Do you have a source for that Washington Post tweet with the list of billionaires funding that bill to change public opinion regarding Palestinian genocide. The one that included higher ups at Dell and Starbucks etc? I don't doubt it but I'd like to get more info and googling is NOT helping rn
according to the wp article :
it's a what's app chat group , here is te quote :
"People with direct access to the chat log’s contents supplied them to The Post. They shared the information on the condition of anonymity because the chat’s contents were meant to stay private. Members of the group verified the chat’s existence and their comments."
but the article included those names :
A group of billionaires and business titans working to shape U.S. public opinion of the war in Gaza privately pressed New York City’s mayor last month to send police to disperse pro-Palestinian protests at Columbia University, according to communications obtained by The Washington Post and people familiar with the group.
Business executives including Kind snack company founder Daniel Lubetzky, hedge fund manager Daniel Loeb, billionaire Len Blavatnik and real estate investor Joseph Sitt held a Zoom video call on April 26 with Mayor Eric Adams (D), about a week after the mayor first sent New York police to Columbia’s campus, a log of chat messages shows.
The chat was initiated by a staffer for billionaire and real estate magnate Barry Sternlicht
[..]
The messages describing the call with Adams were among thousands logged in a WhatsApp chat among some of the nation’s most prominent business leaders and financiers, including former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz, Dell founder and CEO Michael Dell, hedge fund manager Bill Ackman and Joshua Kushner, founder of Thrive Capital and brother of Jared Kushner, former president Donald Trump’s son-in-law.

For my American Friends
I feel now is a good time to spread this news. Much like how the internet came together to help share information with the Ukrainians for resisting Russia, I’m here delivering help of a similar nature to those that could be impacted by this latest election in the US. There are ways to communicate relatively securely, outside of Big Brother's social media. I bring this up so that we can minimize the amount of gatherable information that could be used to hurt you, or others you know, in the coming years as changes are made. I'm not going to tell you how or why to use them, I'm just going to provide you with the information.
WhatsApp – While not my personal favorite, since Facebook/Meta is the parent company, WhatsApp is free, globally popular, and widely-used, featuring the ability to lock chats with passwords, disappearing messages, photos and videos that are deleted after being opened, profile photo privacy, the ability to lock the app itself so that only your biometrics can unlock it, encrypted backups, the ability to set custom permissions for who can see you online or when you last used the app, and of course End-to-End Encryption for all conversations EXCEPT those with business accounts. WhatsApp is a good option for those who are not really technically savvy, but still value privacy – if one trusts Facebook/Meta to adequately protect their privacy. It does require a phone number to sign up, however.
Signal - Signal is an end-to-end encrypted messaging software. meaning that the contents of your conversation is secure. The protocol they use (which they created) is seen as the best known protocol for asynchronous messaging by cybersecurity researchers. It's so good that it has been implemented in WhatsApp and in Messenger's secret chats. This app has even been mentioned in the Right-wing author Jack Carr's Political Thriller about a Navy SEAL named James Reece, as being a preferred method of secure communication on the civilian side for operators. (Jack Carr is a former US Navy SEAL.) It's run by a Non-Profit organization called Signal Foundation, and it's mission is to "protect free expression and enable secure global communication through open source privacy technology." It allows secure messaging, voice calls, and video calls. The only downside is that app links to your phone number, so while your conversations and content are secure, who you are talking to is not. Signal is available on Windows, Mac, Andriod, Linus, and iOS.
Session - Session is an end-to-end encrypted messenger that minimises sensitive metadata, designed and built for people who want absolute privacy and freedom from any form of surveillance. Session is an open-source, public-key-based secure messaging application which uses a set of decentralized storage servers and an onion routing protocol to send end-to-end encrypted messages with minimal exposure of user metadata. This means no phone numbers, no metadata for digital footprints, and censorship resistance. It features group chats, the ability to send documents, files, and images securely, and has added voice messages, though these can be spotty. It’s slow, but effective, and be downloaded on Android, F-Droid, iPhone, Mac, Windows, and Linux.
Briar - If you have an Android phone, Briar is another option you have. It features a decentralized network (it’s peer-to-peer encrypted, rather than relying on a central server), meaning messages are synced directly between user devices. It also means that even if the internet is down, it can sync via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or even memory cards, meaning information can continue to flow even during a crisis. In the event the internet is functioning, it can sync via the Tor network, protecting users and their relationships from surveillance. Other features: - Screenshots and screen recording are disabled by default - Each user’s contact list is encrypted and stored on her own device. - Briar’s end-to-end encryption prevents keyword filtering, and because of its decentralized design there are no servers to block. - Every user who subscribes to a forum keeps a copy of its content, so there’s no single point where a post can be deleted. - Briar’s forums have no central server to attack, and every subscriber has access to the content even if they’re offline. - Doesn’t require any user data like name and phone number. The downside is that it is text-only and limited to Android Devices, but they do offer Briar Mailbox to deliver messages securely to those who are online at different times. Briar’s goal is “to enable people in any country to create safe spaces where they can debate any topic, plan events, and organize social movements”
Protonmail - A free end-to-end encrypted AND zero-access encryption email service based out of Switzerland, you can safely email with peace of mind that your content is secure. Unlike Google, Outlook, Yahoo, and others, Proton's zero-access encryption means they can't even view the contents of your emails or attachments. As a Swiss-owned company they are not allowed to share information with foreign law enforcement under criminal penalty and they are politically neutral, meaning they won't be pressured by foreign governments. Furthermore, Switzerland has a constitutional right to privacy and strict data protection laws. Unlike companies in other countries, Proton cannot be compelled by foreign or Swiss authorities to engage in bulk surveillance.
