Every night at 7:30, on the dot, the girls come up to my door and let me know that they would like for me to escort them to the coop to settle in for the evening. They really follow me like I am the pied piper of chickens and I have to command them them to go in their roosting box with a finger gesture .Then they wait for me to open the nesting box lid and pet them a few times before wishing them sweet dreams. #chickenladylife #backyardfarmer #bufforpingtons

Girls are back outside! We decided we’re moving the pen and giving more grass again. Letting this spot grow out. Penny & Pea will have their own pen also with their little mini coop next to them.
