wait that thing like "the universe said 'I love you'" is from actual minecraft, the regular game??
#this whole time I thought it was from like. a YouTube video series where people play minecraft and come up with stories and lore and whatnot#that's from the GAME???#fascinated tbh#it's never resonated with me like I've read the entire thing multiple times and it's always fallen pretty flat to me#maybe partially because I don't have Any reaction to personifications of The Universe#(except sometimes a bit of an eyeroll. idk call me unsentimental but there's no such thing as The Universe as an entity)#(it's just a word we created to describe Every Possible rock and tree and bug and star and gas and bone and vacuum and distance and)#u get the idea#I mean I do love fiction where a Place is sentient#or a sense of connection and history is a living force (Shivers Disco Elysium my beloved)#but I just cannot take the attempted application of that whimsical idea to like.
