asexual.
She gave me a tight-lipped smile when a deep voice caused her head to turn. “Who’s at the door, Lori?” He had a southern accent to his voice. Mama always said a man with a deep southern voice was nothing but trouble. Abe didn’t count, he was married.
Lori kept her mouth shut, slowly inching the door close. “Well, I guess I’ll see you later,” I shouted on purpose. I’m sure in another life Lori and I could be friends, but in this one, she was a bitch.
“Oh,” He said from inside. “Remind me to get groceries before I get back here.” He sounded a bit frustrated. I heard a slam of what I assumed to be the fridge door.
“Well, I’m sure I’ll see you around uhhh…”
“Michonne.” I supplied a little annoyed.
She chuckled dismissively. “Oh, right. How could I forget that?”
I didn’t bother waiting for her to shut the door in my face. I retreated to my apartment deciding to get Carol’s pan back tomorrow. Hopefully before either of them went to work. Mike was snuggling against the cushions on my couch, purring. I smiled sadly. I knew some days he was in pain but I was too selfish to let him go just yet. Maybe Carol was right. Maybe my toxic past with online shopping could be overlooked. Sighing in defeat I went in search for my laptop.
Four hours later I had numerous tabs open. All consisting of victoria secrete, Nike, Gucci and many more. My eyes were burning. With over two hundred items in total, I was about to call it quits but my mouse still hovered over the buy button. To buy or not to buy. It was a difficult choice to make, every time I ordered something it either never came or came too small. Every single time.
I sighed after hearing a knock on my door. Recently it seemed to be a common occurrence, knocking on doors. I dragged myself off the couch leaving Mike to tiredly scratch at the monitor.
I probably looked high by the time I answered the door. I knew for a fact my eyes resembled the hair of the burly man standing in front of me.
“Hey, Abe.” Besides the numerous cameras on the property, high gates and security codes I felt safer knowing an ex-militant was living next door to me.
“For an introvert, you’re a bit too friendly.” I was indeed a bit too friendly to the guy sporting a white wife beater and a big ass cigar. He continued “Just wanted to let you know we’re having a little gathering by the pool next week. Give you some time to gather your introverted wits.” I leaned against my door frame.
“Is this gathering a special occasion?” I asked curiously. The only gathering they did was once a month at a restaurant, as far as I knew.
“Very!” He boomed. “I thought you met your new neighbor already?” Everyone knew I always tried to suck up to the new neighbor.
“Oh, I did. They seemed…nice enough.” It wasn’t a complete lie. Lori was a bitch but I guess the guy warranted the ‘nice enough’.
“They? Anyway, Rick’s an old squadmate of mine, saved my ass more times than I can count.” Is there a way too feel doubly safer? He could bring more of his squad mates, I’d offer a trade for Jessie any day.
I frowned, “Why didn’t you celebrate when I moved in? Let alone everyone else?”
“Why are dingle berries brown?” I didn’t even know what that meant. “Like I said he’s an old buddy of mine, we go way back. I thought you guys would’ve hit it off,” The only thing that would hit it off was my palm against Lori’s face if she tried me again. “He loves your work.” Wasn’t that something special?
“You didn’t say who I was, did you?”
“Your secret is safe with me.” He tapped an arm against his chest then used two fingers to draw an invisible x.
“Am I required to wear a swimsuit? Because if I have to I’m not going.” I didn’t want to sound snobby or prudish. I was proud of my body and learned to embrace my weight along with the flaws but I didn’t want Negan barking around me like a dog in heat.
“It’s optional and try to keep an eye out for squirrels around the gym. Jessie’s been complaining about them stealing her grapes while she did yoga.” She doesn’t even do yoga in the gym, but I’ll keep my mouth shut.
After assuring Abe that i’d keep a look out for squirrels I went back to my laptop.
Monday was my elected day of work. I’d wake up at five and head to the gym. After that, the rest of the hours were devoted to working on my pieces. Being my own boss had its perks. Thankfully the gym was empty when I got there. I hit the treadmill with my headphones deeply rooted in my ears. My feet pounded against the machine and the world fell away. Nothing but classical music filled ears, my breathing began to match the pitch of trumpets and the strum of the violin. Twenty minutes passed and I began to slow down. ��Grabbing a towel I wiped off the sweat draining down my brow.
