Wednesday Addams x Male Reader

Request: Being Bucky Barnes' supersoldier son and dating Wednesday Addams. He meets her and her family at her home when Gomez and Morticia insist on meeting his Dad.

You are standing outside your girlfriend’s house. It's everything that you imagined, dark and gloomy, and the crows flying around. Wednesday is standing next to you and she looks at you.

“Scared?” Wednesday asked.

“No. I like the style of your family’s home much different than mine” You said.

“Let me guess, it has colors and around happy people,” Wednesday said.

“Something like that,” You said.

You look at her and smile but she doesn't smile at her. You follow her inside the house and she introduces you to her family. You shake Gomez’s hand and he likes that because your handshake is strong.

“It’s nice to meet you, Mr. and Mrs. Addams” You smiled.

“We are happy that our little storm finally brings her boyfriend,” Gomez said.

“This is a bad idea,” Wednesday said.

“Join us for dinner and it will be ready soon” Morticia smiled.

“Sure” You smiled.

You follow Wednesday to her bedroom. You start to look around she has many books, an old typewriter, files of old unsolved crimes, and some weapons.

“Wow, your room… it's dark…” You said.

“Why do you seem surprised?” Wednesday asked.

“I’m not. I always pictured how your room would look but I wasn't sure with what” You said.

You look out the window and all you see is the graveyard. A Crow flew by the window and you got scared.

“Can’t believe you got scared of a crow” Wednesday said.

“First of all, I'm not scared, and the crow surprised me,” You said.

“You were scared,” Wednesday said.

You and Wednesday sit on the bed, your hand is next to her hand. You and Wednesday look at each other then slowly start to lean in, you are about to kiss her but her mother walks in.

“Dinner is ready, Y/n, and Wednesday,” Morticia said.

“We will be downstairs in a little bit,” Wednesday said.

“Of course and I will leave the door open,” Morticia said.

She walks away.

“Your mom is nice,” You said.

“Mhmm,” Wednesday said.

You and Wednesday hold hands and go downstairs. You sit next to Wednesday and her parents start to ask questions.

“What does your mother do for a living, Y/n” Gomez asked.

“I told you, not to ask questions about his family,” Wednesday said.

“It’s okay. I don't have a good relationship with my mom. I live with my dad and he goes on missions to save people” You said.

“How did you meet my little Scorpion?” Morticia asked.

“Mother,” Wednesday said in a stern voice.

“She stole something from me and it took a while to get it back. I didn't leave her side until she gave it back now we are dating. Plus she likes my super strength” You smiled.

Wednesday rolled her eyes and you just smiled.

“What a romantic story” Morticia smiled.

“I’m going to lose my appetite,” Wednesday said.

“You should bring your father for us to meet. We would love to meet him” Gomez said.

“Why?” Wednesday asked.

She hasn't met your dad yet.

“Of course. There isn't anything wrong with meeting his father, we want to get to know him better. This is the first boyfriend you bring home for us to meet” Gomez said.

“Umm, sure I will ask my dad to come,” You said.

Her parents kept asking you questions. Wednesday wants the night to finish already.

After dinner, Wednesday disappeared to the graveyard. It took you a while to find her and she is digging.

“Wednesday, why are you avoiding me?” You asked.

She kept digging and some dirt went on your sneakers.

“It was dreadful, how my parents got along with you. And my mother keeps thinking it's romantic how we met” Wednesday said.

“It’s true, you stole it from me. I'm confused is it wrong that I got along with your parents?” You said.

She kept digging and more dirt went on your sneakers.

“Bring the coffin into the hole,” Wednesday said.

You help her get out of the hole. She watched you pick up the coffin without any problems. You gently put it in the hole and she gave you the shovel.

“Get to digging,” Wednesday said.

She leaned in and kissed you on the lips, she surprised you with a kiss. You start to smile at her and she shows you affection, by letting you dig with her.

You are home and you are talking to your dad.

“I know you have a girlfriend named Wednesday Addams. I'm not sure if I approve of you dating her” Bucky said.

“Dad, she is nice to me and she cares about me. Yeah, she seems strange to everyone and heartless but we care about each other a lot. Dad, you will like her and her family. Wait, how do you know her name I didn't say it” You said.

