I normally don't repost my art like this but since most of these are just posted as one picture I also don't wanna reblog a lot of posts. So! Please look at my Dream Wardens. I love them so much.

For the outfit meme thing btw, I would like to point out they don't really need sleep and they exist to work so no need for fun outfits. HOWEVER! Marcus and Colette's ties are the other's eye colors. Sil and Luce have gray ties because Luce was more recent (still a hundred years of partnership) so it's pretty much "you're being scored to make sure you can keep the job" and they eventually would get ties to match the other's eyes color.

The basic premise is! They live in a realm filled with dreams which they have to keep watch over to make sure don't escape. Whether dreams or nightmares, they must be contained. So it's kind of like a prison - each person has a cell that contains their dreams. There are.... a lot of wardens. But each "floor" has eight wardens and it's a circle where the wardens work in pairs. So Marcus and Colette are the focused pair and then they make rounds, they'll end the shift in a rest area where they either hang out with Luce and Sil or Sophia and Ruby. Those are the four they interact with while those four have another duo that they meet on their rounds.

The wardens cannot die. Literally impossble. They can get injured but it heals really quickly. So while Marcus would prefer to not be impaled (again) it wouldn't actually kill him. He'd just be sore.

They also just do not age. So they're centuries old. That said, for a while Colette had a different partner who retired and she got Marcus... and Marcus was incredibly quiet and reserved and scared of messing up for like 10 years before he started to warm up to her. (Time do be feelin' different there) And then he opens up a bit to Sil and Robert who was his partner at the time. And then hundreds of years pass and Marcus is super comfy with them (Sophia and Ruby still intimidate him a bit but that's different) and suddenly! No more Robert. Now it's Luce. And Marcus spends five years avoiding any and all conversations with him because oh no he's hot. Sil gets interrogated by Luce because "have I offended him in some way? he won't even look at me" and Sil is just "dude's shy. took him ages to warm up to me and my previous partner" and eventually Marcus laughs at something Colette says and Luce is like "ohhhhh nooooo I'm doomed he's so cute". While the entire time Marcus has been refusing to attempt conversation because "no he's handsome I'm doomed since I'm bad at conversations".

And they mention Robert sometimes (Colette, Marcus, and Sil) around Luce and Marcus seems chill about it. But then Marcus gets a serious injury that will recover but it would impact his job too much to patrol without a head so they send a temp replacement and it's Robert. And Sil is like "oh oh trade you Luce for my old partner give him" and Colette "are you kidding? you had him for sooooo long I wanna patrol with Robert now! it's only gonna be a little while!" and Robert just .... doesn't wanna be there. And when Marcus is fit to return he begs the people in charge of their routes to NOT LET ROBERT LEAVE until he can say hi and they let him. Unfortunately it involves Marcus busting into the break room saying "ROBBIE ROB!" and Robert sighing but standing up and extending his arms for a hug. Two pats on Marcus' back. and "okay bye". Luce is left in absolute despair cause he's never seen Marcus that happy oh boy.

Anyway my dream wardens mean a lot to me and I really miss them now.

Relationships to Sin

Morey,the Minotaur - Is the most loyal servant and a previous servant of his mother. He respects him highly and does his job as head servant. He does not get into personal matters with Sin only other servants/staff.

Jesh,the Werewolf - Started off as a enemy toward Sin but was tamed and given job as treasurer. Is very greedy about money and valuables. Has a scheming buddy relationship with Sin as he always trying to get Sin into schemes for extra money.

Lustre,the Incubus - Most disobedient one. Forced his way into his job as he witnessed Sin being very bad. It can be said sometimes Sin is very irritated with him other times he relies on him for important stuff. Their relationship can be summed as Sin wants to choke him but gently as they lock lips with Sin probably trying to bite his tongue off. A testy relationship..

Cosmo,the Harpy - Lustre's partner in crime. When together on tasks in the city they are literally going to cause a scene with outfits or harassing someone. Cosmo acts like a valley girl. She obsessed with Sin and flirts with him every chance she gets but Sin sees her as just winged friend/servant. This is probably due to her association with Lustre he isn't picking up on her genuine intent.

Waffle,the Unicorn Beasthuman - Is the baby of the house as has a sad backstory of being separated from mother when 2 in forest in area not far from Sin's house. Mother was being hunted as rare beasthuman by someone. Waffle was found by Maya and brought to Sin. For all the dark scary aesthetics around Sin this bright colorful unicorn made him overjoyed so he raised them. Waffle now 18 thinks of Sin as a father figure and is only one who can get him to break his scary mold for awhile as Waffle so bubby and cute. Waffle's tears can cure almost any sickness & disease but not ones from birth meaning if born with it. The tears just temp relief pain for those with born ones. Wasn't suppose to be servant but accidentally got hit by 7 deadly sins spell Sin was casting on others and became one.

