So I was in the middle of nowhere all weekend so I had a list made on my notes app for a post and forgot about it.
RDR HORSES AS OTHER PETS
Bodecia- A mutt (probably part pit bull) dog who terrorized everyone and ate at least one of the entire gangs boots.
Old Boy- A Chesapeake Bay retriever who John cannot get out of the water.
The count- A cockatoo. Dutch acquired it from a very reputable breeder and treats that bird like a god. It also knows how to talk but only curses out the gang.
Silver dollar- An African Grey parrot. Hosea rescued his parrot from a bad situation and because of the situation, he can’t fly. However that means Hosea walks everywhere with that parrot on his shoulder. The bird sings show-tunes often.
Boaz- A rainbow boa. Javier is a reptile geek and has a really nice set up. He has had snakes all his life but nothing compares to Boaz. That snake is his first born child.
Taima- A German Shorthair pointer who was surrendered for being too energetic, and she still doesn’t trust a lot of people. However Charles takes her to the park every day for a hike, plays with her at every possible opportunity, and has been doing everything to get her to trust him. She’s absolutely a cuddle bug around him.
Maggie- A standard poodle who knows more tricks than any other dog in the gang. She is extremely well behaved, however she is spoiled by Lenny a lot. She will not eat if anyone feeds her but Lenny, but she will always beg for a treat from the others.
Brown Jack- The biggest, friendliest dog possible. He’s a mutt and no one knows what he is but he is LARGE. Bill carries him around like a baby though.
Ennis- A fuckass hamster that bites everyone. Sean loves that little guy though, even though his fingers are perpetually covered in bandages from hamster bites.
Old belle- an extremely judgmental Russian blue cat. She’ll always just stare at everyone and John has threatened to fight the cat.

Girl’s Night Out
Final Lisa Snart Appreciation Week fic, back when I was on the captaincanary train and thought the show could use some female friendships.
"We are going to rule this place!" Lisa whooped enthusiastically, running to the street and urging the blonde behind her to hurry up.
"Calm down, Party Princess. Don't want people to think you're already drunk and cut you off." Sara retorted at the woman's giddiness.
"Cut me off? Never. Who wouldn't give little ol me a drink" Lisa drawled, putting on the most angelic face she could muster, and twirled a strand around her pinkie. That got the men every time. The sweet, nice farm girl role was easy to play and so much fun to watch how they fall over themselves to carry her bags, and shoes, and comfort her when she threw up in the toilet, warning her not to go too fast yet always offering her a round of mimosas the second she perked up. It was Thursday night. Girl's night for Sara and Lisa.
It had started a couple of months ago when Leonard miraculously returned from the dead. Lisa had almost refused to believe it. After months of mourning she didn't want to be reminded of him or worse, see it was just some imposter. It would hurt too much. But Mick basically dragged her along to the mission and she had been thrilled to see it was the real Leonard. Leonard had been beaten, traumatized and depressed but slowly he got better with the help of the Legends and especially with the care of herself, Sara and Mick.
When Lisa had found out about Sara and Leonard's relationship, well to say that the Snart protective streak was all on Leonard's side, please. She stalked the Lance home and once Sara entered her room, Lisa asked her point blank what her intentions were with her brother and that if she ever broke his heart due to some stupid-You're evil, I can't be with you excuse, she was personally going to cut some body parts and feed it to her.
After Sara had calmed her down (i.e. kicked her ass), she assured her that she would in no one intentionally hurt her brother.
Lisa grudgingly had to apologize for shoving the knife to her throat. The next day, Sara decided to make up for the whole confrontation by hanging out together.
It had been a blast. Lisa didn't have many girl friends, even Shawna the only Rogue she hated out with voluntarily, hardly counted since she was gone as soon as the heist was over. Plus Sara was pretty cool, she didn't take crap from any man or woman, always was ready and willing to do some motorcycle races, drinking contests and even started teaching her how to knock a guy out with a boa stick. Nor did she sigh about how handsome Leonard was.
When Lisa had asked about their relationship, without weapons, Sara just explained how Leonard had helped her through a tough time and that he was very "cool" to say the least.
Bad puns aside, Thursday nights when Sara was home from traipsing around in the past the two would hit Central and sometimes Starling City and go clubbing.
Their first stop was Saints & Sinners. Lisa ran to the dance floor, grinding and shoving herself to the middle of the ground. Enjoying the heat and action and the strobe lights hitting her silver sequined mini dress, sending sparkles around.
She looked around for Sara and saw she was by the bar, glaring moodily out the window. Lisa shimmed to her side, "What'sup are you gonna go bust out the moves again?" "I'm okay. I'll just be here with the drinks" Sara answered, stirring the rim of her gin glass.  "Are you sure? I mean the guys loved you last time. Remember the eunuch test?" Lisa tried to copy the move that Sara had done which involved some odd gymnastic bend with a machete.
"Yeah, I would like to see your moves" A guy with way too much cologne approached them, sleazy sliding his hand up and down Sara's arm. 'Whatever" Sara shoved him off, making him crash to the nearest table and walked out the doors, "Lisa let's go to Jitters I'm tired of this place." Lisa raced behind Sara, "Are you okay? You didn't give that creep the throw down you usually do." "Lisa, I'm not going to start a bar brawl every time someone hits on me." Sara muttered irritably.
When they reached Jitters, Lisa was pleased to see it was karaoke night. She cheerfully mocked and snarked about all the unfortunate singers who went up to sing and was thrilled when even Cisco Ramon and his friend, Barry something came on stage too to do a "The Ten Duel Commandments.”
She waved to Cisco but stood by Sara because it was Girl's Night and she could flirt all she wanted tomorrow. Plus she was a little concerned, Sara hardly cracked a smile or even replied to her sarcastic compliments. Something was bugging that girl, and Lisa wanted to know what.
