I have a reeeeal unreasonable pet peeve with Transformers media where the Cybertronians call themselves "Transformers". I consider it an Earth-made term.

Obviously if, in-context, the Cybertronian is speaking with humans and they adopt the term in acknowledgment it's like this is how Humans identify us.

But if some character who has never been to Earth is like "anyways as a Transformer..." it makes my skin crawl.
