I just wanted to say that before I went through and read Thicker Than Water completely, I just thought Raz ran away and the Aquatos were still around, and finding out they were actually dead was like getting sucker punched directly in the chest

@bugscout Now I’ve been on plenty of roller coasters in my life and that definitely FEELS like a roller coaster, holy shit you’re so right. The only thing that gets me is the clicking. You only ever hear that clicking during ascents and brakes, I’m not sure why they would keep it through the whole ride. It should be a much deeper roar from the track if they were going for coaster.