"What's with you" Lisa hissed, pulling Sara to the nearest bathroom stall.
“Nothing, Lisa. I'm not in the mood okay. No what I'm sorry if I'm bringing down your night. I can go home, we can do this another time." Sara grumbled, starting to put on her coat.
"No way, you're getting off that easy. Talk to me" Lisa gripped her arm tightly. "Let me go" Sara snapped, kicking Lisa to the sinkLisa grabbed Sara hair in an effort to keep steady, and swiftly put her in a headlock.
Sara elbowed her in the chest, flipped her over and pinned her. Her knee eating on Lisa's chest with excrutiating pain. Damn assassin training!
Lisa felt a rising panic, why did she push the buttons of a bloodlust assassin? She had to snap her out of it. "Sara! Stop being a neandrathalic dumbass and talk to me!" Lisa cried, using one of Len's favorite insults.
Sara blinked slowly, realizing what she was doing and hastily got up, “I'm sorry! I don't know what came over me, I thought I had learned to get over it."
"Whatever, you can have a nice long soul searching talk with Lenny about that. Just tell me what's got you so shitty" Lisa  said, dusting on off her dress.
Sara sighed and leaned against the wall, looking downcast. "Laurel."
Lisa suddenly understood Sara's whole attitude during this night. She moved beside her, and knocked her shoulder against hers in a silent solidarity.
“I’m sorry," Lisa whispered.
"I know this sounds selfish, but Mick got to say goodbye to Leonard when we thought he died, then it turned out he didn't. I'm thrilled, those few months without your brother hurt me too. But at least there was some closure there and we had a chance to go back in time and fix things. But I can never do that for Laurel. It was Darhk's doing not the Oculus or the Time Masters. There was so much I needed to apologize to her for." Sara hid her face with her hands and slid to the ground. Lisa made sure to lock the bathroom doors and slid down next to her. "I know how you feel.” Sara looked at her questioningly, "And it's not about Lenny's death. It's my mom's. I learned that for those who are dead and for sure are not returning, you've got to hope. Hope and think about them. It's incredible stupid but it works. Laurel loved you, I'm sure. Would she have really want to end things with grudges and stuff? No good sibling would. I bet she understands all the things you want to tell her."
Sara nodded solemnly and got up. “We can do this another time, I just need to be alone for a little bit" Sara said, managing to keep a steady voice despite her wet cheeks. "But thanks."
"It's what sisters do" Lisa shrugged, and Sara stared at her questioningly "You're going to be around Len for awhile so I just accepted the fact that we're sisters now. You should probably start too." Lisa said a matter of factly.
Sara nodded slowly, "I think I could get used to the idea." Lisa shrugged, "You better. I already started.. uh stealing some of your boots that you left at Lenny's but since we're sisters now, we can just call that borrowing."
Sara heaved a big sigh, and Lisa smiled to herself. It was going to be a pretty weird family relation but it was gonna be a hell of a fun one.

The Poison Sister
Chapter 4
Haunting Memories
Warning: sexual assault, manipulation, and abuse, kind of incest..? (Biting is meant for mating, but he’s biting her to use her manipulation of memories and dreams..)
Memories
Normal
Tumblr media
“Lady Akame!!” Jaken yelped. He watched the female walk down the path ahead of them. Her eyes graced forward and only a slight twitch of her tipped ears showed that she heard the imp. “Why are you alone Jaken?” the female questioned. “L-lord Sesshomaru’s arm had been cut clean off! D-during a battle with Inuyasha!!” he yelled. “H-he needs your healing abilities my lady..” he mumbled. She turned looking at Jaken closely then nodded and walked towards him.
The imp led her through the forest and towards the laying demon. “You truly are pointless.” she mumbled. “I can’t heal a limb, but I can’t stop the bleeding.” she stated. Her boots clicked as she stepped on a tree stump and sat down. She grabbed his sleeve, forcing him to sit up and ignoring his threatening growl. “Growl at me all you want, it’s not getting you anywhere.” she firmly stated.
The two said nothing, the female only watching as a bright red light emitted from her left hand healing the harsh ripped skin. He took notice of their mother’s scent crossing against her skin, but also the sight of So’unga strapped her back neatly underneath her boa; which had slipped down and wrapped around her elbows. Silver strands where tied back in a loose ponytail, and golden eyes shining brightly in the darkness. When he looked at her, the first thing he thought of was royalty. She didn’t wear a crown or a fancy kimono, but instead held a confident gaze with a powerful attitude. She held marking that only a true royal daiyokai could hold, a sword of a great dog demon; a body filled with poison that could kill the strongest demon in mere seconds. Her whole being screamed queen of the world. But yet she wasn’t. She refused her title. Refused her marriage. Refused her royal name.
Just as he had done the same thing.
Jaken stared at his lord cut arm, as the skin was no longer gushing blood nor was the skin torn and rotten; but instead fully healed over and sealed. Akame had departed to a river to wash her hands of any blood. She spoke nothing to her older brother, only when she called him ‘pointless’. But yet even after he almost had her killed, she still helped his arm. He slowly stood up ignoring Jaken’s yells for him to rest. The daiyokai made his way towards the river and looked at the female.
She sat on her knees cleaning her hands, her boa laying beside her along with Murasume and So’unga. “So mother had the sword this whole time.” he stated. The female just hummed and sat back fixing her kimono sleeves, and then pulled up her stockings more. She then stood up and pushed her hair back fixing the ponytail. “Mother sends her regards. Says you should visit sometime.” she stated. She picked her things and walked away, the small fox quikcly jumping onto her shoulder. “Akame.” the male growled. Her pace stopped and she looked down and then back towards him. “What happened that night?” his voice was cold, but his eyes showed slight concern for the girls well-being. “Why do you care? Why don’t you continue believing what you assume. You spent over 60 years believing it, so why ask for the truth now?” she questioned.