Additional Information, from Proton’s Website: Switzerland has strong legal protections for individual rights, and in fact the Swiss Federal Constitution(new window) explicitly establishes a constitutional right to privacy. (In the US, this right is merely implied.) Specifically, Article 13 safeguards privacy in personal or family life and within one’s home, and the Swiss Civil Code(new window) translates this right into statutory law in Article 28.
In the US and EU, authorities can issue gag orders to prevent an individual from knowing they are being investigated or under surveillance. While this type of order also exists in Switzerland, the prosecutors have an obligation to notify the target of surveillance, and the target has an opportunity to appeal in court. In Switzerland, there are no such things as national security letters(new window), and all surveillance requests must go through the courts. Warrantless surveillance, like that practiced in the US where the FBI conducts 3.4 million searches per year(new window) with little oversight, is illegal and not permitted in Switzerland.
Switzerland also benefits from a unique legal provision with Article 271 of the Swiss Criminal Code(new window), which forbids any Swiss company from assisting foreign law enforcement, under threat of criminal penalty. While Switzerland is party to certain international legal assistance agreements, all requests under such agreements must hold up under Swiss law, which has much stricter privacy provisions. All foreign requests are assessed by the Swiss government, which generally does not assist requests from countries with poor rule of law or lack an independent judiciary.
Swiss law has several more unique points. First, it preserves end-to-end encryption, and unlike in the US, UK, or EU, there is no legislation that has been introduced or considered to limit the right to encryption. Second, Swiss law protects no-logs VPN(new window) meaning that Proton VPN does not have logging obligations. While numerous VPNs claim no-logs, these claims generally do not stand up legally because in most jurisdictions, governments can request that the VPN in question starts logging. So the VPN is only no-logs until the government asks. However, in Switzerland, the law does not allow the government to compel Proton VPN to start logging.
We’ve also fought to ensure that Switzerland remains a legal jurisdiction that respects and protects privacy.
Nearly every country in the world has laws governing lawful interception of electronic communications for law enforcement purposes. In Switzerland, these regulations are set out in the Swiss Federal Act on the Surveillance of Post and Telecommunications (SPTA), which was last revised on March 18, 2018. In May 2020, we challenged a decision of the Swiss government over what we believed was an improper attempt to use telecommunications laws to undermine privacy.
In October 2021, The Swiss Federal Administrative Court ultimately agreed with us and ruled that email companies cannot be considered telecommunication providers. This means Proton isn’t required to follow any of the SPTA’s mandatory data retention rules, nor are we bound by a full obligation to identify Proton Mail users. Moreover, as a Swiss company, Proton Mail cannot be compelled to engage in bulk surveillance on behalf of US or Swiss intelligence agencies. (Links can be found at: proton.me/blog/switzerland)

Most scammers and cybercriminals operate in the digital shadows and don’t want you to know how they make money. But that’s not the case for the Yahoo Boys, a loose collective of young men in West Africa who are some of the web’s most prolific—and increasingly dangerous—scammers.
Thousands of people are members of dozens of Yahoo Boy groups operating across Facebook, WhatsApp, and Telegram, a WIRED analysis has found. The scammers, who deal in types of fraud that total hundreds of millions of dollars each year, also have dozens of accounts on TikTok, YouTube, and the document-sharing service Scribd that are getting thousands of views.
Inside the groups, there’s a hive of fraudulent activity with the cybercriminals often showing their faces and sharing ways to scam people with other members. They openly distribute scripts detailing how to blackmail people and how to run sextortion scams—that have driven people to take their own lives—sell albums with hundreds of photographs, and advertise fake social media accounts. Among the scams, they’re also using AI to create fake “nude” images of people and real-time deepfake video calls.
The Yahoo Boys don’t disguise their activity. Many groups use “Yahoo Boys” in their name as well as other related terms. WIRED’s analysis found 16 Yahoo Boys Facebook groups with almost 200,000 total members, a dozen WhatsApp channels, around 10 Telegram channels, 20 TikTok accounts, a dozen YouTube accounts, and more than 80 scripts on Scribd. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Broadly, the companies do not allow content on their platforms that encourages or promotes criminal behavior. The majority of the Yahoo Boys accounts and groups WIRED identified were removed after we contacted the companies about the groups’ overt existence. Despite these removals, dozens more Yahoo Boys groups and accounts remain online.
“They’re not hiding under different names,” says Kathy Waters, the cofounder and executive director of the nonprofit Advocating Against Romance Scammers, which has tracked the Yahoo Boys for years. Waters says the social media companies are essentially providing the Yahoo Boys with “free office space” to organize and conduct their activities. “They’re selling scripts, selling photos, identifications of people, all online, all on the social media platforms,” she says. “Why these accounts still remain is beyond me.”
The Yahoo Boys aren’t a single, organized group. Instead, they’re a collection of thousands of scammers who work individually or in clusters. Often based in Nigeria, their name comes from formerly targeting users of Yahoo services, with links back to the Nigerian Prince email scams of old. Groups in West Africa can be often organized in various confraternities, which are cultish gangs.
“Yahoo is a set of knowledge that allows you to conduct scams,” says Gary Warner, the director of intelligence at DarkTower and director of the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Computer Forensics Research Laboratory. While there are different levels of sophistication of Yahoo Boys, Warner says, many simply operate from their phones. “Most of these threat actors are only using one device,” he says.
The Yahoo Boys run dozens of scams—from romance fraud to business email compromise. When making contact with potential victims, they’ll often “bomb” people by sending hundreds of messages to dating app accounts or Facebook profiles. “They will say anything they can in order to get the next dime in their pocket,” Waters says.
Searching for the Yahoo Boys on Facebook brings up two warnings: Both say the results may be linked to fraudulent activity, which isn’t allowed on the website. Clicking through the warnings reveals Yahoo Boy groups with thousands of members—one had more than 70,000.
