These influential businesswomen are changing the narrative, demonstrating to young women and girls that they can take charge, establish their ventures, and lead with conviction. They are embodying empowerment and driving a change that encourages the next generation to follow suit.
One of the foremost ways these accomplished women entrepreneurs are empowering the next generation is through role modeling. These CEOs, founders, and industry disruptors are living proof that ambition, resilience, and innovation are not gender-bound. By actively running successful enterprises, they are etching a clear image of what a business leader can look like – and it is decidedly female.

Maximize Your Design Impact: Get the Most Out of Your Graphic Designer Budget
1. What is SEO?
SEO – Search engine optimization is an organic tactic for businesses to repeatedly talk about their offerings and showcase their strengths so that people start recognizing, believing, and booking you!
And if you are wondering if it’s very hard to do in the pool of 100,000 websites which keep popping up every day, trust me, it is not, and half of them aren’t even doing it! Just like you aren’t…
So let’s take small steps in understanding and implementing strategies that can help you in the long term.
2. Why is SEO Important for Small Business?
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is essential for small businesses because it helps increase visibility online, driving more organic traffic to your website without the constant expense of paid advertising.
When you are working on your SEO you are working on the Top of your funnel (TOUF) as well as the mid-funnel (MOFU) because you are letting people compare your offering to others.
By ranking higher in search results, you can outpace competitors, attract more customers, and enhance credibility in your market.
3. How to Start Doing SEO?
Step 1: Keyword Research with tools :
Begin by identifying keywords that are relevant to your business. Tools like Google Ads Keyword Planner and can help discover both broad and specific phrases that potential customers use.
You can do this in two ways:
Putting your competitor’s website link and getting the keywords from there
Listing 10 keywords you feel your audience is searching for and putting them in the tool and letting the tool give you the search volume and suggestions.
Protip: If you are doing it for the first time, go for low or mid-competition but higher search volumes in long keywords (more than 2 words).
Step 2: Content Generation:
Create engaging and valuable content that addresses your audience’s needs is the base of SEO work. Tools such as Google Trends and Answer the Public can provide insights into popular topics and questions in your industry.
When you are writing any content piece, use your keywords in it to ensure alignment. The keywords can be used in website content, blogs, or even the hashtags on your social posts.
Step 3: Website Analysis & On-Page SEO:
You will require professional help in this, but for starters, you can get a free audit from SEMRush (Click Here) (https://www.semrush.com/features/site-audit/) , which will tell you where your website is lacking, then you need to make corrections on your website.
Ensure your website’s meta tags, titles, descriptions, and content include your targeted keywords.
Protip: Regularly update your site to improve user experience and site performance, which are crucial for SEO.
Step 4: Link Building:
You can either hire a third-party agency or do it on your own.
If you are doing it yourself – minimum aim is to build about 10 quality backlinks per month. This can be done by typing your keywords and checking what sites are ranking if they are other classifieds and directories, then you list your business in them.
If they are just competitors, then you go for more generic PR or blog sites to write and publish about your business.
Protip: Some of the free classifieds across all cities in India are: Just Dial, and Yellow Pages. Here is a longer list that you can try: 200 Free Ad Posting Classifieds
Does This Feels Exhausting!
But if you want to do something for SEO right now and feel good
4. Here Are 2 Goldmines of SEO To Dig Into:
1. Google Profile:
Tumblr media
Make sure whether you have a website or not, you are listed on Google My Business. You just need a Gmail account and it’s almost like talking all about your business. Read how to do it here: How To Set Up and Optimize Google Business Profile in 10 Minutes
This gives instant recognition to your services make sure you are putting in complete information about your business, adding images, phone numbers, links, etc.
Ask your current customers to give you a review on this.
2. Quora Questions:
Did you know Quora gets asked up to ~47K questions per day now? And very few businesses are replying on it, especially if you are locally relevant this is a place to be.
Make an account and start answering the questions—don’t forget to include your number, email ID, and website link in every answer you leave!

