Open RP Starter: In Plain Sight

Bulma idly adjusted the simple wrap she wore over her chest, feeling more than a few gazes turning her way. She’d done her best to blend in with the natives, but there was only so much she could really do—her bright blue hair and pale skin stood out like a sore thumb amongst the bronze and copper men and women walking these streets. She swallowed hard, ignoring the stares best she could, and dropped her gaze again to the scanner in her hand.

After the last summoning of Shenron, the Dragon Balls had spread far and wide—and with the rest of the Z-Fighters handling threats across the world, it had fallen to Bulma to seek the magic orbs out again. So far, she’d done well, but this latest one was proving the most difficult—it had dropped into the middle of an unexplored jungle, and was apparently somewhere in this hidden city she’d stumbled upon. Honestly, it was the find of the century!

Or it would be, once she got out of here, with the Dragon Ball in tow—just where was it?

Bulma groaned softly to herself as she looked towards her screen, having been working on this assignment for the last few days. She had completely lost track of time trying to fix her rejuvenation spa. She figured it might not be the best idea to constantly abuse the dragon balls to make herself look young, knowing it might cause some issues in the future. So instead she was working on a more... scientific way to make herself look younger. Of course that meant a lot of time in her lab and not with her family as she tried to fix the machine. She didn't even know it was Mother's Day as she tried to figure out what was wrong, not even hearing the door open to her lab.

"Hm... maybe it has something to do with the water. Maybe I can see if Dende can purify it to help rejuvenate the skin more... but how long would that fix it..."

Maybe Trunks had an older brother, an older brother who looked exactly the same but a few years older... yeah, nothing weird about that. Given her own interdimensional situation, she had to assume this was either a multiverse duplicate of Trunks, or time travel, unless Bulma found a way to accelerate aging.

Andi on the other hand, had stuck around the place, largely because Bulma had taken an interest in her symbiote, as well as the multiverse portal watch she wore (which had broken when she arrived here). Least it meant having a roof over her head since she'd be here for the time being.

"So..." Andi blinked, having sat in the same room as this seemingly time displaced Trunks without saying a word for what felt like forever. "Multiverse? Or Time Travel?" She asked, more in terms of how he got here.