“You are not good at hiding a relationship. Plus, I ran into your principal Weems, and told me about you and Wednesday's adventures” Bucky said.

“Please meet them and you will see that they are nice people,” You said.

“Fine. I will go but if she pulls a stunt of hurting someone like she did at her old school, I will forbid you from dating her and I will put you in another school” Bucky said.

“You are being dramatic, dad,” You said.

You glare at him and he is serious about it. You go to your bedroom and you want to text your girlfriend, but she hates cellphones.

You and your father arrived at the mansion. You introduced Wednesday and her family to your dad. Everyone notices his metal arm and he greets them.

“It’s nice to meet you, Mr. Barnes” Gomez said.

“Call me, Bucky” Bucky said.

“We are glad to meet you. Dinner will be ready in a little while” Morticia said.

“My son told me how you two met,” Bucky said to Wednesday.

“He followed me around like a lost puppy, it was annoying,” Wednesday said.

“She liked it” You smiled.

Bucky noticed that she didn't show emotions. Bucky is trying to figure out why you like her. You and your dad followed them to the dining room. Everyone starts to eat and you are sitting next to Wednesday.

“How did you get your metal arm?” Wednesday asked.

“It happened in 1945, I was trying to stop Hydra an evil organization. I fell from the train down towards the mountain, Hyra captured me and they experimented on me” Bucky said.

“Did you say 1945?” Gomez asked.

“Yes. I’m 108 years old” Bucky said.

He starts to eat his food and they are speechless, except for Wednesday. They start to talk more and get to know each other. Bucky still noticed that your girlfriend doesn't show any emotions at all.

“Is that a hand!?” Bucky asked.

Thing gets on your shoulder.

“His name is Thing, he is part of the family,” Morticia said.

“I don’t know sign language,” Bucky said.

“He said, it's nice to meet you,” Gomez said.

“Hi… Thing…” Bucky said unsure.

“How was Y/n as a little boy,” Morticia said.

“He was shy and didn't want to leave my side. When he was five years old, he did a school dance in front of everyone and I thought it would help him get out of his shell. He got stage fright and he didn't do the dance, I got up and started to do the steps then he started to copy me” Bucky said.

“Dad, you promised not to tell,” You said.

“How precious, of you to do that for him,” Morticia said.

After dinner, your dad kept talking to Morticia and Gomez. Wednesday wanted to show you her secret weapon room.

“Wow, you have a lot of weapons,” You said.

“Nobody knows about this. You are the first” Wednesday said.

You gave her a peck on the lips.

“You are my first serious relationship,” You said.

“Y/n, don't get soft on me,” Wednesday said.

You just smile at her. But she did kiss you on the lips and some of her lipstick is on your lips.

Bucky X Original Chubby Female Character, Nickname: Morticia

Author’s Note: Hi! Thanks for stopping by and I really hope you enjoy the first chapter of this fic. I’ve got some big things planned and I just really hope you like it. I really enjoyed writing it.

Rule 1: Your Goth requires darkness or shade, at all times. Bright, hot spaces are to be avoided without explicit permission.

You could cook an egg on the sidewalk. I was half tempted to at this point. My entire body was sticky and covered in a layer of sweat thicker than I’d ever been covered in before. My dress stuck to my body uncomfortably and I knew I was going to have chaffing on my calves from these boots.

“You better have a good goddamn reason for bringing me out here, Barnes.” I snapped.

Bucky was ahead of me cutting through a line of ivy to clear a path. I saw his back curl in a chuckle.

We’d had this discussion. When Natasha left for missions, I was his to watch. Couldn’t be trusted on my own apparently. You suck the literal soul out of a skeeze for touching you inappropriately once out on the streets and suddenly you need a court mandated babysitter. Bullshit.

I’d much rather be in my cozy nest in my room, Watching Simpsons and smoking several bowls. Maybe I’d pop some popcorn and order Thai for dinner. Treat myself to a nice relaxing afternoon. But, no. I’m stuck out in the middle of bum fuck Egypt for no apparent reason with the closest thing in existence (to my knowledge) to an incubus. The man was six foot five inches of pure sex and just radiated big dick energy.