5. Set Metrics for a Data-Driven SEO Strategy
Tumblr media
No matter what stage you are in your SEO journey, remember that any marketing activity is all about driving better results. This cannot be done until you have metrics set that you can measure:
1. Organic Traffic:
Keep a record of monthly new users, bounce rate, and most viewed pages to understand the effectiveness of your SEO activities. You can also check your Google profile page views.
2. Search Engine Rankings
Use tools like Google Search Console to track your rankings for various search queries, see which pages are ranking, and understand how changes to your SEO strategy impact your position.
3. Click-Through Rate
This metric measures the percentage of users who click on your link after seeing it in the search results. A higher CTR can indicate effective title tags and meta descriptions. Google Search Console provides insights into the CTR for your pages.
4. Backlinks
The number and quality of backlinks to your website are strong indicators of its authority and trustworthiness in the eyes of search engines. Tools like Ubersuggest, Ahrefs, or Moz can track the number of backlinks, assess their quality, and monitor your link-building progress.
5. Conversion Rates
Ultimately, the goal of SEO is not just to attract more traffic but to convert that traffic into leads or sales. Tracking how many visitors complete a desired action (like filling out a form, signing up for a newsletter, or making a purchase) helps assess the real value of your SEO efforts.
6. Wrapping Up: Focus on Organic Growth and Take Control

SEO might seem complex initially, but even small steps can make a big difference. Invest time in keyword research, create valuable content, and claiming your online presence. This way you can lay the groundwork to attract new customers organically. This ensures long-term growth of your business, without relying solely on paid advertising.

Beautiful post, if you were to take a younger dark skin woman under your arm as a mentor, what would you tell her about moving in life and being an escort. Also how would someone find a mentor. What if I don’t fully like the idea of being some white mans secret outside of escorting. I have noticed it benefits me greatly to be their secret. My clientele consists of white men and Asian men ONLY which is quite normal for the Bay Area. I want to date up but I want to be the WIFE as well. I don’t want to be a secret mistress for forever you know? What books did you read as a 21 year old to cope with how to move as a black women in life? Sorry if this isn’t your preferred conversation
If I were to mentor my younger self about life in general, I would teach myself to be more aware and accepting of my own emotions. Don’t run away from them. My parents shamed me about emotions when I was younger and I think it held me back in life.
I would also teach myself about how destructive men are and tell myself to care nothing for their feelings, stay on my guard when it comes to men, don’t have sex with men unless you’re in control of the dynamic.
If I were to go back and teach myself lessons about escorting, I would tell myself that the service escorts offer is a service just like any other. Pricing is not totally under your control unless you have incredible branding. Pricing mostly depends on your look and the market you’re in. I was naive to think that I could make enough money with a high end persona alone when my market couldn’t tolerate high end rates.
I think escorting mentors are mainly useful learning how to stay safe. Everything else on the business side of escorting can be learned by researching online. If I were to look for a mentor, I would just spend time studying Twitter accounts of other girls. See if their politics are aligned with yours. Study how they respond to other providers online to make sure they’re safe to talk to. And, of course, choose someone who seems to be successful. At the right time, I would reach out to them and ask if they offer mentorship (I would offer to pay them as a sign of good faith).
I might not be the right person to ask about how to move as a black woman in life. I live a somewhat unconventional life. I quit retail in my 20s, went on to work for a solo-preneur for about a year, became a solo-preneur myself for about 8 years, and I’ve been escorting for about 4 years. I’ve hidden myself away from the world as a solo entrepreneur and then as an escort.
I think the only books/essays I’ve read that made clear the way black women are perceived in this world are books/essays by Audre Lorde. However, books like Audre Lorde can radicalize you so I think you need literature to balance you out if you’re especially interested in navigating corporate or white spaces. If there are any followers who have suggestions for literature on how to navigate life as a black woman, please drop them in my Asks.
I personally think there are many different paths to marrying well…
You can work your way through professional circles (starting with your own day job).
Make your way through other professional circles outside of work (do you belong to any professional networking groups for your industry? For instance, if you’re in IT, are you in any IT networking groups? These groups will meet to discuss the industry but also have fun, social meets).
You can find a mate through escorting (do not listen to people who say that men do not marry escorts. They have no idea what they’re talking about. 😂)
Online dating works if you have the patience.
Meet men out while you’re doing your favorite hobby and make friends. I took up golfing and all the men on the range are professionals.
Wait tables at upscale restaurants. Those girls are always getting invites from wealthy men. I think the key is maintaining your standards and making it clear you’re only open to vanilla dating and not escorting.
If I were to take any of these routes, I would make friends in professional networks/organization. I used to have a career in a field that I cared a lot about. I could speak the language and I actually enjoyed the work so I fit into those professional circles. It was a male-dominated industry.
I think marrying up is time-consuming and I would be prepared to invest a few years into finding a mate. I totally understand not wanting to be a mistress. You’re young, though, so you have a MAJOR advantage!
I remember my best friend’s mother once told her, “If I was your age, the world would be my oyster”. It’s such a simple saying but so true. My best friend and I were both in our mid-twenties when she told her this.