Within the groups—alongside posts selling SIM cards and albums with hundreds of pictures—many of the scammers push people toward other messaging platforms such as Meta’s WhatsApp or Telegram. Here, the Yahoo Boys are at their most bold. Some groups and channels on the two platforms receive hundreds of posts per day and are part of their wider web of operations.
After WIRED asked Facebook about the 16 groups we identified, the company removed them, and some WhatsApp groups were deactivated. “Scammers use every platform available to them to defraud people and constantly adapt to avoid getting caught,” says Al Tolan, a Meta spokesperson. They did not directly address the accounts that were removed or that they were easy to find. “Purposefully exploiting others for money is against our policies, and we take action when we become aware of it,” Tolan says. “We continue to invest in technology and cooperate with law enforcement so they can prosecute scammers. We also actively share tips on how people can protect themselves, their accounts, and avoid scams.”
Groups on Telegram were removed after WIRED messaged the company’s press office; however, the platform did not respond about why it had removed them.
Across all types of social media, Yahoo Boys scammers share “scripts” that they use to socially manipulate people—these can run to thousands of words long and can be copied and pasted to different victims. Many have been online for years. “I’ve seen some scripts that are 30 and 60 layers deep, before the scammer actually would have to go and think of something else to say,” says Ronnie Tokazowski, the chief fraud fighter at Intelligence for Good, which works with cybercrime victims. “It’s 100 percent how they'll manipulate the people,” Tokazowski says.
Among the many scams, they pretend to be military officers, people offering “hookups,” the FBI, doctors, and people looking for love. One “good morning” script includes around a dozen messages the scammers can send to their targets. “In a world full of deceit and lies, I feel lucky when see the love in your eyes. Good morning,” one says. But things get much darker.
The Yahoo Boys have been behind a recent wave of sextortion across the United States and elsewhere, says Paul Raffile, an intelligence analyst at the Network Contagion Research Institute who is closely tracking the criminals. Broadly speaking, during sextortion, a scammer will use intimate or explicit images to try to get someone to pay them money. “The Yahoo Boys are the principal threat actor behind the surge of sextortion that we’re seeing over the past 18 months,” Raffile says. “They are responsible for forcing dozens of teens to suicide.”
In a series of posts in one Telegram channel, highlighted by Warner, who is also involved in Intelligence for Good, one cybercriminal can be seen walking others through how to run a sextortion scam. They say they tricked people into sharing nude images—posting screenshots of the conversation—and explained ways other people can replicate it. “Hey I am posting your naked pictures on social media and Facebook,” says a sample message cybercriminals could use. “Am not just posting it am sending copies of it to your area,” the message says, before demanding $700.
While the scripts like these are shared on all social media channels, WIRED found at least 80 on the document-sharing service Scribd. The company removed them after WIRED got in touch, with a spokesperson saying there are limits on what people can upload and that the company has automated and manual reviews to remove content. “We’re actively building out new capabilities to broaden the scope of content moderation coverage to include a wider range of concerning text and image violations,” the spokesperson says. Some of the scripts had been online since 2020, and on pages where they were removed a “reading suggestions” section recommended other scam scripts.
Raffile says the Yahoo Boys have been able to “thrive” online “due to lack of moderation around all the illicit material” that they’re sharing. “They’re acting with impunity because they feel they will never get caught,” Raffile says.
Beyond the messaging platforms, the Yahoo Boys have a presence on TikTok and YouTube. “We design our app to be inhospitable to those who seek to exploit our community and we’ve removed this content for violating our policies,” a TikTok spokesperson says.
“Our policies prohibit spam, scams, or other deceptive practices that take advantage of the YouTube community,” a YouTube spokesperson says. “We also prohibit videos that encourage illegal or dangerous activities. As such, we have terminated the flagged channels for violating our policies and our terms of service.” They add that the company removed accounts for breaching policies about harmful content, spam, and generally violating its terms of service.
The accounts posted tutorials about how to scam people, link to groups on messaging apps, and promote technology for fake video calls. On TikTok, multiple accounts include carousels of images that the scammers can use in their efforts to create believable personas. Some of these include posts of elderly women for scammers who are in “need of grandma pictures for proof” of their fake identities and others for scammers who “need kids pics” for their victims.
As well as being a threat to thousands of people around the world, the Yahoo Boys can be quick to adopt new technologies. David Maimon, a professor at Georgia State University and the head of fraud insights at the identity-verification firm SentiLink, has monitored Yahoo Boys for years and says their techniques have evolved alongside new technologies.
“To build rapport with victims, the fraudsters first used text messages, then started sending recorded audio messages, to now using deepfake tools to communicate with victims live,” Maimon says. “On some of the markets we now also see the use of cloned voices. It is now accompanied with sending physical items to victims such as presents, food deliveries, and flowers.” Within some groups, they use “nudification” tools to turn photos of people clothed into nude photos, and deepfake video calls.
While the Yahoo Boys have been active for years, all the experts spoken to for this piece say they should be treated more seriously by social media companies and law enforcement. “It’s time that we start looking at Yahoo Boys as a dangerous organization, transnational organized crime, and start giving it some of those labels,” Raffile says.

Chapter 1: Hatchling in the Nest
“Clear blue water
High tide came and brought you in
And I could go on and on, on and on, and I will…” ~ Taylor Swift
Bryce
2019 ~  26 years old
Bryce hit the gas, his car speeding up despite the 20 mph speed limit sign. He was itching to get to one of the last, if not the last parking spot of Edenbrook Hospital, and he noticed another driver eyeing the spot. He blew past the car, nearly hitting another car, a luxury sedan, in the process – whose driver looked mildly annoyed – before sliding into the parking space and shutting off the engine.
The driver of the first car looked at him furiously, before driving deeper into the parking lot in  search of another empty space. Meanwhile, the luxury sedan pulled up into a reserved parking spot that read Dr. Ethan Ramsey.
