PHIONE AKARI!

A lot of people have commented on the phione that Akari is holding in this post, so I thought I’d share some of these sketches that I’d been holding onto! (It is why I drew her holding one in the first place haha)

Ever since I came up with this fic concept for this, I’ve had this thought on my mind. I’m suprised there’s not a PLA fic about manaphy yet, where it swaps bodies between people and Pokémon. There’s a lot of potential there!

The concept initially had Akari turn into a buizel, but I thought a phione would fit better; its head ribbon reminds me of the back of Akari’s hairstyle!

Just like in the linked fic concept, Akari would have to make her way back from the coastlands to Jubilife somehow, and try to get Ingo to understand that she is now a phione, and needs his help getting her body back.

I’d like to write this as a fic at some point, it’s been in my head for a while!

I'm rotating au so hard where the pla Ingo is just Arceus in disguise. It fully trusts in Akari's power and ability to fix up Hisui but maybe she would benefit from emotional support? Texting may not be sufficient... why not a human form?

Sees Ingo in Nimbasa go dad/uncle mode to any skilled trainers that are teenagers (he has adopted Hilda and Rosa to me) and goes yes! That works nicely!

Arceus manages to feign amnesia and hide under the radar entirely even if Volo's tried to poke around looking for information. Only to the humans tho, the pokemon at minimum know somethings off with this guy and probably sense that's a legend.

It gave itself an Arc-Transciever to match with the arcphone but pretends it barely knows how it works. Akari runs him through the functions like a kid teaching their grandpa and Arceus lets it happen lol.

I have specific ideas for the Volo fight and related events but i think i'll save it for a future post. (Future as in like 5 minutes lmao)

Howdy hello- guess who made a wings au :)

More to come with this eventually- I’m working on my designs for other characters at the moment, but for now we’ve got Red-Tailed Hawk for Curt and Eagle Owl for Owen.

For DMA I had Barn Owl wings because a) Barn Owls are beautiful and I wanted to draw the wings for them, and more importantly, b) Owen would probably want to disguise his wings, and it would make sense if it was as a different type of owl. I just assume he’d dye his feathers in some way or another. Look- just don’t think about it too much.