I needed to get Carol’s pan back. That was always the awkward part of schmoozing, the first time was always weird. They’d answer the door looking at me weirdly until I asked for the dish. I did squats along with some crunches before I headed back upstairs.
Standing before my neighbor’s door I silently hoped I didn’t have to slap anyone. I hoped for a peaceful morning greeting without any hostility. I took a deep breath before hitting my knuckles against the door and I waited. And waited. Turning around I made sure the black Porsche was still next to my red KIA. And it was. Glowering at the door I knocked again, a bit harder than last time. Maybe they didn’t get up this early, it was six in the morning after all. I had a regeneration smoothie to make so hopefully someone would get up and open the door soon.
I was about to knock again when the door swung open and I was met with a broad-shouldered man with the bluest eyes. Carol was right, the bearded man from Saturday wasn’t homeless, obviously. I just stood there silently taking him in. I peered at the unruliness of his curls which ended at the nape of his neck. His brown shirt clung to his figure, it was obvious he worked out. I was never one for facial hair but his beard made me feel so hot. Here I was standing before him with my mouth hanging open and the scent of sweat from my workout still clinging onto me. I understood why Lori hid her man from me, I’d do the same if he were mine too.
His eyebrows were tightly knitted no doubt wondering why a maniac like me was banging on his door. To the best of my ability, I gathered my wits remembering why I was knocking on his door at six am in the first place.
“Umm G-good morning.” Now I was a stuttering mess. Get it together Michonne! I went seven years without finding attractive men attractive. This one wasn’t any different.
He had a small smile on his lips. “Good morning…” I forgot he had a southern drawl.
“umm, I left my pan here yesterday…I was wondering if I could get that back?” He seemed amused by my frazzled state.
Running a hand through his curls in an effort to tame it he opened the door a little wider. “Come inside, I’ll get it for you.” He saw my hesitation. “It wouldn’t be very nice if I left you outside.” He explained. It was just something about him, just being around him. I couldn’t trust myself, but there I was going inside this man’s condo.
I stared at his back but I couldn’t help that my gaze went down to his ass encased in grey shorts. What do they call these shorts now? Dick shorts? Okay, I was positive I needed to lay off tumblr for a while. I found my way to his leather couch. Nothing really changed since peeking inside here yesterday. The walls were still white and bland. I appreciated the glass coffee table before me, it added a bit of color to the entire living room with one yellow stripe. Other than that everything just screamed bland bachelor pad. For someone that Abe said loved my work, I guess I expected a tad more color. I crossed my legs deciding to keep my hands to myself as I perched on the edge of his couch. The less of my sweat I got on his things, the better.
“Can I get you anything? Water, tea, coffee?” I looked over at the kitchen after hearing a clatter of dishes. He ducked behind the counter when he came back up Carol’s dish was in his hands.
“No thanks, I actually have a smoothie to make.”
“Oh, you were in the gym?” Though it was a question it was more of an observation. As if noticing my attire for the first time, I felt his eyes slide across my seated figure. It was unnerving how my skin prickled with awareness. At thirty, I was too old to be lusting after someone else’s man.
He approached me, holding out Carol’s precious pan. “Thank you for the cookies, I washed and dried the pan for you.” Grabbing the pan I held on for dear life. I felt completely surrounded by him. He was just so close to me. I huffed ignoring my thoughts. He stuffed his hands in the pockets of his shorts and of course, my eyes darted to the movement. Tumblr was onto something when they called it dick shorts, the name had a purpose. I gaped at the impressive tint currently pressing against the grey fabric. Maybe it was just the horny haze muddling my mind but I could’ve sworn it twitched toward me.
He coughed, drawing my attention to his face. He knew I was staring, hell I knew I was staring and it wasn’t an accident. Even though he knew I was gaping at his crotch his face didn’t give it away. His face still held a small friendly smile. This was out of character for me, I didn’t go around blatantly staring at men’s crotches. I needed to get out of here.
