Weekend and a week off ahead! Going out and explore as always. Even we don’t have a bucket list and being over 30 years on the road with our westy we’re still trying to find new things to do. This year we joined four vanlife meetings (the 1st ones for us) #festivalohnebands and at the upcoming days there should be some more new stuff coming to be checked on our not existing bucket list. First stop will be the premiere of the @heimreise_film from @pinepins and @mathis_ox at the drive-in cinema with camping later on . (englisch Version in the comments) Sehr schön angelegter Platz mit sehr großzügigen Parzellen, gepflastert für das Fahrzeug und mit Rasen neben und vor/hinter dem Fahrzeug.  Teilweise durch Hecken abgetrennt. Elektrizität auf jedem Platz. Großzügige Distanz durch die Grünflächen zu den Nachbarn. Hier kann jeder sich sehr gut ausbreiten. Sanitärhäuschen (unisex) mit 4 Duschen und 2 WCs und je 2 Waschbecken. Reinigung meist 2x täglich. Kosten für uns waren 27,42€ all inklusive. (2 Personen, inkl. Strom 4€) Free wifi. Throwback to our westy-pilgrimage a couple years ago. In 2015 we drove the Northern Way of St. James on the occasion of the 26 year ownership of our VW T3 California. Of course it wasn’t a pilgrimage but more a themed roadtrip along the northern Spanish coastline with visiting some of the highlights of the Camino de Santiago. Seeing the pilgrims arriving after their long walk at Santiago de Compostela was a stunning experience. The picture of the Westy was taken on the road between Santiago de Compostela and Finisterre, the ancient believed end of the world. While I'm sitting here in the far north in the bright blue sky, one more post about our favorite camp spots. This time one in the south, in Austria. Already almost forgotten, but when visiting the #cvsm19 we was reminded how nice it actually is there. The @camping.grubhof in Sankt Martin near Lofer. Especially in the off-season with the use of the ADAC Camping Card interesting. We used to whitewater kayaking in Lofer, the campground is right by the river Saalach, you can go directly from the place with the kayak to the Hubertuswalze and in the Lofer canyon. If you prefer calmer routes, you can paddle from Saalfelden thru the very scenic landscape and with something to play at Pass Luftenstein and go out the river right at the campground.. Au-Border is a beautiful section and from the Campground you can also reach many creeks and kayaking areas easily by car. Of course, hiking and cycling is great around the campground. Lofer itself is located in a beautiful valley, on the campsite itself you have a beautiful mountain panorama. The surrounding area also offers some things to explore and hike. In the summer months you have with the guest card free ride on the Loserer Alm Bahn. The place itself is topnotch of the equipment, modern, clean, spacious sanitary facilities, generous pitches or free camping like out on the Saalachwiese (our favorite) sauna, fitness, lounge, etc. Small shop and restaurant. On the weird one-device wifi policy we can get over, as we bring our own Wifi. As often to unpopular vacation times, we are on the road again to try something new. After the terrific premiere event of the Heimreise Movie in the Drive-In Cinema Stuttgart, we have changed the direction without further ado and drove, other than as planned to the mountains, into the far north. Already last winter we stumbled in the internet across the possibility to spend the night with the Bulli at a hotel and use the benefits of a hotel. That would have been in SPO at the Beach Motel. At that time it had not worked because of lack of availability. Now spontaneously came the opportunity to try this concept again, but not on the North Sea, but in the Bulli garden at the Hotel Bretterbude in Heiligenhafen at the Baltic Sea. On request came a very friendly answer there would be room for 3 nights for us and the Fatwesty. Unusually for us to the north. Here we are, officially camping at a hotel including the hotel benefits. (Spa, stylish skate lobby, etc.) We've often was with our campers at hotel parking lots, mostly in the U.S. or in Spain. So now B.Y.O.B. something different - bring your own bed :-) Good place with direct beach and promenades access. Own, very clean sanitary facilities and sun terrace, the theme aligned in and on containers. Incidentally, shack does not refer to the design, but on sport theme: Brettln. Skate - Surf - Kite, etc. This is in the lobby, the bar and in the entire area neatly illustrated. Nice atmosphere and later in the evening the highlight, the @heimreise_film from @mathis_ox and @pinepins. Great movie at a good organised event with electricity on each pitch, sanitary facilities open during the night and the snack shop late night and in the early morning open. If we had a bucket list, we could check three things on it. 1st time in a drive-in cinema, 1st camp in a movie theater and first movie premiere. Heimreise-Film Premiere im Drive-In-Kino mit Camping. Klasse Veranstaltung! Campervan Treffen mit sehr vielen schönen Vans. Gute Stimmung und später am Abend das Highlight, der @heimreise_film von @mathis_ox und @pinepins. Toller Film! Danke an Alle, Orga, Helfer usw. für den schönen Abend. Alles gut organisiert, Strom an jedem Platz, sanitäre Einrichtungen in der Nacht und der Snack-Shop bis spät in der Nacht und am frühen Morgen geöffnet. Wenn wir eine Bucket List hätten, könnten wir drei Dinge abhaken. 1. Mal in einem Autokino, 1. Camp in einem Kino und erste Filmpremiere. Nun sind wir bereits unterwegs Richtung Norden.