He walked towards her grabbing her arm, turning her body so she was facing him. He could see her darkened veins showing the miasma draining through her body has not left yet. She looked to the side the fox leaving her shoulder and began chasing Jaken. “Why do you care..?” she whispered. “Because your still my sister.” he growled. “And if you refuse to tell me, then I’ll find out myself.” he growled. Her body was shoved against a tree, his palm pressing against her wrist causing a black chain to wrap around both of their hands, his fangs dug into the crook of her neck.
The female clenched her teeth grabbing onto the sleeve his kimono, her eyes glowing brightly as a blue barrier surrounded them. Everything soon went black and memories sank around the two of them. Memories that have been haunting her.
Akame sat on the bank looking over the flowing river. She had a long black and red kimono on, and murasume laid beside her. Long silver strands blowing in the wind, and gold eyes mimicking the shimmering moon. ‘I know your back there Kikyo.’ the female mumbled. The priestess walked out slowly and made her way towards the young daiyokai.
Akame stood against the tree watching, her hand clenching her older brothers kimono tightly; his fangs digging into her skin harder. “S-Sesshomaru.. p-please stop..” she whispered. He just shifted closer as he growled against her skin.
‘Kirinmaru..?’ the female whispered. She slowly stood up as Kikyo walked away hiding her smirk. Miasma surrounded the area causing the daiyokai’s body to weaken. Her eyes glazed over as she fell back slightly, her back colliding with the ground. The imitation daiyokai for on top of her, miasma emitting from his body. ‘Stop...’ she whispered.
Her kimono was torn from her body, the demon crying for the man to stop. Her virgin body was slammed into, her lips parting and a silent cry left her lips. Blood dripped from her ruined cunt, and tears began falling down her cheeks. The demon began to pound into her, laughing as her cries got louder begging for him to stop. Each time she attempted to fight back the miasma got stronger causing her body to weaken. The demon was using the royal daiyokai, scentencing her to death by her own families hand. Poisoning her royal blood by stealing the only innocent part of her body.
Tears fell down her cheeks as her body slowly fell limp against her older brother. Small cries left her throat. She tried to break loose of his hold no longer wanting to see the memories. But the chains held them together until he removed his fangs. She slammed her eyes shut crying as she struggled. The first time Sesshomaru had bit her, Tōga had to rip the boy from her body. She remembered blood gushing from her throat, and how her father tried everything he could to rid of the wound. Tōga and Inukimi almost killed the boy once the wound had been fully healed.
Her body laid there, kimono torn and only covering her bloodied cunt and breasts. Blood and semen had sank across her thighs, while the female looked broken. She slowly pulled herself up and clawed her way to the river, sinking inside. A blue light surrounded the pond, and a loud scream from the demon could be heard. A deep guttural growl echoed across the air. But the female looked as if she noticed nothing around her.
But the moment her older brother came into view, her tear filled eyes met his. Her body weakened and covered in scratches. The scent of virgin blood covered the land. A growl left the older siblings throat. ‘Whore.’ he growled. That word brought the female over the edge. A cry left her lips and she entangled her clawed hands into her hair shaking her head. ‘I-I’m not! I t-told him t-to s-stop...’ she whimpered. ‘Tch. Your pathetic. And a disgrace to this family, just like father.’ he growled. The siblings soon turned and left the shattered girl. ‘Brother..!’ she cried out.
Finally she was released from her brothers hold and fell to the grassy field. Her knees digging into the ground as she gripped her neck, her body shivering. The memories leaving a cold sweat graze across her silk skin. Blood dripped from her brothers lips as he stared forward with blood filled eyes. He was angry. Very very angry.
Akame sat alone in the clearing, her brother having left her a while ago. She had given up on attempting to stop the bleeding, and just allowed the blood to soak the top of her kimono. “Are you proud father?” the female mumbled. “Our family is just filled with a bunch of fucked up demons..” she whispered. “Royal blood... Dumbest thing I’ve ever heard..” she whispered. “Would you have reacted the same way brother had..? Am I whore for not being able to fight back.?” she questioned once more. She then clenched her teeth and slammed her head back against the tree. “Why the hell did you go after that woman?!” she yelled.
Unknown to her senses, a male spirit stood close behind her; staring at her with saddened amber eyes. So’unga glowed slightly as the female looked down, silver bangs covering her eyes. Blood dripped from So’unga, and soon gathered across the ground and surrounded the spirit. Akame soon looked up and looked over at the sword of hell. “What are you doing..?” she whispered. She slowly stood up and watched the blood trail and followed it, only to see the blood was surrounding nothing. At least nothing she could see.
She turned to the sword once more, stepped forward and wrapping her hand around the hilt. Slowly picking it up and looking at it. “That’s real blood... What the hell are doing- Ah!” she yelped. She dropped the sword and looked at her hand watching smoke rise from it. The scent of poison dripped from her. “How..?” she whispered. She quikcly jumped back overnight her nose and mouth letting out a strain of coughs. “Shit..” she mumbled. She quickly waved her hand allowing a black barrier to surround her.
Akame’s arm slowly fell from her face, her golden eyes wide, and her heart sped up. The barrier fell and the poison that came off of So’unga went straight towards her veins, only it didn’t burn her this time. “F-father..?” she whispered. Gold eyes met amber ones, her shorter form growing smaller as the tall daiyokai stood with slight confused look. Her lips parted to speak but nothing came out. Her frail body slowly fell back and she passed out, both from the poison but also the wound inflicted across her neck.

