Thank the gods I got into this fandom, because making ocs from complete scratch is a headache cause of finding a concept to work off of. Having the journalist to expand and project onto is much much easier.

Now into what this post is about.

Rooklyn Thunderbounce, the journalist I am creating for my fanfic. So far I have been trying to nail down what vibes and character they got going on, so far I know a couple details I want to add.

-Rooklyn throughout the story is ever curious and often does or goes along with things to see what happens. While trying to keep the townspeople at arms length at the start, they end up getting attached, even to the ones they find annoying.

-Rooklyn has a nasty habit of shrugging off injuries due to an impressively high pain tolerance and to prove to themself that they are a strong and capable person.

-Rooklyn always wears their journalist hat, even when sleeping, to hide the fact that they have broken horns. It also helps with temperature regulation with them as due to the scarring they are sensitive to changes in temperature, especially with cold. Also will give Rooklyn headaches when there are barometric changes, such as incoming rain and storms.

I gotta ask.

I’m such a sucker for Chandlo and Snorpy ever since I first saw the walkthrough!

And I love this ship! Which made me think. If Snorpy and Chandlo ever wanted kids of their own, would they adopt, find a surrogate mother or is it something a Grumpus can do biologically? (Like I’ve read some fan theories about how Grumpuses can have babies, but not quite sure).

What would your headcanon be for the happy couple?

So, I believe they would wait some time after returning home to settle down with children. They would go through a facility for a surrogate and have two little girls, Chayla and Klyren Fizzlebun.

They would have done a lot of preparations, read lots of books, asked their friends for help, set up appointments, filed all the necessary paperwork, etc. Snorpy would have been through years of therapy at this point, Chandlo joining him for some of it, and they’re both in a better place mentally and financially at this point.

Also, it’s my hc that Grumpuses lay eggs (it’s become a community thing at this point lol) and that Snorpy and Chandlo are both cis (though, I love the trans interpretations of them both and support artists that depict them as such! I personally go off of something said in the creator AMA with that about the VAs aligning with their character’s genders ❤️)

I refuse to believe Triffany isn’t gay at some degree. Bi, at the very least.

I also like to think Chandlo has pretty, long, surfer dude, hair. He has the vibe. And I’m also in denial that he didn’t surf once back in his teens. Unless there’s canon evidence he didn’t.

alright lore time about my 4 stone grumpus leader. PLUS SOME ART WOOOO, ill probably do some actually decent art soon but its fun to draw like this when i dont work on big projects.

Huckleford Bettershape [he/him]: The first leader and the first to arrive on broken tooth's shores with a collective group of grumpuses trying to escape the rule of the first queen "Fareson wigglegrump", he is the oldest relative in the Troubleham family tree being an extremely distant relative to the now living Wambus, he was a strong powerful leader and lead the group of grumpuses, after a few good decades of his life he soonly went blind but being the strong never giving up attitude that Wambus would share with his great distant grandfather he would continue to lead even despite his condition crippling him to the point he couldn't leave his own bed for his senses were lacking over the years was still an inspiration for grumps to work hard like him as all he was left to do was give guidance to young grumps, until his passing of old age finally catching up to him.

Merisa Thornwibble [she/her]: The second leader selected by Huckleford himself to take his place once he died, she was a confident leader despite her small size in comparison to the grumps around her and mothered many pups, yet her punishment on those who wronged her, was banishment from the island, she lost sight in one of hers due to an attack caused by another grumpus but she continued not letting it get her down, her death came swiftly then others dying from an infectious plague that spread around the island that grumps would later title it as reginae ultionem. "The queen's revenge" thinking that this was caused by Huckleford leading grumps off mainland snaktooth during the time of Queen Fareson's rule as a curse for betraying her majesty, a plague that revenged through who lived in the dense communities of the island, only few were safe from this plague that managed to retreat to more far lands of broken tooth during these times of sickness, the sickness grew worse in the winter months but surely came to a sudden end, grumps thought of this as a divine blessing from mother naturea.