“I’m really sorry about banging on your door this early. I didn’t think about you still being asleep and all.” I cringed inwardly. Of course, he was still sleeping, when he answered the door he looked as if he just tumbled out of bed. I retreated to the door. I wanted to run for the exit but I wanted to seem more civilized.
Waving off my apology he opened the door for me. “Don’t worry about that. I needed that wake-up. Hopefully, I’ll see you around…” He trailed off waiting for me to fill in the blank.

“Michonne…” He repeated, testing the word. As it spilled from his lips I started to wonder why I never invested in a vibrator. “I like it, it’s unique.” He studied me but he was frowning now. “I’m Rick Grimes.”

Chuck vs. The Cougars Part 3
You all ended up brining in Mark Ratner the next day down to Castle. Blindfolded of course. You had place in a interrogation room. You and Chuck were standing off to the side as Casey did his thing. "This is not a negotiation. Okay, Ratner, here's how this is gonna go down." " Wait. You're our waiter. From the restaurant. Man, we really screwed you on the tip." "You want into witness protection, you're gonna have to scratch our back, too." "What do you mean?" " Those two goons from last night, they don't report back to their boss, he's gonna want a follow-up meet. We're gonna cover that drop. He contact you yet?" " I'm sorry, but I prefer to deal only with Special Agent Carmichael. The man saved my life last night." " Is that right, Special Agent Carmichael?" Casey said, turning to Chuck, glaring at him. Chuck just stood there, not quite sure what to do. "Y/N are you an agent too?" Mark asked looking at you now. "Uhhh..." "Yes! Yes this is my wife, Y/N Carmichael. And it's funny you should mention the whole special agent thing...You should really see me scale buildings with suction cups, 'cause I'm... I'm very good at that. I only dabble in the violence. So... " "Modesty doesn't suit you, Mad Dog." Casey said. You and Chuck looked at him weird. "Mad Dog? Why... Why do they call him that?" Mark asked. Casey winked at you both and you both winked back. " Listen, I got to know where your next meet's at, okay? And I'll ask you real politely. My partner here, he's a maniac. It's... It's fine when it's to protect you, but you don't want to be on the receiving end of Mad Dog. That's how I got this." Casey showed him a scar." Huh? I parked in his spot once. This scar reminds me every day- don't mess with Mad Dog." "It's true...my husband can be an animal." you said walking closer to Mark. "You should have seen what he did to a man who got handsy with me...It wasn't pretty." " Now, I'm gonna ask you... Let me ask you one more time. Where's the meet?" " Look, I-I don't know, okay? He texts me. That's it, that's all I know." Casey looked at him then backed away slowly and looked at Chuck. "He's all yours, Mad Dog." All of a sudden Mark's phone went off "No, no! I... Wait a minute. This, this is him, right now. He's-he's-he's... He's texting me right now! This is him! Okay, he wants to meet tonight. But-but that doesn't work for me. I can't meet tonight. Tonight's my reunion, and my wife has really been looking forward to this- she wants to be reunion queen. I couldn't disappoint her." "Stop talking! You'll meet him there." Casey said. " I... I-I don't know about this." "No one's gonna mess with you, man. I got your back." Chuck said, acting the part. " Okay. Okay, I'll do it." Casey looked back at Chuck and nodded, then took Mark out. You walked over to Chuck and circled your arms around his neck. "Not gonna lie...that was really hot." you said smiling. Chuck smirked and winked at you before kissing you.