Writer’s Month Day 24: Betrayal
The story of how Libra betrayed Leo and Scorpio!
It had been on the first day of the year that Jamie and Babs found their gems. Scorpio and Leo joined their lives and Jamie and Babs started training hard. Physically and with their powers. While Babs immediately fell in love with hers – water! She could control water – Jamie hated his fire.
“Come on. Fire is strong. And you control it”, countered Babs.
They were off, away from people. In the mountains. Jamie had always liked the mountains around Los Angeles. They reminded him that this wasn't England. He glared as he balled a fist and summoned flames. They had put up targets against the mountain-side to hone their aim. It was... moderately working. They had improved the tiniest bit – in that they actually hit somewhere on the target by now instead of meters away. That was... progress. Or so the optimistic purple-haired magical girl next to him said. Jamie still couldn't believe Babs had gone full magical girl on her costume. Granted, according to Babs he had 'no room to talk!' because he had gone for the brooding hoodie and the all-leather outfit that showed off skin along the arms and legs. At least he had practical boots though. Babs just rolled her eyes at him at that.
“Oh my god, you are like me!”
Jamie and Babs startled at the sudden high-pitched voice. And they startled even more when they saw a woman descend from the sky. Jamie held tightly onto his sword, staring at her warily. She touched down on the ground with one bright-pink high-heel. She was wearing a light-pink dress that was cut incredibly high on the left side, with a deep cleavage. A silver bracelet on each hand, both attached to what looked like a fluffy boa. Red curls fell onto her shoulders as she landed.
“Who... what... are you?”, asked Jamie suspiciously.
“I'm like you!”, exclaimed the redhead excitedly. “I found a pretty pearl a few days ago and then I suddenly had a talking puppy! Oh, he's adorable! So endearing! And he told me to become a hero! And he told me there are eleven others like me!”
“And you just... happened to run into us?”, asked Babs, as cautious as her best friend.
“Oh no, that'd be a ridiculous coincident”, laughed the redhead. “I've been scanning the city for suspicious occurrences. The fire-hazard here has piqued my interest.”
She motioned toward the burning targets. And oh. Jamie furrowed his eyebrows at that.
“I'm Scorpio. That's Leo”, introduced Babs slowly.
“And one of you has fire-powers?”, guessed the redhead, while Jamie continued glowering at her. “I have... air-powers. Which include flying. Guess burning something down is more practical, huh?”
She laughed as she twirled a hand, causing a small tornado to whirl on her palm. Jamie narrowed his eyes at that. Though their companions had told them there would be ten others.
“I'm Libra, by the way. Or, we could just jump to real names right?”, tagged the redhead on with a smile on her cherry-pink lips. “We're a team, after all.”
“We are not a team”, stated Jamie seriously. “We don't know you.”
“What my partner means is that we have to... get to know you first before we can be a team”, interrupted Babs, resting a hand against Jamie's chest to hold him back.
Jamie sighed and rolled his eyes. Though he knew she was right. They were supposed to be a team of twelve, so it was good they already ran into another Zodiac. Still, she was a total stranger and he didn't trust just like that. He looked her up and down very slowly.
We... come here every second night to train”, offered Jamie slowly. “You could join us. We train together, get to know each other. Become a team.”
“That sounds like a reasonable compromise”, smiled Libra.
~*~
They trained well together. With Libra, Jamie could spar. He had a sword, she had a... he wasn't sure what it was, but it was sharp-edged on all four sides, with a handle at the center of one of the long sides. She wielded it like a knife, it cut from all ends. She was good with it.
After two weeks, they went out to fight their first criminal. A normal robbery, no aliens involved – Los Angeles was actually pretty large and both Jamie and Babs had jobs so they couldn't physically make it to most alien-attacks because by the time the news covered it and they could go and get there, it was already over. Still, they took out three robbers on their own.
“We're good”, stated Babs, laughing high-pitched as she collapsed.
They had returned to the mountain-side where they trained. Babs was laying sprawled out, staring up at the stars. Jamie offered the smallest smile where he sat next to her. Libra took her seat on Jamie's other side. She laughed softly and leaned a little toward him; not against him though.
“This was... exciting”, whispered Libra softly. We really are good. You know, this is... all I ever wanted. To help people. I've been through... so much already. I never want anyone to feel the way I did when I was growing up. No one should, so I want to help.”
Jamie smiled, though it didn't quite reach his eyes. Something about her words was shallow. Empty. He had been through so much and he never wanted anyone else to go through it, so there was something about the sentiment that he'd recognize if it was genuine.
“We could... We could exchange names now, right?”, asked Libra with a smile. “We're a team now.”
“No”, grunted Jamie and shook his head. “I can't... Not yet.”
“It's been three weeks”, countered Libra, something strained to her voice. “Come on. We just busted some bad guys. You have to trust me by now, right?”
Jamie narrowed his eyes. “You're so eager for us to reveal our real identities, but you never volunteer to go first. I just... I can't... Give me more time. I have-”
“Trust-issues. Yeah”, grunted Libra dryly, balling a first next to her hand. “Trust-issues and you'll never get over them, will you? I'm just wasting my time.”
Her voice was cold as she glared at Jamie. He shuddered at that. She always said exactly the right things, with the enthusiastic chipper note that was so familiar to Jamie from Babs. She even knew how to say things to make them sound more convincing. To appeal to Jamie. That was what didn't sit right for him. It was all too tailored. Even the things she had said just before, about the hard life she used to have. She knew how to read someone and how to appeal to them and that was what had rubbed Jamie the wrong way and left him to put her on hold. He screamed wide-eyed when suddenly a searing pain originated from his spine. The last he saw were Libra's dark eyes.
