The best part of this meal wasn't the mouth-watering elotes, or the delectable brussel sprouts, or even that tender pulled pork. It was that I finally found an acceptable substitute to plastic straws at @lettuceentertainyou's @bubcity....straws made out of hay! Paper straws are mushy and they just ruin the flavor of the drink. Reusable straws, well gag me, I don't trust those to be clean and sanitized. But these hay straws are good in my book. They hold their shape, don't ruin the taste, and you can still use it to pick your teeth (in private)! #straws #hay #HayStraws https://ift.tt/2MEe9nA