You and Chuck later went down to Sarah's apartment. You knocked on her door and she answered, sweating and wearing workout clothes. "What?" " Brought you a present." you said, holding up a box. " Well, it's not my birthday." " Oh, one down, 364 and a quarter possibilities to go." you said as you and Chuck walked and went to sit on her bed. "Just open the box, hmm?" Chuck said. Sarah opened it and pulled out a dress. "Why do I need a new dress for?" " I know you're gonna see this as a glass half-empty, but I think it's a real opportunity..." Chuck started. "Spill it!" Sarah shouted. " We have to go to your reunion." Chuck finished. "Look, I know that you don't like talking about your past, much less revisiting it, but the reunion is where the drop's going down." you said as Sarah walked away. "Look, I'm sorry. It's just... High school... It was a tough time for me, okay?" " Tell me about it. We-we get that. Trying to figure out who you are and what you're gonna do with the rest of your life while constantly distracted with raging hormones." Chuck said, trying to understand her. " I... It was more than that for me." she said looking at you both now. You smiled softly at Sarah and walked over to her. "Hey... it'll be okay. Trust me. Besides, everybody remembers high school way worse than it was."
You all arrived at Sarah's reunion, all dressed up. You and Sarah walked in arms linked as Chuck had his arm around you.
Your dress:
"You look beautiful." Chuck said softly to you and you looked at him and blushed. The fact that he could still manage to make you do that was amazing. Sarah looked around nervous and you could tell. "Sarah relax. You look great." you told her and she smiled back at you. "Thanks Y/N." You all then proceed to walk over to the check in table. "Welcome Cougar, class of '98!" the woman behind the table cheered. " Hi. Jennifer Burton?" " Burton? Ooh, here." she handed Sarah a sticker with her name on it. " Thanks." Sarah said, putting the sticker on her dress. " Wait. You're Jenny Burton?" " I am if it says I am." You and Sarah linked arms again and you could tell it was all getting to her. "Hey, hey. Hey, hey, hey. " you started to say softly, stopping Sarah and turning her to face you and Chuck. "No one's gonna mess with you, Sarah, okay?" " We got your back." Chuck added. He then looked up and saw Sarah's high school photo. She definitely looked different back then. " Wow! Oh. It's not that bad. It's not that bad." Chuck tried to reassure. " Mm-hmm." You just smiled awkwardly.
You all were walking around the gym, where the reunion was taking place. Chuck picked up a couple glasses of wine for you and Sarah then took one for himself. "Remember, the only difference between high school and a high school reunion is that you don't get suspended for being drunk." Chuck said as you all walked over to an empty table. "Want to dance ladies? Fortunately for you, I was at the top of my game in '98." Chuck then started to do some silly dance moves and it made you giggle." Oh, a little bit of that. Come that, oh, and then... and then mirror that, you know, just kind of... " Sarah saw Heather and Heather waved at Sarah then talked to a couple women and they gave Sarah weird looks and began to walk. Sarah looked down. "What? What is it? You okay?" you asked her. "So, my buddies and I checked out the room and picked the best-looking girl here. Decided to come introduce myself to the woman I'll be waking up with tomorrow. Or maybe two." The man who approached your table said, looking at both Sarah and you. " Dick Duffy." " And I'm Chuck, Y/N's boyfriend, but Jenny here is off limits too... " Chuck said quickly stepping in. "Jenny? Wait. Jenny Burton?" Dick said, shocked. "Damn! Ten years has been very sweet to you. " "Thank you." "Ten years is a Hell of a long time, especially to someone living in an eight by ten cell. How is your dad?" You and Chuck looked at Sarah then back at Dick and looked down at his tattoo and flashed on it. "Nachos! I smell nachos! That's gonna hit the spot. Let's get some nachos." Chuck said putting his hands on yours and Sarah's backs, walking away. " Bye, Dick." " I think that's him, that's the guy." Chuck told Sarah once they were far enough from him. " What guy?" " Duffy. We just flashed on Duffy." you told her. "What'd you do? Attend Bad Guy High?" Chuck asked sarcastically. "What are you talking about?" " Well, Duffy has some kind of connection to the Russian mob. I'm pretty sure he's the guy that Ratner is supposed to connect with to hand off the super-bomber plans." Chuck said. " Makes sense. He's always been a jerk. Okay, you go catch Ratner up, have him set up the meet. Y/N go with him actually. I'll tip off the DJ. " "Why? Why the DJ?" you asked confused. Sarah motioned her head and you looked over to see Casey, working as the DJ, and having quite a fun time. You were all pretty shocked to see that.