~*~
She hummed as she returned home, taking a couple tissues to clean her bloodied hands. Leo had made such a mess when she had stabbed him. Closing her eyes, she turned off the costume. She turned to look into the mirror, smiling as she straightened her dress.
“What did you do, Carry? You were supposed to turn them. Not kill them.”
“Oh, no one got killed. Not yet, anyway”, shrugged Carry with a smile while righting her red curls. “He irritated me. I had the urge to stab him. He'll be fine, probably.”
She turned toward her glowering guest and smiled delighted when she saw the Vogue on the glass-table in her living room, her own face smiling up at her. Oh, she looked good on it. Red Queen Records producing yet another brilliant singer and her, the founder and head of the company.
“Besides, it was pointless anyway”, sighed Carry dramatically before she sat down next to her partner in crime. “I have an eye for talent. They're not cut out for our line of work.”

Ranking the “Elegance after Dark” looks
Hey ! This runway was one of the most consistently polished and beautiful ever. Literally every look was at least very good, none were bad. So ranking them was quite the task and I’m sure you’ll disagree with me on a few things.
9 - Gia Gunn
Tumblr media
The gown is cute and she looks pretty. I love the weird bracelet pendant thing. But the gown is very ... simple and unsurprising otherwise. Also I think the gown is shaped kind off awkwardly at the bottom.
8 - Monique Heart
Tumblr media
Now, I looooved this look when Monique walked on the runway. I love that it’s very fantasy with the pointy gloves and stoned body, and I didn’t mind the weird nude illusion. But after looking at it a bit more the weakness of the execution became pretty obvious. The gown is made out of one fabric with a very intricate pattern which makes it hard to see all the detail-work on the garment. The gown is also not well fitted (most likely because it’s a reveal). the wig had hair flying all around and the makeup is just too much. The look was unexpected and had a great concept though so I put it higher than Gia’s.
7 - Farrah Moan
Tumblr media
Farrah looks great but there are a few problems. First, I didn’t even notice that the gown faded from silver to gold before I watched FPR. I think the effect would have worked better if the gown was shaped in a mermaid tail. Second, the feather boa is too small and unimpressive. Finally, I would have liked if Farrah had padded, at least a little. I think the main problem about this look is it’s lack of shape.
6 - Monét X Change
Tumblr media
Monet simply looks exquisite ! This is the best she’s ever looked and the fact that she’s sixth doesn’t take away from that. The satiny red gown is Great, she looks like an actress of great renown going to the opera. Two minor nitpicks here: the fishnet tights are a no, and the train looks too heavy imo. I think the shape of the gown would have popped out better if the train was made out of a more flowy material.
5 - Latrice Royale
Tumblr media
Latrice ... girl ... we know you’ve mastered the art of the gown. You do look perfect. But at that point we don’t want you to look perfect in a gown, we want you to do something unexpected in a gown ! This is what separates you from the girls in the top 4. Do more !
4 - Trinity The Tuck
Tumblr media
At that point, Trinity, Valentina and Naomi all have looks that impeccable and have a flair of surprising. They could pretty much all swap places and it wouldn’t be a big problem.
So about Miss Tuck. This look has coherence, a lot of texture, great hair, great makeup, glittering lip, amazing jewelry. I love everything. My only problem with this look is that it doesn’t give any room to breath, there is something happening everywhere. It’s perfect otherwise.
3 - Valentina
Tumblr media
I adore this look, it’s perfect in every way. I am partial to flowers in any shape so I already love the gown. A few highlights from this look : It’s shape is unexpected and makes it flow in a very beautiful way. The amount of jewelry is just right. And finally the flowery head-piece is simply gorgeous and is everything. I love this look from head to toe. Here the problem is that it doesn’t exactly fit the “evening after dark” theme, I would see this look being worn more during the day at a coronation after-party or something. But who cares about that !
2 - Naomi Smalls
Tumblr media
I’m in awe with Naomi. The bitch had already the best look during the “movie premiere” gown runway on her season (episode 2) so I was expecting a LOOOOOT from her here and oh boy ! Boy did she serve ! I just love it ! it’s amazing, it’s modern, it has shape and texture, it moves in a captivating way, and it shines ! Her leg is out, her shoe is perfect, her hair is snatched. Also the way she was walking that runway... so good. Naomi was put on this Earth for the runway. in two words : I stan.
1 - Manila Luzon
Tumblr media
I don’t remember exactly, but I saw a post somewhere of someone saying something along the lines of “Can we please stop acting like Manila invented electricity in that look” and it’s funny because ... she did. Manila invented beauty in that look. It’s that good. So because some people apparently need to be explained why this look is so good, I will elaborate.
Starting from the bottom : the tulle is the perfect color, it’s layered perfectly and under the runway lights it looks like she is walking warped in clouds. The tulle flows with her steps in just the right way. The gown is flawlessly fitted and it glitters like she just broke out of a metallic geode. The silver, gray color is perfect. The rinestoning on the nude illusion is just right and the jewelry is amazing. It looks like she is dripping in liquid metal. Finally the makeup is superb and the hair is splendid. One word : immaculate.
Thank you for reading this ranking to the end, don’t hesitate to say what you disagree with, other points of view can only provide perspective on mine.
Now I have two things to say so if you don’t care about me saying stuff, you can stop now ^^
-With this runway I realized there would be a problem with how much the runway theme matters. So I decided to use the “closeness to the runway theme” criteria as a tiebreaker. If I hesitate between two looks, the one that fits the runway theme better will rank higher. So the most beautiful look would still be first even if it doesn’t perfectly fit the runway theme. This will be more important for the “Boots the Haus Down” ranking.
-I'll try to be more consistent with my rankings so that I don’t put them out so late after the episode has aired. But I am currently working on two other rankings aside from the one for episode 3 that should come out this week.