A New Wave of Entrepreneurs
Entrepreneurship Over 50 isn’t just for the young. Increasingly, women in this age group are stepping into entrepreneurship, proving that age is no barrier to building a thriving enterprise. Many find this stage of life ideal for launching their ventures, with personal and professional experiences serving as powerful assets. Experts emphasize that starting later not only brings unique advantages but also improves the chances of long-term success. Despite societal perceptions, seasoned entrepreneurs often outperform younger ones due to their maturity, clarity, and resilience.
However, fear and self-doubt are common hurdles for those considering this journey. A lack of confidence can deter many from pursuing their entrepreneurial dreams. To counter this, seasoned professionals are encouraged to embrace their unique strengths and take bold steps toward transforming their ideas into reality.
Harnessing the Advantages of Age and Experience
Starting a business later in life brings distinct advantages. Decades of accumulated experience enable older entrepreneurs to make sound decisions and avoid pitfalls that younger counterparts might face. The networks built over the years—spanning mentors, colleagues, and professional contacts—can prove invaluable in securing early customers and guidance.
Entrepreneurship Over 50 brings clarity and determination that often come with age. Entrepreneurs in their 50s or beyond typically have a deeper understanding of their goals and are better equipped to focus their efforts. While fears of failure or inadequacy are natural, these should not be deterrents. Successful entrepreneurs frequently cite their failures as stepping stones to eventual success, and the wisdom gained over time provides older individuals with a unique ability to navigate setbacks.
Taking the Leap: Turning Ideas into Action
Confidence is key to starting a business later in life. Seasoned professionals should recognize the value of their skills and expertise, using them as selling points in their ventures. It’s important to dismiss naysayers and focus on serving the audience that needs their offerings. Entrepreneurs are encouraged to utilize the many resources available, including small business development centers, online learning platforms, and networking groups that provide support and accountability.
Ultimately, no amount of preparation can entirely eliminate the risks or fears associated with launching a business. The first step—taking the leap—is often the hardest but also the most transformative. Starting small and testing ideas can build momentum and confidence over time. By facing their fears head-on and embracing the journey, older entrepreneurs can unlock a fulfilling chapter in their lives, transforming their ideas into successful businesses.
The message is clear: Entrepreneurship Over 50 proves it’s never too late to start a business. For those with a dream and the determination to see it through, now may be the perfect time to turn their vision into reality. Age is not a limitation—it’s an advantage waiting to be harnessed.