You and Chuck were able to find Mark so you could inform him of what was going on. Chuck made sure to get into his "Mad Dog" mode. "My bosses at Langley have informed me that that's the guy who's been texting you." "Our target is Dick Duffy? Of course! The guy who terrorizes me in high school is now going to terrorize the entire world with my super-bomber." " You're gonna be just fine. You have my personal guarantee. And my wife here will be watching out for you as well." Mark discussed everything with Ratner, you and Chuck standing close by to listen in. He wanted to meet with Mark later tonight outside.
The three of you now were just waiting at a table. "Never should have stolen the bomber plans. I should have gone right to you guys. But they threatened my wife. I wasn't thinking straight." You and Chuck nodded your heads, agreeing with him. "You see, I'm just a guy who likes math, you know, and somehow I got a beautiful girl like that to fall in love with me. I have to pinch myself sometimes. It's like I'm dreaming. Ah, forget it, Agent Carmichael. I mean, how can I expect a cool guy like you to understand?" " You know what, Mark? Sometimes the nerd gets the girl." Chuck said looking over at you and smiling lovingly. You smiled back at him and leaned in to give him a sweet kiss.
Later, while you and Chuck were with Mark, Sarah and Casey found out quickly that Dick wasn't the guy. Little did they know, the real person behind all this... was Mark's wife Heather. And she wanted you, Chuck and Mark dead.

Plot: It’s 10 months later and Jeno and Renjun are at each other’s throats for many revealing reasons and the group realize that this is the start of an inevitable revolt. At their separate homes, the groups both learn a little bit of a bigger truth.

10 Months Later
“Ugh Jeno, come on. It’s so bloody obvious you like Jaemin, stop trying to deny it. I mean it’s almost pathetic how you’re so willing to do everything and anything for him at the drop of a penny,” Haechan exasperates.
“Yea, just man up and tell him how you feel fam. You’ll feel better, trust me. And it’s pretty clear he likes you too after he lost his shit when you dyed your hair platinum so I don’t know what you’re waiting for,” Chenle says, sipping his milkshake.
“Can we just drop this whole topic on Jaemin? I mean isn’t that the reason we’re here?” Jeno asks, clearly annoyed.
“Whoa, well someone’s not havin’ it. Are you on your period or something?” Haechan sneers.
“Shut up. Just stop talking, both of you. I don’t wanna deal with this dumb shit right now. I just wanna eat my damn sandwich in peace, is that too much to ask for?” Jeno asks before taking an extra large bite from his sandwich.

“Renjun! Talk to me! You can’t just ignore me forever, what’s going on?” you stomp after Renjun.
“Nothing, just leave me alone!”
“No, not until you give me a reason why!”
“Ugh fine! I’m fed up of you trying to tell me why Jeno is a, quote on quote, ‘good person’. It’s irritating and if anything, it’s just making me despise him even more. I don’t even wanna hear his bloody name anymore!” Renjun explodes.
“But why? He never did anything wrong,” you defend.
“I’m not gunna tell you,” he barks. “You just wanted a reason why and I gave you one, now leave me the fuck alone!”
“Renjun! Don’t you dare do this to me damnit! You know this is the only time I have to talk to you and I really don’t wanna spend it arguing with you! So stop acting like a child and tell me what’s really going on here!” you demand.
“You wanna know why I feel the way I do about him? Why don’t I just show you instead?” Renjun says thickly as he marches up to Jeno.
Jeno stands up from his seat when he sees Renjun incoming and Renjun knocks him off his feet by throwing a firm punch. Jeno gets up with a busted lip and looks beyond pissed. He stomps forward to grab Renjun by his collar and the sound of bone cracking fills the space. Renjun groans but recovers quickly as he goes to punch Jeno again, aiming for his nose as well. Their blood drips and splatters on the once-white tile floors as they give piercing looks, their chests heaving. You grab Renjun and pull him away from Jeno firmly. Their gaze remains unmoved as Haechan and Chenle hold Jeno in place.