See yall soon and of course stan Naomi !

We Tested a Bizarre Runway Trend to See If It’s Wearable

We Tested a Bizarre Runway Trend to See If It’s Wearable
Some trends simmer for months before they reach a boiling point in our collective consciousness; others emerge fully cooked and ready to consume in a matter of days. Colored tights fell definitively in the latter camp when they recently emerged in perfectly digestible trend form, and thank goodness they did because winter is almost over and I hate to think how they would have manifested in July. Body paint?
Fortunately, that question can remain safely rhetorical. Colored tights were EVERYWHERE during fashion month, both in street style roundups (see: Tamu McPherson, Thania Peck, Courtney Trop and Sai De Silva) and on the runways (see: Saks Potts, Adam Selman, Tom Ford, Shrimps, Dolce & Gabbana and Jacquemus), and thus they were, quite immediately, a “thing.”
But were they a “thing” that would translate beyond the four weeks of fashion’s most balls-to-the-wall time of year? Were they actually wearable in an everyday sense? Would people don them for plebeian activities ranging from Wednesday morning meetings to Sweetgreen runs?
None of those questions are rhetorical — not anymore, at least, because Haley and I spent three days last week wearing tights of the rainbow-hued variety to work, and we wrote up a full report on our heavily researched findings. Scroll down for our looks and thoughts, and meet us in the comments for continued discussion.
Day 1
Harling: Perhaps my lack of forethought can be excused given this was my first day of colored tights boot camp, but I ended up fully panicking when I got dressed that morning. I had no idea what to wear, even though I had bookmarked multiple colored-tights inspiration Instagrams over the course of fashion week. I ultimately decided to just put on an outfit I’d worn previously and knew I liked and simply add the tights to it like a casual garnish.
The thing is, colored tights aren’t garnishes. Their unbridled propensity for statement-making bears absolutely no resemblance to the subtle flavor a sprig of parsley might impart upon a roast chicken. Nay, the colored tights are the chicken. The outfit really has to be built around them, and not the other way around. I learned this lesson on day 1, and for that I am eternally grateful. In conclusion, I didn’t love this getup, but I was excited to try again.
Haley: I planned this outfit the night before because I knew getting dressed in the morning would result in a panicky disaster. Harling’s a much quirkier and more colorful dresser than I am, so I knew colored tights would be more of a stretch for me, style-wise. As I played around in my closet, I soon found that green tights were particularly tough to style because I didn’t love them with pink or red (the main colors I have in my wardrobe beyond neutrals), nor did I like them with black or white (very ’90s Hot Topic).
Once I realized they worked well with gray (less contrast), I grabbed everything gray I owned and put it on. I ended up loving this outfit! The overwhelming grayness of it made the tights more palatable and seem less like a “pop of color” in the cliche sense.
Day 2
Harling: On day 2, I woke up prepared and ready to take on a pair of kelly green tights like love interest Kermit the Frog deserved and never got. One of the Instagrams I bookmarked was from Courtney Trop’s account featuring her in green tights, black high-heel sandals and a black dress. I know what you’re thinking: That outfit description sounds exactly like the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz. You’re not wrong! It does! However, I bookmarked the Instagram because, despite the association, it looked positively chic, in my humble opinion.
Or maybe “despite” is the wrong word; maybe it was precisely because of its witchiness that it looked cool. Witches are known fashion icons, after all. Hocus Pocus proved that pretty definitively, but I digress. I ended up liking my outfit a lot, though I did feel the need to explain it during a coffee I had scheduled that morning. (“I swear I don’t usually dress up my legs like green beans — this is for a story.”)
Haley: Another way I avoid the cliche “pop of color” is by going FULL COLOR. Wearing hot pink tights under this red dress was actually the one outfit idea I had when we set out on this experiment. But styling in my head often fails me, and once I put them on, I was at a loss for how to finish the outfit. What ended up pushing me forward was a pair of silver flats that offered just the right amount of clash, which inspired me to add my blue puffer and eventually my red sweater for a non-disruptive layer in between.
The Uggs came into play when I had to get to work the day after a snowstorm. When I put them on, I thought, Wait…are these better? When I got to work, Elizabeth and Harling insisted I wear them instead of the silver ones, which I was fine with (way comfier), but I did feel a bit like an off-duty celebrity who didn’t want to be papped. I liked this outfit though! I didn’t feel entirely like myself, but I liked being pushed out of my comfort zone.
Day 3
Harling: I decided to give the tights what they wanted on my last day and really leeeeean into lavender. This delicious puff of a coat from Saks Potts made that initiative relatively seamless. This outfit was such a treat to wear around the neighborhood. Purple tights make normal activities like buying coffee and dispensing water from the watercooler feel glamorous. When I went to Sweetgreen for lunch and stood in a line of people wearing head-to-toe black, I felt like an eccentric celebrity.
Haley: I knew for the last day that I wanted to try wearing tights with something other than a dress because I rarely wear dresses in my everyday life. But I found it surprisingly challenging to make tights-under-shorts not look teenager-at-a-rock-concert. What ended up solving that problem was dressing them way the hell up: black turtleneck, white blazer, black loafers, attachable fur collar, pink coat. All of it together ended up making this outfit feel delightfully extravagant. It ended up being my favorite of the three!
Final Word: Yay or Nay?
Harling: As fun as this experiment was to conduct, I’m not sure I would actually wear colored tights on a regular, everyday basis. Perhaps it just takes some time to acclimate to them or I need to ease myself in with some less saturated shades like pale yellow or white. I can see why they were a popular street style staple during fashion week because they can take an outfit from zero to 100 faster than a feather boa, but this power can be tricky to wield on a random day in March when you’re standing on a subway platform and just want to blend in.