Forneus,the Oni - Standing at 12ft'5in this man is big,intimidating,and often shy. He likes he head of security cause means he can just hide and watch others. Has a thing for Lustre and somehow dated him for awhile before being dumped for being clingy. Has his eye set on Waffle but detests humans even some beasthumans so conflicted. Sin appreciates the safety he brings to the house as who gonna mess with this giant but is aware he may like his unicorn sweetie..so slight dad mode.

Maya,the Kitsune - The head lazy fox butler/maid. Usually gets up and makes sure all the other maids/butlers have their tasks as always with their own task list. Is always found asleep during own tasks so constantly has to be woken up. Morey usually one who finds them and somehow they fell in love. Sin finds Maya so adorable with the sleepy affliction but can become so strict when someone out of line. He trusts Maya with so much also as much as Morey.

Btw i am making sprites of each one in wear they are in when working so can see each one.

It's VERY messy but I'd love to get some opinions or maybe some asks so that I can flesh it out more. Also I just want to get more motivation to work on it.

how do draw?

Oh geez what a broad question lol

It depends on what you want to know i guess! The advice i give you always depends on what you want to know since just straight up drawing is a whole mess of different tactics and styles.

My process is probably different than a lot of other people's, since i start all my art traditionally but always end it digitally lol

I guess I'll just tell you my process! Which may not help much with your question, but its a place to start i guess! (I'd take pictures while doing this but my sketchbook is downstairs and I'm stuck in a zoom meeting ;-;)

First i start with a sketch. If I'm having trouble with the pose, I'll draw a tiny figure in the corner of my page to help me get the basic form down. During the sketch, i start with the basic form and then begin sketching outfits and details, always starting with the torso and then ending with the hair and face!

Next i take a picture of the sketch and plug it into my art app i have on my phone- i use Ibis Paint for anyone who's wondering btw, its a great app for beginners and very user friendly and free too!!

Then I ink the sketch! Depending on the size of the drawing or the look I'm going for, my line thickness can change, but recently I've been pretty consistently using a line thickness of 5.0. For the hair i use a force fade of 40% on both the begining and end of the line too and for the laces on shoes and boots and for facial details i use a 4.0 thickness.

Next i do colors. I brush in a temp background color- usually like a simple light grey or brown- and then i just splash in colors in big blobs. I do this because in the past i would spend eons trying to select the entire area i wanted to color FIRST and the process added like an hour onto my art.

Then once all the the colors are in place and chosen, i crop it all down to fit the area i wanted colored. I also do my eyes durring this, and i actually do my eyes specifically different than i draw everything else- i choose a flat color, then i move the color selector in one direction or the other while also darkening or lightening the base color. Idk if that makes sense I'm just gonna show you a picture for this one-

And then i blend the colors together. The darker color is always on top while the lighter is always on the bottom.

After doing all the flat color i go back and color my lines! I do this by selecting a color just darker or lighter than the flat color of the part I'm working on- ex: if the shirt i had was a light blue, I'd make the lines around the shirt a slightly darker blue. Note: i don't do this for the face- the way that i draw eyes and faces makes doing this look odd. Instead what i do for eyes and faces, is where the face overlaps with the hair, I'll take an even darked color than the lines i used for the hair and make everything that overlaps that color, while the rest of the face is a soft greyscale or black.

After i color lines i go in with shading. First i decide whether or not i want cool or warm shading, then I pick one solid color and shade it all- i don't change the opacity of the colors i use to shade until the end though, and when i do change the opacity its always at 50%.

Along with shading, i do my highlights. Unlike with shading though, i hand pick the color of my highlights based on the color of what i am highlighting. If what I'm highlighting is a dark red, I'll pick a lighter red to highlight it with. I hardly use a hard white to highlight unless the base color is already light enough.

Then lastly, i do the background, sign the picture and add any other details i think are needed!

It’s been months since I started this but I finally finished it but yeah….BNHA OC that I had been meaning to draw for even longer than that. But yeah blue color schemed and round eyed energy quirk UA student who I made before nejire even got introduced….horikoshi owes me cash money. I actually have several more that I will, eventually, get around to drawing, but regardless. Info abt them + other oc tidbits under the cut!