“Keep Winwin away from Kun hyung! He has done nothing but made hyung’s life miserable!” Jeno rages, attempting to come closer to Renjun.
“Yeah? Well that snake ‘hyung’ of yours, Taeyong, wrongfully took Yuta hyung away from Doyoung hyung and looovess to make a scene doesn’t he?” Renjun seethes.
“Don’t call hyung a snake! The real snake is Johnny! Just look at what he does to Jaemin,” Jeno retaliates.
Renjun breaks away from you and grabs a hold of Jeno once more. You forcefully yank Renjun back by the back of his shirt and slide him away from Jeno.
“STOP IT! BOTH OF YOU! I’ve had enough of this constant fighting! Day in, day out, all I fucking hear is you two saying shit about each other and poking at each others sore spots! I’m done! I’m fucking done with all this bullshit! Go ahead and kill each other, I’m done! I could care less at this point, I don’t want anything to do with either of you! If you or you die, good for you! Problem fucking solved right? Isn’t that what you want anyways? Actually no, I don’t care. I’m leaving, you two can get back to killing each other,” you yell harshly as you stomp away.
Everyone in the room falls silent and seemed to be frozen so no one dared to go after you. Even Jeno and Renjun looked at each other in shock but it was Jaemin who steps in and helps the two fallen boys onto their feet.
”Jisung and Chenle, can you two go get some ice packs for me please? And Haechan could you fetch some towels?” Jaemin asks gently as he guides the bleeding guys to a seat. His soothing, silky voice helps everyone snap back into reality and sends the three right to work. He sits Jeno and Renjun beside each other and they shift towards each other but Jaemin just put a soft hand on their chest and they get the message.
“Jae I’m sorry I-” Jeno starts but Jaemin silences him by putting his hand up.
“Don’t bother. Let’s just fix you two up, it’s best not to raise any suspicion at home,” Jaemin says delicately.
Haechan jogs from the hallway into the corridor where the guys were and hands Jaemin one of the towels as he says, “You’re lucky no one heard you. If anyone did, it would’ve been a real mess. Anyways, I managed to get some towels and water bottles from the gym room, thankfully it was empty in there.”
“Yea,” Renjun mumbles as Haechan gives him a bottle and towel.
Jaemin on the other hand, takes the towel and wets it a bit then starts to clean Jeno’s busted lip. Jeno hisses in pain but he just looks at Jaemin as he carefully dabs his lip and his heart swells in admiration but falls into his stomach in shame. He really didn’t mean to drag him into the middle of this argument but Jaemin is the reason why they both fought so passionately, even if they didn’t realize it at the time.
“We couldn’t find a ice vendor but we got some cold soda?” Jisung’s voice echoes from behind the group, causing them to turn around.
“That’s fine, bring it here,” Jaemin reassures as he waves them to come over. The duo gives the icy cans to Haechan and they ask if there’s anything else to do.
“No, that’ll be all from you guys, thanks. But as for you two,” Jaemin turns to the bloody duo, “this needs to end. If you keep this up, Y/N isn’t the only one who’s gunna turn his/her back on you guys. And clean up your own mess that you made. Here ice your face for a while then get to work.”

“Renjun, be more careful next time, ok? It hurts me to see you like this,” Hansol says quietly to Renjun as he lets him rest his head on his lap and brushes stray hair off his face.
“There won’t.. there can’t be a ‘next time’ because I’m afraid of losing Jaemin too hyung. When I saw Y/N walk out, I realized I really messed up because I know he/she isn’t coming back. He/she really meant it and I saw the look in Jae’s eye and I knew he did too. So I can’t do this anymore, I don’t want to lose anyone else hyung,” Renjun says softly as a single tear trickles down his face.
“I know Ren. I promise, as long as you stick to your word, Jaemin will never leave your side,” Hansol smiles down at Renjun sadly, continuing to pat his hair.
Jaehyun comes towards them with plates in hand and sloppily sets it down on the table and mumbles, “Doyoung said to eat,” before jumping into an empty seat on the couch, watching TV and messily eating off his plate.
