💐 How does your OC handle being unwell or forced to rest in bed? Who cares for them and in what ways? Does your OC enjoy being doted on or are they a terrible patient? Reversed: is your OC good at taking care of others who are ill or in need?

Emmanuel can be stubborn af but if someone he cares for is like PLS REST BEFORE YOU DIE he’ll do it. for them. Samson considers himself the storm to Emmanuel’s calm though Emmanuel doesn’t see it that way. Sam is reckless in battle and up until he met Zahara, he was basically hoping every battle was his last. So getting him to rest/take care of himself was like pulling teeth. They both don’t mind when Lilith (Z’s mom) heals them nor when Zahara does either. They’re complete mush in her hands tbh 

Emmanuel can be a bit of a mother hen. Samson hides it better. But they both are so affectionate and nurturing, like their physical appearance is contradictory to how soft these two are. and when it’s Zahara whose sick or needing them? lord have mercy 

🌿 What way does your OC show that they care without using words? What way do others show your OC that they’re cared about without using speech?

Manny (emmanuel’s nickname btw) in one scene wrapped Z in a blanket and carried her to her favorite outside seat and just read a book next to her while she looked on. Since Sam sees the soul, he feels everyone’s emotions around him as though they were his own so he knows when someone needs a hug or to be left alone. when to sneak into the kitchen and carry chocolate to Z’s room before she even asks for it. 

Their best friend is Zahara though her parents adore them too. Emmanuel and Zahara have a tendency of using sex and physical intimacy as a means to cope/distract. Do with that info as you will. Touch and physical intimacy is something Samson is still getting accustomed to but he feels safe with Z and Emmanuel. They like to bring him sweets because he’s got a mean sweet tooth and Z likes to show him the music she likes as he missed out on the last 200odd years so she’s taken it upon herself to get him to try everything at least once. they will also pile up on her bed and watch horror movies and crime documentaries. 

🌳 What is your OC’s favourite way to relax after a stressful day? Do they have a favourite book to curl up with? A hobby? Or do they have a nice bubble bath and have an early night to bed?

Manny and Samson both like to work out and train to deal with stress. They both play piano thanks to Z’s dad teaching them and Sam can play the guitar, too. They both are the worst when it comes to going to bed early and it takes them a lot to be completely burned out to warrant it. But their favorite way to relax is lounging somewhere (*cough*Z’s room*cough*) with a good book where Z and Emmanuel take turns reading to Samson. 

🌲 How deeply does your OC feel? Are they typically empathetic or do they have a hard time connecting with others in this way? What are they like when offering support and comfort to someone they care for?

Since Emmanuel was an angel first, feelings were like a major NOPE. He still had them, still made connections with those in his former Legion and he did fall in love (which led to his inevitable banishment but that’s the easy way to explain it) but it wasn’t until he became a demon and swore himself into Lucifer’s service that he learned to truly allow himself to feel and to show any kind of love/care he felt for someone. Zahara’s best friends (andrea and June) both get really close to him, too, and rely on him as well. 

Samson’s feelings are pretty much what was manipulated to lead him to his eventual demise. but then he died and came back hellbent on making the god he once served pay for all that was done to him in god’s name so feelings were pointless. he ran on nothing but rage and bloodlust until he started to see himself as a monster and was haunted by all he did. Now that he’s back and Z is in the picture, he finally feels like he has a reason to stay, to live and be more than what he was. he’s the one literally everyone trusts, who everyone runs to for advice. He’s quick to stand up for someone and put himself between them and whatever they’re facing, literally and figuratively.

OMFG lol 

despite the fact that these two can level cities, and have destroyed armies together like it’s a casual stroll in the park, they are both 10/10 Baby. No one would dispute that within their circle of friends and family. they couldn’t deny it either, especially if it’s Zahara who says so.