Did you know that there are 582 million entrepreneurs in the world? With numbers like this, entrepreneurs everywhere need a competitive edge. If you’re building and scaling a business, chances are you’re constantly on the lookout for ways to get a leg up on your competitors. To accomplish this, you’ll need a great marketing strategy that stands out in a saturated market and access to the best digital marketing tools.
In this blog, we’re going to outline nine applications you need to optimize your digital marketing strategy. There may be a few that you are familiar with; others might be new to you. These are the ones that can unlock that door to success you’ve been waiting for.
From project management to outsourcing tasks and simplifying your social media marketing efforts, each of these applications will help you get the competitive edge you’re after. Plus, they’re easy-to-use with minimal technical skills required.
Project Management and Collaboration - Trello
The most important part of starting your digital marketing strategy is communicating and setting expectations for deliverables and deadlines for yourself, and if applicable, your team and stakeholders. In the past, most project management efforts took place via email. However, that traditional process was not created to accomplish the dynamic and fast-paced tasks that digital marketing activities demand.
Trello is a free digital marketing tool for easy project management. The app displays each project like a “board” containing “cards” with checklists, and the user interface is easy to understand and navigate. Like other platforms, there are upgrades that come as paid features to get the most out of it. But, the basic free service entails checklists, deadline reminders, data filtering, activity logs, email notifications, customizable task categories, and more. It’s the best tool to simplify and organize digital marketing projects.

In an increasingly interconnected world, inclusivity and diversity are critical to building vibrant, successful communities. The Importance of Inclusive Networking
Diverse networking environments bring together individuals with different perspectives, skills, and experiences, creating a fertile ground for innovation and growth. Perth’s commitment to inclusivity in networking is not only a reflection of its multicultural population but also an acknowledgment of the value diverse voices bring to the table.
By prioritising inclusivity, business networking Perth events ensure that everyone—from underrepresented groups to established professionals—has an equal opportunity to connect, share ideas, and thrive. This approach not only benefits individuals but also strengthens the broader business community by encouraging fresh ideas and collaborations.
Perth’s Efforts in Promoting Inclusivity and Diversity
1. Tailored Networking Events for Cultural Communities
Perth hosts numerous events specifically designed to engage its culturally diverse population. These events create safe spaces where participants can network with peers who share similar cultural backgrounds while also bridging gaps with the wider business community. For instance:
Ethnic Chamber Networking Nights: Events that connect professionals from specific cultural backgrounds, such as the Indian or Chinese business communities, with other industries.
Multicultural Business Forums: Platforms for discussing challenges faced by minority-owned businesses and finding collaborative solutions.
These initiatives empower culturally diverse professionals to share their unique perspectives while integrating seamlessly into Perth’s larger business ecosystem.
2. Inclusivity in Professional Networking
Inclusivity goes beyond cultural diversity to include representation for all genders, abilities, and professional backgrounds. Perth’s networking events often adopt a universal design, ensuring accessibility for people with disabilities, and feature discussions on:
Gender equity in business.
Opportunities for individuals transitioning into new careers or industries.
Support for entrepreneurs from marginalised communities.
By addressing these themes, business networking Perth creates an environment where everyone feels valued and heard.
3. Collaboration with Advocacy Groups
Many networking organisers in Perth partner with advocacy organisations to embed inclusivity into their events. For example:
Collaborations with Women in Leadership Perth promote gender diversity at high-profile business events.
Partnerships with LGBTQ+ advocacy groups ensure inclusive practices and foster a safe environment for networking.
These partnerships enrich the event experience, encouraging participation from groups that might otherwise feel excluded.
How Businesses and Organisations Can Support Inclusivity
To further promote inclusivity and diversity in networking, businesses and event organisers can take these steps:
Offer Scholarships or Free Access: Reduce financial barriers for individuals from underrepresented groups by offering subsidised tickets or free admission.
Create Safe Spaces: Ensure events provide environments where participants feel comfortable sharing their ideas without fear of judgment.
Highlight Diverse Speakers: Feature keynote speakers from varied backgrounds to inspire and engage attendees.
Encourage Open Dialogue: Use networking events as platforms for discussing inclusivity, with panels or workshops focused on the topic.
Conclusion
Perth’s dedication to inclusivity and diversity in networking is paving the way for a stronger, more connected business community. By embracing cultural and professional diversity, business networking Perth events create opportunities that empower individuals and foster innovation. As more organisations adopt inclusive practices, Perth continues to set a benchmark for building networks that break barriers and celebrate the richness of its diverse population.
