Hikari looked around having no clue where she's at. One minute she was busy devouring her many bowls of ramen, the next thing she knew she found herself here. In what looks like a ruined city. She looked around to see if she can find anyone for help, when she saw a giant human running towards her.
A giant naked human...well, this is a first for Hikari. It tried to grab her, but the blond kunoichi managed to use her speed to avoid getting caught. She hid inside a house while trying to assess what's happening. She didn't have time to think much when she saw more giant humans surrounding a smaller human girl.
Knowing she's in trouble, she begins cracking her knuckles. "All right, Kurama. Let's go!"
Her body begins to glow as she leaped out of the house in a bright light and as the giant humans go to grab the girl, Hikari arrived and knocked them all away, causing them all to crash through the houses around them.

Oct 19, 2023.
I did not post last weekend. Â Between the sketchy Wi fi and busy life here, I reneged. I have a few hours now so here goes.Â
4 new volunteers arrived on Monday. We ,who have been here for 2 to  4 weeks, wait to see who these folks will be. It is always fun to learn their stories.  Four women arrived ranging in age from 29 to 69.  The love for the wildlife of Africa knows no age limits. They are from UK, New Zealand and United States. We exchange brief histories and names and know we will all get to know each other quite well by the time of departures. The minimum time to volunteer here is 2 weeks, some like myself and Joanne stay for 6 weeks and sometimes a person will stay for 3 months.
The high-light of these past days occurred yesterday. There are two trucks doing game drives now because there are ten of us. Sem, the guide for one truck and the group of 6 with him saw an elephant with an arrow sticking out of its right lower buttock. He notified the Kenya Wildlife Service. We were all on our 12 hour long drive in the Naboisho Conservancy doing transects and recording data on the animals we see.
In the late afternoon we saw a helicopter circling low. We felt that could mean one thing, they were looking for the affected elephant. We asked our driver, Dickson, if we could go to where the helicopter was circling. Yes. Â
We made a dash over to that area and saw a lone elephant wandering across the plains with a bevy of vehicles in distant pursuit. This was the elephant we assumed that had been darted by the veterinarian in the helicopter. We could see the bright red dart hanging from his right buttock. The elephant was heading for the bush which was not a desirable place for it to fall. The vehicles headed it off so that he turned back into the plains and over a period of around 15 minutes he gradually slowed to a stop and gently fell to the ground. Â
We drove over to the area. When we were close, we could see around ten rangers and the man we assumed was the veterinarian because he was dressed in a jump suit of khaki and his professional demeanor, a man we later found out was head of the Mara Elephant Project, and a few others.
Sem and Dickson climbed out of their vehicles and went over to them. We were all so excited to see this, and then Dickson came back and said we could get out of the vehicle and join them around the elephant. We were overjoyed. Hurriedly we went to the downed elephant and were able to touch it and observe the veterinary procedure.Â
I have taken photos and a video of this and will present them.
Until you have been close enough to a large bull elephant to touch it, you can never truly appreciate its magnificence and its sheer huge bulk.

Why Hiring a Real Estate Agent is a Smart Move
Navigating the right things in the real estate market can be a daunting task, whether you are looking to sell or buy a property. And people sometimes do things on their own like: finding buyers and sellers ownself to save on broker fees and other charges. But hiring a real estate agent is the most beneficial thing all the time for handling property things. Here are some key reasons why anyone should hire a real estate agent.
Expertise of market and knowledge
Hiring a real estate agent provides a main benefit that they have a deep understanding of market rate, properties and expertise of negotiations with property owners. They are always market trend friendly, they know everything. They also make sure that buyers just pay the right amount to sellers and sellers get the best price to sell their property. Agents also take care and guide you regarding your property and how well maintained you need to make your property regarding selling or buying.
Have a vast network in industry
Having a huge network is the key to success in the real estate market. And that thing a real estate agent always takes care of is that they have a broad network with real estate brokers and property owners. This network helps them to navigate and direct them to perform complex transection. For buyers, have connections with brokers and sellers. For sellers, have connections with buyers.
Negotiation skills
Having a strong negotiation skill doesnât help for buying and selling, but also help to negotiate in other activities. Real estate agents are always ready to negotiate things and they have complex skills of negotiations.
Time saving and stress reduce
Hiring a Real Estate Agent in Mumbai, india or anywhere in the world can saves your precious time and overcomes the stress of selling and buying the property. They help and they have enough time to find a buyer, seller and negotiate with them on pricing.
Understanding Legal Requirements
The real estate market is generally involved with registration, government and other legal activities. And in most cases, buyers and sellers need to become more familiar with those formalities. That's where real estate agents guide through legal terms and government protocols &. They also help to explain the legal formalities and how they are beneficial, and buyers and sellers need to be familiar with those activities.
Emotional Support
Selling and buying properties is an emotional event for owners. It is because when the time of selling the property, they have memories and dreams watched and attached to their property, so it can be a bitter feeling for them to sell their property. In the case of buying, the buyer persona comes with excitement and joy for buying the property. That is where a real estate agent plays a crucial role in performing buying and selling activities calmly and using strategies without attaching emotionally to deals.
Conclusion
Real estate agents can save you time, money, effort and more. Their negotiation skills and business knowledge can get you the best price for your property, whether you are selling or buying it. You can consider all the above points while hiring a real estate agent and judge an agent by considering all the above points. I hope you all liked the post. I would like to know if there is a point that we have skipped to add in the above post. You can comment down.