Currently though, fuck him. Not in the good way.

“The stop is just up here, Morticia. You bring your bathing suit like I told you to?” Condescension dripped off his voice like honey. I motioned to the pack on my back with an eye roll, thankfully hidden by my sunglasses and hat.

I followed him up the hill and through the thicket of fully green trees. The terrain began to level out and we approached what looked like a cliff.

“Absolutely, fucking not Barnes. Did you really bring me out here to jump to my death? Ready to get rid of me, already?”

I knew he wasn’t my biggest fan, in fact, that was the reason Natasha picked him as back up. She thought there’d be less of a chance of me using my “wiles” to get my way. I gently reminded her, I learned from the best.

Bucky stopped and smiled, propping his hands on his hips. I could see a thin layer of sweat on his brow and felt instantly jealous of that damn serum running through him.

“I brought you out here to let go. You’re too wound up. You either hole yourself up alone or seclude yourself in Nats room. She’s tired of it. Frankly, I’m tired of listening to her bitch. So, doll, you’re go behind that tree and change - gentleman’s honor, I won’t peek - and then, we’re gonna jump off this cliff, together.”

I rolled my eyes and pulled off my sunglasses. If men have one thing, they have the audacity.

“I’m not cliff jumping with you, you goat fucker.”

Oof. Too much. Bucky’s face twisted in this sick half smirk half scowl and he advanced on me. I stumbled backwards, catching a boot on a rock and fell back on my ass. My tailbone stung and I looked up, bleary eyed to see a very angry James Barnes staring at me. He kicked the rock out the way and laughed.

“Am I making you fall for me already, sweetheart?” He mocked. Bucky knelt and grabbed the front of my dress, yanking me up and leveling my eyes with his.

“Go get fucking changed. I won’t tell you again.” He let me go and I landed with a sharp thud. I watched stunned as he just walked away to the ledge again and stripped off his shirt. There was NO way he’d catch me staring. Not after that. The consistent ache between my legs told me that if I wasn’t careful, something bad was going to happen. I picked myself up and adjusted my now, stretched dress. There was a large, old tree nearby and I decided to use that as cover. Believing that Bucky would keep his eyes to himself felt so far away at this point. But, the shiver that thought sent up my spine made me immediately put that fantasy to rest. I changed quickly, pulling my boobs in the cups of the black bikini and sending a prayer to the gods they’d stay there. I tied up my top and bottoms and adjusted the back. The skimpy garment was a great choice at the time of purchase. I would have never thought I’d End up here.

A moment later I mustered the courage to leave my hiding spot. I stuffed my clothes into the bag and slipped on my flip flops.

“Put your bag by the Boulder on your right.”

Bucky called. He never looked over. I did as he said and walked to him. My Heart pounded against my ribs almost painfully. Bucky finally turned his gaze toward me. With a huff and s jaw tick he held out his flesh hand to me.

“You good, Buck?” I asked.

He nodded, “Yeah, I’m good.” He certainly wasn’t. But, I took his hand and we walked to the edge. I could see for miles. Endless green and blue sky, wonder and beauty for miles. Untainted majesty in the middle of New York.

“I’ve wanted to do this for years. Never found the right partner. So.” Bucky looked at you, “wanna jump with me, doll?”

I nodded way too many times. I gripped his hand tighter and he moved us to the edge.

“Okay, we’re going to back up seven steps and then when I say go, run. Don’t let go.”

We went flying, Through the air, like two of the strangest birds. No wings, no way to keep themselves up.

We crashed. Pummeling through the cold water together. I felt Buckys hand slip from my own as we went under. I was consumed. The impact jostled my senses and I struggled to gain stability under the water. As I thrashed, trying to force myself up I felt a hand grab my arm.

Bucky pulled me to the surface and we swam to shore. We both heaved and fought for our breaths for a few moments before raucous laughter broke out.

“You said you wouldn’t try to kill me.” I chided. He cackled. I tried desperately to catch my breath.

“Good?” Bucky asked. His voice sounded genuinely concerned.

“Yeah, ugh. Just, need to breathe.”