Shit, Bryce thought, but couldn’t help but chuckle. I almost hit an attending… Almost. He grinned, raising a hand in apology to the attending.
Dr. Ramsey narrowed his eyes, rolled them and shook his head slightly, before locking his car and going inside.
Bryce chuckled, and pulled his phone from its car holder. It was 5:45 a.m. and in the span of the last half hour, his phone had blown up with messages. There was a message from Alex, his best friend, wishing him good luck today. He smiled a genuine smile before texting Alex back.
There were also almost fifty messages in the “Edenbrook Surgical Interns” group that he’d joined a few days ago. Of course, none of them had actually ever met before – they’d all meet today – but he’d found the link to the whatsapp group on the Facebook group that someone had created for the 2019 generation of surgical interns in Edenbrook Hospital. So far, he’d talked to several people, and most seemed pretty nice. Bryce still knew they were his competition, but hey, it couldn’t hurt to be friendly. Anyhow, right now, several people were asking for directions, a couple others were already at the hospital and asking if anyone wanted to meet up so as to not go in alone… Bryce grinned and shook his head, wondering if anyone who was scared to go in alone was actually cut out to be a surgeon… before reminding himself not to judge and keep it friendly. Those who’d make the cut will make the cut, and those who won’t… It wasn’t his business. He’d make the cut and he knew it.
Bryce grinned and answered a couple of texts, before going to meet up with a couple of the interns who were by the basketball court. He got out of his car, shooting a grin at a couple nurses who were outside having a smoke and looking at him curiously – or at least, he thought they were nurses by the color of their scrubs. One of them rolled her eyes good naturedly, and the other grinned at him back.
He chuckled before making his way to the basketball court, and found a small group of seven or eight surgical interns chatting. He stepped up, introduced himself and shook hands with a couple of them. He immediately memorized a couple of names and faces. There was Rosa, who looked pretty serious and professional in her white blouse and blue-green blazer, and was one the few that shook his hand hard. As far as first impressions go, he thought she would probably be his biggest competition. There was also Thomas, who looked pretty friendly, clapping Bryce’s before adjusting his glasses that had slipped down his nose.  The others didn’t make much of an impression.
They talked for a while, before someone suggested a friendly game of ball to get rid of the first day jitters. Bryce looked at his phone and since they still had time before orientation he agreed to a game. Thomas also joined, and two other interns whose names Bryce had already forgotten. Oh well, I’ll learn them during the year anyway, he guessed. Anyhow, between the four of them, they had enough players for a friendly game of two on two.
Bryce paired up with Thomas and the other two interns paired up, and the game began. One of the other interns had the ball and passed it to his teammate, but Bryce swooped in and took it. He feinted a pass to Thomas, and the other rushed at Thomas in an attempt to block him. In that moment, Bryce seamlessly turned, ran closer to the hoop and scored.
“Whoo!” He raised his arms, and Thomas ran to clap him high five.
A few of the other surgical interns watching cheered or clapped.
“1-0!” Thomas yelled.
The other interns laughed good naturedly, and the friendly game continued until Rosa yelled from the sidelines, “Guys! It’s 6:30! We’re going inside to register, get out I.D.’s and change!”
“Cool! Cool, cool, cool!” Thomas yelled.
“Raincheck?” One of the other interns asked.
They all nodded.
Yeah, let’s go with them. Don’t wanna be late.” Bryce yelled.
Once inside, they were greeted by a tall, blond and blue eyed senior resident. “Fresh meat!” She chuckled. “I mean, interns! Welcome to the party. I won’t ask your names, or bother to learn them, because most of you probably won’t be here by the end of the year. My name’s Dr. Constance Davenport and I’m in charge of babysitting you this year. Now, come on, this way. I’ll take you to get your I.D.’s then show you to the locker room.”
Bryce grinned, not at all offended by her attitude. Some of his fellow interns were already grumbling or rolling their eyes at her, but Bryce knew that in this field, in this hospital, in this program, that level of confidence had to be backed up by talent. So the fact that she was that cocky meant she was probably that good, and she’d fricking earned it.
Anyhow, he followed his resident, got his picture taken and told her his name.
“Lahela… Hawaiian?” Dr. Davenport asked.
“Yep. Born and raised.”
Davenport nodded. “Huh… Let’s hope you make it, Lahela.” She tossed him his I.D. with a challenging grin. Then she looked back and saw that the line of interns had somehow gotten longer and sighed. Then she looked back to the group of interns who’d already had their I.D.’s and were waiting off to the side, and sighed. “Okay, I’m not going to have time to get you all your I.D.’s and show you around and stuff, so you…” She pointed to Bryce, Rosa, Thomas and their group. “The locker rooms are from this hall, through that waiting room, then you take a left, a right, another left and you’ll see it. Go.”
The surgical interns looked at each other and went on their way. Thomas, who claimed he had a good sense of direction, led the way. He actually did and soon they were in the locker room. Bryce pulled out his phone to check his Notes app, where he had written his locker number. He also took a clean towel from a towel rack nearby and went to his locker, which was right next to a cute Indian girl’s locker, mercilessly shoving a vintage leather jacket into her locker. As she saw him approaching, she looked him up and down critically.
He gestured to his locker and shot her a charming grin. “Hey. Looks like we’re neighbors. Bryce Lahela. Surgical intern.”
She merely looked at his hand. “A scalpel jockey, huh?” The corners of her lips twitched, and Bryce knew this was friendly banter. “Jackie Varma. Internal medicine.”
“You’re one of those, huh?” Bryce smiled teasingly.
“One of the actual intelligent doctors? Damn right.” She grinned right back.
Bryce immediately liked her.
Jackie sniffed the air. “You should shower before orientation, scalpel jockey.”
“Do you want me to take my shirt off? I mean, since we’re locker neighbors, you’ll have plenty of time to admire all this.” He gestured to himself.