Haley: As for whether I’ll wear tights going forward…maybe. It definitely wasn’t EASY, and I still don’t think tights are a perfect match for my more casual/boyish style. But they did made me look at my closet differently and approach outfit-making from a new angle, and that made the challenge worth it.
Lessons Learned?
Lesson #1: Style around the tights. They are not a last-minute add-on.
Lesson #2: If you don’t want them to “pop” in an obvious or show-stealing way, pair them similar colors or a lot of color in general.
Lesson #3: When in doubt, COMMIT.

The Most Memorable Golden Globes Looks of All Time
This Sunday, Hollywood’s biggest and brightest celebrities will grace the red carpet for the 74th annual Golden Globes. While the show might be about recognizing the most talented actors in movies and on television, but what the stars will be wearing is just as exciting. Ahead of the event, Yahoo Style reflects on some of the most iconic outfits that have ever appeared at the ceremony with a sartorial tour through the show’s sequin-laden history.
Follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest for nonstop inspiration delivered fresh to your feed, every day.

Grace Kelly won the World’s Film Favorite Actor (Female) award in 1956, but she easily could have been named “World’s Most Stylish Woman.” Her silk cheongsam with cap sleeves was the epitome of, well, grace. Just another example of why she’s one of the most enduring — and alluring — fashion icons. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Taylor, known for her amazing jewelry and multiple husbands, wore a dainty floral print dress with full skirt when she attended the Golden Globes in 1957. She accessorized the look with a tiara, chandelier earrings, and Mike Todd (aka hubby No. 3). (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
The often imitated, but never equaled, Monroe received her last award in 1962 in a slinky, black sequin gown that no doubt turned heads at the ceremony and— rumor has it — sparked a romance with her presenter, Glenn Ford. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Who else but Cher could bare a taut, tanned tummy at a red carpet gala? The singer attended the ceremony with her husband, Sonny Bono, but all eyes were on her in a jacquard floral two-piece and oversize fur coat. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Anjelica Huston, ever the coquette, escorted her man, Jack Nicholson, to the 1974 ceremony in a rumpled silk top and matching skirt, with a fur boa casually tossed over the shoulder and a flower in her hair. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
How could you not love little Drew Barrymore in this ruffled purple dress? The 7-year-old was attending for her role in E.T., and we were charmed to the moon and back. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Sigourney Weaver had a banner year in 1989, winning Best Supporting Actress for Working Girl and Best Actress for Gorillas in the Mist, which she shared with Jodie Foster and Shirley MacLaine in a historic three-way tie. This asymmetric red dress was thoroughly modern and just the right kind of sexy. It certainly would not look out of place on a red carpet today. (Photo: Getty Images)

In an age before stylists were commonplace, Julia Roberts decided to dress herself. (A novel idea!) Her choice to don a man’s suit by Giorgio Armani stemmed from her desire to wear something that was just as comfortable as what her then boyfriend, Kiefer Sutherland, was wearing. A suit is always chic on a woman, but it wouldn’t have hurt if this one were at least her size! (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Even when she was younger, Kate Moss knew how to command a red carpet. At the height of her ’90s heyday, she wore a vintage dress to the Globes that was purchased by her then boyfriend, Johnny Depp. The full-length sequined ensemble was originally worn by Julie Christie in Shampoo, making everything about her even more impossibly cool. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
This tattered John Galliano dress was the perfect choice for a star who has confessed, “I am not a woman. I am a force of nature.” (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Berry looked radiant in this feminine red and white Valentino gown. Her minimal makeup and short hair really let her beauty shine, especially when she won a Best Actress award for Introducing Dorothy Dandridge. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
It’s entirely possible that Björk is a creature from another galaxy. We would not expect her to wear a normal dress with ruffles or a plunging neckline, so when she showed up wearing Michael Jackson’s face on her gown, all we could do is stand back and say, “Yes, Björk, Yes!” (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Kate Hudson made waves in this Versace gown. The sparkling dress with plunging neckline and bell sleeves hugged her body in all the right places and turned her into a glamorous mermaid. If there were ever a dress that perfectly captured someone’s personality, this was certainly it. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Throughout the years, Sharon Stone has established herself as someone who does whatever the heck she wants, no matter what people think. This look certainly confirmed her self-righteous attitude. The sheer top, witchy boots, car-wash skirt, and weird Illuminati pendant are an actual challenge to human eyes. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
If you look up the word sexy in the dictionary, it should come with a photo of Salma Hayek in this red hot Narciso Rodriguez gown. The dress hit all of her curves without being too revealing. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Lots of little girls want to be ballerinas when they grow up. It seemed that Lara Flynn Boyle never outgrew this wish and decided the red carpet was the best place to manifest her dreams. It wasn’t. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Many think that yellow is a hard color to pull off, but Theron’s subtly ruffled Dior gown was the perfect choice to give a relaxed vibe at an upscale event. Her perfectly tousled hair actually complemented the shape of her dress, and so did the Best Actress award she took home for Monster. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Diane Keaton is usually in a suit, a style that perhaps she should never have walked away from. This all-white look was a bit of a head-scratcher. Was it the satin gloves that put it over the top? Or the white lace Victorian boots? Or perhaps the random string of pearls? It was all too much! (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Undoubtedly the most-watched-fashionista of the early naughts, Sarah Jessica Parker stunned when she opted for this strapless gray Chanel Haute Couture dress. The look shot her straight to icon status, as did the golden statuette she took home that evening for Best Actress in a TV Series, Musical or Comedy. Carrie would have been proud. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Nicole Kidman’s teal Gucci gown was probably one of her finer red carpet moments. A bold statement for sure, but the color of this satin dress complemented her alabaster skin so perfectly, and the tuft of peacock plumage was an elegant touch. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