Laurza Munchbitter [she/her]: The third leader, she wasnt selected to become since Merisa's dying there was no one to take her place without a leader passing on for them to be next, so a group of grumps who called themselves electos saluatores "the chosen saviors" decided to take it into their own paws saying they were able to speak with mother naturea on a close level yet their decisions were for their own gain, gathering 4 grumpuses to undergo a trial, 3 out of the 4 died leaving Laurza left to be crowned leader. But many werent happy with this choice for her mother "Walladay Darnfear" was banished from the land during Merisa's leadership so Laurza was ostracized by her fellow grumps including her own brother seeing her as unworthy to lead and how the electos saluatores got their words wrong picking someone like her to lead, during her time of leadership the island was only in its staring points of becoming unlivable, the tides were seeming to drifting in closer than it was before as small earthquakes shook the ground, her death came in the form of being sacrificed to the undersnax, which had opposed them only for a short time but that would soon come to end, as the snax's grew more aggressive for she was the last sacrifice.

Peeble Mottleshrink [he/they]: The last known leader in the records they had ended the grump sacrifices meaning no more were to keep them at bay, they were one of the only grumpuses who ever trusted Laurza, the two were close and would share secrets with each other, Laurza knowing her time would eventually come to its unfortunate end soon enough gave them the highest power of being the next leader, as Peeble learnt of her death, they felt a great power and was determined to do his dead friend right, Broken tooth was already beginning to fail at that point due to Laurza's leadership never taken seriously making grumpuses turn on eachother, and the amount of earthquakes being more and more frequent then in past years, there was a panic amongst grumps and electos saluatores had to soon disband for how much pressure was being placed on them and their lies were being seen through. With Peebles harsh attitude and deminer they managed to get atleast most grumps to come with him to mainland snaktooth or off to snakless lands, those left at Broken tooth would die due to the island sinking or crushed by the falling rubble, or due to the fact that the bugsnax had gone into a frenzy with no sacrifices for the while Peeble lead.

Now that I'm okay with my OC-- Meet Jacky! He/them but mostly they.

Some little things!

Jacky is instant friends with Chandlo of all Grumps. Mostly because they're pretty fit too. They're basically gym buddies during game and post game.

They're so chill. Like. Chiiiiill. No care in the world. Catch a huge flying pizza in the desert? Yeah sure sounds fun. That type of chill.

They either have problems with sleep or they don't sleep at all. At least it seems that way bc they spend little to no time at their hut.

The little thing I like to imagine is that they WANTED to confess on the balcony on the last party but then the ending happened. And they kinda... forgot. Until post game then Filbo and them were already living together.

They take no bs from anyone. Then they got fired they were like "OK then fuck you" and started writing books (and were good at it).

Jacky is diabetic! Which can be one of the reasons for their bugsnax allergy. (my headcanon ofc)

IN BUGS AND SNAX

I've recently been seeing more Bugsnax friendos get into In Stars and Time. Like, five different people I met via Bugsnax are now doing fanart and fanfics for it (if you know you know).

And I think it's a shame. Because that number should be SO MUCH HIGHER

So Bugsnax fans who are unaware of this lovely RPG, here's my pitch to you as to why I think you'd like In Stars and Time and would really enjoy it.

For ISAT fans who never heard of Bugsnax, read along if you wanna. This post is primarily for the opposite, but you may find something else to dip your toes into as well 0w0

Extremely cute / lovable cast that holds so much depth and complexity than meets the eye

Look at these goobers. Look at all of them having fun. They all seem like the kind of squishy chibi type OCs you would find on tumblr, right? Wholesome uwu babies?

Well, kind of yes but still WRONG

These characters have so much emotional complexity that it can be genuinely hard sometimes to pick a favorite character between them all. Odile isn't just the "mom of the group," she has her own reasons for being on this grand quest that stem all the way back to her family lineage, her relationship with her parents. And it all gets explored for every last character, just enough where you can fill in the gaps yourself, but you can still feel that there's so much more under the surface.

You know that bit at the end of Beffica's sidequests where she reveals that, despite her bitchiness, her reason for being like that is because she has a MOUNTAIN of trust issues? And that she never tells lies, but wants to unearth truths before she gets hurt? Remember how you felt when realizing that fact? That's there with ALL of the main cast here. Hope you've got your snorkel because there's so much for you to dive into.

2. Gameplay that adds to the narrative and puts you within that world/the player's shoes

This is my personal headcanon and I don't know if it's intentional on Young Horses' part, but I always felt that running around and catching all of the Bugsnax for the grumps in Snaxburg was intentionally designed to make you feel like Lizbert. You replace her role as town "therapist," you solve everyone's problems in a kind of regressive way that ends up hurting a lot of people. Despite the gameplay being fairly simple, it still added a lot to the plot, to give you that sense in the endgame of "oh. oh god, i really fucked up." You are forced into the shoes of that world/character through the gameplay and it hits much harder as a result.

