I truly do wonder about Eve... She was separated from Adam for 130 years after their banishment from Eden. The texts say he spent those years with Lilith, but what about the other woman?
#ooc : the mortal#i know you could interpret this as Adam choosing Lilith over Eve as a mentality rather than as choosing a partner over the other#unless Eve was somewhat put to sleep as a nod to the allegory and kept safe until he returned to her#tho I'm not opposed to the idea of her becoming her own woman in those years#I'd honestly love it if Lil spent time with her too 👀#dunno if they'd form a sisterhood or rivalry or romance or what have you#but I feel they'd both have a ton to learn from each other regardless

Ranking the Trio based on how they'd potentially parent
Makoto - He definitely has the most in regards of handling kids. I doubt he just sat their and did nothing while Komaru was growing up. Not that he'd be able to do TOO much since Makoto and Komaru aren't that far in age, but I feel he would have had the opportunity to observe and learn that way. Being an older sibling as well lends him to have a bit more experience with caring for those younger than him. Thus, I can see Makoto being pretty good at this. Or well, he'd say it's average but this guy can't help but undersell himself like that. Feel he'd be a good, classic dad.
Byakuya - Yeah. He has absolutely nothing. Or does he...??? OoOoOo! After all, there could be a SLIVER of chance though that he was educated in how to care for kids due to the fact that he's the heir. He's gotta make a ton of them. Buuuuuut, he could just, give the kids off to the maids or butlers something. So yeah. Circles back around to nope. He's got nothing. The added part is that he was the youngest in his family too, specifically in the competition though still the youngest there. Thus, he'd probably have a lot to learn before he can start potentially raising the kid.
Kyoko - Like Byakuya, she probably has minimal experience due to both her personality and how she was raised. However, unlike Byakuya, she doesn't have the "she might have learned at least something about childcare due to rich boy" excuse that might give her a change of having prior knowledge on kids. She legit has nothing. However, unlike him, I feel she'd be quicker to learn and, in adulthood, understand kids more than he does though both of them would be in a bit of a learning curve together regardless. Byakuya's just going to take more time and be petty with the fact that Kyoko and Makoto are excelling at this child care stuff more than him.
In regards on how I feel the three would work together in a parenting scenario (either the three are a thing or they're all just helping out), I feel they'd work good together! They'd really be able to cultivate a well rounded child with their differing approaches and ways of handling a child. Feel Makoto would be good with giving the kid a good sense or morality, Byakuya would ensure the kid knows their worth and can be proud of their achievements, Kyoko can teach the kid good critical thinking skills, and that's just scratching the surface of the possibilities! The trio would also be able to help each other out if the other's not as well versed with a certain task. For example, I feel Byakuya would have trouble changing the baby. There's also the mix of just general parenting troubles they'd face along the way. Furthermore, some other general thoughts I have on this concept is Hiro would be such a goofy uncle. He gives such good weird uncle energy. The kind of uncle one would wanna hang out with for sure and hear crazy stories from. Maybe a few conspiracy theories might be told as well though I'm sure the kid could eventually snuff out the truth eventually, no matter if one, two or all of the trio are parenting the kid. All three of them are smart in their own ways, that's for sure! Moreover, I feel Hina would be a cool ass aunt, definitely trying to get the kid into swimming and being nice to have donuts around every time they visit. Feel she'd also just be really fun to be around (she IS the older sibling in her own family too), the type of aunt who'd spill embarrassing stuff the trio might of done as in their youth. Feel Toko would also have good aunt potential too in a different way than Hina. She'd be the type one would get good book recommendations from. Also, while Hiro and Hina are more high energy, Toko's a lot more reserved so visits with her would be a lot less chaotic and more of an opportunity for learning for the kid whenever they're around. (Syo can supply any chaos anyway) Not saying Toko can't be fun to be around on her own! Feel she'd definitely say some memorable things around the kid, maybe roasting Hiro behind his back which would be humorous. Additionally, feel Toko would underestimate her ability regards to being around kids. Like, she'd think she wasn't doing as good as she was or just have those seeds of doubt in her about it. She has good potential to be just as cool of an aunt as Hina though, Komaru too which one can't forget her! Feel Komaru would be around when Toko is too so Toko isn't just doing it all alone, she's got some help with Komaru in terms of the kid and their potential visits. Also, no clue how to squeeze this in but I just have that weird gut feeling that Komaru would bring the kid to the zoo or the park or just some form of outing. I just feel she would.