Jackie did not seem amused as she rolled her eyes. “Oh, joy, all of my dreams have come true.” She said in a bored, monotone voice.
Bryce laughed, before grabbing his towel and heading in for a quick shower. He’d worked up a sweat during their brief basketball game.
After a quick scrub, he wrapped a towel around his waist and headed back to his locker, where he saw Jackie was already terrorizing someone else: a tall woman, clearly another intern, with long black hair that was dyed red at the ends.
“... How’d you make it through med school without ever seeing a bra before?”
“I’m sorry!” Bryce heard this other intern say as he approached them. “I just wasn’t expecting–”
The woman turned, bumping into his chest. Bryce chuckled, steading her by placing his hands on her shoulders. “Go easy on her, Jackie. It’s the first day for all of us.”
For some reason, Bryce felt the woman tense immediately, and he briefly thought that maybe she didn’t like to be touched. But then she looked up, and he saw a very, very familiar face staring back at him, sending his heart into overdrive.
“Sam?!”

1999 ~ 6 years old
"Bryce! Get down here, please!" His mother, Anita, yelled from downstairs. "Come meet Luna!"
Bryce looked up from his pull-back car -- or rather, his pull-back car parts. He hadn’t broken it. Not exactly. It’d just stopped working, and Bryce had wanted to figure out why. And what better way to do that than take it apart? But so far, he’d been on it for most of the morning, and he still couldn’t really figure out why. When he’d taken it apart, he was excited to find all these little gears inside, all different colors and connected to each other, and this metallic spring inside that he still wasn't sure what it did exactly…
“Bryce!”
The little boy got up with a sigh, and stood up. He’d come back and fix his toy car later. Better go see what Mom wanted now. She got annoyed when she had to repeat herself. And so he made his way down the stairs, only to find his mother sitting down on the couch next to a woman he’d never seen before. The woman was small, with long blond hair tied back in a braid, but what Bryce liked most were her eyes. She had pretty green eyes...
“Bryce! There you are! Didn’t you hear me calling?” His mom stood, the lady following her lead.
“Sorry.” Bryce mumbled.
“It’s okay, hon. Come meet Luna.” Anita smiled and gestured to the woman… Luna.
Luna smiled at him and knelt down to his eye level. “Hello, Bryce. I’m Luna.”
Bryce smiled back at her, his “megawatt smile” as Mom would say, before stepping up. “Hi, Luna. Who are you?”
Luna looked up to his mom, chuckling.
“Luna is our new housekeeper,” Anita told him. “She’s going to be helping me with the house, the cooking, the cleaning…”
“But Mom, you don’t do any of those things.” Bryce said.
Both women laughed for some reason he didn’t really understand -- he’d said nothing but the truth -- but he smiled, anyway. Maybe he was just funny.
“Well… he’s got a point there.” Anita smiled at him and ran a hand through his hair.
“Children. Mine also just blurt out whatever goes through their heads.” Luna agreed, laughing brightly, before turning back to Bryce. “How old are you, Bryce?”
He raised his whole hand with his five fingers outstretched, like the big boy he was. “Five.” He said proudly.
Luna’s eyes widened excitedly. “Five?! No!”
“Yep!” He nodded eagerly.
“Guess what?! I have two kids and my kids are five, too!” Luna told him, dropping her jaw.
“Hear that, Bryce? You’ll have two new friends!” Anita told him, and he nodded eagerly. She lowered her voice, but Bryce heard her anyway. “I’m so happy we found you and your husband. Not just because of the jobs, but when you told us you had twins the same age as him… He gets so lonely here in this big house. He doesn’t really have many chances to socialize with other children his age, other than the occasional playdate.”
Luna laughed, and gently patted Anita’s arm. “Oh, well. My twins are a handful but I’m sure they’re going to get along just fine.” She turned back to Bryce. “Bryce, would you like to meet Sam and Alex?”
“Okay!” Bryce nodded, reaching for Luna's outstretched hand.
He took Luna’s hand with one of his and his mother’s hand in the other, and let both women lead him to the smaller house that was behind his. This house wasn’t really that small, it was just that his house was so big. It had a big backyard for him to play in, and a pool, and farther away it even had stables where the horses slept in.
Sometimes Bryce got lonely in his house, though. It was really big and had a lot of fun places inside and outside, but he always had to play alone because his mom and dad were always working, and Lucy had… Returned? Retried? Bryce couldn’t remember what his mother had said. Anyway, she had gotten older and she had to stop working in his house. That had made Bryce a bit sad, since Lucy always played with him when she wasn’t busy.
But now, his mom had found Luna, and Luna had two kids he would be able to play with! Bryce was really excited. He always wanted a brother, but his mom always said no. Maybe he could ask Luna’s kids to be his brothers. And instead of only one, he would have two now!
“Bryce,” Luna told him, squeezing his hand slightly when they came upon the small house.
There was a car and a truck parked outside, and a big man with black hair was carrying a giant box down from the truck like it weighed nothing. He set it down when he saw them, and walked towards them, nodding at his mom. "Mrs. Lahela."
"Jack." His mom nodded back.
Up close, he looked even bigger! He was bigger than his dad! Bryce was pretty sure this was the biggest man he'd ever seen. He hoped he would grow up to be as big when he got older.
The man, Jack, caught him staring and smiled. Like Luna, he knelt down to Bryce's eye level. "And who is this?"
"I'm Bryce!"
"It's nice to meet you, Bryce."
The man offered Bryce his giant hand, but Bryce wasn't scared and he shook it like he'd seen his dad do. The man's palm engulfed his hand, but he still shook it as hard as he could.
"I'm Jack."
"Jack is my husband, and the twins' father. He’s going to be your family’s driver too." Luna added.
Bryce nodded. "Hi, Jack. Are you going to drive me to school?"
