Hi! Remember #BuffyAt20? And #GraduationDayPart1 about 2 months ago? lol! Yes, it's been quite a while since Faith left Buffy behind on that balcony, but here we are together at last: first airing on 13 June 1999, the third season finale of #BuffyTheVampireSlayer was "Graduation Day, Part 2" - and it was a big one! The end of an era, y'might say. Or even - 🔥 explosive🔥! Okay, I'll stop punning for now. What can even be said about #GraduationDayPart2? It certainly delivers on the promise of #GraduationDayPart1. I never realized just how little Faith there is until right now. Apart from psychic dream, her part is over until her resurgence in Season 4. We get fun finale trappings like Cordy finally getting a staking, Jonathan (and, let's face it, Xander) finally getting to be heroic. RIP Larry the Gay Jock, sadly. Burying our gays a little early here in the era of queer visibility. Sigh. And then on top of that, obligatory hetero copulation before graduation for Willow. She doesn't even get in 10 episodes of dude-smashing before lezzing out! Another just-noticed. You know, it's odd, but I have no memory of this episode airing. Unlike #Becoming last year, which I still remember now twenty-ONE years later. But this hyped up delayed finale, I don't really recall. Huh. Perhaps because, exciting as it surely was, so much was already a foregone conclusion. Or maybe I read spoilers already, lol. Who knows? The internet was a wasteland then. Anyway, that's probably all I've got for now. I had gotten really down on myself about this project at the start of the season because it's sort of - well, basic. But I'm glad I've realized that that's sort of okay. It's still good groundwork for the next step, which I'm tentatively calling #BuffySilver for the 25th anniversary. If anything, I underestimated just how much there would be to do for this show! Sharon Stone Encounters A Huge Lizard — Again

When it comes to reptiles, apparently Sharon Stone and many of her fans have a long, long memory.

On Sunday, the actress posted a video on Twitter of a gigantic lizard walking through her Beverly Hills neighborhood. Her two-sentence comment included 11 exclamation points. (Follow-up tweets indicated that animal control had picked up the lizard without incident.)

Stone’s excessive punctuation is understandable. Since she and her former husband Phil Bronstein had a bizarre and traumatic encounter with a Komodo dragon at the Los Angeles Zoo in 2001. 

Stone had arranged a private tour of the zoo for Bronstein, then editor of the San Francisco Chronicle, as an early Father’s Day gift, SFGate.com wrote at the time. He had always been fascinated with Komodo dragons, and zookeepers allowed Stone and Bronstein to enter the enclosure for two of the lizards.

One of the huge lizards bit Bronstein’s foot and wouldn’t let go.

News reports differed on how Bronstein was extricated, but there was no disputing that Stone did a lot of screaming.

Bronstein required surgery to repair his foot, but the dragon was uninjured.

A number of people on Twitter remembered the zoo incident:

For the record, the lizard that Stone saw on Sunday was not a Komodo dragon at all. It was a monitor lizard, SFGate.com reported.

Having kind of a downer night but wanted to make sure I didn't miss a #Buffy: S03E15 "Consequences." This one is a wild ride. My favorite is probably Faith trying to pin the murder on Buffy. Didn't see that one coming! Forever grateful that Giles didn't buy it for a second. It's hard to imagine what the rest of this season would've been like without Faith around.
