Here's my list of headcanons that barely if at all made it to the fic lol

Professor Joel: 

--he likes 60s r&b/soul music like Etta James and Barbara Lewis

--he has a collection of high end whiskey 

--he’s had cover stories on architectural digest 3 times and had articles published in it dozens of times

--he likes to study the political aspect of architecture. Several of his academic papers were published on hostile architecture in cities and the issues with that

--he wears vintage band tees with jeans and a sport coat to class everyday (this is based on the professor i boinked)

--he smokes american spirits when he drinks but he doesn’t smoke otherwise

--he’s from texas but moved to wherever this story takes place (not locating it) bc they offered a tenure track position and he’s lived there for 13 years. 

--not a headcanon but just to keep track his birthday is September 26, 1967, making him 56 years old in this fic and he’s also a scorpio.

Reader headcanons:

--she had a crush on him the whole semester and is kind of into him being an asshole? But she uses him being a dick as a way to cover her crush (poorly)

--Coop and Em were her roommates freshman year and they've been friends ever since.

--She's super into the bands on the shirts joel wears and they talk about music together a lot