November 5 - Molly D left St Augustine this morning. We arrived on Wednesday and it wasnât until this morning that the wind finally tired itself out. Unbelievable! We were fortunate to have gotten out of Charleston when we did. A day or so later and we wouldâve been stuck there until the wind calmed down.
The day after Halloween, St Augustine businesses started with their Christmas displays. They blew right over Thanksgiving!
What? Whereâs Thanksgiving?
Way too early for this!
St Augustine in the rear view mirror.
Todayâs travel to New Smyrna Beach was 59.5 miles. With little to no wind, the ICW was relatively calm. Molly D had to pay mind to a dredge operating in the Matanzas River. The dredge operator informed each approaching boat of the safest passage around the dredge. The passage was to the port of the barge. Many boaters were nervous about that route, as navigation charts showed low water on that route. The barge operator assured everyone that there was plenty of water. The area must have been recently dredged, as we saw no less than 12â depth.
There were 9 fixed and 4 opening bridges on todayâs route. Many of the fixed bridges had lower clearances that we would have preferred. Not one was at 65â and most were in the 62â-63â range. Molly D needs 64.5â. The Main St Daytona bridge operator informed another boater that the shown bridge height was for low steel. The center of the bridges are at the top of an arch so add 4â to the shown clearance to get the clearance at the highest point on the bridge. So that explains why Molly D didnât have an âeventâ. Whew!

The ICW is close to the road in this stretch
A hoarderâs sailboat. Didnât get a side shot, but this boatâs topsides and gunnels were loaded with, to put it politely, CRAP
Molly D is anchored just off the ICW for the night. Tomorrow we will leave early for another long travel day. The first bridge we will come to will be the Haulover Canal Bridge. The southbound ICW travel takes a sharp right into the Haulover Canal and the bridge is like right there. This canal transects a beautiful recreation area. I am hoping that we will get to see roseate spoonbills that live on a small island at the end of the canal. Molly D is getting closer to Vero!!!
Anchoring spot for the night
Molly D, facing northbound, is happy to be resting for the night.

Week 8 (July 23-29)
This week the Lipsi base was hosting interns from the Samos base for another seagrass planting. These are always fun because we are very busy and spend a lot of time in the water. We collected a lot of seagrass and sediment last week, so this week was all about moving the bags of seagrass into the frames we placed that were deeper in the sea, around 5 meters in depth. I was on the snorkel team. We took the heavy bags from the kayak teams and swam them to the sea floor where the divers were and helped to situate them correctly in the frames. We were so organized and put together that we were able to place all the bags in less than 3 hours, so that day we got a half day off from work.
Iâve also been studying fish identification, and went on my first biodiversity survey this week. I was able to identify most of the fish I saw, and when I saw one I couldnât remember I described it on my underwater whiteboard and was able to identify it later. This is what Iâll be working on more and more in the coming weeks. It is fun to be in the water, but these surveys consist of only floating and occasional diving which can get really cold after an extended period of time. Each 5x5 meter along a transect requires 10 minutes, and we have 10 sections, so itâs around 2 hours in the water. Luckily we get to break halfway for food and to warm up a bit! This week we took in a bird which had a broken wing because the vet couldnât see him for a few days. He was in a lot of pain but we gave him as much comfort as we could as well as good and water, by Monday we should be able to get him in, so hopefully he will be alright.