That intentional and thoughtful game design is present from the moment you start up the game, all the way to the end. In Stars and Time has the best "ludonarrative harmony" I have ever seen. Ever.

The way that the game and story is paced makes you fully understand what Siffrin is going through, the constant slog through the castle (without it ever feeling grindy by the way!), zoning out through the same bits of dialogue. At any given point, no matter how dramatically Siffrin acts, you understand emotionally why he is at that point. You feel his exhaustion, his surprise, his desperate hope, his "i'm going to try fucking anything at this point" attitude. The entire way from start to finish, you feel it.

I refuse to say any more because doing so would spoil the game. But trust me when I say, if you noticed what Bugsnax was doing there with player/Lizbert parallels? You'd love this game.

3. "What is Straight?"

So you know how we all collectively agreed that Gramble is trans? and that Wambus/Triffany are the most bisexual straight couple?

How would you like those types of characters.... but have those conversations out loud?

Listen, I love this fandom as much as the next person, and I am a Transble believer at heart. But it's easy to forget that those are all just talked about in fanon, you know? (Despite gramble literally being trans flag colors listen i KNOW). We get certain bits of characters being introspective about their genders and gender roles, like Wambus being really stubborn with his farm and wanting to maintain a sustainable way of living, being "the breadwinner," for him and his wife. And Floofty feeling like an outcast for behaving in a way that is not "socially acceptable" while being nonbinary. But we never talk about those specific subjects directly, about sexuality, gender identity and the like. Not that Bugsnax NEEDS that, it's just something the writers never really thought to include.

But In Stars and Time... it scratched an itch I never knew needed scratched. Take the thirteen different pieces of character complexity and condense it into five. The discussions that the main party have in relation to their identities, both sexual and gender, are some of the most phenomenal pieces of writing I've ever seen. I've talked with asexual people who played this game who were like "finally, FINALLY SOMEONE GETS IT." Finally getting some characters that resonated with them so, so well. And there is a discussion about halfway through the game with a transgender character that absolutely floored me, because so many post-transition character arcs that I see are related to dealing with transphobes and accepting your slay self queen/king/my liege. And that's good. It's cool. But I feel I've seen that so many times now I know the basic plot beats. And ISAT throws in a unique twist to it that I rarely see and the influence that their past combined with cultural pressure it's just, it's SO GOOD. You gotta see it to believe it man, I'm leaving out so much shit here you need to check it out yourself.

4. It will reach into your chest and strangle your heart with its claws

Despite how cute both games can be, they can bash the back of your head with a steel chair of emotion.

You know that feeling you get when you complete a lot of bugsnax sidequests? When you realize Triffany will never get the closure she wanted; when you've helped Wiggle chase this dream of a muse that doesn't exist, and that it was (at least partially) your fault? Well how about if that was the entire game?

This game has some of the highest highs and lowest lows, emotionally speaking. A lot of ISAT also has that same sort of emotional ambiguity Bugsnax has; certain plot points will never be resolved, because that's just life. And you're forced to sit with it, sit in that guilt and resentment because this isn't a problem that can be solved so quickly but you still tried and that arguably made things worse.

Yes, an argument could be made that because Siffrin is not a self insert like The Journalist, then there's a layer of disconnect. But remember what I said in point two: you understand every step Siffrin takes the whole way through because you play it. You sit in it. And no matter how dramatically Siffrin acts, it will be hard to deny that you wouldn't do the same in their place.

5. A big mysterious twist that will emotionally gut you and leave you to dry

Obviously I can't put much here. It'd spoil Bugsnax for ISAT fans and spoil ISAT for Bugsnax fans, more than I already have. But for the fans of each respective games, you KNOW what I'm talking about. And there is an equivalent in the other as well.

If the image of Siffrin making that face intrigues you in any way, especially compared to what I've already shown you. Then go in the game blind. The scene this is from blindsides so many people and once you hit That Face, you know the true game has begun.

That's about the best pitch I can give for Bugsnax fans to play ISAT. I really do feel there's a lot of emotional overlap between these two, even if they're completely different games by nature. There's a lot to love and sink your teeth into.

If this is your first time hearing about either of these games and any of this sounds intriguing to you? Trust me. GO IN BLIND. The gameplay/story blend may not click for everyone right away, but if you let yourself sink into this game, if you let yourself connect with it, boy oh boy does it connect. There is truly nothing like In Stars and Time and/or Bugsnax, and the more people experience this game, the better. Trust the process, slink into it.