Hansol shifts and helps Renjun to sit up against a pillow then gently hands him his plate, “Here you go. I’ll be right back, I’ll go bring you some water. Hey Jaehyun, do you want anything to drink?”
“Huh? Oh uhhh yea, I’ll take some cola,” Jaehyun replies without peeling his eyes off the screen.
“Okie then, I’ll be back,” Hansol says before leaving.
“SO…” Jaehyun exclaims as he turns to face Renjun, causing him to jump in shock. “Tell. Me. EVERYTHING. How did it feel to punch that bleached brat on his ‘oh so perfect’ chiseled face? You liked it didn’t you? Mhh I can see it on your face, you don’t have to hide it. That’s how we all started. All it took was one punch then the thirst of blood becomes a part of us. I’m proud of you Renjun, I didn’t think you had it in you. Thought that Y/N person was softening you up but they seem good for something after all. But yea, congrats little one, you officially proved yourself to be a part of the gang so we gotta get you your own black leather jacket now. I’m pretty sure Doyoung hyung is already stitching your name on the back of one right now. Haha, really I’m happy for you Renjun and hey let me know if you need anything ok?” Jaehyun announces as he leans over to give Renjun a fist bump.
As Renjun hesitantly returns the bump, Hansol walks in and Renjun retracts his hand quickly. Jaehyun just chuckles to himself and goes back to his dinner and show.
“What’s going on here? I don’t think I’ve ever seen you two ever talk, let alone fist bump. Oooh no, I know. Look Jaehyun, I don’t know what you told him but he isn’t like what you think so just keep away from him and leave him alone. Don’t feed him lies and make him do shit that you think will make-”
“Hyung, chill. I got the message so you can save your breath and besides I just congratulated him that’s all,” Jaehyun says with a wink as he gets up to leave.
Hansol just sighs heavily as he face-palms himself so Renjun speaks up, “Hyung it’s ok. We were just talking it’s not a big deal and you should go get some rest yourself, you have work tomorrow don’t you?”
“Yea that’s true but if he said some dumb shit to you then you come let me know ok?” He states sternly.
“Yes hyung I know, I know,” Renjun sighs.
“Ok good, well I’m off to bed so goodnight Ren,” Hansol yawns.
“Night hyung,” he replies.
A few moments later Mark, Jaemin, and Jisung walk into the room, all with mixed emotions and before Renjun had the chance to ask what happened, he sees Doyoung following them then he understands. On Sundays Doyoung has made it a habit to gather the guys and give them a lecture about whatever is on his mind, mostly education and how important it and stuff like that. But he had a very stern look on his face and Renjun already knew it was about the fight. Everyone sits on the couch to settle in but Doyoung remains standing.
“So, you all have eaten right?” Doyoung checks.
Everyone nods and Jisung pipes up, “But hyung why haven’t you eaten yet?”
“Oh I’m just not hungry right now, I’ll eat later but thanks for asking. Ren, how are you feeling? Do you need another ice pack or anything?” Doyoung asks, his expression softening a bit.
Renjun shakes his head and says, “No, I’m good hyung, thanks.”
“Ugh can you just hurry up and start already? I have something to do,” Mark grumbles.
“Actually, you can just go. This conversation won’t pertain to you since you’re already 18 and you’re not technically my responsibility anymore,” Doyoung sasses. Mark scoffs and just walks away, towards Johnny no doubt.
“Ok now that he’s gone we can start. I just wanna start off by saying I am disappointed in you guys. I can’t believe that someone here went up to that Jeno boy and punched him. Is that what I taught you guys? I thought I raised you well, I didn’t realize that you decided to listen to Johnny instead. Did you guys forget who the real leader here is too? I’m just disappointed, that’s all I’ll say about that. Anyways, that’s not the point of this discussion. The real reason is that I wanna know which one of you invited someone from the Color Pop gang here. Because I’m not sure how else this bomber jacket made its way into the house.” Doyoung asks as he lifts a pastel pink, baby blue, and white colored bomber jacket that is indeed from the Color Pop gang.
The boys just look at each other with wide eyes, silently trying to figure out who brought it.