Jack laughed. “Yes, Bryce, I am.”
"Honey, where are the kids? I wanted them to meet Bryce." Luna told him.
Jack smiled one last time at Bryce, before standing back up. "They're upstairs. Want me to go get them?"
"Please. Thanks, love." Luna nodded with a gentle smile.
Jack nodded and winked at Bryce, before going inside. Bryce watched him walk away -- he looked so cool! -- and tried to wink, too. He closed both eyes, scrunching them up a couple of times, before finally getting the wink right. He hoped he looked as cool as Jack did.
A few moments later, Jack finally came out, holding out a boy's hand… and a girl's. The boy had blond hair just like Luna, while the little girl had long black hair like Jack.
Bryce raised his eyebrows, confused. Sam and Alex were boys' names…
"Bryce… this is Sam," Jack raised his hand, dangling the little girl's arms as she looked shyly at Bryce. "And this is Alex." Jack repeated the motion with his son.
Alex waved excitedly with his other hand.
"But Sam's a boy's name." Bryce blurted out.
"No, it's not!" The girl, Sam, glared at him, her shyness forgotten at the insult. "It's short for Samantha! Samantha Keilani Shepard!"
All the grown ups laughed, while Samantha glared at him, pouting.
Samantha.
Bryce had never heard of that name. It was a big name. It was too big for such a little girl. No wonder they'd shortened it to Sam.
"Heh. Easy, Sammy. Bryce probably didn't know that." Jack squeezed her hand softly, smiling down at him.
"Sorry, Samantha." Bryce mumbled. His mom squeezed his hand reassuringly.
Sam let out a sigh, before her gaze softened. "It's okay… You can call me Sam, if you want.”
Bryce smiled at that. He liked Sam. Samantha was too long for her. “Okay, Sam.”
“What’s your name?” She asked.
“Bryce.”
“Bryce…” Sam repeated.
“I like it. Sounds cool.” The boy, Alex, said.
“Do you want to be friends, Bryce?” Sam asked softly, looking a bit shy again.
Bryce brightened up instantly. "Sure!"
"Cool! Wanna see my room?! It’s upstairs." Alex asked.
"Okay!"
"You can see mine next!" Sam added.
"Mom, can I invite them to our house so they can see my room too?" Bryce asked, looking up at his mother hopefully.
She chuckled, before nodding. "Of course, baby."
"Thanks, mom! Do you guys wanna come to my house after? You can see my room, and then the pool…"
"You have a pool?!" Alex asked, his jaw dropping.
"Yeah! A big pool!"
"Come on, let's go!" Sam took Bryce's hand. Alex took her other hand, and she began leading them both inside.
Bryce followed them, very happy with his new friends. Even if one of them had turned out to be a girl instead of a boy, Bryce still had a feeling they'd all get along just fine.

'Taylor Swift fans are at it again. The superstar surprised the music world during the Grammy Awards on Sunday night by announcing the release of a new album, The Tortured Poet's Department, and the internet quickly got to work in trying to pick apart the 'secret meaning' behind the title.
Fingers immediately started pointing toward British actor Joe Alwyn, who dated Swift from 2017 until 2023. What people weren't expecting, however, was for Irish actors Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott to somehow get caught up in the mix.
But Swifties work in mysterious ways, and within hours a group of them had tracked down an old video of Alwyn and Mescal discussing a Whatsapp group they used to have with Scott. The name of the group chat? Tortured Man Club.
Mescal, a Co Kildare native, brought up the chat during an interview he and Alwyn had with Variety in 2022. Scott, from Dublin, apparently started the group after Alwyn was cast in Conversations With Friends.
"What's the name of the Whatsapp group we were in? Tortured Man Club," Mescal says to Alwyn in a video of the interview. The pair laugh and make jokes about Scott before Alwyn reveals that they had stopped using the chat. "It hasn't had much use recently," he says, to which Mescal jokes: "I feel like were less tortured now."
Alwyn also spoke about the group with GQ that year, saying that the name was a reference to his and Mescal's characters in Normal People and Conversations With Friends, which were both adaptations of Sally Rooney novels. He reached out to Mescal and met him in Dublin after the group chat was made, presumably to get his advice on playing a Rooney character.
Now, some Taylor Swift fans are saying they hope he can still lean on the chat - even if it is no longer in use. Clips of the interview have been circulating on a variety of social media platforms since Swift dropped the album name, and many seem convinced that The Tortured Poets Department is a direct reference to the chat.
"Taylor’s new album being called The Tortured Poet Department when I know Joe alwyn was in a group chat with Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott called the Tortured Man Club," one X user wrote. Another said: "Finding out Joe Alwyn was in a group chat called the Tortured Man’s Club is my villain origin story."
Another fan quipped: "I hope for Joe's sake that he still has that group chat. I feel like he's gonna need it."
The breakup between Alwyn and Swift was reportedly amicable, and her new romance with NFL star Travis Kelce has been highly publicized. However, many expect the new album to have some digs at Alwyn - and Swifites will no doubt be busy drawing conclusions again when it drops on April 19. Let's just hope this is the last Mescal and Scott have to do with it.'

What does cloning a website means?
To make a copy
Cloning a website means copying or modifying the design or script of an existing website to create a new website. Website cloning allows a designer to create a website without writing scripts from scratch.
Any website can be cloned. You are also free to integrate some additional new features while cloning your website.
Cloning a website is one of the proven methods you can use to learn web development faster. It provides basic to advanced ideas about how websites work and work, and how to integrate them.
Let’s learn how to clone a website just using HTML5 and CSS in a simple way.
Will take an example of WhatsApp Website and will clone it.