I promise you won't regret it.

unsure if people have ask you this but like have tips (or tutorial) for draw grumpuses? /nf

Nope! I've never had anyone ask how I draw grumps ur the first! :3

ill try my best to explain how I draw grumps and some tips, even though I'm not very good at explaining stuff.

But also, fair warning there are headcanons of grumpus biology and other things. :P

But I have...2-3 ways I draw grumpuses, more animalistic or more of a cartoonish way.

But I'd have to say that you'd have to really study the cast we've got in bugsnax, study their body types. Such as with eggabell and my drawing of her.

Her original body shape is eggie, such with her name hehe.

But with more rounder grumpuses (especially more in the stomach and hips area), I've interpreted their round side with fat. In eggabell's body shape you can see how her bottom area is more big than the rest of her body. In the drawing that I made, her body is large in the bottom but makes it way to be thinner just like in her og body. But with more plump grumps they have dewlaps. (Which if I remember properly are made of fat and fur for nesting)

Even with grumpuses like floofty (including other rounder grumps such as snorpy and beffica) >>

In their original yk body and proportions, hips are big, but slowly move up to become thinner. But unlike eggabell they're not yk egg shaped.

But ofc their are....thinner grumpuses, such as wambus or wiggle. Unfortunately I've not drawn them, but I will show my skinnier ocs I've drawn before.

These two grumpuses (even tho they're both undead might I add) have similar proportions as a human would. Mostly with the ratio hips to chest.

But I draw their bodies segmented, say with my skinny grumps you can see how both of their bodies/torsos are made up of three shapes. But with grumpuses like Beffica and Floofty, their bodies are segmented into two main shapes.

But getting into faces and jaw lines...thats always threw me off a bit. But generally speaking I mostly draw faces for grumpuses to be more canine like, either that or to be an animal that more or so fits the characters's.

While I don't really and truly draw much of the actually cast, I fully believe that a character like uh... Say lizbert, if I'm writing this down incorrectly please tell me, but with her I'd imagine she'd more or so look like a seal in the face. A buff seal.

But in general, either more canine or feline like.

With jawlines tho, grumpuses without over/underbites are flat faced. So take that into consideration especially, as their snout would probably point out a bit it wouldn't point out as far as a grumpus with an under/overbite. Say like a pug or smth, they're faces are mostly flat and not as long as dogs with long snouts. Grumpuses with over bites as we all know have teeth that rest above the bottom jaw, causing their teeth/tusks to poke out from their lip. Ditto with underbites, but their bottom jaw goes out more than the top jaw. (Poodles is meant to look like a poodle so that's why her snout points out, BUT I PROMISE THAT'S NOT HOW I USUALLY DRAW IT)

Oh and hair! And eyes as well. Hair, as I assume for grumpuses, can grow on their heads. But it would have to majorly have to deal with genes if a grumpus baby does have hair or fur that grows similarly to fur.

Such as with my two grumpus ocs, one has fur, the other has hair. Again as I've stated, I believe that a grumpus probably needs some type of recessive gene from both parents to successfully grow hair. But it's not really and truly a very rare thing to have. Like I'd assume 45 out of 100 grumps have hair that does differ from long fur.

With eeeyyyeeesss thooo, I imagine it's very similar to what humans have. Such as different eye shapes, sometimes even different patterns of pupils, but that would depend on where the grumpus originates from and how far they we're in the food chain. So yes again, genes. In my own hc I believe grumpuses have 3 different pupils that depend on their gene origin, round pupils (like humans), slit pupils (like cats), and squared pupils (like horses or goats).

We could also get into fur. But again like everything else I've stated before, genes and origins play a huge role in that

But um... For tips, I'd say mostly try and study their anatomy. As well facial structure especially with animals.

As well, take in consideration of characters body shape and anatomy. Even ur own characters.

BUGSNAX - Probably THE biggest fixation I have ever had, took place the entirety of 2021. Pulled me out of the worst depression I've had in my life, made me start drawing again and I have over a dozen grumpus ocs. It's what made me comfortable enough to create headcanons and fan characters again. Holds a special place in my heart.

Current very specific oc things that I'm putting in my fic.

-Rooklyn bringing Wambus sauce plant cuttings to help him regrow his garden.

In game you just collect sauce and then Wambus is like 'I got a new plant stranger.' I'm not sure how putting sauce in the ground counts as seeds, and even in game there's not a visible plant seeds on the sauce plants. From my knowledge of botany, that would mean the next best thing is cutting off a part of the plant and using that to grow a new one.