We sat like that for what felt like forever. Watching the sky and resting our lungs, we warmed beneath the sun. After a few moments, I pulled myself up and sat cross legged.

“Why’d you agree to do this?” I asked.

“Huh?”

“Why did you agree to be my “escort” when Natasha isn’t around?” I asked him again. After months I still hadn’t figured that out. Usually, he stayed as far away from me as possible, even when he was supposed to be with me. I would walk into a room and he would leave. It’s not like he ever went far, I could always feel his eyes burning into me - but, he never made the effort to even stay around me.

“I know what it’s like to lose control. I’ve been unfair to you, honestly. I know you think I hate you, doll, but I don’t. I’ve been in therapy for a bit…” I turned to look at Bucky as he continued, “working on myself. Figured out that I was projecting my own fears onto you. Some shit my therapist said anyway. You can’t be expected to take shit from people for all your life and never fight back. I didn’t see some soul eating witch and I don’t. I see a woman who is tired of being treated like dirt and she fought back. She just happens to be able to eat souls.”

The tears formed quick, They burnt hot like betrayal in my eyes. I was so wrong about him. God, I was wrong.

I reached my hand over and covered his metal one with my own flesh fingers.

“Thanks, Mr. Roboto.”

A tiny frown forms on your face as you stare into the pot. Brows furrowed, you move away from the stove and towards your small companion seated comfortably in their rich mahogany box home. “Do you think it needs anything else? I just feel like it’s missing something.”

The hand patiently assisting you makes a snapping motion before pointing at one of the nearby shakers.

You grab it, a smile reappearing on your face. “Of course, you can never have too much arsenic. Thank you, Thing.”

Adding your newest ingredient you stare out the window, admiring the bright flashes of lightning that litter the darkness, followed shortly after by loud claps of thunder that reverberate throughout the neighborhood. And despite the lack of wind you see the bushes rustle ominously. 

What beautiful weather we’re having tonight, and what wonderful visitors I’m sharing it with too.

Smiling to yourself you turn back, “Thank you for your company tonight, Thing. Glad to see you didn’t get lost in the mail this time.”

A finger reaches over the side of the box and points at the packing label. You raise an eyebrow and let out an understanding ‘huh’. A new courier company, perhaps I should recommend it to the rest of the office?

Having successfully managed to grab your attention, the lone hand begins signing to you.

C-A-L-L-T-H-E-M.

Thing punctuates the end of their sentence by pointing to the cellphone stranded on the kitchen island. Sighing, you lower your head. Thing was an expert at reading people and having had this conversation earlier today you knew they weren’t going to let this slide again.

“Fine,” you mutter, grabbing the phone and hitting speed dial. It rings for only a few seconds before a familiar rattling groan answers you.

“Hello, Lurch. Always a pleasure to hear your voice.”

There’s a surprised grunt in response and you chuckle, pushing the phone between your cheek and shoulder. “I’m wonderful, thank you for asking. Lurch-” your hand flies back the wooden spoon, Thing stirring away in contentment “- don’t get me wrong, I’d love to catch up with you but I’m afraid I’ve got a little bit of an issue that I need some advice on... dealing with. Is Morticia around?”

There’s a shuffling as your tiny sous chef scuttles along the flecked granite counter, setting the cutlery up nearly by. You throw a thumbs up and they’re quick to respond in kind.

“My dear, it’s been far too long.”

“Tell me about it,” you say. “It’s been hellish recently. But I suppose the destruction of three HYDRA bases will do that. Incident reports don’t fill themselves. Not to mention the volatile technology that consistently makes its way onto the compound grounds. There have been two meetings within the past month alone about the destruction of property and fire hazards.”

“How delightful.”

“I know. Isn’t it just amazing? Honestly Morticia, it’s simply astounding how much destruction one team can create in a single week.”

At the mention of work your frown returns. It’s not the job or the responsibilities that come with it, oh no. You’ve taken to it like a flaming duck to water. Who knew filing and managing superheroes would be so fulfilling? And to be compensated nicely for writing about it? Even better.

No, work wasn't what left you with agonising heartache each day.

“I’m not currently keeping you from Gomez or the dark forces, am I?”

