I usually sew topless because I'm constantly taking on and off whatever I'm working on for sizing adjustments. But the part where I have to test the neckband tightness before attaching it to the rest of the garment always feels way sluttier than just wearing nothing at all.

Hiya 👋
Do you think there will be a GO S2 script- book? Cus i read somewhere that they only sold the S1 scripts because their bugdet was cut a significantly mid production and they needed a way to make some extra money. I really hope there will be but the odds are pretty low I think.
Hiya! It doesn't seem so, no :(. I still hope Neil will reconsider this. (?Perhaps as the Good Omens S1S2S3 script book? :))

otayuri week | day five - workplace au
otabek works the nightshift of a movie store, and yuri is a film and photography student that comes to rent&buy movies.
@otayuriweek22
canons and scenes of this verse discussed at length under the cut >>
as usual, i can't write for shit and bridge ideas to anything cohesive or create dialogue that isn't cringe and unnatural so have this list instead (i need y'all to get the full picture ya know) >>
yuri is a film & photography student (more interested in photography over film, which ended up meaning he has a lacking knowledge of movies and the programme requires him to know and watch a lot of them)
otabek is the night shift worker of the movie store. georgi works the day shifts.
yuri started going there to rent/buy movies. at first he went during the day and had initially asked georgi for suggestions but after his third time coming back with georgi's recommendations, which was another over dramatic and terrible romance, he stopped asking. one day, he was late going home from university so he stopped by the movie place at night and that's when he first met otabek on his night shift.
otabek is a semi-pretentions "film not movies" kind of guy, when he saw the stack of films yuri intended to leave with he didn't say anything, only had a look on his face which yuri straight up asked "what's that look for asshole?" to which otabek said nothing and just rang up the tapes and asked "you buying or renting?"
when he returned the movies the next time it was during the day, and yuri went back to rent movies some nights later after evening classes. this time, when he entered the shop otabek was digging through a box of new arrivals and was stacking them on the shelves. yuri browsed whatever movies were on display til curiosity brought him to the box and he asked otabek if there was anything interesting to watch in there.
otabek, finally puts his largely useless (but in this case, useful to yuri) movie knowledge to action. he rifles through the tapes and hands him a film. yuri looks at it with with pursed lips but takes it anyway "this better be good" he warns. otabek just shrugs. yuri adds 2 other movies to take with him from the new arrivals.
this time yuri intentionally returns at night to catch otabek, he puts the tapes on the counter and says "i liked it" then turns away to go peruse the movies. he comes back with 3, and otabek rings them up as yuri watches with mild interest. then asks if he has another recommendation to which otabek stops what he's doing, bites into the lollipop (cherry) he was sucking on, and chews on it as he goes around the counter and walks towards a specific shelf and grabs a tape off of it and rings it up without consulting or showing it to yuri. yuri rolls his eyes before leaving.
yuri takes notice of several things: otabek has a barbell piercing on his left eyebrow, an eagle tattoo on his neck with the wings wrapping around the sides (the lattice of the kazakhstan flag is a band tattooed around his left upper thigh, but yuri doesn't know of it), and a small hoop earring on his right ear. (the gay ear). (also this is set in the 90s). yuri momentarily wonders if he's gay but immediately dismisses it because otabek seems painfully straight and concludes he probably just didn't know about it. it's more ironic than a rule anyway.
yuri has both ears pierced with black studs. he likes to wear rings on both hands and carries his camera with him everywhere. he develops his own photos, has developed them for a long time. he had a bugdet redroom he made in his wardrobe at home in moscow (with blackout curtains, drilling a hole into the back to put in a bulb he painted red, and lined the floor of it with a basin and enlarger). now he uses the university's lofty development studio and practically lives in it. (they are in st petersburg).
otabek smokes and when he isn't smoking he sucks on lollipops and hard candies, his preferred flavour is cherry but he fucks with cola flavour too. he bites lollipop sticks to shreds through the course of his shifts. he tries to keep it to 2 smoke breaks maximum during his shift. the nights are slow so if he doesn't have that self imposed restriction he could spend the entire night on the curb outside the shop smoking till someone came in.
