Actually on Buddie low key I did not actually want full Buddie canon today. I wanted a realisation or a hint and then for the slow burn to power through season 9. I am discouraged by the lack of hint or realisation but I still think that Season 9 is the perfect time for them to finally get together.

With Bobby I’m just confused. I need the leaked script to be addressed. Why did the Instagram take his tribute post off? Why was there all that foreshadowing about the casket being empty. Idk I still think they will bring him back. Maybe I’m crazy … oh well.

Anyways for now I RAGING how pissed off I am.

I’m sorry but I hate when people doom Buddie after an episode with literally SO much. How can you be unsure? He quite literally said he has feelings for Eddie.

It’s 100% because I’ve been burned before, and getting your hopes up can be soul crushing.

As for whether or not this episode is Buck acknowledging feelings for Eddie I don’t think this counts, due to the whole “pining for my best friend … but I’m NOT” thing (still praying for the denial tho)

Just finished watching "Buck Actually" and Im surprised I havent seen anyone mention the gay couple and how Buck said he hopes he can find a love like that one day, and appears to have a particularly emotional reaction to the couple.

I know they probably didnt intend for it to come off that way when they were writing it, but that would make for some pretty nice foreshadowing if Buddie (🤞🤞) does end up being canon

The fact that his reasoning for not being in love with Eddie is because he CANT be in love with him (on account of him being "straight")..... We all know that if he knew Eddie was gay this would be a much different conversation

Idk if anyone still has doubt about Buddie going canon, but in case you do, allow me to comfort you.

If they are just queerbaiting us, they're doing a really bad job at it. The point of queerbaiting is to allow both sides of a fandom to be happy. The queer fans get excited/speculate about a character possibly being queer, while the straight/homophobic fans don't pick up on any of the hints. It's supposed to be subtle and unnoticeable for everyone except the people who are seeking it out.

With Buddie, they aren't being subtle anymore. It is becoming a plot within the show itself, and is being referenced in more and more interviews. They wouldn't mention the potentiality of Buck being in love with Eddie if they didn't want the general audience to know about it. As soon as they mentioned it within the show, I knew it'd be canon. Otherwise, that whole plot would go nowhere!! So now we just wait

Just saw someone on TikTok say that they think Eddie is already *aware* of his feelings, but he doesn't really acknowledge it or his sexuality. I actually think this makes so much sense and would love for that to be the case

Meanwhile he was perfectly comfortable adding Buck to his will a year after meeting him, literally the epitome of serious 😪