“Did you bring it by mistake Jisung?” Jaemin whispers silently.
“No, I thought Renjun brought it to stop the blood on his face,” Jisung replies quickly.
“Are you stupid? Do you see any blood on that jacket?” Renjun asks irritatedly.
“So now that you guys done discussing amongst yourselves, who’s is this?” Doyoung questions once more.

“Kun, I don’t want to go inside. No one even cares if I’m there or not so what’s the point babe? Why can’t I just pack my stuff and come live with you? I hate having to leave you like this every night and I hate having to keep you a secret. I love you Kun, please don’t make me go,” Winwin pleads tearfully as he hides his face in Kun’s chest.
Kun holds Winwin’s face and plants a soft kiss to his boyfriend’s supple lips. “Baby I love you too but I promise I’ll come pick you up in the morning, same as always. You will still have a part of me there with you at night, remember the jacket? And babe, I promise once or if things ever get better then we’ll announce it to the whole world. But for now, I’m afraid we just gotta wait my love,” Kun says glumly, pressing his forehead against Winwin’s.
Winwin nods as he holds onto Kun’s hand that was wiping away his tears and he whispers, “Okay babe, I’m gunna go inside. I love you Kun, I’ll see you in the morning love.”
“Ok love, good night,” Kun replies, kiss him goodbye.
“Good night,” Winwin says from the door as Kun walks back to his car. Winwin unlocks the door and waves before he disappears inside.
“Winwin?” a groggy voice cracks in the soft light.
Winwin’s head darts towards the voice and he sees Doyoung’s head resting on his hand on the table. “Doyoung hyung? Why are you sleeping at the table?”
“Not sleeping, waiting. Come eat dinner with me please, I’ll heat up the food again,” Doyoung says as he gets up from his seat.
So Winwin comes and helps Doyoung heat up their food, not minding the time that displays a 1:48 am in neon green. They sit at the table just the two of them and eat in silence until Winwin asks, “Hyung, why did you wait for me? You should’ve eaten and went to bed, you have work in the morning.”
“I wouldn’t have had to wait this long if you came home earlier,” Doyoung jokes lightly. “I had to make sure you had something to eat before you went to bed yourself. And I wouldn’t have to do that if you’d just introduce me to the lucky person who keeps you so late.”
Winwin blushes like crazy but lets out a light chuckle. “I’m sorry for worrying you hyung. And I’m sorry but I can’t introduce you to my boyfriend.”
“Is this his?” Doyoung asks, gently sliding the bomber jacket from earlier across the table to show him. Winwin looks at the jacket and his eyes go wide in shock then keeps his head down in guilt and fear.
“Mhh, I understand,” Doyoung smiles bittersweetly. Here, take it. Keep this in a safer place away from where anyone can find it ok? I don’t want anyone else to see this, this is never happened.”
Winwin looks up surprisedly and takes the jacket softly, muttering, ”Thank you hyung.”

“Y/N?” Yuta calls out in a whispered shout.
“Here,” you raise your hand so Yuta can hurry over to you.
“Hey, thanks for meeting me so late. I heard about what happened so I brought your stuff with me, figured you’d want it back since you’re not staying with us anymore,” Yuta says casually, handing you a bag.
“Thanks. So what did you want to talk to me about? And I hope it’s not some lecture ‘cuz I thought I made it clear that I-” you start, pointing a finger at him.
“You did. Oh boy, you made it very clear that you don’t wanna interact with Jeno at all so that’s why I thank you for coming out to see me. I’ll just get straight to the point ‘cuz its gunna take a while cuz its gunna be hard for me to finally say o what I’m about to tell you. Ok, I called ‘cuz I need your help with something and I know you’ll reject the idea if I just tell you right now but for you to understand where I’m coming from I’m gunna tell you a story about how I ended up with Taeyong.”
“Hyung/oppa, you already told me this story. It’s one of a kind but just tell me what is it that you need my help for.”
“No, I never told you the real story. It’s time that I tell you the truth and I’m warning you, you might feel differently about me when you hear to the end of it.”