there are bins of candy and snacks on the counter of the movie store, otabek helps himself to the hard candies and lollipops regularly. he drops in a weekly tenner in the register to cover the cost of what he takes (it doesn't, but he deems it close enough).
weeks pass by in similar fashion, otabek's movie recommendations keep making their way into yuri's purchases, they talk about the movies every time yuri comes back to exchange tapes for new ones. yuri rants about the arthouse movies, deciding he hates the genre. he cites that photography is for telling fragmented stories, movies are for telling complete ones. those pretentious films that tell nothing but drone on and on with useless imagery and jarring soundtracks make him furious with hate. otabek drops in an especially awful film of that genre just to piss yuri off and hear the epic rant that yuri will no doubt have prepared for the next visit.
up until that point, all of their interactions have been in the movie store. one day whilst otabek was driving through the streets on his motorbike, he spots yuri and pulls up to him to say hello. yuri had just finished class and was going to grab a bite to eat and asked otabek if he wanted to come with. they become friends. they hang out frequently.
otabek is a hacker by trade. he learns code and hacking shit and does odd jobs for companies to test their security networks by breaking into them and giving them a rundown on their weaknesses and what they need to lock their shit down better. he lives on energy drinks and cigarettes and thinks working out offsets his unhealthy lifestyle.
a handful of times otabek and yuri go into the backroom to watch a movie together from the pile yuri intends to rent. otabek keeps the door slightly ajar, plus there's a small cctv set up of the store in case a customer walks in whilst they're in there.
otabek discovers two things: one, yuri does not shut the fuck up during a movie, and two, his commentary is hilarious. yuri also discovers two things: one, otabek tastes like candy sweet ashes, and two, the earring was definitely a signal.
EXTRA
some details about the shop itself since they wouldn't leave my head and it's hard to represent it in 1 drawing. the shop in the art looks way more clean and official than it does in my head. in reality it's a more dilapidated back alley shop with shitty lighting, old movie posters and sellotape marks littering the walls. the walls have some stains from previous water damage. it smells of air freshner, dust, and a hint of cigarette smoke.
i'm operating on 0 knowledge of a russia in the mid 90s and just borrowing details from unofficial/pirating dvd stores from my home country, but the place makes copies of movies to sell. original vhs tapes are for rent, whereas copies are sold. the backroom is a work station for downloading movies on shitty dial up and copying vhs tapes. the backroom smells of stale smoke since otabek sometimes smokes in there whilst running the recording machines and downloads, etc. he was hired because he knows how to rip files and find movies and hack his way into movie databases to get new/old/obscure releases.
if they don't carry a movie that a customer wants then they can request it and otabek will click around the internet to find and download it and put it on a tape. in the picture, otabek is holding empty vhs tapes that he plans to record movies on to. the shelves have the legit movie copies, but if you want to buy them, a copy is made and you're given a regular tape with its factory sleeve and the movie title written on the label.
they sell and rent originals of russian movies bc they're not hard to obtain and are in demand, especially ones that star russia's heart throb viktor nikiforov (he is especially popular amongst mothers). christophe and the crispino siblings are actors in this verse.
yuri primarily rents the original movies and comes back to buy copies of ones he really really likes after returning them.
the shop is owned by yakov, georgi works the dayshift, and otabek works the nightshift. yakov mostly leaves them to their own devices bc they do a good job. georgi and otabek think he really should hire one more person so they can have some liberty to switch around their shifts when needed but yakov is a stingy old fuck that does his best to not have money leave his pockets. they are open from 8AM to 12AM. they're one of the more popular movie stores in the area since they carry a lot of western movies that aren't easy to find elsewhere and for so cheap.
10pm to 12am are pretty dead hours which otabek uses for pirating shit. similarly the early hours of the dayshift have light traffic so that's when georgi finishes otabek's work from the night prior.