comes from here
Jason leaned casually against the wall, a mischievous glint in his eyes as he addressed Amanda Waller. "Hey, Waller, mind sparing a light for this poor guy's cigarette?" he drawled, his tone laced with sarcasm. He couldn't help but enjoy pushing her buttons, seeing how she would react to his snark.
"I know you're all business, no time for the touchy-feely stuff," he continued, smirking as he knowingly played up her reputation. "But come on, just a little spark for this outlaw trying to find his way in the darkness."
He rolled his eyes playfully, making it clear he didn't take her stern demeanor too seriously. "Cogs in the machine, right? Yeah, I've heard that one before," he quipped, not one to shy away from questioning authority and the status quo.
Jason's nonchalant attitude and biting humor were his armor, protecting him from the vulnerabilities he hid beneath. Despite the playful banter, he knew that behind Amanda Waller's no-nonsense facade was a force to be reckoned with, and he respected that.

Diana took notice of the other two staring at them, before moving her hands on her hips. "You two got something on your mind? We're a little busy here," said Diana.

Rod Penner:Â The Latest Picture Show
By Lawrence Nassau
Painter Rod Penner is a poet of precision and atmosphere, and his solo exhibition, âSmall Town Meditations," presented at Louis K. Meisel Gallery, is a symphony of stillness and barely imperceptible movement.
The places and spaces that stand as Pennerâs subjects are seductive scenarios, where big skies meet low-lying commercial districts, gardens come together with single-family homes, and roadways minuet with horizon lines.
Each of Pennerâs paintings is non-narrative. However, a compelling story is told within each of his tableaux. Each conveys the moment of arrival and, simultaneously, points towards the moment of departure. In a most capable fashion, the artist dramatizes the experience of encountering an overall scene and detecting its most salient details. He does so by harmoniously orchestrating them in acrylic on canvas and expressing them with great visual effect.
The synergy of the exhibition's several dozen works - produced by Penner in his Texas studio between 1998 and 2023 and strikingly installed in an all-encompassing manner by the gallery within its singular, central salon - makes for a scintillating art-viewing experience.
The range of Pennerâs works is broadly split between townscapes, portraits of homes and businesses, and hybrids of the two. Often, a roadway - paved or unpaved - meets the viewer in the foreground of each scene and carries their eye upward, towards a horizon or a vanishing point that resides in the background. In some instances, Penner sets up an immersive environment for the viewer. In others, he establishes a plateau, on which an up-close avenue or garden appears to begin just across the proscenium, formed at the border of each composition, and expands fluidly in all directions or in stages towards the distance.
Pennerâs approach to achieving a balance of simplicity and complexity is fully realized in each and every work. Thereâs a maturity of concept and an excellence in practice in both the earlier works and those that are most recent.
While one might expect the most recently completed works to be the most audacious, it is âBar-B-Q / Marble Falls, TX,â produced in 2022, which, if it wasnât as restrained as most of his other works, might be considered borderline surrealistic. The artificial lighting on the façade of the restaurant here is active in a dawn or dusk setting. Through scattered cloud cover, sunlight can be seen bending over the horizon line. On the surface of a shallow puddle in the foreground, reflections of portions of the illuminated portions of the fire-red frontage of the building can be seen. Â
Works from RenĂ© Magritteâs nocturnal landscapes beneath sunlit skies come to mind first. A closer look towards the background may also remind one of the sensibilities of the Hudson River School. Aficionados of the establishing shots in âTwin Peaks,â David Lynchâs television series, might agree how they kindredly point towards how this and other Penner paintings tend to activate an inquiring state of mind. (What and/or who are inside of these structures? Who has just passed here? Who will imminently appear here, and how will they do so? Which of the rhythms of nature have enveloped the viewer here, and which will manifest itself next?) Â
While one might initially assume that Pennerâs paintings are static, it becomes readily apparent that they are dynamic. Each has a heart and a mind, which, in turn, are governed by a guiding hand - one that enables a viewer to complete a picture.
In âClearing Skies / Bertram, Texas,â Penner presents a view of a broad, open space, bound by a line of far-off trees; a yellow building; a confluence of linear motifs (consisting of horizontal electrical wires and vertical utility poles and towers); a commercial district, enlivened by bumper-to-bumper vehicular traffic; and blue skies, punctuated by an array of shadow-fringed clouds. Bands of early morning sunlight transect the foreground, which is heavily covered by cast shadows. Midway through the depth of the right-hand portion of the field of view is the façade of a brick building.
It could be said that whatâs found here is a North American response to the invention of modern painting, namely that which is embodied by Jacques-Louis Davidâs âThe Death of Socrates.â A side-by-side comparison of the two works would show Pennerâs brick building corresponding to the wall behind Socrates and Pennerâs roadway corresponding to the corridor at the left in Davidâs painting. The trees and structures bordering Pennerâs roadway and the cloud cover above could be said to correspond to the arch of the corridor in Davidâs painting, and the scrum of motor vehicles at the rear could conceivably correspond to the figures departing via the staircase of Davidâs painting.
Concurrently, âClearing Skies / Bertram, Texasâ calls to mind Thomas Coleâs âView from Mount Holyoke, Northampton, Massachusetts, after a Thunderstorm - The Oxbow,â which depicts nature and civilization co-existing, side-by-side. While Penner and Cole have structured the respective compositions differently, they portray both domains harmoniously, albeit in a balance that is benignly uneasy. Entropy is a theme in both works; Cole looks more towards storm-driven forces, and Penner looks more towards a gradual wearing away of structures and surfaces by the natural elements but mostly by the movement and weight of motor vehicles.
The clarity that Penner brings to âClearing Skies / Bertram, Texasâ is strategic yet effective in its counter-intuitiveness. In this idiosyncratic memento mori the brick building and its brightly sunlit surface can be seen as the âcandleâ in the composition, ĂĄ la Georges de la Tourâs âThe Penitent Magdalen.â It is reflected in the puddle, as de la Tourâs candle is reflected in the framed mirror. In the reflective surfaces of both works, the image is distinct from that which is reflected; dependent on the vantage point engineered by each artist; and transient, as the puddle can evaporate and the mirror is composed of a fragile substance. Furthermore, shadows in both works can be read in realist and abstract terms.
To stimulate elements of the mind that go beyond the linear and the two-dimensional in âClearing Skies / Bertram, Texas,â Penner presents an upside down view of the façade of the building. By doing so, he enables the viewer to effortlessly accept the text of the right side up signs and their upside down counterparts on equal terms. In a manner of speaking, Penner has a viewerâs brain doing somersaults while enjoying a very pleasing sense of equilibrium. In this regard, he explores the deployment of reflected images that also interests Jasper Johns in his crosshatch paintings. Like a songwriter who recognizes the pleasure of repetition and inversion, Penner has created a visual melody in this exurban tableau.
Although there is much focus on the mastery that can be analytically and intuitively detected in Pennerâs works, it is the simple pleasures of his works that draw in the viewer. The fulfillment that can be achieved by merely glancing at his work and can be enriched by further engagement is easily accessible. In an exhibition, such as âSmall Town Meditations,â one may be moved whilst moving through the real space of the gallery and taking pleasure in the moments virtually portrayed in Pennerâs substantially present paintings.

