Since I did what Doflamingo does/says in I'll build castles for you, my love (look at me, not my brother) (Rosinante x Reader x Doflamingo WIP) I bring the aforementioned brother from the title and a snippet (which is before he dies but I wrote it and nearly cried, so I thought it was worth a share) with him:

Guess I’m not coming back home this time.

Rosinante was going to make sure Law gets away. He could get himself to Eudai by paying a fisherman to get him there. He’d be safe there, and with any luck, he could then decide what he wanted to do with his life. He knew you wouldn’t ask Law to stay with you if Law didn’t want to. You were good at reading the kid like that.

Law was a smart cookie. He’d probably activate his Devil Fruit powers in an hour from now on and heal himself within a minute. Rosinante knew it. He believed in it.

Rosinante isn’t worried about anything, he isn’t afraid. He is grateful. He is so grateful to be here, in this moment, on the side he considers right.

Not on the marines’ side. Not on the pirates’ side.

On Law’s side. He was Law’s Corazón now, not Doflamingo’s.

You said such to him yourself. Law saw Rosinante as his guide, Law trusted him, had faith in him, just like you did. Law had become a part of Rosinante’s family, your small family Rosinante was the patriarch of, the protector of. Rosinante wasn’t fighting for the marines now, or for the pirates. He was fighting for a sick little boy because nobody else would, nobody else wanted to, nobody else thought to, except him and you.

You had guided him and supported him to become the man he is today, catching him by the hand before he could trip and fall the same way his brother did. 

He remembered the first time you tried to teach him how to dance with him, and he ended up stepping on both your feet. 

“I’m so sorry! Please give me another chance.”

You told him, “Just enjoy the dance.” before pulling him into your first dance together, and he did as you asked, letting his legs follow the beat and the song, and it turned out okay. He never stepped on your feet again.

Six months later, he was dancing with you every day in the living room of the house the two of you called home, pulling you into a dance on the field of blue forget-me-nots, your sweet, soft laughter caressing his ears.

Because of you, Rosinante knew he’d never lose his way. Because if he did, you’d set him straight, grip his hand so he doesn’t fall apart. 

You were the flag Rosinante carried in his heart.

He felt so lucky to have you. He was the clumsiest, luckiest man on the planet. He never thought his clumsiness would bring him to you.

Rosinante was happy. Donquixote Rosinante was the happiest man on earth. He didn’t need any treasure, or an army, or a country, or immortality, or the world. None of those things could ever make him happy as living with you and Law did.

And Rosinante realised it then; it was that Doflamingo lacked. He had a family, but he also didn’t. For a moment, Rosinante pitied his brother, even though his brother had done it to himself. To live without experiencing pure happiness, genuine happiness, without hurting anyone to attain it… 

It must hurt, Doffy. thought Rosinante sadly. You must be lonely.

Rosinante looks at his older brother, and for the last time, there is a pang of pain in his heart at the sight of what his older brother has become. 

Rosinante pulled out the pistol, aiming it at his big brother — at Doffy, at Doffy — pulling back the safety pin, knowing very well he wouldn’t press the trigger, and knowing very well his brother would.

Rosinante really wished he’d gotten to dance with you one more time.

Currently, Rosinante's part (Part 1) is 8.4k words, Doflamingo's Part 2 is 13k words so that one might get separated into 2 parts to keep it a normal word count. Part 3 (also Doflamingo) is the shortest at 4k words but there is a lot left to write and plan for that part.