Greetings, I'm Alexios Mikonos, militia commander for New Corynth
Is it possible to buy licenses for Apocalypse Rails as standalone artillery emplacements? I'm looking to beef up ground-to-orbit defenses for our colony but the bugdet can't cover enough full Barbarossa frames for the whole perimeter, nor do we have enough trained mech jockeys to crew them.
We were very satisfied with the performance of your Tachyon Lances, but we can't use them near the agricultural and refinery sectors due to the fire hazard under sustained fire, which has been happening a lot lately.
If it helps motivating you to give me a hand, my rivals in the Defense Council are proposing mortgaging our colonie's genetics to SSC for some Pinaka silos.
Thank you for your request; You can! Our Apocalypse Rails are usually sold only with the Barbarossa frame, but we can do exceptions for things like colony defense forces. We can send 10 deconstructed Apocalypse Rail turrets that can be assembled and placed inside a super-heavy-class emplacement mount, and we're also willing to provide you with a whole Barbarossa, two Shermans and a Legionary-Pilot Training Manual for free as a package deal if you contact us on our supply-line-channels which can be found on the official omni-net site!

About the villain is weak, I agree so much. I’ve talked about it with my friends bc Vincent is the main villain, the nemesis, the mastermind behind of this murder but when their fight scene came, we felt like “just that? it’s already over?” such an anti-climax. It felt like the writer was too lazy on this.
Another (I think) unpopular opinion is Eric and Shelly’s relationship isn’t that deep. They practically like strangers and horny. To me, they’re just like one night stand.
When Vincent said that Eric is a fool for doing this, he’s right.
Lionsgate is the worst for marketing their movies. The trailer was good but then they released, twice, the clip from scenes, and those TikTok edits, I think it revealed too much. I could say people can know the story by watching them even though they didn’t watch the movie.
“Just that? it’s already over” Yup that’s how I felt too.
They knew each other for what, a few days, maybe a week before they ran away and fell deeply madly in love? I think it would’ve been better if the relationship had already been established with flashbacks of them first meeting. I saw the BTS and Bill talks about how Eric being a drug addiction at his lowest he projects this savior complex on her and in my opinion that’s not real love.
I don’t think it matters that they revealed too much since the movie came out the way it did regardless. I don’t know how much they had for the marketing bugdet but at least it was a step up from BKW. I’ve seen more love and praise for BKW than TC. I think if they had partnered up with UFC in some way it might’ve gotten a following with guys who follow the sport.

P-06 and Forces Overclocked literally prove that Sonic 2006 and Sonic Forces could have been great games if SEGA had just given Sonic Team enough time to properly finish the games. I'm not even asking for a good bugdet bc Overclocked's cutscenes are literally comic panels and yet the story and gameplay are better than 70% of all Sonic games out there

I find it a bit weird that Lain from the videos game is very different in style compared to Lain from the anime, dispite being drawn by the same artist.
In the game you can see lots of imagery that contradicts the final desing used for the gameplay. I only can imagine this was due to lazyness/short bugdet (maybe with the excuse of her having two personalities) or its just an odd desition.
Lain in the game has 12 years old, and looks way older than Lain from the anime (who is 14 years old). Also she acts more like a teenager than her anime contrapart.
What do you think?