WhatsApp is a free cross-platform messaging service. iPhone and Android smartphone, Mac and Windows PC users can call or exchange text, photo, voice and video messages with anyone in the world for free, regardless of the recipient's device. WhatsApp uses Wi-Fi connections to communicate across platforms. This differs from Apple iMessage and Messages by Google, which require a cellular network and Short Message Service (SMS).
Key WhatsApp Terminology

HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) –
HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language that is standard markup language to create web pages and web-based applications
It represents the structure of a web page
It comprises of series of elements which tells the browser how to display the content
Basic Structure of a HTML Document –
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
    <title>WhatsApp Clone</title>
</head>
<body>
    <h1>let's learn Web Development</h1>
    <p>My first project - WhatsApp Cloning</p>
</body>
</html>
Let’s Explain the above code –
- It is used to defines that the document is HTML5 document
- It is the root elements on an HTML Page
- It contains all the meta information about the HTML Page
- This element contains all the visible content of the page, such as paragraph, headlines, tables, list, etc.
- It defines the largest heading for any topic, it ranges from -
- It defines a paragraph in the HTML page
Elements –
It is the collection of start and end tag, and in between content is inserted between them.
It major components are–
Opening Tag – Used to tell the browser where the content starts.
Closing Tag – Used to tell the browser where the content material ends.
Content – Whatever written inside the opening and closing tag is content.
Some Most Commonly used tags are –
– Used to define a document or section, as it contains information related to titles and heading of related content.
– The navigation tag is used to declare navigation sections in HTML documents. Websites typically have a section dedicated to navigation links that allows users to move around the site

It is standardized across Web Browsers and is one of the core languages of the open web system/technology.
CSS Selector –
CSS Selectors are used to select or target the element that you want to style. Selectors are part of the CSS ruleset. CSS selectors select HTML elements by ID, class, type, attributes, etc.
Types of CSS Selectors –
Element Selector – It selects the HTML elements directly using name
ID Selector – It selects the id attribute of an element. ID is always unique, in the code. So, it is used to target and apply design to a specific or a unique element.
Class Selector - It selects the class attribute of an element. Unlike ID selector class selectors can be same of many elements.
Universal Selector – It selects all the elements of the webpage, and apply changes to it.
Group Selector – It is used when same style is to be applied on many elements. It helps in non-duplication of code.
Different ways of applying CSS -
CSS can be applied in different ways –
Inline CSS –
Styling is done using different attributed inside an element itself. It can be used to apply unique style for a single element.
<h1 style="color:blue;">Let's learn Web Development</h1>
Internal CSS –
It is defined or written within the <style> element, nested instead <head> section of HTML document.
It is mainly used when need to apply CSS on a particular page.
<style type="text/css">
    h1 {
      color:blue;
    }
</style>
External CSS –
It is used to apply CSS on multiple pages. As all the styling is written in a different file with an extension “.css” Example style.css.
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="style.css">
It is written instead head tag.
For more detailed guide – Click here
Let’s implement the above learnt concepts –
In this example will clone a static page of WhatsApp using Internal CSS-

Digital Marketing || Types of Digital Marketing & their short introduction
Technology field consists of various things. Among these Digital Marketing is one of them. Let’s read What is Digital Marketing? What are it’s sections & what are the benefits of Digital Marketing.
Tumblr media
What is Digital Marketing? Digital marketing is defined as the use of digital channels to promote a product or service. The goal of this approach is to connect with customers online—the place where they spend the most time seeking information or entertainment.
Digital marketing is a broad practice, simply because there are so many online channels available. Posting on social media is a form of digital marketing, as are email marketing and blogging. Together, the promotional content on these various platforms forms a cohesive online marketing strategy. Whether you are focusing on event marketing or creating an email subscriber list, digital marketing is an incredible important facet.
What are the types or sections of Digital marketing? Digital marketing has various sections like-
Social Media Marketing (Facebook, What’sApp, Linked In, YouTube, Instagram):
Social media marketing refers to the practice of using various social media platforms, such as Facebook, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram, to promote products, services, or brands and engage with a target audience.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the practice of optimizing a website and its content to improve its visibility and organic (unpaid) rankings in search engine results pages (SERPs). The goal of SEO is to attract more organic traffic from search engines by ensuring that a website appears higher in the search results for relevant keywords and phrase.
Email Marketing:
Email marketing refers to the practice of using email as a marketing tool to send targeted messages to a group of individuals or subscribers. It involves building an email list or database of contacts who have voluntarily provided their email addresses and have expressed interest in receiving communication from a particular business or organization.
Content Marketing:
Content marketing is a strategic marketing approach that involves creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and engage a target audience. It focuses on providing valuable information, solving problems, and building a connection with the audience rather than directly promoting products or service.
Affiliate Marketing:
Affiliate marketing is a performance-based marketing strategy where individuals or entities, known as affiliates, promote products or services on behalf of a business in exchange for a commission on each sale or action generated through their promotional efforts.
Digital Advertising:
Digital advertising refers to the practice of promoting products, services, or brands through various digital channels and platforms to reach and engage a target audience. It involves the use of online advertising methods to deliver targeted messages, increase brand visibility, and drive desired actions.
PPC (Pay Per Click):
PPC (Pay-Per-Click) advertising is a digital advertising model in which advertisers pay a fee each time their ad is clicked. It is a form of online advertising where businesses bid for ad placement in search engine results or on various websites and platforms, and they only pay when a user clicks on their ad.
Mobile Marketing:
Mobile marketing refers to the practice of promoting products, services, or brands through mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. It encompasses various strategies and techniques designed to reach and engage a mobile audience effectively.
What are the facilities of Digital Marketing?
The main advantage of digital marketing is that a targeted audience can be reached in a cost-effective and measurable way. Other digital marketing advantages include increasing brand loyalty and driving online sales.
Some others are-
Building brand and credibility:
Digital marketing allows businesses to establish their brand presence online, build a positive reputation, and gain credibility among their target audience through consistent messaging and engaging content.