They’re Karagi Korobi! First name Karagi, they have an older twin sister who’s quirkless named Ikousai (  移香斎 ) I don’t fucking know Japanese but according to the internet, the kanji for their last name ( “ 転 ” ) + the first kanji in Ikousai ( “ 移 “ ), can mean phase change, like you know. science. It’s pronounced differently though (ten-i, i think?). I live for making puns, especially those I mostly don’t fully understand nor have any real right to make.

About Karagi tho! They’re autistic, give off a pretty lethargic air about them. A tired kid, surprisingly driven and can be stubborn and unintentionally (?) rude at times. Blunt but without realizing it for the most part. About their quirk! It’s an energy one, they can convert the energy around them, along with their own energy (not like nejire, more like their body heat, or maybe maybe not kinetics (?)). I don’t actually understand science despite my vested interest it in but suspension of disbelief please. But yeah, as long as they have a consistent source of energy, they can use it. Turn your enemy’s energy against them! Would be affective against something like todoroki’s fire, or bakugou’s explosions. It’s best used in reactive type situations- someone comes swinging and they can use the energy emitted as a shield, kinda sorta. Thus far they’re still not very good at proactive use of their quirk, they can make and sustain small shields using energy pretty well however! Backlashes of their quirk: uses a lot of energy, the lethargy bit. Oddly has a low base body temperature, does better at colder temps. They get tired easily, and need extra rest and sustenance. Kind of goes through highs and lows of activity because of it. So yeah basically just any kind of energy sustaining process, metabolism or sleep functions effectiveness, can be affected by it. Along with that, the perception thing. Really sensitive to things like bright lights, loud sounds for extended periods of time, crowds, sudden changes in temperature, high temperatures in general. Basically, they would do terrible at like, a crowded concert in the summer or something. Usually doesn’t affect them in the day-to-day as much anymore, they’ve gotten better at handling it and have a higher tolerance threshold. It used to be a big issue when they were a kid especially! Their hero outfit helps with all of these things btw! Weighed vest for one, hood + the thing in their hair both work to muffle sound, , and tinted goggles (also maybe have other practical uses? UA has high tech stuff, maybe a comm thing or night vision / screen display or the like). Despite my drawings, they wear jackets a lot. Both for the above reasons, helps w/ sensory stuff, but they just like jackets bc I decided they would bc I like jackets myself. Word of god everyone, artistic license.

They have three aunts! Plot reasons but they get semi-adopted by three polyamorous lesbians who make up One (1) vigilante. The aunts quirks are: a light quirk, a shadow / small teleportation quirk, and a steven-universe-dragon-ball-z-esque fusion quirk that ups the power of the former 2 low level quirks. Their vigilante work includes things such as Robin Hood-esque theft, housing minor criminals, and potentially extortion (?) Their story involves mostly internal conflict and unnecessary angst because that’s how they are. Initially only wants to be a hero bc of their sister, changes and grows less pouty and learns what kind of things they want to do for their own self. Spoiler, but their goal ends up being wanting to graduate UA, put off heroism / only doing part-time sidekick work for college and getting a law degree and challenging / attempting to dismantle some of the bad in-world issues w/ The System (the whole mass-media militaristic unquestioned shounen anime political climate, for example)

Crossdressing Len Post 1:

First, looked up poses from senshistock, b/c I didn’t want to draw Len in the same boring model pose for each outfit. (Tho that would’ve been easier.) For some reason, I sketch better in MS Paint. (The folder I got most of my poses from were her pinup poses btw.)

Then, on medibang paint pro, I sketched out the outfits I wanted Len to wear before they left my head and after several hours of scouring the web for dresses I wanted to see him in. (Mockingbird was very helpful in helping me find references and on deciding on what to go with :3)

Added accessories and wound up changing three out of five designs in the end cause I wanted Len to show off his body more. (The flannel jacket will be featured in another pic later on.)

Naked Len time! So I could get his proportions figured out. Yes, I did copy/paste his face for four of these so I’d have consistency XD

Cleaned line art! In the fic I’m writing to go with this pic, (It’ll be a 5+1 type), I have Len wear glasses along with his dresses. Not sure if I should draw that on here or leave him without them. Patterns will be added during the coloring. I’m open to suggestions on those XD

Next, I created a layer for colors and used gray, (150,150,150), as a temp fill in color till I figure out what colors to use for some of his outfits along with patterns to put on at least two of his leggings here. I also duplicated the layer so I had one for shading.

I have a general idea for colors, but I’m open to suggestions if anyone thinks these should be in other shades aside from blue, black or gray. Or pattern ideas.

Nicknames for the dresses so peeps can tell me which one they have a comment for, (in order from left to right): Snow Bunny, Snow Slut, Snow Casual, Snow Shapeless, and Gun Dress.
