OH AND (p.s.) i was thinking bugzapper/zapperbug but it implies the toxicity more than the unrequited feelings.. but ig the angst would involve both anyway right??

There's something sobering about seeing a buzzing mosquito but being unable to turn away long enough to fetch the bugzapper because you know you'll lose it if you do. Like, you see it and you realise you're going to have to get blood on your hands for this. You're going to have to do this yourself. You're going to have to step waist deep into the muck of carnage and extinguish it with your own hands. It's the equivalent of Kakashi pulling up his headband or gojo taking off his blindfold. The time for foolery is over: now there is only war.

It's actually funny to watch Poketubers struggle with the Teal Mask fights when I more or less swept with my Dipplin. It wasn't even level 100 or holding eviolite at the time.