Reaching local customers: With digital marketing, businesses can effectively target and reach customers in their local area through location-based targeting methods, such as geotargeting and local SEO strategies, ensuring their marketing efforts are focused on the right audience.
Interacting with customers: Digital marketing platforms provide various channels for businesses to engage with their customers, such as social media, email marketing, and live chat. This interaction allows for real-time communication, addressing customer concerns, and fostering stronger relationships.
Gaining customer loyalty: Digital marketing allows businesses to personalize their marketing messages and offers based on customer preferences and behaviors. By providing relevant and tailored experiences, businesses can increase customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
Targeting your audience effectively: Digital marketing offers advanced targeting options, allowing businesses to reach specific demographics, interests, and behaviors. This precision targeting ensures that marketing efforts are focused on the right audience, increasing the chances of generating leads and conversions.
Improving your social currency: Through social media marketing and online reputation management, digital marketing enables businesses to build a strong online presence and positive perception among their target audience. This boosts their social currency, increasing trust, and attracting new customers.
Wide range of content types at your disposal: Digital marketing provides businesses with diverse content formats, such as blog posts, videos, infographics, and podcasts. This variety allows them to cater to different audience preferences, engage users in different ways, and showcase their expertise effectively.
Lower advertising costs: Compared to traditional marketing methods, digital marketing often offers lower advertising costs. Businesses can optimize their ad spend, measure campaign performance in real-time, and make data-driven adjustments to maximize their return on investment (ROI).

Top 10 Effective Ways to Use WhatsApp for Business in 2022
WhatsApp is popular. With more than 1.5 billion monthly users scattered over 180 countries, it is undoubtedly the most popular messaging service worldwide. It makes sense that businesses are making every effort to reach this sizable user base. Since WhatsApp doesn’t offer adverts and has an end-to-end encrypted communications system, targeting would be very constrained. Furthermore, WhatsApp Business users must pay a fee to send messages unless customers get in touch with them first.

Do You Know How a Simple Mobile App Can Transform Your Everyday Life?
By: Muhammad Kaif
Tumblr media
Today, I had some free time, so I thought I'd write about a few useful apps. It was support week, and since I'm not very interested in sports, I decided to write something while everyone else was busy preparing for the games.
QIBLA COMPASS
Imagine you're traveling or in an unfamiliar place, and you need to pray but don't know the direction of the Qibla. Install this app on your mobile, turn on your location, and open the app. Place your phone flat on a surface, select the required option on the first launch, and a compass arrow will appear, guiding you to the Qibla direction. This app is essential for any Muslim traveler.
B-Manaic
If I were to describe this app in one sentence, it's a tool that helps you join the beta version of any app on the Play Store. Some people might not know what a beta version is. "Beta" means that when a company releases an update for an app, beta users are the first to receive it. For example, if a new update on WhatsApp allows tagging someone in your status, I would receive it first because I've joined the beta version. Beta versions are released for user testing before making the feature available to the general public.
Anatomy 3D Atlas
This app is highly beneficial for medical students. I've personally used it, and it has been extremely helpful in understanding anatomy. It's around 400 MB in size, but it lets you view 3D structures, making it an invaluable learning tool for medical studies.
Snap Edit
Snap Edit uses artificial intelligence to enhance your photos, similar to Remini. It can easily remove backgrounds and erase objects with a single click. If there's an unwanted element in your picture, you can remove it instantly. You can explore the app to discover more features.
Block Unknown Numbers
Most of our phones come with a Google dialer, where we can adjust the settings to block unknown calls. However, many assume that turning on these settings will block anyone who doesn’t have their number saved, but this isn't entirely true. Is there a way to automatically block numbers not saved in your contacts? Absolutely! Install the Block Unknown Numbers app, enable the first and third options, and you won’t receive calls from numbers that aren't saved in your contacts.

Direct Download from the Play Store
You can download these apps directly from the Play Store, but if you don't want the hassle of searching for each one, I’ve compiled all the app links in one place. Just go to Google and search:
👉 Tecky Kaif
My website will appear at the top. Click on it, go to the post, and scroll down to find the download button. There, you’ll find the app page with all the apps listed, ready for you to download with a single click.

[ad_1] In a striking revelation, Sanjay Kumar Verma, India’s recently recalled envoy to Canada, has accused a faction of hard-line Khalistani supporters in Canada of engaging in serious criminal activities, including human trafficking and arms smuggling. Verma asserted that these individuals are exploiting gurdwaras to fund their illicit operations. Verma described the hard-line Khalistani community in Canada as a minority of about 10,000 people who have transformed the Khalistan movement into a lucrative business. “They are a small group, but they are the loudest and most influential,” he stated in an interview with PTI. Verma did not hold back in criticizing the Canadian government, labeling its approach to diplomatic relations with India as “unprofessional” and deeply problematic. “This is the pits,” he remarked. The diplomat’s comments come against a backdrop of escalating tensions between India and Canada, following Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s claims of Indian involvement in the killing of Khalistani leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Verma alleged that while India had shared names of individuals like Goldie Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi with Canada, there seemed to be a lack of action on the Canadian side, with Brar’s name inexplicably vanishing from the wanted list. “We have never done anything covert, Canada has not shared a shred of evidence,” Verma said. When asked about Trudeau’s alleged promotion of extremism, Verma articulated his views on the matter. He suggested that inaction against known criminals and extremists could be seen as tacit encouragement. “If one takes no action against them, so that is akin to an encouragement. So, that encouragement is seen a lot there, either it is for domestic vote-bank or other political reasons,” he noted. Earlier, Verma had condemned the lack of evidence presented by the Canadian government regarding the allegations against India. He criticized the perceived hypocrisy of Western nations, asserting that the days of developed countries dictating terms to developing nations are over.