Suna was already a very protective type so when he found you laughing at the front door in a pair of long pajama pants and his hoodie, he was confused. who were you talking and laughing with? even though he was only wearing a pair of sweatpants and a damp towel resting on his shoulder, he walked up to you. he protectively wrapped an arm around your waist before kissing your cheek. he looked at the person at the door, holding a big bouquet with a tight bow and money. he frowned at the sight, straightening his back as much as he could muster in the moment. “oh! this is my boyfriend, Suna! Suna, this is my ex, the one i told you about a few days ago.” Suna frowned as he looked at you and then back at the person at the door. he knew how badly they had treated you. “thank you for the visit, but it’s six in the morning on a saturday so it’s a no.” he closed the door in the face of your ex, locking it before picking you up. he never usually picked you up because of his back. he walked to the kitchen table and sat you down. he ignored the continuously knocking as he kissed up your neck sweetly. he reached your lips rather quickly, kissing you passionately as he pressed himself closer to you. you chuckled, cupping his face as he rested his hands on your thighs. “next time-“ he cut himself off with another kiss. “‘m opening the door, i don’t care if i’m half naked, ‘m opening it.” you leaned your head back as he kissed your neck in a sweet manner. you laughed, looking at him and running your hands through his hair. “sure-“

You and Bokuto were in the kitchen, laughing loudly as you threw flour at each other. "Bo! Stop!- No!" You coughed as you flapped your arms around, Bokuto loudly laughing at you. He laughed before walking to you, wrapping his arms around you. You huffed at him, blowing a bit flour off his hair. he chuckled, kissing your flour covered nose. he pulled a funny face before someone rang the doorbell. he looked towards the door before letting go of you. "do you wan't me to ope-" Bokuto cut you off. "No no, I'll get it, you're covered more in flour than I am." He smiled at you before dusting off his hands. He walked to the door and opened it. And he froze. In there door stood a way too familiar person, flowers and money in hand. Bokuto felt a jealousy and anger bubble in his stomach as he squinted his eyes, crossing his arms. "Yes?" Your ex, who was at the door, chuckled nervously. "U-Uh-, is y/n home?" "No." Bokuto shook his head as he replied blankly to your ex. Your ex sucked in a breath and held it for a second before sighing. "Alright! I'll come back later-" "They won't be home the next few days. Weeks- months." Bokuto kept adding more, still with a blank face. You giggled in the kitchen, covering your mouth quickly. Your ex frowned. "y/n-" "NO." Bokuto grabbed the flowers and money before slamming the door closed and locking it. He huffed and returned to the kitchen, now wearing his wide and proud smile as he put the flowers in a random pot filled from earlier. "Bo, that's our tea-" Bokuto slammed the money on the table. "Where do you wanna go tonight?" He grinned at you, his eyes disappearing in his wide smile as some flour dusted onto his nose. He sneezed before smiling at you again. You broke out in laughter at him. "I technically just witnessed a robbery! Bo, you're a criminal!"

you and Tobio were laying in the beanbags in the living room of your shared apartment. both of you had basically just moved in after starting in college. you yawned as you searched the bottom of the bowl for popcorns crumbs. both you and Tobio flinched at the sound of banging on your door. you looked at each other before Tobio stood up and grabbed a hoodie. he slipped it on and walked to the door, opening it. somehow, he knew who it was by the flowers and envelope in their hand. he raised a brow at the person at the door. “and who are you?” Tobio crossed his arms a bit. you could hear him questioning from the living room but you stayed put in the bean bag. “is y/n home?” Tobio frowned at your ex speaking. you widened your eyes a bit, putting the bowl down and crawling onto the couch. you could just barely see them now. Tobio frowned, uncrossing his arms. he put his hands in his pockets. “you didn’t answer my question.” your ex was now visibly annoyed. “i’d like to speak with them, this is a gift-“ Tobio smiled bitter sweetly at the ex, taking both things. “i’ll bring it to them, thank you.” your ex widened their eyes at him, opening his mouth to speak just to be cut off by Tobio slamming the door in his face. you broke out laughing, falling forward over the back of the couch. Tobio widened his eyes a bit as he turned around to see you partly in pain and partly laughing. “y-you just slammed our front door in the face of my ex!” you continue laughing as Tobio stood still, glaring at you for not taking it serious.

he did help you up and threw the flowers out afterwards before going back to movie night. Tobio started posting you two on his instagram more often after that.