-Rooklyn lies about losing their original journal.

Explanation for this. Didn't want to show Beffica their handwriting, the amount of doodling in their notes, and also free journal. On top of this, Rooklyn stole another blank journal after getting one from her, cause they were snooping and also Beffica was a jerk to Filbo so yoink.

-Rooklyn often accidentally walks into conversations that they are not apart of and nobody notices until Rooklyn says something.

Effective startling strategy. If I ever draw this it'll be a visual gag, where the camera is shown to one side and as soon as it turns they are standing right there. This is based off of real life experience lol

-Rooklyn will not say a word when they're about to do something reckless and impulsive, they will just do it without warning. For example, throwing or grabbing something out of someone's hands and then sprinting in the opposite direction. Or jumping out a window or off a ledge to greet someone instead of taking the stairs.

This impulsivity ties into many aspects of their character, from the humorous to the darker aspects. I am having fun with the many scenarios this trait creates for Rooklyn.

-Rooklyn is the youngest grumpus out of everyone on the island, and they hide this fact for a couple reasons. To add on to this Rooklyn hasn't been a journalist for the longest time, and is trying to make a name for themself.

To clarify Rooklyn is in their very early twenties, while I headcanon the other grumpuses to be older than that, whether that be by a year, a couple years, a decade, or two decades. The reasons for hiding this fact is very closely knit in with their character arc, I will have a separate post on this.

💝Love language headcanon

I think I've mentioned a few times that Orlifa's love language is heavily seated in acts of service. I like to think sometimes if she's recently visited Elorana's bakery she'll get REALLY invested in making treats for everyone she knows. To a point where either her mom had to tell her to stop using all her ingredients when she was still living with them, and then Floofty telling them to stop spending all their money on ingredients politely (but not being too upset because they secretly love getting to try everything she makes)

🦾Disability headcanon

Orlifa has a learning disability, Dyscalculia! (like me! A deficit in the brain imparing the processing of number-related information) While the severity of it can vary along with how it presents itself, for Orlifa, she has most difficulty understanding math equations and is incapable of doing mental math, absolutely dogshit at judging the amount of time tasks will take, kinda clumsy too (trips over her own feet a lot lol). But doesn't have some of the other more common traits, despite the math struggles she has absolutely no issues when it comes to counting/organizing money, can read 24 hour clocks just fine (unlike me lol)

She's learned to adapt with this and through school/uni keeps a giant notebook with her that has various math equation explanations she can refer to (VERY useful) while working and always has a mini calculator nearby (and still counts with her paws, Floofty finds this cute). Nothing will stop her clumsiness though but it's never bad to the point she's ever like, completely fallen over or it's a hinderance to daily life. Just a little stumble or wobble every now and then. She usually just laughs it off, it doesn't bother her.

She's just like me fr :)

💔Angst headcanon

I do have one I've been thinking about recently but that one is an altered projection of a personal experience, and I think I'd like to keep that one to myself for now, so I will share another headcanon.

During her time on snaktooth, Orlifa's research into her bugsnax allergy DOES return some sucess, enough to the point she experiments with attempting to make an antihistamine, and manages to turn her paw into a strabby with none of her original side effects besides some slight nausea, but it was such an unsettling experience for her she essentially had a panic attack and refused to leave her hut until the snakification wore off. Took a LOT of folk to calm her down. Floofty tried to make a joke that they could always help with amputation now they had the experience but that completely backfired because she almost agreed to it and Floofty was no longer allowed to enter Orlifa's hut unsupervised by orders of Filbo.

📝: Who is your favorite Grumpus to WRITE FOR?

This was hard! I'd say that Floofty is the easiest/most comfortable to write. There's something about their narrowly focused worldview and accidental rudeness that makes writing them feel very natural. The deliberate rudeness I do have to think about, though.

But the most fun is probably Clumby. I enjoy the contrast of a grumpy, pragmatic character with a ton of trauma and conflicting loyalties who wants to do the right thing, but isn't necessarily going to be nice about it. I'm speculating on some of those character traits, but I'm not pulling them out of nowhere.

Also, Chandlo, Snorpy and the Journalist are really fun to write as a trio. I think the Journalist has just enough in common with both Chandlo and Snorpy to bring out sides of them they wouldn't normally show to each other directly.

🫂: What grumpus would give the best hugs?

