did we expect the TSJ to say that Maduro was the winner? Yes we absolutely did.

What we didn't expect is how they wouldn't even attempt to make their justification for that believable (... Not that a a sentence from the PSUV could ever be believable bc the CNE, the TSJ and Maduro are all from the PSUV party)

They have shown on national tv people "analyzing actas" that we could outright see were blank. The boxes they stored the "actas" were not the security boxes used in normal elections, all of them looking suspiciously samey. They didn't say which "international bodies" were analyzing the actas and whoever did "analyze" them were wearing gloves and masks to protect their identities to the public because no one wants their faces to be visible committing a crime on national tv. They didn't show a breakdown of the actas or anything. They didn't even attempt to fake new ones (.... Not that they could, by design). They just said Maduro was the winner and that's it.

So clearly, they are losing their touch. And they were caught so badly, their sentence can't possibly hold water. If anything I feel like their refusal to step down from government in a peaceful fashion (and this stupidly to top it off jfc) will just make 1) the people angrier if that was even possible and 2) their fall from power that much sweeter
