It's been a hot minute since I've posted here, but I've been hard at work on making new art and improving my routine. Got a new tablet that's been making drawing way more fun and easy too! So my classmates and I went to an izakaya for our departing teacher's birthday. One girl had picked it because it had great reviews, but the service was a bit slow and they were out of so many things we tried to order that eventually they comped us a surprise flight of tequila shots in tiny mason jars.

After we were all a bit tipsy they proceeded to announce if everyone gave them a five star rating right here and now we'd get free dessert. Ah. 原來如此. Of course our morals were thrown to the alcohol-tinged wind as we unanimously desired deep-fried sweets.

Our middle-aged Japanese businesslady classmate was clearly in her element. At one point, as she was getting into the discussion of everyone's sexuality and dating habits, she ventured that she wanted to ask me a personal question. Oh god, I thought, she's gonna ask me if I'm trans. You can ask but I may not answer, I told her.

Her: 你是一還是零? (Are you a top or a bottom?)

Me, completely taken aback and also relieved it wasn't the other question:

She also got extremely huggy and I was glad I was on the other side of the table. I learned our teacher had been scared of me in the beginning because I was "too serious" and had been very proactive in the coup last semester. I actually liked this teacher all along! (This comes in a long line of people misinterpreting both my facial expressions and fashion choices, so at this point I may have to chalk it up to an ASD thing.) Japanese classmate sneakily paid for everything and then wanted to find another venue to continue the drinking, but we outvoted her in favour of not being hungover for class tomorrow, and went home. I took the bus (even though the MRT is faster) because I really like looking out the window at the lights on the way from Xinyi to Shilin. It's getting Christmassy, I feel like a moth to the fairy-light flame, even though it seems like mainly Christian churches that have extravagant displays. A good time though, a good time.

also im glad to hear this compliment specifically cuz ive been working on giving myself a low-key businesslady type aura. my new fursona (still being worked on, shes not done yet) is super put together and formal but not in a prissy way. in a Put Together way, ya know? like shes got it figured out. like a mom. or rather, like the ideal of what a "Mom" is, i suppose.

the biggest limiting factors right now are clothing. i want nice clothes. not overpriced gucci shit, but stuff that wont disintegrate after wearing it for 3 months. "Investment Pieces" they're called, not because they're bought with the intent for profit, but because you invest a large sum with expectation of long lasting quality, comfort, and shape.

fast fashion is terrible ecologically, and in normalizing clothes as disposable, companies are not only creating tonnes of textile waste, but are also making people accept low standards of garb. regrettably, the pricetags on nice woolen Aran Jumpers, for example, start in the high 200s, and only increase with complexity and craftmanship (as is to be expected). but as someone who has been learning to efficiently shop vintage for the past few years, it is WELL worth it. spending a great deal of care in selecting not only what your clothes look like, but also where and how they are made, is like a buff that grants you a +60% chance of receiving random compliments on your clothes, which also does WONDERS for gender euphoria.

i have been adding to my wardrobe slowly, and i will continue to add to it slowly. not only because that shit is 'spensive and im poor, but also because caution in research yields high rewards.

thats sort of been my plan as ive been going into this. i missed my chance to be hot and 20, thats just not gonna happen cuz it cant. at 20 i was a slob, and i wore baggy clothes, and i was making bad decisions and looking masc while doing it.

but im 25, and i just started taking estrogen. if i ride my second puberty right, and i take the time with learning makeup and being bad at it until im not, and learning how to style my outfits until theyre just the way i like, and develop a hygiene routine and nutrition plan that is both undemanding and tailored to my needs and likes, i FULLY expect to burst into my thirities as the lady that you see at the airport on her phone two gates down from you that you cant help but keep glancing at for the brief 25 minute window you have in her presence until you need to board because she radiates something difficult to describe and beautiful.

i missed the boat on being a sexy college student but i can absolutely be a sexy professor.

Recently in one of the videos I heard this phrase: "We are always someone's point B." There are always those who want to live like us.

Developing in business as a person, financially - we are noticeable, constantly in plain sight. It is normal that negativity begins to form around, but try to focus on the positive, because in fact there are so many people around who are happy for your success and the fact that you try something and do not stand still.

After a year and a half, he revised a lot: goals, priorities, life positions, intentions, inner peace. I'VE CHANGED, I KEEP CHANGING. And I want to show others by my example that everything is possible, I want to be someone's "B" point, motivator, example.

Rejoice in the fact that something doesn't work out - that's how you learn, there is development. Personally, I understood one thing - there are no mistakes, there is experience.

Being in partnership with RC GROUP, I understand that we are building the market, the future of modern information technologies and I see inside my head 🤯 where the company is going, from the very thoughts of goosebumps.

I listen to gaming streams in the background, mostly people who would just do dumb stuff. However, I've recently gotten into ManlyBadassHero and his Let's Plays of indie horror games. His voice is very nice.

Other times, I scroll on Reddit or now Tunglr if I need an actual break. Sometimes I'll make a post just to untangle my brain from all the law and politics I've been dealing with. r/angryupvote is my favorite sub-reddit, and r/MurderedByWords is usually hilarious.

I used to sing a lot. Haven't really sung much since everything. Haha I'm probably completely out of practice. It probably won't fit my image anymore either as a corporate businesslady.