Well, apparently not Snorpy. Probably Chandlo or Gramble. Out of the characters with long arms, Chandlo is the strongest, and the most affectionate, although the Journalist's stance on affection is unclear. And Gramble has long arms for his size, and likes hugs so much that even his character description mentions it. So definitely one of those two. As long as Chandlo watches his strength.

💕: What's your favorite ships? (Either Canon, Non canon, or canon x oc!)

I like all the canon ships, but my favourite is Chandlo and Snorpy. They're two of my favourite characters (Nearly half the cast is my favourite character), and they complement each other so well. Now that they're communicating a bit better, they're probably going to be unstoppable.

I don't have any canon character/OC ships, but my favourite noncanon ship is Filbo and the Journalist! I ship it platonically, but I also enjoy the romatic version. Filbo and the Journalist are two more of my favourite characters, and I think they should be best friends and be extremely supportive of each other forever.

🌵: Thoughts about Cactriffy?

I have the unpopular opinion that it's not really sentient, and that Wambus or Triffany are the ones moving it around. Triffany uses it as a weapon in the final battle, so I don't think she's that bothered by it. I can't remember if Triffany puts it down before going to the ship, or if she just puts it away, and I guess it's weird that it's on the beach on the end if it's the second one, Possessions are kind of flexible in this game, though.

I don't know what's up with the letter you get, but maybe someone sent it as a prank or a joke after they saw the Journalist take an interest. Maybe Triffany.

…But if Wambus isn't creative, then who was Cactriffy has a favourite Bugsnak????

🩷: What's a fandom headcanon that everyone agreed on that you love? Do you have any of your own headcanons you wish to share?

I don't think there's any headcanons that everyone agrees on. Not even the one about Grumpuses hatching from eggs. Speaking of oviparous Grumpuses, I really like that headcanon! Grumpuses already canonically have some cool non-human traits (their giant sock puppet mouths…), and eggs open up some more points of difference. I like the idea of Grumpuses being bear relatives who re-evolved egg-laying, and their scientists being really confused about where they fit in at first. And maybe their pop culture sees egg-laying as a prerequisite to being sapient.

For a related headcanon, I think the natural history of their planet is similar to Earth's, but the ancestor of placental mammals kept colour vision, result in its descendents developing bird-like structural colour. So being brightly coloured like the Grumpuses is not uncommon among other mammals. Also, other animals tend to have the muppety noses and ping pong ball looking eyes, but the limited movement in the lower jaw is a Grumpus trait specifically.

⌚: what do you think some of the grumpuses were like before events? (I.e. as kids, as teens, etc)

I think about this a lot, but a lot of it's more about family circumstances than personality. Probably the most fleshed out is that the Journalist was a super weird kid, which was fine until they hit their preteen years and the social rules tightened up. They didn't realise things had changed, and kept making animal noises and cornering people to tell them about the latest Mothgrump sightings, until they lost all their friends and became a social outcast. Their parents were also different kinds of social disaster, so they couldn't do much to help.

After a few years, they focused really hard on observing people until they'd learned how they were expected to act. It didn't help them in high school, because everyone already knew them and they weren't very subtle about all the observing, but it did help in college. By this point they were wary of forming close relationships, but they had a lot of friendly acquaintances.

They seem kind of detached in the game, at least initially, so I was expanding on that and also being self-indulgent.

Also! I wrote a fanfic where it comes up, but Chandlo was skinny as a kid and bulked up so he could protect others better, and Snorpy had selective mutism as a result of being picked on for the way he speaks. Chandlo helped him get over a few years later, after finding out from Floofty why he was so afraid to speak. Floofty themself was pretty similar to how they are as an adult, just less experienced and less jaded.

A little later on Snorpy had a crush on every boy. Except Chandlo.

Perrie, but they’re self aware, and a little ahead of the “game” they’re aware they’re in. Plus a new design I’m trying out for Perrie and ig the others.

In this AU, they change up a lot of things, like , stepping up for filbo, or not stepping up for filbo depending on each reset or new slot, just to see the outcome, in hopes to see something new and break the loop they’re currently in. Going as far as to completely disregarding the law of time, and being a little ahead of everything.

Oh, and because I’m a weirdo, snorpy’s theories get confirmed each outcome. Which is prolly why they keep their distance from him for the most part, but of course just to play around a little bit, they sometimes drop snorpy hints or swing by to just simply hang out, since he IS the closest grump to understand how it feels to be a little too aware. What? They get lonely sometimes.