#danganronpa#danganronpa art#danganronpa fanart#danganronpa makoto#makoto naegi#danganronpa byakuya#byakuya togami#danganronpa kyoko#kyoko kirigiri#in the scenario of the three being a thing it'd be funny if their kid lowkey had a favorite parent out of the three. byakuya'd be so salty#but also he'd be a bit cocky if he was the favorite parent. though i feel by the time he's at parenting age he'd be less annoying about it#feel all of them would be varying levels of flattered given this situation. could see them all even giving the others compliments#like if the kid says maktoto's the favorite makoto's going to inevitably start rambling on all the good aspects of kyoko and byakuya.#makoto would be more inclined to be saying all the nice stuff in a very dad like way. bit jokey but one can tell he's being very heartfelt#kyoko meanwhile would do it more in a logic based way. maybe more in a pros and cons kind of explanation to the child at hand#maybe treat the whole situation as a learning experience for the kid. not everyone has the same strengths and weaknesses#and just because one approaches something differently than another doesn't inherently make that different thought process wrong#as for byakuya. i feel he'd handle this situation a bit prideful of himself though slowly seeping more and more into actual compliments#like the way he explains it all to the child shows how much pride he has for kyoko and makoto and how much he genuinely respects them#idk. i just like the universe where the trio are all each other's hype men in their own varying ways. it's nice to think about.#havoc rambles

The Four Swords manga lends itself so well to a post-story slice of life/comedy series. Here are some ideas I thought of:
Blue has a crush on a cute boy he met recently, but he's nervous about it and can't find the right time or words to tell the boy about it. The other Links become his wingmen, and hilarity with a tinge of sincerity ensues.
Green realizes he's been ignoring his own negative emotions to support the others and feels guilty for wanting to ask for support. The other Links try to help him see that asking for help is alright regardless of his role as a leader.
Vio loves his teammates, yet he's never said "I love you" to them directly. When he tries to do so, the awkwardness and vulnerability prevent him from getting the words out. The other Links teach him that he's allowed to be affectionate and that affection is a good thing.
The Links are stuck on a deserted island with little food and water. They come up with ways to survive while they wait for a rescue team, but chaos naturally ensues because they are all stupid kids.
Green and Blue have an argument and avoid each other for a while. After both of them feel bad for the mean things they said and reflect on how to fix things, they seek each other out. When they literally run into each other, they blurt out their apologies at the same time, which makes them laugh. Their rivalry is safely intact.
Similar to the above idea, Blue and Vio become bitter towards each other after Blue dismisses Vio for his selfish attitude. Vio likewise dismisses Blue for his tendency to act without thinking at times. They begin an informal competition to see who can do tasks around the castle better and faster to prove who's best, but in the end, they realize they each have their own strengths that help the team. They reconcile afterward.
Green and Red want to become better cooks, so they partner up to learn recipes from Arcy and taste-test each other's creations. They make a mess of the kitchen, but it results in crafting the PERFECT grilled cheese sandwich.
Red is invited to a Fairy Fountain by Miss Fairy to learn more about fairies after expressing interest in the species. He comes home with 20 fairies sitting on his head and shoulders, and he doesn't want to make any of them go home. With all the new guests in the castle, some misadventures occur, and the fairies leave eventually - but not before Red tells them he's had a ton of fun.
The Links stay up late one night during a "sleepover" (they all live in the same place) and become reflective and honest with each other as tiredness sets in. They spend some time talking about how they feel about each other and themselves, touching on some sour and deep points.
The Links hold a friendly tournament to decide who is the strongest, once and for all! But in the end, they realize that the word "strongest" is define, and they each have unique ways of fighting that create a good synergy when they work together.