Storia Di Musica #274 - AA.VV., Easy Rider (O.s.t.), 1969

I hate having to do that but hey
If you are on Twitter be aware of these two

This guy Arox is someone who insist Engage flopped. Many people try to correct him and he just accuse them of coping.
For context, he came to one post that wasn't directed to him and started calling me a liar for saying that Engage costed less to make then 3H and was aiming at Awakening's result, keeping on quoting the interview where they said they wanted Engage to have an Awakening effect (and apparently failing to realize what it meant)
And I tried to explain several time how one can deduce from the data we know that Engage might have a smaller bugdet then 3H and that the comparison with Awakening infered they wanted a result more in line with Awakening... well
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Do you see what I am dealing with. I repeat, we will never know unless we have Satori maiden's power what was the exact budget or the exact number of sales that was expected. All we have are the interview and data concerning the developpement. I already said it but again, if the devs had said they wanted Engage to bring a new audience like 3H did, we would all be expecting that they wanted to reach 4 million sales in 4 years. If they compared it to Awakening, is it really that crazy to deduce they expected to sell at least 2 millions ?
Again, 3H is a much bigger game then Engage. When you read that Engage was originally an anniversary game developped in parallel time as 3H, with a split of team, that their main project was 3H, if you take into account that 3H was delayed for no reason unlike Engage that was delayed just for COVID reason and receives additional developpement because people had time to kill, that 3H had much more cut content including entires chapter unlike Engage who had only some units and voice line, 3H whom we know was rushed unlike Engage who was already ready in its release to the point we got the DLC announced right after, etc you can deduce that Engage costed much less to produce then the gigantic 3H. It has nothing to do with Awakening and Fates cause I never, at no point said Engage has a lower budget then those two nor even a low budget, but simply that it was lower then 3H's but it's like comparing an elephant with a whale. It's not cause the whale is bigger that the elephant isn't big, it's just not as big.
I linked him to post talking about it, to people talking about it and he kept calling me a liar because "it's not explicetely said !" and maybe I was at fault for sounding to sure about it when it's mainly my deduction on the matter, however, he clearly made no effort to actually pay attention or even engage with what I said but he received many other people telling him that being the 4th best selling game is not a flopped and never listened to them and...guess why
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For context, it's about the Best strategy game award.
Basically, if you see him don't try to argue or make a point he won't listen. Just scroll away or block him.
And now.
Tumblr media
Beware of this weirdo. It's an Alear hater that hates the game and keeps commenting that Alear is a and I quote "disguistingly hellishyly ugly pedophilia and incest supporter" under random fanart or content of Alear. They commented that on a literal fanart of them eating ice cream with Sommie ! And I know them. It's the same as this maniac rabbit fangirl of Chrobin and CorrinxCamillar who hates M!Robin and called him a "pedophile" cause they don't like that he can marry Lucina and called F!Corrin slurs because they prefer M!Corrin. I remember seeing them commenting on of on Phoenix Master 's FEH tutorial videos and comment about M!Robin and F!Morgan hateful stuff for no other reason then them being the unit used !!!! I bet it's one again one of those people who still understand even though it was debunked, that Anna and Veyle are NOT romance in the JPn version. Anna's support literaly ends in the same way as Ricken's in Awakening where they aren't in a romantic relationship at the end ! And I still wonder how someone can read Veyle's PR support and goes "ah yes, my sister said she would jump of joy if I were to wake her up to, how romantic" ?!
And not to mentionned that it's incredibly rude to comment on a fanart of someone who clearly likes that character that the character sucks, but even comment on stuff that can be very trigering to hear ?! I personally think incest and pedophilia are super important matter that you should not comment on lightly, so seeing someone who genuinely throws that in a comment about a fictional character because of nothing but "I don't like this" tends to make my blood boil.
I personally am tired of these two, they aren't worth your time. I am not a fan of call out post, but really I am also too old for that sort of thing

...So...this “friend” of mine
So.... I have a "friend," she does see me as a friend. Cares about me and ask me to not over work myself..... However, there has been conversations about a certain "wizards game" that was just released. Talks about the "bullying" and "harassment" of streamers for playing the game. About the "innocents developers caught in the cross fire." And how, "it is important to support the developers." And how "One must separate the art from the artist or else you are going to end up hating everything you used to love and end up miserable." And she also wants to "stand up the bullies and harassers to show she would back down." I have said a lot about Pigfart Legacy the TERF game on my timeline. As you all see. About 1600 words, in fact. And this person has seen my statements about the TERF game and how I feel about it. With all the sources and videos I have shared about the franchise and the huge transphobic author. Despite all that, my "friend" still plans on buying the game. Once it is dirt cheap though, but only because she is on a bugdet..... *tapping their fingers on the desk.*
This isn't the first time I have some issues with this friend. She is in charge community and discord I am apart of. And never kick out one bigot that said to me, a Nonbinary person, "There are only two genders." Granted, I never ask her to kick the person out. But bigotry like that wasn't enough for that person to be kicked out. And there is another bigot in the discord. But I am not sure if she thinks that person is a bigot or not. Or just an asshole and troll. And I am posting this here and other places but not on Twitter because she does see my tweets. What a "fun" community I am in.