"Over the years, we have featured many trans words here. Examples: transect, transpontine, transitive, and transpicuous. Lately, legislatures in many Republican states in the US are busy making laws to make things hard for such words. These words never hurt anyone. They simply go about their lives, but thatâs apparently too much for some. We remain intransigent and weâll feature more in the future. Because.
These politicians are probably going to go after homophones next. We have featured such words many times as well. Examples: homologous, homophene, homologate, and rashomon. Again, heterodox that we are, we will continue to feature more such words in the future.
In fact, this week weâll feature a whole week of homophones, words that have the same pronunciation, such as raise and raze.
Homophones or heterophones, transitive or intransitive, all words make our world more colorful, more picturesque, and more descriptive."

She didn't exactly know how to feel about the whole soul contract thing that overlords have. Owning others' souls just felt kinda wrong to her. But as long as the overlords were nice and treated them with respect, unlike a certain moth that she had the displeasure of meeting, then she wasn't going to mind too much of it.

Charlie sat herself in the lobby of her rebuilt hotel. Waiting for sinners to come and check in. With the news of her and friends successful defense against the exorcist spreading fast she was certain it would attract others to want to stay here or at-least that's what she hoped.
She reflected on the battle how Sir Pentious sacrificed himself to get them to this point and how she lost Dazzle. She sighed, she did not want their sacrifices to be in vain. They died believing in this hotel and she was determined to make sure that this hotel is successful rather heaven will admit it or not.
