i just thought of a retgmt headcanon

since izumi is very observant in retgmt, and sokka is basically around almost all the time now, she observes and watches sokka a lot

and like how when sokka concentrates he sticks his tongue out, izumi slowly picks it up and starts doing it herself when she concentrates

and when zuko sees his own daughter and the love of his life both doing it, he thinks he might actually explode

zuko started doing yoga in the mornings bc ty lee suggested it to him and he finds it helps him in a lot of the same ways meditation does.

sokka likes it bc he can sit and watch him, and he can poke at the yoga mat bc it has a fun texture

i KNOW you’ve seen that one post about iroh having hawaiian shirt energy and sokka having the same energy but with no sleeves....ok now remember in retgmt when zuko was cleaning out irohs closet and picking out a red one and a blue one. what if sokka finds the blue one and boom!! sleeves gone.....what if.

i literally just rambling but i was thinking a lot about that scene zuko finding the shirts and just happening to pick out the red and blue one

lol noooooooo tbh I thought for a hot second about zuko giving him one but it just didnt fit the ~tone of that particular part. but i do like to imagine somewhere down the line that zuko starts wearing the red one with the dragons, and Sokka's like 😍😍😍