“He and the children are busy gardening right now, you know how the graveyard can be sometimes. One to dig, one to swing the lantern around-”

“-another to keep the dead firmly underground,” you enthusiastically finish.

“We’re so proud of you, you've come such a long way. From nanny to government agent - every individual’s worst nightmare.” Though you know she couldn’t see it, it didn’t stop you from smiling wistfully. You don’t know whether it’s the witchcraft in her blood or just great genetics, but her calm voice is quick to soothe the anxiety swirling in your gut.

Now that you think about it, you’re pretty sure it’s both.

“Thank you Morticia, I couldn’t have done it without you. Seriously, what was in that glowing recommendation letter you gave me? The others won’t stop asking me about it.”

“Red phosphorus, courtesy of our very own Uncle Fester.”

“Give him my deepest thanks for that. I think it really sealed the deal.” Clearing your throat momentarily, you look over to see Thing with their thumb up and fist curled, their encouragement obvious and endearing enough for you to continue. “So the reason I’m calling, as much as I miss you and the family, is that I may have met someone. Someone rather exciting. And I need your help.”

The questions come in fast:

“Are they handsome?” “A real lady killer. Or gentleman, I don’t think he discriminates when it comes to bloodshed.”

“Does he have a job?” “Where do you think I get all of my casualty reports from?”

“Is he mentally sound?” “Goodness, no.”

A sigh escapes your aching chest, heart beating faster the more you speak of him. “He’s deeply unsettling, devastatingly dashing, and downright violent. Whenever he looks at me I can’t tell if he wants to kiss me or kill me.”

Something stirs faintly in the shrubbery.

There’s silence, a heavy pause before your former employer states, “He sounds like a perfect match. A wonderful visage of brutality and spirit. I couldn’t have wished for better for you.”

If only wishes were like flies, then everyone could keep them in a jar and save them for a rainy day.

There was a connection that was born the moment you first locked eyes with Sergeant Barnes, a tension behind those icy blues that unfurls every time he looks at you. How you’re able to get any work done when he haunts the obnoxiously bright compound halls so regularly is beyond you. Does your presence unsettle him the way he does to yours?

“Thank you, Mrs Addams. I thought I was going crazy.”

“It’ll happen one day, just you wait.”

“One can only dream. Still, I feel as though I’m doing something wrong. I’ve left the door unlocked and he’s not once moved away from under the window. Does that make me look desperate?”

“Love makes desperate fools of us all - Gomez, attendez.” Her words move through you like rich wine before laughter breaks out at the muffled sound of your friend’s loving husband going absolutely bonkers over his wife’s french. Sharp clicks cut through your amusement. Eyes snapping to Thing, your gaze quickly follows their pointed finger towards the hallway entrance. You watch for but a single moment before dangerously turning your back.

The walls whisper to you - He’s here, he’s here, he has come. The quiet slithers into your skin and pleasurably twists around your spine as you stare half-heartedly at the countertop, your hopes daring to turn into the most delicious nightmares. “Morticia, it seems more company has arrived. Give the family my best.”

“Enjoy your evening dear. We’ll dance in your honour.” It’s impossible to not hear her grin with satisfaction through the speaker.

“Likewise, Mrs Addams.” 

And the call is abandoned.

It’s the heat from his chest seeping into the meat of your back and the dripping of rainwater from untamed, damp locks down and onto the column of your throat which makes your head automatically roll back in bliss, hair pressing into wet leather and kevlar.

He even dressed up for the occasion.

It’s the chill of precious metal against your knuckles as you lower the phone and the exquisite scents of gunpowder, moist earth, and sweet iron hitting your nose that cause your eyes to flutter shut, overwhelmed too by the sight of caged cerulean - the barely visible peepers wide with passion and mania.

What a way to go.

It’s the way Sergeant Barnes lowers a mouth made to bite and rip and tear tenderly to your face and rough flesh follows the curve of your hip that almost brings your heart to a stutter, your fight-or-flight instinct going completely haywire. Roseate lips trace your cheekbone, a rich and soulful sigh escaping his yearning body.

“Belladonna.”

A corner of your mouth lifts in contentment - he remembers, how sweet. “You’re late, mon cher.”
