Today I lost my Lucky Passenger.

Back before the pandemic I got a car, 3rd hand, in cash, to replace my leased one once time ran out. A white 07 Chevy malibu. Decent enough car, a grandma named Shirley drove it only to buy groceries and go to the doctor. Other than the gas gage not reading properly no complaints.

But shortly after I started driving it, I noticed a little black spider with yellow dots would skitter across the inside of the windshield before decending back where it came from. Im not in the habit of killing a bug on sight unless its a mosquito, tick, or ant in my kitchen. So I just left him.

At some point the little dude took up residence in the passenger side mirror, behind the mechanism that holds the glass. I grew accustomed to seeing him. Every now and then I'd think I'd lost him, only for him to show himself again. Eventually I felt relieved anytime I'd see proof of him. In January of last year, I got into a car accident, and I honestly felt relief that the car hit my door instead of the passenger side, cuz I was already worried how scared the little dude would be from the collision. As a kid I'd often wonder how scary the world is in general when you're that small.

I started to think of him as a luck charm tbh. If only because anytime I'd drive too recklessly, I'd think about how I wasnt alone in the car, and how I wasnt just driving for me. My lil lucky passenger was along for the ride.

Today, when I got back into my car after a visit to my endocrinologist, he fell out of the door jam and onto my sleeve, handing by his silk. I tried to catch him and to put him back on his mirror. He dropped to the floor and I opened the door to try to see and scoop him. But then he fell out of the car and onto the asphalt. I tried in vain to get him with a receipt and business card I had in a cup holder but he kept sliding off. I went to get an empty water bottle to try to catch him and put him back home, but by the time I got it, he was gone, and I couldn't find him. Gone under the blue jeep parked to my left, somewhere. Hes so small he could live in a dime-sized studio apartment comfortably. I was looking carefully without taking any steps but I knew I'd never see him again.

I know I'm an overly sentimental person. But it does feel like a real loss. I worry that the reason he slipped off of the papers i tried is because of age. Spider legs lose grip with each molt. So maybe it was an accident, or maybe he was going where every other old animal goes when they die.

Id like to think that he found a new car to live in, and that the next person he rides shotgun with gives him a chance like I did... I hope he does as well as any spider can.

He's a grown fucking highblood, he's over 15 and he's honestly a quadblurring hyperquadratic who's dated over half our friend group. He doesn't need her help getting another notch in his lipstick case. And it's not jealousy. Don't say that. I just think it's cringe as fuck.

And weird. She's acting like he needs her help or dedication, when his own moirail could do that.

Again. Not jealous. But she needs to leave him to himself.

Ya know, if you're available?" She wasn't exactly sure if he'd take her up on it, but she was hoping for a chance to get to know him a bit more.

"Ino." Shino greets, stopping in his steps to listen to what she has to say today. He's been working home on selectively breeding his insects to heighten their resistance to shockwaves most of the week, waiting to be called for a mission. Having this much free time can become repetitive, which is why he's out and about.

"I'm available." Brows raise in an arch, displaying some positivity. "I was actually taking a walk, I don't mind if you join me. What would you like to talk about?"

Drafting the prologue to a fic, I will absolutely be changing some things however. Yes, this was what I was talking about writing on @lorriks-rp-corner. This is an interpretation of @p1ll-bugzzz's au.

Alr, so the fic's idea is my take on P1ll-bugzzz's AU idea. In my interpretation of it, Gonta's rampage starts off when he views the flashback light, and in his state of despair Kokichi's suggestion of killing Miu then everyone else is what triggers Gonta to start killing (believing mercy killing everyone to be the best, completely ignoring getting everyone else killed via the class trial) Kokichi being the first victim. Luckily no one else dies in the virtual world but when everyone returns to the real world, Tsumugi soon ends up finding out what happens. Gonta's rampage could very well be a threat to the entire killing game, so, she plans to putting a stop to it, or well trying while also trying to make sure no one else dies.

Okay so, Kokichi dies first as the victim of Chapter 4 because Gonta basically snaps? I like this concept, Kokichi getting humbled it kinda funny too tbh. How would the trial go without Kokichi there to catch Gonta in his act? What evidence would be used? Would Kokichi have died as Miu did by strangulation?

Ooh Tsumugi playing a part is interesting! Are the chapters in her POV or Gonta/Kokichi's pov? Or do they switch chapter by chapter?

Tsumugi realising her perfect fiction is going off the rails need to find a good time to sneak of to the mastermind lair without anybody noticing. Does Kaito still get logged out of the NWP, maybe he noticed Tsumugi causing a challenge for her?

This is really good, lmk when you start writing it and on what platform I'd love to read it!!!