Cupid Parasite Part 4 - Gill Lovecraft Route

Time for Gill, the guy with the same love match as me hahaha. Let's see if I think he's too much like I did in the common route lol😅 LOL a wall of text omgg, Gill is pretty nuts, I can feel the pressure through the screen😂 I legit couldn't help but facepalm when Gill rocked up with a bouquet of red roses like omgggg. Lollll when he started acting like a butler and giving her his hand when there were only three steps of stairs😂 I like his initiative in just going for it and holding her hand but I didn't really like his mindset of "it's a date so he doesn't need to ask if he can", like yeah, you don't need to ask for permission for everything, but you also need to be considerate and think about your partner. I can see why Lynette is drained lol, it's very exhausting to be with Gill because it's like he's babying you as if you aren't capable of doing anything.

Loll so Lynette's name is the name of the heroine in that drama or movie she watched with her aunt? Hahaha! Honestly though, I think Gill looked better back in the day lol. I guess I can see why Gill thinks that he needs to be so accommodating. He's still stuck in the past to when Lynette first came to the human world and knew absolutely nothing and needed Gill to teach her everything about daily life and common sense etc. I don't blame him that he thinks that he needs to be like that, but at the same time he needs to see Lynette for who she is now and not who she was before. She's grown so much from that little girl back then and I'd say she has more common sense than him now lol. Anyway, Gill being stuck in the past hurts because it's something so relatable that it's sad tbh. Especially when he reminisced about when Lynette put too much laundry detergent in the washing machine and made their apartment full of bubbles lol, it's like he remembers everything but she's moved on from that life a long time ago already, which is understandable considering how long it's been, but I can see how sad it is to think about how close you used to be with someone but feel like you barely know them now.

Honestly, Gill isn't too bad, but yeah, the fact that he builds his life around love is not my thing. He literally chose his job and everything to make time for a romance that wasn't even blossoming! Even though Gill is overbearing (especially with the messages saying he arrived a whole hour early lol), I think having someone so genuinely appreciate your existence is very heartwarming. Lol, legit everything about Gill is him accommodating to become the ideal man for Lynette, like it's good dedication but yeah lol. Awww Gill looks so cool and cute in a white suit!! He definitely looks better without glasses imo. LMAO at the memory of Gill saying he would carry Lynette everywhere so she didn't need to walk😂😂 Gill really needs to consider other people's feelings more. It's surprising that even though Lynette told him back in the day to not treat her like a child that he's still like this trying to do everything for others and not reflecting on it. I guess it's hard to change how you are when you're so accustomed to it. LOL Claris is so straightforward, love how she just told Lynette that Gill was always awkward at breakfast back in the day because he for some reason always had wet dreams about Lynette when Claris was home😂😂 I agree with Claris, Gill got what he deserved with spamming Lynette with all those messages from the beginning of the day until their "date" causing her phone battery to die, like omggg. Gill is probably the perfect maid with how attentive he is to drink refills and everything lol. He does all the house chores, cooks dinner and everything, he really helps Lynette relax after a long day lol. But it seems that he's working until late at night to do all this so it's not good at all! Gill really needs to know his limits, he'll burn out at this rate.

They can't introduce Gill's brother but not give him a character sprite!! He would be so hot!!😭😭 Lol at how similar the brothers are in how they dedicate their whole lives for the person they like. At least Galen is engaged to the one he likes though so it makes sense that he wants to do whatever he can to keep their relationship and her happy enough that he would lie about liking something she loves. Even though Gill needed Lynette's encouragement and reassurance that she loves people who strive to achieve their dreams, it's still good for him that he's remembered what he likes to do and wants to work towards that now. Personally, I feel like it's kinda weird how attached Lynette is to Gill haha. I know she's grateful to him especially since he taught her so many things, but at the same time her missing him so much just because he's constantly working now is kinda awkward? Haha, sometimes I wonder if it's more guilt because she feels like he's so devoted to her that he's still cooking for her despite his crazy schedule and she's "touched" by that feeling that she needs to reciprocate somehow as some sort of responsibility. Obviously it's not necessarily that, but I honestly lean more towards it being like that than it actually being romantic love, because I don't feel like they really connect at all other than Gill pampering her all the time with his excessive "love".