Shadow is worried he'll lose his composure in a battle and succumb to his demon nature, potentially hurting his loved ones without meaning to. When this happens in a one-off battle against a strong monster, Green and the others have to help him come down from his frenzy by reminding him of who he is and that they know he's capable of maintaining control of his powers.
Some of these ideas are OOC, but I feel they'd be good for drama that contributes to character bonding. I wish we'd get something like this from Himekawa.

If you could make a new pokemon game, what features would you include?
Disclaimer that obviously there's a lot that goes into the games regarding the size of the franchise and how it impacts other parts of Pokemon media blah blah. These are mostly for fun but I tried to keep them semi-realistic (assuming more dev time is given as well, like 3+ years instead of 1).
Also disclaimer that I'm not good at gameplay mechanics or RPG mechanics; if I was making the game for some reason I'd be hiring a ton of people to help with that obvs.
First, go back to sprite art. It's painfully obvious that the 3D models don't look as good and cause a ton of problems, so just? don't use them?? you could even do 3-dimensional sprites possibly
Now that so much time isn't dedicated to 3D models, spend time doing more animations; unique ones for each Pokemon for release, hit, attack, defend, victory, etc. Think like Colosseum or XD.
Fitting all the Pokemon is starting to get implausible, so why not just?? Split them across both games? So one game would have half the Pokes and the other game would have a different story line and the other half. Release one first and then the other to have extra time to work on it. yeah people will be pissed but they'd be pissed regardless as this is inevitable, and this feels like the most fair way to handle things
Second set of games should be sequels with different plots, not just more polished versions
For location maybe China or Australia? Australia has a ton of unique wildlife and China has a rich history and tons of Pokemon that fit the setting already
Retire all gimmicks, but bring back Megas. No two forms and restrict them to less-popular Pokes that are already fully evolved or have a reason to stay 1 or 2 stagers.
Following Pokemon is a must
Gameplay needs to be completely overhauled:
Your Pokemon can use up to six moves in a battle, and there's a "bank" of moves that you can switch around to be active between battles. No more forgetting moves to learn new ones.
You can carry up to 15 Pokemon at a time (though battles are limited to a max of 6 to avoid padding out fights)
You can train your Pokemon to fight a certain way, IE be more defensive, offensive, sneak attacks, ect. You can only choose one category per Pokemon and this affects how they attack during battle. Pokemon can also be trained to work together, which allows them to unlock combo moves during team battles
Moves are assigned to buttons
get rid of trade evos. no one likes those. or maybe there’s just an item that substitutes for a trade or something
When attacking maybe like a VATs system where you can aim the attack yourself, as well as an option to dodge? so there's more engagement to gameplay aside from just selecting moves, but it's still turn-based
Pokemon can have up to three types, but they're percentage based. So Dhelmise for example might be 50% Ghost, 30% Steel, and 20% Grass. Percentages change effectiveness so you're not ending up with 5x weaknesses.
Difficulty slider when you start the game. Why has this not been implemented yet??
Rework the entire dex. Longer entries and make sure all data is consistent (Charizard no longer being like 4 ft tall for example).
Voice acting??? literally it's 2021 why are things not voice acted yet. Give the Pokemon more range while you're at it, so they have a hit noise, an attacking noise, ect.
Wild Pokemon appear in the environment, and you have to use different techniques to approach them. Wild battles have a different mechanic than regular battles. (Legends seems to be going this direction maybe?)
A little thing in Pokemon-amie that lets you gain items from your Pokemon once you have a strong enough bond, like the gifts in Neko Atsume
A wider range of Pokemon abilities can be used in the overworld
Play as an adult because why not. Maybe a parent who's child got kidnapped or something??
Maybe a plot wherein the main villain is a Pokemon instead of a villain team, and they're trying to forcibly create a kind of Pokemon rebellion (Pokemon Rebellion would be a sweet title come to think of it)
There's probably more that I'm not thinking of rn but this is long enough as it is
#the point is that pokemon has gotten stagnant af and needs to be rebuilt from the ground up#yeah it'll piss people off but like. that's gonna inevitably happen anyway because you can't please everyone#pokemon#long post#Ask