With her loose blond curls, the bright red, figure-hugging Valentino gown cemented ScarJo’s reputation as a total knockout. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Witherspoon’s Chanel dress was beautiful. It had a modern silhouette and just enough sparkle at the top to make it award-show ready. Unfortunately, Kirsten Dunst had worn it to the Golden Globes in 2003, which meant that major drama ensued. But in the end, the important thing was that Witherspoon looked radiant when she received her Best Actress award for Walk the Line. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Zhang Ziyi was a relative newcomer to the red carpet, but in this almost-neon Emporio Armani gown, she surely made her presence known. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
The year that she was nominated for Pride and Prejudice, Keira Knightley also made headlines for this elegant cream Valentino gown. The sexy updo and smoldering eye makeup helped to get her on every best dressed list that year. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Hilary Swank looked like a billion-dollar baby in this Chanel Haute Couture gown. The dress showed off her slender, toned frame, and the diamond hair clips were the perfect finish to this very polished look. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Dressing in a teal Donna Karan gown with plunging neckline, Helen Mirren proved that women are definitely still sexy in their 60s. It was a good year for her: She took home the award for her role in The Queen. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
This canary yellow knee-length strapless dress established Witherspoon as one of the most stylish women on the red carpet and made the repeat-dress snafu of the previous year all but forgotten. It was made by industry favorite Olivier Theyskens, who choose this moment to make his debut as Nina Ricci’s creative director. Reese’s laid-back but glam hair and red satin sandals brought the look to another level entirely. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
This was among one of Cameron Diaz’s finest red carpet moments. Could anyone else have looked this good in this Chanel dress? Her toned arms, carefree blond hair, and subtle makeup all came together perfectly. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
This Marchesa dress looked like someone poured liquid gold over J.Lo’s head: It just molded to her body. Keeping the hair off her face and adding just the right amount of bronzed makeup made Lopez look like an actual goddess. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Eva Mendes and this Dior Haute Couture gown were a red carpet magic moment. The crisp white strapless gown with exaggerated side ruffle detail was a knockout, much like the lady herself. We loved that she threw on a turquoise statement necklace from Van Cleef & Arpels. It all worked like a dream. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Diane Kruger would look good in a sack, but this dress deserves an extra- special mention because it was not an easy look to pull off. There is a lot going on in this Christian Lacroix Haute Couture fuchsia gown, with its various tones, bow, and textured ruffle, but Kruger wore it with such grace and confidence that it fared her well. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Lanvin’s plunging V-neck dress was a major turning point for the young actress, who had previously played it safe. With her smoky eye and war-eagle buckled belt, she looked like a modern-day Grecian goddess. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Swinton is queen of the bold red carpet dress, and this Haider Ackermann ensemble perfectly captured her androgynous look. It was the perfect menswear-inspired style that was worn with a wink. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
The Glee actress had the right idea when choosing this Marchesa silver dress, but she should have stuck with just the glitter. The cutouts and see-through mesh fabric that did not quite match her skin tone did her no favors. Next stop, Vegas? (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Angelina Jolie channeled old Hollywood glamour in this Atelier Versace gown. Bonus points for incorporating slashes of scarlet on her dress, bag, and lips. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
This pink Dior confection could have easily overwhelmed its wearer, but on Theron, it was good, flirty fun. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Kerry Washington has become everyone’s favorite “woman in control,” thanks to her TV show Scandal, and in this light peach, sheer Miu Miu gown with silver embroidery, she also showed that she has a keen fashion sense. The matching shoes and modern haircut confirmed her role as a boss. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Lawrence started earning her sartorial stripes a mere three years ago. This Dior Haute Couture gown is a timeless red carpet moment. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
“Oh, I’m sorry. Is my back bothering you? No? OK, let’s get on with it then.” With this Dior look, Watson began to establish her daring approach to fashion. The stylish ensemble made it clear that Hermione was not playing around anymore. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
This custom Balenciaga gown helped to conceal Washington’s ever-growing baby bump. We love that she was dripping in diamonds as well. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
The bright red, off-the-shoulder style and attached cape made this Ralph Lauren gown forever a winner for Nyong’o and cemented her place in red carpet history. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
When you’re as A-list as Ms. Moore, only a knockout custom gown by your good friend will do. Riccardo Tisci of Givenchy whipped up some red carpet magic for the Still Alice star with this ombré sequin and feather ensemble. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Versace, Versace, Versace! The supermodel mama proved that she still knows how to strut in this electric blue gown. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Mrs. Clooney made her red carpet debut in a vintage Dior gown, white opera gloves, and a matching white clutch. The gloves spawned many memes, but with gorgeous George on your arm, who cares? (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Oh, to be young and beautiful and rocking a Lanvin jumpsuit! The Birdman star looked so glam (and comfortable) in this one-piece by Alber Elbaz. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Jennifer Lopez is the queen of the naked dress, but for the 2016 Golden Globes she went for something “completely different” in a yellow dress from Giambattista Valli (in other words, she didn’t show excessive amounts of skin). (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Obviously wearing Dior, Jennifer Lawrence showed some skin in a red cutout gown. But while the dress is pretty simple, she really made it a standout with her amazing Chopard choker. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
In 2016, Brie Larson broke into the mainstream with Room — and won for Best Actress. And there’s no better way to make an entrance to the big leagues than by showing up to the Golden Globes in a gold sequin dress. You can’t deny a woman who’s dressed like a statuette the win. (Photo: Getty Images)
Tumblr media
Wearing a Zac Posen dress with Neil Lane diamonds and Jimmy Choo shoes, the Jane the Virgin actress, nominated for her role for the second year in a row (with the show only in its second season!), brought her dad as her date. (Photo: Getty Images)