Gotta love Raul, only he would think UFO sightings are actually some sort of god sighting instead🤣 Lolll at Lynette trying to take a bath with Gill back in the past haha. Anyway, considering how helpful and considerate Gill was from her perspective in the past, it's kinda silly but also saddening to see that they didn't communicate at all until they reunited at Cupid Corp. Anyway, at least the confession didn't drag on for too long and Lynette finally told him how she feels. LMAO at Mars using a rooster to look for Lynette😂 It's kinda funny how she's got an arrow to break up relationships that aren't linked by fate, sounds bad but it's just all the toxic relationships so it's a good thing. Although I understand Lynette's misunderstanding and frustration, I'm surprised she doesn't really believe Gill at all, especially since she knows how much Gill loves her. Well, let me just say that when they kept emphasising how much Gill loved cars, I didn't expect them to go wild and literally let him fulfil his dream of driving a flying car (with the help of Cupid's bow as an energy source) named Bumblepig (lmao) to reach Celestia so he can see Lynette again. Oh wait?! Is Mars making up lists to break up any couple with any sort of problem just to make Lynette stay in Celestia? Or these gods are really just that controlling over nothing? Wow, Gill has a folder of secret photos he took of Lynette eating and sleeping??? I don't know why Lynette is swooning because what the heckk loll. He's super obsessed, it's definitely more creepy than touching lol. Anyway, lmao at Bumblepig honking every time someone talks to him or is talking about him😂😂 Well, as expected, Gill takes over the company, yay~ Lmao, I didn't expect his brother's dream to have been to open a burger shop though, that was random but cute. Awww, even though I'm not a fan of Gill, their wedding CG is so cutee! I like the ending where Gill continues his career path as an author, I think it suits him. Omg at that bad ending where Gill pampers Lynette and she just stays at home doing nothing for the rest of her life lollll, that's actually very scary but it's exactly what I thought would happen if no one stopped Gill or if Lynette got a bit mentally weak and let Gill take over her life😅

Overall, I wanted to keep an open mind for Gill but even with that, I still don't think I like him lol. Personally, I didn't mind the flashbacks because they were rather cute in their own way, but it also highlighted how Lynette's existence and actions basically dictates his life without question. He doesn't doubt anything and only follows and "loves" her in his obsessed way which is very unhealthy and definitely not a romantic relationship. Honestly, I think if the route gave a reason for his obsession, I might have been more chill with it, but he's just basically obsessed because she was cute, naive, kinda nice and liked his last name loll. Anyway, it just felt like he didn't love her and make her life better or anything, he just selfishly wants her to kinda be like his doll and it's just weird. Gill eventually gets a bit better by the end imo but I still find the way Lynette so easily accepted all his creepy antics as "love" and appreciated him always being there very awkwardly done, so it made it difficult for me to really enjoy their relationship either since it felt very uncomfortable. I think Gill feeling like he couldn't live in a world without her just made me feel even more like that. Otherwise, the transforcar and stuff was pretty silly but cute. The CGs were nice and I think I like Lynette's wedding dress in this route the most. But yeah, I did enjoy seeing Gill remember the things he wanted to do in the past and achieving them, but I guess it always irked me how nearly everything he did was because the heroine basically "told him to" and that's why he pursued it, like yeah he still made the decision, but Gill is exactly what I never want to ever become, someone who lives their life revolving around their partner. Honestly, I wish I liked Gill because I really like his appearance haha, too bad I guess!
